Unexplained artifacts. Unknown archeology: artifacts of the past - mysteries of history

Oldowan tools

The most primitive human tools are called Oldowan (Oldowan) due to the fact that they were first found in the Olduvai Gorge in Tanzania.
The most ancient tools were found in Ethiopia. During excavations in the Afar Desert (central Ethiopia), tools dating back 2.5 million years were found in the Hadar area. At excavations in the Omo River Valley in Southern Ethiopia, archaeologists found tools that are about 2.4 - 2.5 million years old. Sites of ancient people were also found here.
Archaeologists consider the characteristic features of processing to be proof of the non-accidentality of chips on tools: stone trimming on one or two edges, the presence of a striking tubercle, as well as the concentration of tools in places where they could not have formed naturally.
By the way, here in Ethiopia, American archaeologists found a spear tip, the age of which was determined to be no less than 280,000 years. The tip is made of volcanic glass and is still very sharp.

Spanish petroglyphs

The most ancient rock paintings are petroglyphs found in Spain on the territory of the El Castillo and Altamira caves. Among the most ancient images are handprints, animal figures and dots. They are made with charcoal, hematite and ocher.
Scientists were able to determine the exact age of one of the palm prints, and it turned out that the drawing is 37,300 years old. The large red dot near this drawing is even older - 40,800 years old.
To determine the age of the drawings, scientists used calcite, which covered the images. The fact is that during the deposition of calcite on the drawings, radioactive uranium atoms entered the mineral, which, upon decay, form thorium. Scientists used the ratio of elements as a time clock, and calculated the time when calcite began to form.
True, archaeologists are still arguing about who exactly left the drawings - Homo Sapiens or whether they belong to Neanderthals.

Germanic ancient figurine

The oldest image of a person was found in Germany by archaeologist Nicholas Conard. This tiny female figurine, carved from mammoth ivory, was discovered in the Hole Fels karst cave in the Swabian Alb, which is located just a kilometer from the town of Schölklingen.
Figurine dimensions: 59.7 mm X 31.3 mm X 34.6 mm. Weight – 33.3 grams. The figurine was originally split into six pieces and is still missing an arm and a shoulder.
The age of the figurine was determined using radiocarbon dating, which was carried out on fragments of the remains of the animals next to which it was found. The spread of data turned out to be quite large. The age of the figurine is estimated at 44,000 years.
The author of the find, Conrad, believes that the figurine of a woman belongs to the Aurignacian culture and determines its age as 40,000 years.

Stater of Gyges

The oldest coin in the world is the Lydian stater. The coin was gold and weighed 14 grams. The historian Herodotus wrote about the Lydians: “They were the first of the people to mint coins and engage in petty trading.”
The stater was minted from 685 to 652 under the Lydian king Gyges, the founder of the Mermnad dynasty. On the reverse of the coin there was an image of a lion, personifying the capital of Lydia, Sardis, and on the obverse there were incomprehensible rectangular symbols.
Later, staters spread throughout the Mediterranean and became widespread in Persia. The image of a running fox, which has a sacred meaning, appeared on the staters.

Donetsk sundial

Sundial dating from the 13th to 12th centuries BC. were found in 2011
in the Popov Yar II burial ground, which is located north-west of Donetsk and belongs to the so-called Srubnaya culture, whose representatives were the ancestors of the Scythians.
The clock is a carved slab measuring 100 by 70 centimeters, weighing 130 kilograms, with lines and circles on both sides. Unlike conventional sundials, which use a fixed vertical gnomon, the Donetsk clock was supposed to use a movable gnomon, which took into account the angle of inclination of the Earth's axis. Moreover, the watches were made for use exactly at the latitude at which they were found. Most likely, they belonged to a young man who was buried in the mound.

Antikythera Mechanism

The Antikythera Mechanism was found in 1900 by the Greek diver Lycopanthis among the wreckage of a sunken Greek ship in the Aegean Sea. The artifact consists of several bronze gears mounted inside pieces of limestone. Scientists, using X-rays and then a tomograph, managed to find out that this is a unique mechanical calculator, with the help of which the ancient Greeks determined the day of the week, year, time, and also calculated the paths of movement of the Sun, Moon, Mars, Venus, Mercury, Saturn and Jupiter . The reverse side of the mechanism was used to predict solar and lunar eclipses.
Most likely, the ancient ship came from the island of Rhodes, where the Greek astronomer and mathematician Hipparchus of Nicaea once lived. Based on coins found at the site of the shipwreck by Jacques Cousteau, it was determined that the mechanism was created around 85 BC. It is believed that Archimedes himself invented the mechanism.

Antediluvian Shigir idol

The oldest wooden artifact was found in 1890 in the Shigir swamp in the Urals in Russia. At the second Kuryinsky mine, prospectors from under a four-meter layer of peat extracted fragments of a mysterious artifact, which went down in history as the Great Shigir Idol. In addition to him, more than 3,000 other finds were found - from arrowheads to wooden spoons and even the burial of a woman.
The larch idol is well preserved thanks to peat. Unfortunately, later the lower part was lost. The artifact is covered with geometric patterns that signify natural elements, and faces are carved on wide surfaces. It is crowned with a three-dimensional image of the head.
Now the idol is kept in the Sverdlovsk Regional Museum of Local Lore. In 1997, it began to collapse and urgent conservation was needed. Scientists decided to carbon analyze the wood. The analysis was carried out at the Institute of the History of Material Culture in St. Petersburg. He revealed that the artifact is 9,500 years old. That is, in accordance with the ideas of Christians, it could be created even before the Flood.

If you believe the myths, then throughout ancient history the world was tormented by evil ghouls and finicky gods. But people were not going to give up without a fight and fought the haters of the human race with improvised means, in particular magic. A wide variety of artifacts have reached our time, the true purpose of which modern scientists can only guess at.

1. Greek palindrome

According to legends, Cyprus is the birthplace of the Greek goddess of love and fertility, and the city of Paphos was the “headquarters” of the cult of Aphrodite. Today, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is replete with ancient mosaics and the remains of the great Mycenaean temples dedicated to the patroness of love. Recently, another miracle was found in Paphos - a 1,500-year-old clay amulet the size of a coin. On one side there is a Greek palindrome, and on the other there is a scene from myths. The palindrome reads: “Yahweh is the bearer of the secret name, and the lion Ra keeps it in his temple.”

2. Mysterious golden spirals

Gold has always been considered by people as a valuable metal. Everything was decorated with gold - from tombs to ritual figurines. Archaeologists recently discovered about 2,000 small golden spirals in a field on the Danish island of Zealand. Previously, less mysterious gold items such as bracelets, bowls and rings were found at the same excavation site.

The spirals date back to 900 - 700 BC, but that's all that is known about them. Why they were made is a mystery. Scientists suggest that the Bronze Age culture revered the Sun and attached great importance to gold, considering it the form of the sun embodied on Earth. Thus, it is likely that the spirals decorated the sacred robes of the priests.

3. Bone armor

Archaeologists in Russia have found unusual armor that was made from the bones of killed animals. Perhaps this is the work of the people of the Samus-Seima culture, whose representatives lived in the Altai Mountains in the territory of modern Russia and Central Asia thousands of years ago. At some point, they migrated to what is today the Siberian city of Omsk, where the armor, which is between 3,500 and 3,900 years old, was discovered.

Despite its age, it was found in "perfect condition." It likely belonged to some elite warrior, but archaeologists have no idea why anyone would bury such a unique item.

4. Mesoamerican mirrors

Mesoamericans once believed mirrors were portals to alien worlds. Although reflective surfaces are ubiquitous today, 1,000 years ago people worked up to 1,300 hours (160 days) to produce a typical hand mirror. Researchers have found more than 50 of these mirrors in Arizona, most of them at a dig site called Snaketown. The abundance of mirrors suggests that Snaketown was a very prosperous city that was inhabited by privileged members of society.

Unfortunately, the mirrors were in poor condition. Like other sacred things, they were subject to cremation and burial with their owners. Researchers found that the mirrors were made of pyrite and were richly decorated. Since there are no pyrite deposits in the territory of the modern state of Arizona, they assumed that the mirrors were imported from Mesoamerica.

5. Mysterious Sicilian monolith

Archaeologists recently discovered a giant monolith resembling the stones of Stonehenge underwater off the coast of Sicily. It is located at a depth of 40 meters, weighs almost 15 tons, and measures 12 meters in length. The monolith is at least 9,300 years old, making it almost twice as old as Stonehenge.

The purpose of its construction is not clear, but it is obvious that its production required Herculean efforts. What’s remarkable is that the monolith is made of stone that is not mined anywhere nearby. Today, this artifact, hiding under water, is broken into three parts, and three holes of unknown purpose were found in it.

6. Magic signs of the Tower of London

Standing on the north bank of the River Thames, the almost 1000-year-old Tower of London is a fortress that was once a palace, a repository of royal regalia and jewels, an arsenal, a mint, etc. Interestingly, this fortress dates back to its construction in 1066 year William the First, constantly had magical protection.

Archaeological researchers at the Museum of London have discovered 54 magical signs throughout the Tower. Most of them are black vertical symbols 3-7 cm in height, which were intended to reflect all forms of danger, including natural elements. Archaeologists also discovered several demon traps, including images of a grid.

7. Witch Island

The uninhabited island of Blo Jungfrun has always had a bad reputation and was considered a paradise for witches, literally since the Mesolithic era. The island is located off the east coast of Sweden and is completely isolated from the rest of the world, so it is not surprising that for 9,000 years people who practiced black magic have chosen it.

During archaeological research, caves were found bearing traces of man-made intervention, in which unknown frightening rituals were performed. All of them had altars. Servants supposedly made sacrifices on them to appease their gods.

8. Silver Scroll of Jerash

Thanks to the wonders of 3-D modeling, researchers were able to peer inside the ancient scroll to read its inscriptions without damaging the fragile relic. This small silver scroll was found inside an amulet, where it lay for over 1,000 years until it was found in a ruined house in 2014. The silver plates turned out to be very thin (only 0.01 cm), so it was not possible to unfold them without damaging them.

After recreating 17 lines from the scroll using 3-D modeling, scientists discovered an intriguing history of witchcraft. About 1,300 years ago, an unnamed sorcerer arrived in the city of Jerash to deal with some local problems. The first line of the spell on the scroll was written in a language resembling Greek, and then the text was written in a completely unknown language resembling Arabic.

9. Egyptian voodoo dolls and ushabti

Although the media usually considers voodoo dolls to be an African and Haitian invention, such figurines were first encountered in ancient Egyptian magic. The fate that befell the specially made figurine is believed to have also befallen the man in whose likeness it was made. These little effigies were made to induce various conditions, from curses to love spells.

The famous ushabti figurines were often created for these purposes, but they also had another purpose. The Egyptians knew that Osiris, the god of the dead, often used the dead for work in the afterlife. Ushabti allegedly did this work for their masters. Some exceptionally lazy but rich people were found buried with a ushabti for every day of the year.

10. Coptic book of spells

Despite the fact that the ancient Egyptians were friends with common sense, they did not hesitate to turn to magic to solve everyday inconveniences. Many of their curses were lost to history, but some survive to this day, including the 1,300-year-old Coptic Handbook of Supernatural Ritual Power. Fortunately, the 20-page booklet on parchment was written in Coptic, so scientists at Macquarie University in Australia were able to decipher it.

The codex contains 27 spells of varying usefulness, from "good", old-fashioned love spells to casting the potentially deadly black jaundice. The codex probably served as a pocket book of spells. Among other things, he describes the summoning of Baktyota - a certain mystical figure with divine powers who presides over meetings of snakes. The codex also speaks of Seth, the third son of Adam and Eve, and of Jesus. Researchers speculate that the handbook was written around the seventh century by the Sethians, a sect of Christian heretical mystics.

Today, archaeologists are finding many different ancient artifacts around the world. But particularly interesting exhibits can be found in such amazing places as.

In the Sahara Desert in Egypt lie the oldest known astronomically aligned stones in the world: Nabta. A thousand years before the creation of Stonehenge, people built a stone circle and other structures on the shore of a lake that had long since dried up. More than 6,000 years ago, three-meter-tall stone slabs were dragged for more than a kilometer to create this site. The stones depicted are only part of the entire complex that has survived. Although the Western Egyptian Desert is currently completely dry, it was not so in the past. There is good evidence that there have been several wet cycles in the past (with up to 500mm of rainfall per year). The most recent one dates back to the interglacial period and the start of the last glaciation, which was approximately 130,000 to 70,000 years ago. During this period, the area was a savannah and supported numerous animals such as the extinct bison and large giraffes, antelopes of various species and gazelles. Beginning around the 10th millennium BC, this area of the Nubian Desert began to receive more rainfall, filling the lakes. Early humans may have been attracted to the region by its sources of drinking water. Archaeological finds may indicate that human activity in the area is known from at least somewhere between the 10th and 8th millennium BC.

Chinese line mosaic.

These strange lines are located at the coordinates: 40°27"28.56"N, 93°23"34.42"E. There is not much information available about this "oddity", but a beautiful mosaic of lines does exist, it carved in the desert of Gansu Sheng Province in China. Some records indicate that the "lines" were created in 2004, but nothing officially confirming this assumption seems to have been found. It should be noted that these lines are located near Mogao Cave, which is a World Heritage Site. The lines stretch for a very long distance, and at the same time maintain their proportions, despite the curvature of the rough terrain.

Inexplicable stone doll.

In July 1889, a small human figure was found during a well drilling operation in Boise, Idaho. The find has generated intense scientific interest in the last century. Unmistakably man-made, the “doll” was discovered at a depth of 320 feet, placing it at a time long before the arrival of man in this part of the world. The find has never been disputed, but it has only been said that such a thing is, in principle, impossible.

Iron bolt, 300 million years old.

It was found almost by accident. The expedition of the MAI-Cosmopoisk Center was searching for meteorite fragments in the south of the Kaluga region, in Russia. Dmitry Kurkov decided to examine a seemingly ordinary piece of stone. What he found can change our understanding of earthly and cosmic history. When the dirt was wiped off the stone, on its chip one could clearly see... a bolt that had somehow gotten inside! About a centimeter long. How did he end up there? The bolt with a nut at the end (or - what this thing also looked like - a coil with a rod and two disks) sat tightly. This means that he got inside the stone back in the days when it was only sedimentary rock, bottom clay.

Ancient rocket ship.

This ancient cave painting from Japan dates back to more than 5000 BC.

Moving stones.

No one, not even NASA, has been able to explain this yet. The best thing to do is just watch and marvel at the shifting rocks in this dry lake in Death Valley National Park. The bottom of Racetrack Playa Lake is almost flat, 2.5 km from north to south and 1.25 km from east to west, and is covered with cracked mud. The stones move slowly along the clayey bottom of the lake, as evidenced by the long tracks left behind them. The stones move independently without the help of others, but no one has ever seen or recorded the movement on camera. Similar movements of stones have been recorded in several other places. However, in terms of the number and length of tracks, the dried-up lake Racetrack Playa is unique.

Electricity in the pyramids.

Teotihuacan, Mexico. Large sheets of mica are found embedded in the walls of this ancient Mexican city. The closest place is a quarry where mica is mined, located in Brazil, thousands of kilometers away. Mica is currently used in energy production technology. In this regard, the question arises as to why builders used this mineral in the buildings of their city. Did these ancient architects know some long-forgotten energy sources to use electricity in their cities?

Dog Death

Dog suicide on Overtown Bridge, near Milton, Dumbarton, Scotland. Built in 1859, the Overtown Bridge became famous for a number of unexplained cases in which dogs apparently committed suicide by jumping from it. These incidents were first reported in the 1950s or 1960s, when dogs—usually the long-nosed species, like collies—were observed to quickly and unexpectedly jump from a bridge and fall fifty feet to their death.

Fossil giants

The fossilized Irish giants were discovered in 1895 and measure over 12 feet (3.6 m) tall. The giants were discovered during mining operations in Antrim, Ireland. This image is from the British Strand magazine, December 1895. “Height 12 feet 2 inches, chest 6 feet 6 inches, arm length 4 feet 6 inches. There are six toes on the right foot." The six fingers and toes are reminiscent of some characters from the Bible, where six-fingered giants are described.

Pyramids of Atlantis?

Scientists continue to explore the ruins of megaliths in the so-called Yucatan Canal in the Cuban region. They have been found for many miles along the coast. American archaeologists who discovered this place immediately announced that they had found Atlantis (not for the first time in the history of underwater archaeology). Now the place is sometimes visited by scuba divers to admire the majestic underwater structures. All other interested parties can only enjoy the filming and computer reconstruction of a city buried under water, thousands of years old.

Giants in Nevada

A Nevada Indian legend about 12 foot red giants that lived in the area when they arrived. According to American Indian history, the giants were killed in a cave. During excavations in 1911, this human jaw was discovered. This is what an artificial human jaw looks like next to it. In 1931, two skeletons were found at the bottom of the lake. One of them was 8 feet (2.4 m) high, the other was just under 10 (3 m.).

Inexplicable wedge

This aluminum wedge was found in Romania in 1974, on the banks of the Mures River, near the city of Ayud. It was found at a depth of 11 meters, next to the bones of Mastodon - a giant, elephant-like, extinct animal. The find itself is very reminiscent of the head of a huge hammer. At the archaeological institute of Cluj-Napoca, where the artifact was supposedly sent, it was determined that the metal from which this wedge is made is an aluminum alloy coated with a thick layer of oxide. The alloy contained 12 different elements, and the find was classified as strange, since aluminum was discovered only in 1808, and the age of this artifact, given its presence in the layer along with the remains of an extinct animal, is determined to be approximately 11 thousand years.

"Loladoff's Plate"

The "Loladoff Plate" is a 12,000-year-old stone dish found in Nepal. It seems that Egypt is not the only place visited by aliens in ancient times. This is clearly demonstrated by the disk-shaped UFO. There is also a drawing on the disk. The character bears a striking resemblance to the aliens known as the Greys.

Pure iron alloy hammer

A puzzling mystery for science is... an ordinary-looking hammer. The metal part of the hammer is 15 centimeters long and about 3 centimeters in diameter. It literally grew into limestone about 140 million years old, and is stored together with a piece of rock. This miracle caught the eye of Mrs. Emma Khan in June 1934 in the rocks near the American town of London, in the state of Texas. The experts who examined the find came to a unanimous conclusion: a hoax. However, further research carried out by various scientific institutions, including the famous Battelle Laboratory (USA), showed that everything is much more complicated. Firstly, the wooden handle on which the hammer is mounted has already petrified on the outside, and on the inside has completely turned into coal . This means that its age is also calculated in millions of years. Secondly, specialists at the Metallurgical Institute in Columbus (Ohio) were amazed by the chemical composition of the hammer itself: 96.6% iron, 2.6% chlorine and 0.74% sulfur. No other impurities could be detected. Such pure iron has never been obtained in the entire history of earthly metallurgy. Not a single bubble was found in the metal. The quality of iron, even by modern standards, is exceptionally high and raises many questions, since the content of metals used in the metallurgical industry in the production of different types of steel (such as e.g. manganese, cobalt, nickel, tungsten, vanadium or molybdenum). There are also no foreign impurities, and the percentage of chlorine is unusually high. It is also surprising that no traces of carbon were found in iron, whereas iron ore from earthly deposits always contains carbon and other impurities. In fact, from a modern point of view, it is not of high quality. But here's a detail: the iron of the "Texas hammer" does not rust! When a piece of rock with an embedded tool was chipped away from the rock in 1934, the metal was severely scratched in one place. And over the past sixty-odd years, not the slightest sign of corrosion has appeared on the scratch... According to Dr. K.E. Buff, director of the Museum of Fossil Antiquities, where this hammer is kept, the find comes from the Early Cretaceous period - from 140 to 65 million years ago. According to the current state of scientific knowledge, humanity learned to make such tools only 10 thousand years ago. Dr. Hans-Joachim Zillmer from Germany, who studied the mysterious find in detail, concludes: “This hammer was made using a technology unknown to us.”

Highest stone processing technologies

The second group of finds that pose mysteries for scientists consists of artifacts created after the currently accepted time of the appearance of man on Earth. But the technologies that were used to create them became known to us relatively recently or are still unknown. The most famous find of this group is a crystal skull found in 1927 in Belize during excavations of the Mayan city of Lubaantum. The skull is carved from a piece of pure quartz and measures 12x18x12 centimeters. In 1970, the skull was analyzed in the Hewlett-Packard laboratory. The results were stunning. The skull was created without respecting the natural crystal axis, which is impossible in modern crystallography. No metal tools were used when working on the skull. According to restorers, the quartz was first cut with a diamond chisel, after which silica crystalline sand was used for more thorough processing. About three hundred years were spent working on the skull, which can be perceived as an incredible example of patience or recognize the use of high technologies unknown to us. One of the Hewlett-Packard experts said that creating a crystal skull is not a matter of skill, patience and time, but that it is simply impossible.

Fossil nail

However, most often objects found in rocks are similar in appearance to nails and bolts. In the 16th century, the Viceroy of Peru kept in his office a piece of rock in which was firmly held an 18-centimeter steel nail found in a local mine. In 1869, in Nevada, a metal screw 5 centimeters long was found in a piece of feldspar recovered from great depths. Skeptics believe that the appearance of these and many other objects can be explained by natural causes: a special kind of crystallization of mineral solutions and melts, the formation of pyrite rods in the voids between crystals. But pyrite is iron sulfide, and when fractured it is yellow (which is why it is often confused with gold) and has a clearly defined cubic structure. Eyewitnesses of the finds clearly speak of iron nails, sometimes covered with rust, and pyrite formations can more likely be called gold rather than iron. There is also an assumption that the rod-shaped NIOs are the fossilized skeletons of belemnites (invertebrate marine animals that lived at the same time as dinosaurs). But the remains of belemnites are found only in sedimentary rocks and never in bedrock, such as feldspar. In addition, they have a pronounced skeletal shape, and it is impossible to confuse them with something else. It is sometimes claimed that nail-shaped NIOs are molten fragments of meteorites or fulgurites (thunderbolts) produced by lightning striking rocks. However, finding such a fragment or trace left millions of years ago is extremely problematic. While one can still argue about the origin of the nail-shaped NIOs, one can only shrug at some of the finds.

Ancient battery

In 1936, the German scientist Wilhelm König, who worked at the Archaeological Museum of Baghdad, was brought a strange object that was found at the excavations of an ancient Parthian settlement near the Iraqi capital. It was a small clay vase about 15 centimeters high. Inside it was a cylinder made of sheet copper, its base was covered with a cap with a seal, and on top of the cylinder was covered with a layer of resin, which also held an iron rod directed to the center of the cylinder. From all this, Dr. Koenig concluded that in front of him was an electric battery, created almost two thousand years before the discoveries of Galvani and Volta. Egyptologist Arne Eggebrecht made an exact copy of the find, poured wine vinegar into a vase and connected a measuring device that showed a voltage of 0.5 V. Presumably, the ancients used electricity to apply a thin layer of gold to objects.

The Antikythera Mechanism (other spellings: Antikythera, Andythera, Antikythera, Greek: Μηχανισμός των Αντικυθήρων) is a mechanical device discovered in 1902 on a sunken ancient ship near the Greek island of Antiki thera (Greek Αντικύθηρα). Dating back to approximately 100 BC. e. (possibly before 150 BC). Kept in the National Archaeological Museum in Athens. The mechanism contained 37 bronze gears in a wooden case, on which dials with arrows were placed and, according to reconstruction, was used to calculate the movement of celestial bodies. Other devices of similar complexity are unknown in Hellenistic culture. It uses differential gearing, which was previously thought to have been invented no earlier than the 16th century, and has a level of miniaturization and complexity comparable to 18th-century mechanical watches. The approximate dimensions of the assembled mechanism are 33x18x10 cm.

Astronaut figurines from Ecuador

Figurines of ancient astronauts found in Ecuador. Age > 2000 years. In fact, there is a lot of such evidence, if you want, read Erich Von Denikin. He has many books, one of the most famous is “Chariots of the Gods”, it contains both physical evidence and deciphering of cuneiform scripts and so on, in general it’s quite interesting. True, it is contraindicated for ardent believers to read.

The world is full of strange and mysterious artifacts. Some are almost certainly hoaxes, while others have real stories behind them. Our review contains 10 real-life artifacts, the origin of which scientists cannot explain even today.

1. Sumerian king list

During excavations in Iraq on the territory of ancient Sumer, it was found manuscript, which lists all the kings of this state. Researchers initially thought that this was an ordinary historical document, but then it was discovered that many of the kings were mythological characters. Some rulers who should have been included in the list were not included. Others had incredibly long reigns or mythical events associated with them, such as the Sumerian version of the Great Flood and the exploits of Gilgamesh.

2. Codex Gigas (or "The Devil's Bible")

The most famous ancient manuscript is the Codex Gigas, better known as " Devil's Bible". Only 2 people can lift this book, made of 160 skins. Legend has it that the Codex Gigas was written by a monk who, after being sentenced to death, according to which the monk had to be walled up alive in a wall, made a deal with the devil. With the help The devil's monk wrote the book in one night (and the devil painted a self-portrait). Oddly enough, the handwriting in the book is surprisingly clear and uniform, as if it was actually written over a short period of time. However, scientists believe that such a work would take from 5 years (if written without interruption) to 30 years. The manuscript contains seemingly incompatible texts: the complete Latin Vulgate Bible, Josephus' Antiquities of the Jews, a collection of medical works by Hippocrates and Theophilus, the Chronicle of Bohemia by Cosmas of Prague, "Etymological Encyclopedia" by Isidore of Seville, exorcism rites, magical formulas and an illustration of the heavenly city.

3. Easter Island writing

Almost everyone knows about the famous Easter Island statues, but there are other artifacts associated with this place, the mystery of which has not been solved until now. 24 wooden carved tablets were found that contain a system of symbols. These symbols are called " rongorongo", and they are considered an ancient proto-writing form. To date, they have never been deciphered.

Typically, archaeologists argue that religion, the building of temples and the development of complex rituals, are by-products of human settlement. This belief was shaken by a discovery on the Urfa Plain in southeastern Turkey. Gobekli Tepe Temple. Its ruins may be the oldest organized place of worship known to man. The ruins of Göbekli Tepe date back to 9500 BC, meaning the temple was built 5000 years before Stonehenge.

In regions that were once under the influence of the Roman Empire, from Wales to the Mediterranean Sea, small strange objects have been found that have been called " dodecahedrons"They are hollow stone or bronze objects, 4-12 centimeters in diameter with 12 flat pentagonal faces and holes of various sizes on each side. Small handles protrude from each corner. 27 theories have been put forward as to what they are, but none none of them could be proven.

Around 6,000 mysterious artefacts have been found in rivers and marshes across Ireland and have become known as the Fulachtai Fia. In the UK, where they are also found, they are called " Burnt mounds". Fulacht fiadh is a horseshoe-shaped mound of soil and stone, in the center of which a trench filled with water is dug. Fulachtai Fia, as a rule, are found singly, but sometimes in groups of 2-6. In this case, there is always a source of water nearby. Why they were built remains a mystery.

7. Big Zayatsky labyrinth, Russia

Bolshoi Zayatsky Island, which is part of the Solovetsky archipelago in northern Russia, hides another mystery. Back in 3000 BC. not only villages and places of worship were built here, but also irrigation systems. But the most mysterious objects on the island are spiral labyrinths, the largest of which has a diameter of 24 meters. The structures are built from two rows of boulders covered with vegetation. What they were used for is unknown.

8. Witch bottles, Europe and USA

In 2014, archaeologists excavating the site of an ancient battle in Nottinghamshire made a strange discovery: they found a 15-centimeter " witch bottle"Similar vessels were used in Europe and America for black witchcraft in the 1600s - 1700s. They were usually made of ceramics or glass. In total, about 200 such objects were found, and they often contained the remains of needles, nails, nails , hair and even urine. It is believed that witch bottles were used to protect the owner from evil spells and the harmful influence of witches.

9. Lizard-like figurines of Ubaid, Iraq

Strange things are found in Iraq Ubaid figurines. They depict lizard-like and snake-like people in various poses. All figurines have abnormally elongated heads and almond-shaped eyes. Many of these figurines are found in human burials, so they are believed to mark some form of status.

10. Rat King

Several museums around the world contain strange, once-living exhibits of a legendary beast from the Middle Ages called " Rat King"A rat king is formed when several rats intertwine or grow together with their tails. The result is a kind of “nest” of rats, whose muzzles are directed outward, and in the center there is a knot of tails. The largest of such artifacts contains 32 rats. Today such mummified objects are found, but not a single living anomaly of this kind was discovered.

Scientists sometimes work for decades to solve many global problems of humanity. We have collected - from medicine to space. Perhaps these solutions will become the technologies of the future.

In Siberia, altars, sanctuaries and religious buildings of our ancestors of the 3rd – 2nd millennia BC were discovered and explored. Imagine a temple in the form of a hexagon 13 meters long, oriented along a north-south line, with a gable roof and a floor covered with bright red mineral paint, which has retained its freshness to this day. And all this in the Arctic region, where the very survival of man is called into question by science!

Now I will explain the original origin of the six-pointed star, now called " star of david"Our ancient ancestors, or according to science, the "Proto-Indo-Europeans", used a triangle to mark the pubic part of female clay figurines, personifying the mother goddess, the ancestor of all living things, the goddess of fertility. Gradually, the triangle, as well as the image of the angle, denoting the feminine principle, regardless of position of their tops, became widely used for ornamentation of pottery and other products.

The triangle, with its apex facing upward, began to denote masculinity. In India, the hexagram later became a symbolic image of the widespread religious sculptural composition Yoniling. This cult attribute of Hinduism consists of an image of the female genital organs (yoni), on which is mounted an image of an erect male penis (ling). Joniling, like the hexagram, denotes the act of copulation between a man and a woman, the fusion of the male and female principles of nature, in which all living things are born. So the hexagram-star turned into a talisman, a shield from danger and suffering. The hexagram, today known as the Star of David, has a very ancient origin, not tied to a specific ethnic community. It is found in cultures such as Sumerian-Akkadian, Babylonian, Egyptian, Indian, Slavic, Celtic and others. For example, later in ancient Egypt two crossed triangles became a symbol of secret knowledge, in India it became a talisman - " seal of Vishnu“, and among the ancient Slavs this symbol of masculinity began to belong to the god of fertility Veles and was called the “star of Veles.”

In the second half of the 19th century, the six-pointed star became one of the emblems of the Theosophical Society, organized by Helena Blavatsky, and later of the World Zionist Organization. Now the six-pointed star is the official state symbol of Israel. In the national-patriotic environment, there is a clear misconception that the six-pointed star in the Orthodox tradition and in Judaism is the same essence and the same symbol. For our Orthodoxy, this is the Star of Bethlehem, symbolizing the birth of Christ and has nothing to do with Judaism.

Also in the Siberian Subpolar region the following artifacts were found and later disappeared.

Why are artifacts hidden, why are some of them destroyed, why are Vatican For centuries, ancient books have been collected in archives and not shown to anyone, but only to initiates? Why is this happening?

The events that we hear about from blue screens, printed publications and mass media disinformation mainly concern politics and economics. The attention of the modern average person is deliberately concentrated on these two areas in order to hide from him things that are no less important. What we are talking about is detailed below.

Currently, the planet is engulfed in a chain of local wars. This began immediately after the West declared the Cold War on the Soviet Union. First the events in Korea, then in Vietnam, Africa, Western Asia etc. Now we see how the war that broke out in the north of the African continent is slowly approaching our borders; peaceful cities and villages in south-eastern Ukraine are already being bombed. Everyone understands that if Syria falls, then Iran will be next. What about Iran? Is war between NATO and China possible? According to some politicians, the reactionary forces of the West, in alliance with Muslim fundamentalists, fed by Bandera’s followers, may fall on Crimea, on Russia, and the final result will be China. But this is only the external background of what is happening, so to speak, the visible part of the iceberg, consisting of political confrontation and economic problems of our time.

What is hidden under the thickness of the invisible and unknown? And this is what is hidden: wherever military operations take place, no matter in Korea, Vietnam, Indonesia, northern Africa or in the vast expanses of Western Asia, Ukraine, everywhere, following NATO troops, American, European and Muslim warriors, an invisible army is advancing the force that is trying to rule the world.

What are these, to put it mildly, representatives of the military presence doing, if their main duty is the destruction of museums in the occupied territories? They are engaged in appropriating the most valuable things that are under the protection of states occupied by NATO troops. As a rule, after a military conflict in a particular territory, historical museums turn into a real dump of broken and confused artifacts. Into such chaos that it is difficult for even a major specialist to understand. All this is done intentionally, but the question is, where does the loot disappear, to the British Museum or other museums in Europe? Maybe to the national historical museums of America or Canada? It is interesting that the captured valuables do not appear in any of the above-mentioned establishments and therefore cannot be billed to any European country, as well as to Americans and Canadians. Question: where do things taken from the historical museum of Baghdad, Egypt, Libya and other museums where a NATO soldier or a mercenary from the French International Legion set foot end up? Now the problem of returning the gold of the Scythians of Ukraine and Crimea, whether they will return it or only part of it, remains in question, and no one is paying attention to this because of the unleashed war of the oligarchic authorities of Ukraine against their own people.

One thing is clear that all stolen artifacts go directly to secret Masonic vaults or to the Vatican dungeons. The question inevitably arises: what are the globalists and their accomplices trying to hide from the public?

Judging by what we managed to understand, the caches of the Masonic Order receive things and artifacts related to the ancient history of mankind. For example, a sculpture of the winged demon Patsutsu disappeared from the Baghdad museum; it was assumed that this demon was the image of certain creatures that came to Earth in time immemorial. What is its danger? It may be that he could suggest that people are not products of evolutionary development according to Darwin's theory, but direct descendants of aliens from outer space. Using sculpture as an example Patsutsu and related artifacts, one can conclude that Masonic bloodhounds are stealing artifacts from museums that tell about the true history of mankind. Moreover, this happens not only in the West, but also here, on Russian territory.

For example, one can recall Tisulskaya find. In September 1969 in the village Rzhavchik Tisulsky district of the Kemerovo region, a marble sarcophagus was raised from a depth of 70 meters from under a coal seam. When it was opened, the whole village gathered, it was a shock for everyone. The casket turned out to be a coffin, filled to the brim with pink-blue crystalline liquid. Beneath her rested a tall (about 185 cm), slender, beautiful woman, about thirty, with delicate European features and large, wide-open blue eyes. It looks like a character from Pushkin's fairy tale. You can find a detailed description of this event on the Internet, down to the names of all those present, but there is a lot of false information and distorted data. One thing is known that the burial site was subsequently cordoned off, all the artifacts were removed, and within 2 years, for unknown reasons, all the witnesses to the incident died.

Question: where was all this taken? According to geologists, this is the Decembrian, approximately 800 million years ago. One thing is clear: the scientific community knows nothing about the Tisul find.

Another example. On the site of the Battle of Kulikovo, now stands the Staro-Simonovsky Monastery in Moscow. At Romanovs The Kulikovo field was moved to the Tula region, and in our time, in the 30s, at the present site of the mass grave, the tomb of the soldiers of the Battle of Kulikovo who fell here was dismantled in connection with the construction of the Likhachev Palace of Culture (ZIL). Today the Old Simonov Monastery is located on the territory of the Dynamo plant. In the 60s of the last century, they simply crushed priceless slabs and tombstones with authentic ancient inscriptions into crumbs with jackhammers, and took it all out along with a mass of bones and skulls in dump trucks for garbage, thank you for at least restoring the burial of Peresvet and Oslyabya, but the real one can't be returned.

Another example. A three-dimensional map was found in the stone of Western Siberia, the so-called " Chandar plate". The plate itself is artificial, made using a technology unknown to modern science. At the base of the map is durable dolomite, a layer of diopside glass is applied to it, its processing technology is still unknown to science. The volumetric relief of the area is reproduced on it, and the third layer is sprayed white porcelain.

Creating such a map requires processing huge amounts of data that can only be obtained by aerospace photography. Professor Chuvyrov says that this map is no more than 130 thousand years old, but now it has disappeared.

From the above examples it follows that in Soviet times the same secret organization operated in the country to seal ancient artifacts as in the West. Without a doubt, it still works today. There is a recent example of this.

Several years ago, to study the ancient heritage of our ancestors, on the territory Tomsk A permanent search expedition was organized in the region. In the first year of the expedition’s work, 2 solar temples and 4 ancient settlements were discovered on one of the Siberian rivers. And all this, practically, in one place. But when a year later we went on an expedition again, we met strange people at the site of the finds. It is unclear what they were doing there. The people were well armed and behaved very brazenly. After meeting with these strange people, literally a month later, one of our acquaintances, a local resident, called us and said that unknown people were doing something at the settlements and temples we found. What attracted these people to our findings? It’s simple: we managed to find thin ceramics with ancient Sumerian ornaments both at the temples and fortifications.

Their discovery was reported in a report that was submitted to the headquarters of the Russian Geographical Society of the Tomsk Region.

The winged solar disk is found in ancient Egyptian, Sumerian-Mesopotamian, Hittite, Anatolian, Persian (Zoroastrian), South American and even Australian symbolism and has many variations.

Comparison of ornamental motifs of ancient Sumerian pictographic writing and ornaments of Siberian and northern peoples. The ancestors of the Sumerians are the Suberians, the ancient inhabitants of Siberia.

The casket opened quite simply, if a small search expedition of local local historians came across the ancestral home of the ancient Sumerians of Siberia - the ancient civilization of Siberia, then this fundamentally contradicts the biblical concept, which states that the oldest bearers of culture on Earth can only be wise Semites, but not representatives of the white race , whose ancestral home is located in northern Europe and the vast expanses of Siberia. If in Middle Ob region Since the ancestral home of the Sumerians has been discovered, then, logically, the Sumerians come from the ethnic “cauldron” of the ancestral home of the white race. Consequently, every Russian, German or Balt automatically turns into close relatives of the most ancient race on the planet.

In fact, we need to rewrite history again, and this is already a mess. It is still unclear what the “unknown” people were doing in the ruins we discovered. Perhaps they hastily destroyed traces of ceramics, or maybe the artifacts themselves. This remains to be seen. But the fact that strange people arrived from Moscow speaks volumes.
