Morrowind plugins are new companions. Plugins for Morrowind: ring of timelessness, scroll of portal forms, completion of all quests (Morrowind, Tribunal, Bloodmoon)

Breathe new life into your favorite Bethesda RPG.

I'll tell you a secret, for the first time I launched Morrowind on the Xbox console. I liked it right away, but I simply couldn’t pass up the opportunity to purchase the PC version and install a set of mods on it. We all love the game for its incredible (even by Elder Scrolls standards) originality, but we often forget that Morrowind had its share of shortcomings. Mushroom-shaped trees and settlements inside dead insects came complete with a rather inconvenient leveling system, some bugs and the need to walk hundreds of virtual kilometers on foot.

In the 15 years since the game's release, modders have done a great job improving Morrowind in every possible way. Currently, Morrowind can be found on sites such as Morrowind Modding History, Morrowind Nexus, and Mod DB. Here is a selection of the most notable of them, but keep in mind that this list is just the tip of a giant iceberg.

If you've never played Morrowind, it's worth starting with the original version of the game to understand exactly what elements you want to improve. We also recommend using programs like Wrye Mash or Nexus Mod Manager, which will take care of installing and configuring mods. And, of course, we advise you to always read the installation instructions for each mod you like.

Patches and tweaks

Oddly enough, a number of bugs could still be found in the legendary Bethesda RPG. These mods not only fix them, but also significantly improve the main gameplay.

Download

The creators of this mod did their best, fixing most of the serious bugs and errors that caught the eye - from broken saves and disappearing items to the in-game calendar, in which the days were incorrectly distributed by month. In addition, the mod makes some nice changes to the game, including modern screen resolution and an over-the-shoulder view of the character in third-person mode. The Morrowind Code Patch acts as a foundation for larger mods (like Tamriel Rebuilt), but it can conflict with mods that improve the leveling system like Galsiah's Character Development and Madd Leveler if you don't uncheck the "Rollback of skills and characteristics" box when installing it. "

Bethesda is not very good at integrating DLC into its games, and this is especially evident in Morrowind. In the full version, which includes all the additions, from the very first seconds of the game a hunt begins for you, announced by the Dark Brotherhood, and if you don’t want some assassin to kill you in your sleep at the very first level (even if you manage to fight back, then you still won’t be able to try on his equipment due to the huge difference in levels), we recommend installing this mod, which cancels all night visits of killers.

The Unofficial Morrowind Patch

Download

Each game in the Elder Scrolls series has an unofficial patch that fixes hundreds of minor bugs and shortcomings - from grammatical errors in dialogue to problems with some quests. If you don’t like that completed quests are not always removed from the list of tasks, and the Edryon inscription (instead of the correct Edryno) hurts your eyes, then this mod is for you. A number of situations in which NPCs gave completely inappropriate remarks have also been fixed here.

Download

If you're tired of showing up in the town of Seyda Nin and going through the tedious process of registering with the bureau every time you create a new character, then you should like this mod. In it you can quickly create a hero and select any of the ports as a spawn point. In addition, the new character will have basic equipment in his inventory that matches his skills.

Download

The user interface has always been the weak point of all Bethesda open world games. If you miss the color scheme of Skyrim, looking at the angular interface of Morrowind, then this mod is exactly what you need.

Moving around the game world

Tired of tedious runs from one point to another? Then check out new ways to move and upgrade that will make your life in Morrowind much easier.

Andromeda's Fast Travel

Download

When you cross the entire Ashland region for the tenth time in search of the next NPC important for the quest, the thought that giant fleas are not the most convenient means of transportation creeps into your head. This mod turns road signs into fast travel points. All you have to do is look at the sign indicating your destination, press the space bar, and you will instantly be there (exactly 6 hours will pass in the game).

The mod does not work quite correctly with fan-made additions that add new locations - I, for example, once found myself in the middle of the ocean instead of a new city - but it still saves a lot of time for everyone who is more interested in quests rather than long journeys from point A to point B.

Download

The second way to speed up the pace of Morrowind is to increase your character's running speed. Of course, this slightly spoils the intended mechanics, because you won’t have to spend your earned skill points on pumping up your speed, but it will save you from routine runs around the area. The mod has several speed levels, but we recommend choosing the highest one - it will allow you to feel like the Flash, but at the same time you will always clearly see the world around you.

Download

Huge domesticated fleas grazing near cities and settlements are certainly an impressive sight, but I always felt that the potential of the Silt Striders in Morrowind was not fully realized. In this mod, we climb onto the back of such a strider and observe its movement in real time. You can change their speed if, for example, you are heading to Vivec, but do not want to spend half an hour admiring the passing scenery.

Download

Heading to Ebonheart, but don't want to negotiate with the ship's captain? The Sell N Sail mod will allow you to purchase your own watercraft - be it a small boat or a huge galleon (for 205,000 Septims!). By the way, the cabins of this galleon are so comfortable that you can live in them peacefully, dragging all your chests and equipment there, and steering the ship at sea is a complete pleasure. You can buy your own ship on the island not far from the settlement of Gnaar Mok.

Melian's Teleport Mod

Download

Mark and return spells are extremely useful in cases where you need to return to a fairly remote location, in which, for example, your home is located or a merchant offering to buy goods at very attractive prices. By default, the game allows you to mark only one place on the map, but with Melian’s Teleport Mod you can place an unlimited number of markers with unique names.

Visual improvements

Morrowind's graphics certainly aren't the same 15 years later, but these mods make the game look great even by today's standards.

Download

Morrowind's landscapes captivated us in 2002 and still look pretty good even today, but the faces of the characters left much to be desired from the very beginning. They look like photographs clumsily stretched onto cubes. Better Heads is one of many mods that corrects this situation, and is notable for the fact that it is compatible with almost any mod. But if you are interested in other options, then you should pay attention to the old article dedicated to comparing mods for replacing NPC faces.

Download

And since we touched on this topic, why not update the textures of the characters' bodies? In this mod, the body textures are based on high-resolution photographs of the modders themselves. You decide whether the heroes wear underwear or not, and, let's be honest, enemies running around in underwear look funny, to say the least.

The best way to improve the appearance of buildings and nature in Morrowind is to install this mod, which includes five separate texture sets. For example, the Mesh Improvements set gives small objects like plates and candles a noticeably less angular appearance.

Download

Modern PCs allow you to easily set the draw distance to maximum to get rid of the omnipresent fog on the horizon. But you can go even further by installing the Morrowind Graphics Extender XE mod, thanks to which Vivec will be visible from Pelagiad itself.

Download

Sandstorms, floating clouds and the starry night sky will become even more beautiful after installing this mod. It uses more modern rendering of weather effects, changed the textures of the sky, and also has several built-in options for rendering the moon.

New locations and quests

This is truly a new world. No, seriously: there is so much new content for Morrowind that you could play this RPG for the rest of your life if you wanted to. Only a small part of mods on similar topics is presented here.

Download

Initially, Bethesda planned to show an entire continent in Morrowind, but in the end they focused only on developing the island of Vvardenfell. If you are still disappointed that the creators did not keep their promise, then this mod deserves your attention, since it added a huge part of the mainland with new cities and gorgeous locations. Unfortunately, the quests here are quite monotonous, but for the sake of the opportunity to explore endless spaces, you can put up with this.

Download

Those who wanted Morrowind to be more like Vampire: The Masquerade have finally had their dreams come true. An entire quest line has been added to The Underground, which is built around a nightclub for the undead, which is located in Balmora. Here, seductive vampires will give you quests, and you can even build a romantic line with one of them. The atmosphere of this club is very different from the style of Morrowind (they play compositions by The Beastie Boys and Garbage), but it looks very interesting. But keep in mind that you may need additional mods that will contain a short walkthrough of this quest line, as well as those that will save you from problems like endlessly respawning spiders.

Download

The vibrancy of the Shivering Isles (which first appeared in the classic Oblivion) has inspired many modders to create their own Elder Scrolls creations, and Immersive Madness is a prime example of this creativity. In this mod, you can join the cult of the Mad God Sheogorath by visiting his altar south of Molag Mar, where you will find quests to find the stolen orc's ass, battles with a stone, a staring contest against representatives of a rival cult, and a whole series of equally crazy tasks .

Download

The longer you play Morrowind, the less surprised you become at what happens, as everything around you begins to seem a little ordinary. If you want to bring back that feeling of newness, then try installing Morrowind Rebirth. Each location has familiar features, but the environment looks completely different - new houses and NPCs have been added here. In addition, new equipment, monsters, music and much more await you. Morrowind Rebirth is a great excuse to play through the game again.

Official plugins

Download

If you purchased Morrowind through the GOG service, then by default it will have a set of official plugins from Bethesda. And everyone else can find them in the Nexus application and install them either as a whole set or one at a time. These sets include updated soundtracks, quests to restore the propylion network and battle the undead for a castle on the island, new types of armor and arrows, as well as new entertainment in the Eight Saucers tavern.

SureAI is a German modding team known for their massive Nehrim mods for Oblivion and . Arktwend and Myar Anath follows the same tradition and replaces Vvardenfell with a classic fantasy world with a slightly gothic style. The mod is noticeably inferior in quality to Enderal - there's a good chance you'll be killed outright by hordes of monsters, and most of the heroes here speak German unless you install the necessary patches, of course - but it's still a pretty impressive update.

Monsters and NPCs

Make Morrowind characters more talkative and monsters more realistic.

Annoyed by the awkward Morrowind font used in dialogues, menus and magazine? Then you need the Better Dialogue Font mod, which makes text more enjoyable to read. We also recommend installing Less Generic NPC, which will replace standard character lines with unique dialogues, each of which is at least interesting to read.

Download

Following the legacy of the Better Bodies and Better Heads mods, this update adds new textures for the two playable races, making the Argonians and Khajiit look much more solid. And if you play as a representative of one of them, then you can choose a unique appearance for him.

Download

Worried about the lack of children in the game? You should talk to M'aiq the Liar. But if you really need little fidgets that run around the streets, then this mod will take care of it. But like all mods that add new NPCs, it doesn't always work correctly, so don't be surprised if some kid gets stuck in a doorway and refuses to leave.

Download

A Bethesda employee named Gary Noonan, known in the modding community as WormGod Elite, created Morrowind Advanced, which adds new challenges to the game. Existing monsters become stronger, and new ones (like giant golems and pumped-up centurions) are able to deal with you in a couple of seconds. In addition, the average level of all encountered enemies also increases. However, all this is compensated by new caves and more generous chests for equipment.

Download

Replenishing the fauna of Vvardenfell with new monsters is a rather risky endeavor, because standard fantasy creatures may not fit into the overall atmosphere, let alone ordinary horses. But a modder under the nickname Piratelord managed to cope with this. The Ash Poet and the Steppe Dreug look quite appropriate, and along with them, regular animals like moose and butterflies appear in the game. This mod also reduces the aggressiveness of rock riders, and therefore now you can kill them one by one without fear of a whole flock attacking you.

Combat system and skills

Improving Morrowind's clunky combat system is exactly what the game needs. Agree, stable damage and accelerated experience gain will not harm your favorite RPG in any way. So, it's time to become.

Download

One of the simplest and most accessible mods that affects game balance. Faster Skill Increases allows you to increase the corresponding skill after just a few seconds of fighting, jumping or running. Yes, the angelic chants that accompany each promotion are a little annoying, but you can put up with it, because to access interesting quests you no longer have to kill the same type of monsters for days on end.

Download

Even if you have firmly decided that you will not play as a mage, the ability to occasionally use a levitation spell to avoid going around the mountain, or a mark and return spell to return to the quest giver, will not harm you. However, the magic bar in Morrowind takes a long time to recover, which is why the heroes often have to sleep. If you don't mind Morrowind being closer in spirit to Oblivion, then this mod will allow you to speed up the recovery of magic, which will make the passage much easier.

Download

The success of a particular attack in Morrowind is calculated by a complex game algorithm and largely depends on the skill of your hero. In some tabletop RPG this is appropriate, but in a 3D game in which you can see that the hero poked the enemy with a spear, misses in such cases greatly spoil the overall atmosphere. The Accurate Attack mod perfectly corrects this shortcoming.

Download

The excellent speed of arrows in Skyrim was inspired by a mod for Oblivion, in which it was decided to sacrifice realism in favor of spectacle. Projectile Overhaul is made on the same principle - from now on in Morrowind, everything that can be launched (arrows, knives, shurikens, spells) will fly at increased speed.

Download

If you want to forget forever about the headache of gaining experience and leveling up your skills, then just install Madd Leveler. This mod increases your stats based on your most commonly used skills, allowing you to focus on completing quests. Galsiah's Character Development mod uses similar mechanics, but if you're playing as a hybrid character that doesn't have a specific class, leveling up can be noticeably more difficult.

Download

In each new game in the Elder Scrolls series, stealth has become more and more realistic, but even in Skyrim we can sneak up on unsuspecting people right on the street if we have leveled up the appropriate skill. This mod does not make stealth perfect, but it does introduce an element of realism. The game now takes into account the time of day, the weather, the armor you're wearing, and the weapon you're holding. And to compensate for the increased complexity, the mod pleases us with a tenfold increase in the attack carried out in stealth.

These plugins were created by me for Morrowind for the purpose of having fun. ☺
"Ring of Timelessness"
The ring allows you to manipulate the character's characteristics. More details
The ring is located in the port of Seyda Neen. Yes, yes, the same one in which our protagonist is released into freedom. And it lies in a barrel located in the courtyard of the Office of Taxes and Duties building.
This ring has permanent effects:
Water Breathing: Self
Restore 100 points of stamina: Self
Restore health 100 points: Self
Restore magic 100 points: On yourself
Also, each time the ring is put on, the player is offered the following options:
Increase one of the seven main game characteristics
Reduce one of the seven main game characteristics
Get 10,000 gold coins
Get one Great Soul Stone
An additional option has been added to increase or decrease skills:
blacksmith
trade
eloquence
athletics
acrobatics
safety
steal
accuracy
protection
unarmored battle
light armor
medium armor
heavy armor
hand-to-hand combat
short blades
long blades
polearm
axes
blunt weapon
enchantment
destruction
changes
illusions
witchcraft
mysticism
recovery
alchemy
This ring is some kind of “analogue of a trainer” or something ☻, but it’s not. I wrote the corresponding scripts in TES Construction Set after some “smoking of manuals” on creating scripts.
The effects that the ring gives are standard and, accordingly, you should understand that these effects restore, and do not rigidly set, so to speak, 100% health.
If you receive one-time damage more than what your hero has developed, then naturally the failed Nerevarine will glue the flippers together ☺. Fortunately, there are practically no young and not very “cheateruff” monsters in the game that could immediately inflict such serious damage. But it’s quite possible to crash without following safety precautions when using the Icarus Flight Scroll xD
This ring is made specifically to run around Morrowind, so to speak, with a cup of tea on quests, of which there are a great many, and to be able to solve the problem of lack of weight right on the spot (although I don’t argue that sometimes, while puffing and sweating, using the corresponding spell or enchanted things that make it easier) weight or increasing strength, trying to crawl to a merchant or a house can also be exciting. I'm not kidding) ☑
The plugin is compatible with the original Morrowind without any add-ons.
You can download the TGM_cl_2.esp plugin from Yandex.Disk: https://yadi.sk/d/FelIVadgrfuB8
"Portal Form Scroll"
Adds the so-called “Portal Shape Scroll” to the game, which, each time it is read, creates a bottomless chest next to the player. More details
The scroll lies peacefully on the floor (I can’t say for sure because it’s harmful 8-)) in the cozy nest of the Camonna Tong crime syndicate in Balmora. In principle, you can settle there if you complete Larrius Varro’s quest, having first asked the local people of Balmora about Camonna Tong ☺

It wasn’t comme il faut for me with a plow on an endless bag, yes... the entourage breaks down, but the magical chests seem like they will help decorate a house and put everything “on the shelves”... but this, as already said, is IMHO created for oneself ☻. Maybe it will suit you too =)

The plugin requires the "Tribunal" addon installed for Morrowind. uses a script function that already appeared in it.
You can download the TGM_c.esp plugin from Yandex.Disk: https://yadi.sk/d/ecNKsNT1rfuB7
"Quests"
A set of books containing descriptions and walkthroughs of all quests "Morrowind", "Tribunal" and "Bloodmoon" - both the main ones and the "road" and unmarked ones Read more
Yes, I’m tired of “altabatting” looking for descriptions of all the quests of “Morrowind”, “Tribunal” and “Bloodmoon”, I mean, in addition to the plot ones, also the road ones + unmarked ones (the plot ones have been completed a long time ago and more than once ☻). Therefore, a simple plugin was created that adds eighteen books, which describe the passage of all types of quests of the original and both official addons.
In fact, it’s thick “copy-paste” from different sites, but most of it is from http://tes.ag.ru and http://ru.elderscrolls.wikia.com, for which everyone who once wrote and filled them out is grateful Thank you.

The books are waiting for their owners in the tavern (also a hotel and trading shop) of the port of Seyda Neen, "Arrilla's Inn" in the room for the night. Rent a room with a bed there for the night for 10 gold and calmly take away the “lamer’s books” and feel like kings ♔...well, I’m with you ☺

The plugin is compatible with the original Morrowind without any add-ons (although I’m not sure that anyone is replaying Morra without Fornication and Tribune now ☂).
You can download the KVEST.esp plugin from Yandex.Disk: https://yadi.sk/d/md_21Uc8rfuB5
ZY You can twist these plugins and scripts as much as you like, everything is absolutely Freeware, as they say: “Cheers to your health, Comrade!” and when writing, I did not intend to mock the feelings of fans of the series.

This guide is intended for autistic Nerevarine who want to create their own Morr, using blackjack and dunmer. For the rest, download a full restorepak or over-the-top and don’t strain yourself.

How to independently assemble the most patched Morr with shaders? Just!

    a) Take Morrowind Exe Optimizer

    http://timeslip.users.sourceforge.net/exeopt.html

Rewrites part of the code, adding support for sse and other gadgets. Increases work speed. Reduces the number of departures. In rare cases, it works the other way around, so a backup of Morrowind.exe is required! The optimizer in the link only works with the original English .exe of the latest version! For 1C, google a special version of the optimizer on Fullrest, the same goes for the Steam version.

    b) We use 4 gb patch

    http://www.ntcore.com/4gb_patch.php

Allows Morr to address up to 4 gigabytes of RAM. Relevant for 64-bit systems

    c) Download Morrowind Code Patch 2.0

    http://morrowind.nexusmods.com/mods/19510

Fixes a bunch of nasty bugs that plugins can't handle. Fully customizable. It is advisable to check all the boxes in the Bug Fixes section. Changes the gameplay somewhat relative to vanilla. To make money on the steam version, you need to change the dates of the .bsa and .esm files to 2002-2003.

    d) Install Morrowind Patch Project (optional)

    http://btb2.free.fr/morrowind.html

Fixes hundreds of errors, shortcomings and broken quests that littered the original Morr. It’s not suitable for the Russian version, download GFM instead:

    http://www.fullrest.ru/files/gfm5

    http://morrowind.nexusmods.com/mods/27588

A powerful mod manager that can also find and resolve conflicts between them, as well as clean saves from garbage. Details - in readme

    http://code.google.com/p/mlox/wiki/Mlox

Auto-arrangement of plugins in load order, conflict detector. Convenient, it allows you to avoid spending a lot of time manually editing dates in plugins (Morr builds the download order solely by file date, from older to newer).

    TES Advanced Mod Editor

    http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=other.detail&id=53

Editor of plugins and saves. Allows you to manually clear debris from them when nothing else helps.

    http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Utilities.Detail&id=29

A utility that automatically enters the bsa archives that come with some houses into Morrowind.ini. Attention, archives not included in the ini will NOT be detected by the game! In some random cases, BSAReg is buggy and does not include the necessary archives in morrowind.ini. Therefore, it is better to check everything yourself.

    d) Making GRAPHENE and VIEWING RANGE

    http://morrowind.nexusmods.com/mods/41102

An add-on that allows you to attach GRAPHON to Morrowind, as well as several useful script functions. Optional, but recommended. It also includes the latest version of Morrowind Script Extender (0.9.4a), which is necessary for a number of mods. MWSE can also be downloaded separately. You can also find earlier versions of MGE 3.8.0 and 3.8.2, which do not have a number of decorations, but work faster.

Separate Script Extender if MGE is not needed:

    http://sourceforge.net/projects/mwse/

ATTENTION! Starting with some Win7 x64 update, MWSE begins to conflict with a protection system called Data Execution Prevention (DEP), which results in constant crashes. You need to add Morrowind.exe to the DEP exception list!

    Morrowind FPS Optimizer

    http://www.fullrest.ru/files/fpsopt

Less YOBish utility than MGE. Allows you to double the maximum viewing range relative to the original, while maintaining absolutely vanilla graphics. It also allows you to set non-standard permissions without hemorrhoids with the registry.

    MODS FOR MORROWIND

Q: Where can I get it?

    A: Main resources with mods:

    For Rusek owners:

    http://fullrest.ru/morrowind

There are a lot of translated foreign goodies, there are several good mods from Russian developers.

    For English lovers:

    1) Planet Elder Scrolls

    http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=mods.list

    2) Morrowind Nexus

    http://morrowind.nexusmods.com/

A more recent analogue of the previous one. They have their own set of wines and a relatively dynamic addition of content.

    3) Morrowind Modding History

    http://mw.modhistory.com/home

An attempt to collect information on all mods for Morra in one place. Useful, but somewhat cumbersome.

    4) Morrowind Mythic Mods

    http://www.mwmythicmods.com/

An extensive selection of links to plugins, grouped by topic.

These are the main places where you can get the lion's share of good plugins. Smaller resources, like Great House Fliggerty or Morrowind Mythic Mods, as well as the pages of individual modders (like Connary with its excellent mantle replayer) are easy to Google if desired.

In general, mods for Morrowind are an excellent topic for fighting and a classic discipline of the Special Olympics. There are practically no unambiguous must-have mods that are necessary for everyone. Maybe the Better Bodies body replacer, because the original humanoid models are absolutely fucked up. Even Better Heads, which I usually recommend along with Bodies, is not liked by everyone. Even patches have their haters. This applies to a variety of texture and model replayers to an even greater extent.

Therefore, think for yourself, anon, what exactly do you need for a comfortable game and which textures/models for you personally are not an eye-catching piece of shit and don’t listen to the opinions of the cuckoos.

The following is a list of mods I've tried, sorted by the gameplay issues they solve. It is information for thought, and not some kind of canon without which the Posons will laugh. Google the links and translations yourself.

    1) Dead cities, characters stand still around the clock and say in copy-paste:

Morrowind comes alive (requires resources from Westly's Master Headpack, but not the mod itself), Starfire's NPC additions, Children of Vvardenfell, Adventurers 2.0, Traveling merchants, Wanderers of Solstheim. Lor-friendly. You can put everything at once. On top you can roll Animated Morrowind I, II and Extended and Hold it. Result: there are crowds of people in the cities, adventurers in caves, blacksmiths swinging hammers, clerks writing, Kammono-Tongans playing with knives, NPCs holding baskets, staves, bottles, etc.

Living cities of Vvardenfell - adds a daily schedule a la Obla to almost all vanilla NPCs.

Less Generic NPCs Series: Gives character, legends, and awesome stories to most vanilla NPCs. Modules like Pax Redoran should be installed with caution: they cut many quests. It also requires attention to the correct loading order, otherwise dialogues may appear (use mlox for this!). RUSEK IS NOT HERE!

Commanding the lower ranks of your guilds: Dracandros voice and/or Give your orders (newer, complements Dracandros well)

    2) Dumb AI, no balance, useless skills, leveling up too quickly, turning the hero into a terminator, heaps of freebies, NO HARDCORN:

Killing freebies from alchemy, soul stones, unguarded goodies, creepers, crabs, etc.: MCP 2.0 and Morrowind patch project/GFM

Eat, spat, bang: Necessities of Morrowind (better), Primary Needs (worse)

Crafting various items: Morrowind Crafting. There is a Russian version on Fullrest!

Time spent on brewing potions, the need to place the devices on the table: Advanced Alchemy (MWSE required!)

Glug-glug when swimming in fullplay: Swimming Realism (not for everyone; tanks can get fucked up quickly)

The beast weighs its desires and capabilities (except for pestilence): Animal realism

Modular rebalancing of many aspects. Spells are cheaper, armor protects better, weapons have stronger damage, stricter requirements in guilds: Wakim's games improvements. A significantly more interesting and hardcore development of this mod is Morrowind BTB. Strong nerf to alchemy and enchantment, very difficult to find high level gear, sawed economy etc.

Penalty to wilt in armor, vulnerability to lightning in metal armor, etc.: Armor effects-LD

The "Radiance" effect with high Unarmoredness (penalty due to the load on the character included): Dodge Mod 1.2.-WD

Direct damage to health from fists (a la Skyrim): Hit-to-Hit Damage

Change in leveling: levels and characteristics grow on their own as skills increase, leveling slows down when approaching 100, health does not increase with leveling, but depends on Will and Stamina, etc.: Galsiah's character development (GCD). OR Madd leveler - the same eggs, only in profile. OR Balor Leveling - real hardcore with a gradual decrease in skills that have not been used for a long time. The listed mods require STARTING A NEW GAME. The GCD version available on the Planet is old and abandoned, but the mod was completed by a company of enthusiasts. A kind anon uploaded the latest version for everyone's joy:

    http://rghost.ru/52892838

NPCs are killed when they are seriously wounded or if the hero is very strong, they know how to switch weapons in melee/ranged combat, they carry more bottles with them, they come running from all over the cave to hear the noise (the latter is disabled by default, otherwise it can be too difficult!): horatio NPC enhanced (You NEED an external utility Morrowind enhanced OR MWSE with a compatibility patch downloaded separately from the Nexus)

NPCs can transition between locations; Enemies from the caves are chasing the Nerevarine on the surface: Pursuit Enhanced (needs MWSE!)

Lots of new varieties of vanilla animals: from larvae to alpha and old individuals. Nests, lairs, egg laying, broods, flocks: Real wildlife 2b complete. An even more advanced option: CreaturesX

Strengthening ashen creatures in general and Dagoths in particular: Sixth house advanced 2.1

Reducing wearable weight (several options): Encumbrance mod

Gold has weight, it is impossible to carry millions with you: VN goldweight

Penalties when walking in ash, pestilence and snow storms: Weather Effects

    3) A fucked-up object layout system, it’s impossible to beautifully arrange your library/Dwemer artifacts/collection of cut-off Dremora pinuses:

Book rotate: the simplest, but only for books:

    http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=1230

    Weapons rotate:

    http://erstamsrealm.net/joint.htm

Decorator+ - for everything, but you need MWSE:

    http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=4256

Improved positioning is an even more advanced version of the previous one. But again under MWSE:

    http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=5528

    4) A bit boring locations, game conventions are obvious, nowhere to put money, small annoying mistakes:

Plucking tops and roots from plants, the success of collection depends on the new skill “Herbalism”: Advanced Herbalism. Analog without a new skill: Herbalism for purists

Bank. Deposits, interest, loans, real estate: Bank of Vvardenfell. One of the few plugins that adds non-cheat lore houses that you need to buy, and not just come and live. Perfectly complements the gold weight mod.

At night, the windows of houses glow: Windows Glow (several modules) + abot"s Windows Glow + abot"s Windows Glow TR (if Tamriel Rebuilt is installed)

Indoor lighting depends on the time of day and the weather outside: Interior Daylight from Spuzzum

NPCs say hello only when you look at them for a long time: Shut up (MWSE needed!)

Mods from abot add animated ships, gondolas and silent striders, which you can ride yourself.

    Riding Guars (not quite finished):

    http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=mods.detail&id=6112

More Detailed Places series: very carefully and only due to vanilla resources makes some locations a little less “sterile”.

Main quest enhancers: as the main quest progresses, the situation in the cities becomes tense.

The Lighting Mod (older) or True Light and Darkness (newer): they resaw the lighting system, which becomes softer and more natural. It also “turns off” the lights in most dungeons: if there are no torches, lamps, crystals or other honest sources of light, then the cave will be pitch dark. ATTENTION, both mods require changes to Morrowind.ini in accordance with the readme!

I would like to draw your attention to:

Rise of House Telvanni: A long, non-linear quest sequence for the Telvanni Archmagister with global political implications.

Tamriel Rebuilt: a global project to restore the mainland of Morrowind. New dialogues, quests, factions. Everything is clear and neat. The eastern third of the province is ready so far, but it’s still ultra-ready. RUSEK IS NOT AND IS NOT FORESeen!

Solstheim Tomb of the Snow Prince by Wollibeebee - Very high-quality sawing of the Solstheim landscape with mountains, valleys and forests.

This guide is intended for autistic Nerevarine who want to create their own Morr, using blackjack and dunmer. For the rest, download a full restorepak or over-the-top and don’t strain yourself. How to independently assemble the most patched Morr with shaders? Just! a) Take Morrowind Exe Optimizer http://timeslip.users.sourceforge.net/exeopt.html - Rewrites part of the code, adding support for sse and other gadgets. Increases work speed. Reduces the number of departures. In rare cases, it works the other way around, so a backup of Morrowind.exe is required! The optimizer in the link only works with the original English .exe of the latest version! For 1C, google a special version of the optimizer on Fullrest, the same goes for the Steam version. b) We use 4 gb patch http://www.ntcore.com/4gb_patch.php - Allows Morr to address up to 4 gigabytes of RAM. Relevant for 64-bit systems c) Download Morrowind Code Patch 2.0 http://morrowind.nexusmods.com/mods/19510 - Fixes a bunch of nasty bugs that plugins can’t handle. Fully customizable. It is advisable to check all the boxes in the Bug Fixes section. Changes the gameplay somewhat relative to vanilla. To make money on the steam version, you need to change the dates of the .bsa and .esm files to 2002-2003. d) Install Morrowind Patch Project (optional) http://btb2.free.fr/morrowind.html - Fixes hundreds of errors, shortcomings and broken quests that littered the original Morr. The version is not suitable for Ruzke, download GFM instead: http://www.fullrest.ru/files/gfm5 e) It is highly recommended to also download: Wrye Mash http://morrowind.nexusmods.com/mods/27588 - Powerful mod manager , which is also capable of finding and resolving conflicts between them, as well as cleaning saves from garbage. Details - in the mlox readme http://code.google.com/p/mlox/wiki/Mlox - Auto-arrangement of plugins in load order, conflict detector. Convenient, it allows you to avoid spending a lot of time manually editing dates in plugins (Morr builds the download order solely by file date, from older to newer). TES Advanced Mod Editor http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=other.detail&id=53 - Editor of plugins and saves. Allows you to manually clear debris from them when nothing else helps. BSAReg http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Utilities.Detail&id=29 - A utility that automatically enters the bsa archives that come with some houses into Morrowind.ini. Attention, archives not included in the ini will NOT be detected by the game! In some random cases, BSAReg is buggy and does not include the necessary archives in morrowind.ini. Therefore, it is better to check everything yourself. d) Making GRAPHENE and VIEW RANGE MGE XE http://morrowind.nexusmods.com/mods/41102 - An add-on that allows you to attach GRAPHENE to Morrowind, as well as several useful script functions. Separate Script Extender if MGE is not needed: http://sourceforge.net/projects/mwse/ ATTENTION! Starting with some Win7 x64 update, MWSE begins to conflict with a protection system called Data Execution Prevention (DEP), which results in constant crashes. You need to add Morrowind.exe to the DEP exclusion list! Morrowind FPS Optimizer http://www.fullrest.ru/files/fpsopt Less YOBish utility than MGE. Allows you to double the maximum viewing range relative to the original, while maintaining absolutely vanilla graphics. It also allows you to set non-standard permissions without hemorrhoids with the registry. MODS FOR MORROWIND Q: Where can I get it? A: Basic resources with mods: For owners of Rusek: http://fullrest.ru/morrowind There are a lot of translated foreign goodies, there are several good mods from Russian developers. For English lovers: 1) Planet Elder Scrolls http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=mods.list One of the first global collections of mods. Here lies a whole range of fierce wines. The local Hall of Fame is highly recommended. Cons: inconvenient navigation and search. 2) Morrowind Nexus http://morrowind.nexusmods.com/ A more recent analogue of the previous one. They have their own set of wines and a relatively dynamic addition of content. 3) Morrowind Modding History http://mw.modhistory.com/home An attempt to collect information on all mods for Morra in one place. Useful, but somewhat cumbersome. 4) Morrowind Mythic Mods http://www.mwmythicmods.com/ An extensive selection of links to plugins, grouped by topic. 1) Dead cities, characters stand still around the clock and say in copy-paste: - Morrowind comes alive (requires resources from Westly's Master Headpack, but not the mod itself), Starfire's NPC additions, Children of Vvardenfell, Adventurers 2.0, Traveling merchants, Wanderers of Solstheim. - Living cities of Vvardenfell - adds a daily schedule a la Obla to almost all vanilla NPCs. - Less Generic NPCs Series: Gives character, legends, and awesome stories to most vanilla NPCs. Modules like Pax Redoran should be installed with caution: they cut many quests. It also requires attention to the correct loading order, otherwise dialogues may appear (use mlox for this!). RUSEK IS NOT HERE! - Commanding the lower ranks of your guilds: Dracandros voice and/or Give your orders (newer, complements Dracandros quite well) 2) Dumb AI, no balance, useless skills, leveling up too quickly, turning the hero into a terminator, heaps of freebies, NO HARDCORN: - Killing freebies from alchemy, soul stones, unguarded goodies, creepers, crabs, etc.: MCP 2.0 and Morrowind patch project/GFM - Eat, spat, booze: Necessities of Morrowind (better), Primary Needs (worse) - Craft various gear : Morrowind Crafting. There is a Russian version on Fullrest! - Time spent on brewing potions, the need to put devices on the table: Advanced Alchemy (needs MWSE!) - Boom-boom when swimming in fullplay: Swimming Realism (for an amateur; tanks can quickly get fucked) - The beast weighs its desires and capabilities (except for pestilence ): Animal realism - Modular rebalancing of many aspects. - Penalty to wilt in armor, vulnerability to lightning in metal armor, etc.: Armor effects-LD - "Radiance" effect with high Unarmor (penalty from the load on the character included): Dodge Mod 1.2.- WD - Direct damage to health from fists (a la Skyrim): Hit-to-Hit Damage - Change in leveling: levels and characteristics grow on their own as skills increase, leveling slows down when approaching 100, health does not increase with leveling, but depends on Will and Endurance, etc.: Galsiah's character development (GCD). OR Madd leveler - the same eggs, only in profile. OR Balor Leveling - real hardcore with a gradual decrease in skills that have not been used for a long time. The listed mods require STARTING A NEW GAME. The version of GCD available on the Planet is old and abandoned, but the mod was completed by a company of enthusiasts. A kind anon uploaded the latest version to the delight of everyone: http://rghost.ru/52892838 - NPCs are killed when they are seriously wounded or if the hero is very strong, they know how to switch weapons in melee/ranged combat, they carry more bottles with them, they come running from all over the cave for noise (by default the latter is disabled, otherwise it can be too difficult!): horatio NPC enhanced (NEED external utility Morrowind enhanced OR MWSE with a compatibility patch downloaded separately from the Nexus) - NPCs can move between locations; enemies from the caves are pursuing the Nerevarine on the surface: Pursuit Enhanced (needs MWSE!) - Lots of new varieties of vanilla beasts: from larvae to alpha and old individuals. Nests, lairs, egg laying, broods, flocks: Real wildlife 2b complete. An even more advanced option: CreaturesX - Strengthening ashen creatures in general and Dagoths in particular: Sixth house advanced 2.1 - Reducing wearable weight (several options): Encumbrance mod - Gold has weight, it is impossible to carry millions with you: VN goldweight - Penalty when walking in ashen , pestilence and snow storms: Weather Effects 3) A fucking system for laying out objects, it is impossible to beautifully arrange your library/Dwemer artifacts/collection of cut-off Dremora pinuses: - Book rotate: the simplest, but only for books: http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com /View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=1230 - Weapons rotate: http://erstamsrealm.net/joint.htm - Decorator+ - for everything, but you need MWSE: http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php ?view=Mods. Detail&id=4256 - Improved positioning - an even more advanced version of the previous one. But again under MWSE: http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=5528 4) Boring locations, game conventions are obvious, nowhere to put money, small annoying mistakes: - Cutting off tops and ends from plants, the success of collection depends on the new skill “Herbalism”: Advanced Herbalism. Analogue without a new skill: Herbalism for purists - Bank. Deposits, interest, loans, real estate: Bank of Vvardenfell. One of the few plugins that adds non-cheat lore houses that you need to buy, and not just come and live. Perfectly complements the gold weight mod. - At night, the windows of houses glow: Windows Glow (several modules) + abot"s Windows Glow + abot"s Windows Glow TR (if Tamriel Rebuilt is installed) - Indoor lighting depends on the time of day and the weather outside: Interior Daylight from Spuzzum - NPCs say hello only when you look at them for a long time: Shut up (needs MWSE!) - Mods from abot, add animated ships, gondolas and silent striders, which you can ride yourself. Ships: http://morrowind.nexusmods.com/mods/42270 Silt Striders: http://morrowind.nexusmods.com/mods/42267 Gondolas in Vivec: http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php? view=Mods.Detail&id=9153 Riding guars (not quite finished): http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=mods.detail&id=6112 From the same author there are mods Water Life and Where all the birds are going - they add, accordingly, a large assortment of fish and birds. - More Detailed Places series: very carefully and only due to vanilla resources makes some locations a little less “sterile”. - Main quest enhancers: as the main quest progresses, the situation in the cities becomes tense. - The Lighting Mod (older) or True Light and Darkness (newer): they resaw the lighting system, which becomes softer and more natural. It also “turns off” the lights in most dungeons: if there are no torches, lamps, crystals or other honest sources of light, then the cave will be pitch dark. ATTENTION, both mods require changes to Morrowind.ini in accordance with the readme! On my own behalf, I would like to draw your attention to: - Rise of House Telvanni: a long, non-linear quest sequence for the Telvanni Archmagister with global political consequences. - Tamriel Rebuilt: a global project to restore the mainland of Morrowind. New dialogues, quests, factions. Everything is clear and neat. The eastern third of the province is ready so far, but it’s still ultra-ready. RUSEK IS NOT AND IS NOT FORESeen! - ShotN_TheReach_VorndgadForest: cuts down a piece of Skyrim where you can sail from Ebonheart. The landscape is unusual for Morra, which makes it interesting. - Solstheim Tomb of the Snow Prince by Wollibeebee - Very high-quality sawing of the Solstheim landscape with mountains, valleys and forests.
