Scandals and statements by Vladimir Zhirinovsky

Vladimir Volfovich always very sharply defends his political views, not paying attention to where he is. And in front of cameras, and in a personal conversation, Zhirinovsky behaves the same way. His scandalous statements are known. The media repeatedly circulated a photo in which Zhirinovsky pours orange juice on Boris Nemtsov (then governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region) (June 18, 1995).

Vladimir Zhirinovsky's statements, as a rule, are categorical and sometimes provocative, but bright and therefore always get into the news of most publications. At one time, the politician's video address to US President George W. Bush in 2003 was very popular, in which Vladimir Volfovich suggested that they (hit) Tbilisi together.

Zhirinovsky is no less shocking in 2017. There was a lot of excitement in the news after Zhirinovsky's promise, in case of victory in the elections, "to announce a general amnesty: political, economic, criminal, financial."

In March 2017, Zhirinovsky, speaking from the rostrum of the Duma, addressing the parliamentary majority, promised that he would shoot his opponents if he won the presidential election in 2018. State Duma Vice Speaker Sergei Neverov urged the ethics commission to pay attention to these statements addressed to his party colleagues. After that, Zhirinovsky lashed out with threats at United Russia deputies, accusing them of the fact that many of them were not rightfully in parliament, and in protest withdrew the entire LDPR faction from the meeting room.

Also in 2017, Vladimir Zhirinovsky said that it is better for Russians not to know how much ministers, deputies and governors earn. According to him, the information in the published declarations only irritates the people, and gives the press a pretext for publishing "hot news".

Vladimir Zhirinovsky proposed a radical solution to the Ukrainian issue, advocated the entry of Ukraine, Belarus into the Russian Federation on the rights of new federal districts. “Now, if I were in the Kremlin… Ukraine would not exist. The Russian army would have stood on the border where it was in the First World War. You still rejoice that Putin is in the Kremlin. After him another will come and there will be no need for negotiations - no negotiations. Everything will be done at night. As you are with Yanukovych, so are we with your entire team. And in 72 hours Russian tanks will be stationed near Brussels,” Zhirinovsky said in 2016.

Vladimir Zhirinovsky spoke out against monarchist rule in Russia. On another occasion, Vladimir Volfovich argued that Russia needed an "elective monarchy", and also insisted on the need to ban all parties existing in the Russian Federation.

“The post of president can be renamed the supreme ruler with a term of office for 6-7 years, and his elections should not be nationwide, they must be carried out by specialists - a Russian council of the best people in the country, selected according to a certain quota. And he, the supreme ruler, will appoint the governors,” Zhirinovsky summed up.

Also in 2017, LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky promised, in the event of his victory in the presidential elections in Russia in 2018, to return a number of cities to their former names, in particular, to rename Volgograd to Stalingrad. Zhirinovsky regularly denounces "the crimes of totalitarian communist regimes" in his statements.

Vladimir Volfovich suggested that Moscow needs to take a tougher line and, possibly, change the Russian Foreign Minister.

Vladimir Zhirinovsky

Childhood and family

Vladimir Volfovich's childhood passed in very poor conditions. There is not a single photo where the future politician looked like a happy person. He himself talks with surprise about those 16 square meters in which the family had to live. The Jewish roots of his grandfather - Isaac Eidelstein did not affect the nationality of Vladimir Volfovich Zhirinovsky. The boy was brought up in a Russian family.

The famous Polish industrialist Isaac, Vladimir's grandfather, his wife, daughter and granddaughter were shot during the Great Patriotic War. And, based on the biography of Vladimir Volfovich Zhirinovsky, his biological father, Wolf Eidelstein, left his family after the birth of his son. The man was often pursued by deportation from country to country. Subsequently, he repatriated to Israel, where he was buried in 1983.

Vladimir in childhood

Vladimir's mother is Alexandra Zhirinovskaya. Caring for six children did not allow the woman to get a job. After the departure of her husband, she was left without a livelihood. Therefore, two girls were taken by their aunt, Wolf's sister, and two boys were sent to the Suvorov Military School.

Vladimir and his sister stayed with their mother. In order to feed the children, the mother sends her son to a round-the-clock nursery. At a young age, the son, together with his mother, in the backyard of the house, decided to grow vegetables and have poultry. The dining room, where Alexandra worked, and the garden helped the family to somehow eat.

Soon the woman married the head of the NKVD, Vladimir Andreevich Zhirinovsky, and he became the stepfather of Vladimir Volfovich. It was under these conditions that Vladimir learned life. The boy had no prospects. He had always considered himself a lone wolf.

Career

Vladimir Zhirinovsky believed that if you make a choice, then dissatisfaction with your life is an incentive for activity. His career grew rapidly. He worked:

  • an employee of the Ministry of Justice;
  • Legal consultant of the publishing house "Mir";
  • Chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party;
  • Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation;

In January 1996, Zhirinovsky Vladimir Volfovich became a candidate for the presidency of the Russian Federation. In 2000, Zhirinovsky and Vladimir Putin take part in the presidential elections. With a huge gap in the votes, Putin won. In 2008, he again puts forward his candidacy for the presidency. However, this year was also a failure for him.

Famous politician Vladimir Zhirinovsky

Political views

Vladimir Zhirinovsky has always been distinguished by extraordinary decisions in the adoption of laws. The scandalous politician, not afraid to express his thoughts, introduced cardinal changes into the legislation of the Russian Federation. For example:

  1. Belarus and Ukraine should be part of Russia;
  2. A criminal case should be prosecuted for all politicians who failed to fulfill their election promises;
  3. Lift the moratorium on the death penalty. Another measure to combat crime is to reduce the age at which criminal responsibility begins;
  4. The termination of financing of other countries will allow expanding the economic development of Russia.

The sharp and scandalous statements of the famous politician only gave him more popularity. Zhirinovsky, first of all, cares about the Russian people. He believes that the country's personnel system simply does not have the right to exist in the future.

Scandalous statements of the famous politician Zhirinovsky

According to Vladimir Zhirinovsky, the "Petersburg mafia" has seized Russia's throat and does not intend to leave. Only statements about Prokhorov's politics are horrifying. Zhirinovsky said more than once: "Prokhorov is a homeless Krasnoyarsky with stolen money, who is nominating his candidacy for the presidency."

Ksenia Sobchak, he also noted. Without an election campaign, she runs for president and thus violates the law. “Ksenia Sobchak is a girl of glamorous parties who loves to eat black caviar,” Zhirinovsky notes. He also said that he would soon write a book about her called: "Walking".

That's how he described the glamorous girl. From here, a vertical line of terrible corruption of unqualified representatives of politics has been created.

Ksenia Sobchak and Vladimir Zhirinovsky

Vladimir Zhirinovsky was the first and only politician who was able to establish contact with Jean-Marie Le Pen's National Front. It is one of the few parties that supports Russia's policy in the Ukrainian crisis.

Court cases

In terms of outrageousness and expression on the Russian political scene, Zhirinovsky has no equal. Discussing the most pressing political issues, he never went into his pocket for a word and demonstrated strength in disputes with the weaker sex. At times, his statements made members of the State Duma laugh. For example:

  1. “We must force the government to stop the flight of birds! Let them stay in the south!”;
  2. “Look: Muslims don’t work on Friday, Jews don’t work on Saturdays, on Sunday the Orthodox rest, and on Monday there is a revolution”;
  3. “Our people smoke and drink, let them continue like that. If everyone quit smoking, they would hang themselves”;
  4. “Until my death, I will participate in the elections. Even from the cemetery I will give signals that I am lying here.”

Vladimir Zhirinovsky

During the election race, Zhirinovsky was noted for a number of eccentric antics. In the course of which several political figures sued the politician.

The first offended politician was Nikolai Levichev. Zhirinovsky, live, and later from the stands of the State Duma, said that Levichev's party was selling seats in the Federation Council for bribes. Levich was followed by humiliation against Sergei Mironov. Sergei filed a lawsuit for humiliation of personal dignity.

Levichev and Zhirinovsky in the program of Vladimir Solovyov "Duel"

The ex-mayor of the capital, Yuri Luzhkov, also joined the ranks of the “offended”. Vladimir Zhirinovsky was, as always, very straightforward. He often called the mayor and his entourage "the Moscow mafia" and publicly accused them of corruption. Luzhkov filed a lawsuit demanding to refute what was said and pay 3 million rubles. However, the claim was dismissed with the words:

“The courts are no longer yours, Yuri Mikhailovich!”

Personal life

After a failed youthful love, Vladimir Zhirinovsky closes the page of lyrical relationships and plunges into politics. “I remember a girl ran up to me with declarations of love. I understand her, but I can’t do anything, ”says Zhirinovsky. However, in one of the student camps, in 1967, he still manages to open his heart to one young girl.

In those years, Vladimir Volfovich Zhirinovsky did not have a large financial fortune. But his chosen one singled out Vladimir among all the guys for his thoughtfulness, reticence and wide mind.

Vladimir and his wife - Galina Lebedeva

1971 is the year of the birth of a new family of Vladimir Zhirinovsky. Please note that unlike other politicians, Vladimir has been married only once. Galina Lebedeva, his student love, became his life partner. She is a renowned virologist. A year later, the couple has a son, Igor. The boy was given his mother's surname.

Vladimir Volfovich Zhirinovsky tells little about the biography of children. It is known that Igor graduated from the Faculty of Law, after which he worked as an adviser to the minister in the Ministry of Labor.

Soon Igor Lebedev was elected to the State Duma from the party of his famous father. 1987 was a break in relations between Vladimir and his wife, they are getting divorced.

Vladimir Zhirinovsky and his son Igor Lebedev

In 1995, a photo of children out of wedlock appears in the biography of Vladimir Volfovich. As a result of a secret romance, in Cuba, Zhirinovsky and Zhanna Gazdarova, a boy is born - Oleg. He also admits that he also has illegitimate children. Daughter - Anastasia.

There is little information about the girl. Probably, this is due to the fact that she does not want anyone to know the status of an illegitimate child. After a while, photos of Vladimir Zhirinovsky and his wife appear, they are together again. This time they decided to get married on the day of their silver wedding.

Let's hope that the upcoming elections will be held calmly and there will be no need for the Russian Maidan, which the politician is threatening so much.

Fans of Vladimir Zhirinovsky will also be able to watch endless talent and great charisma in the play “Woe from Wit”, staged by Famusov. In it, the politician will play a major role. The premiere of the musical comedy will take place on January 18, 2018. As the famous director Nikita Mikhalkov said:

“If there was no Zhirinovsky, he would have to be invented!”

Vladimir Zhirinovsky

And indeed Mikhalkov was right. No one can repeat that emotionality in statements, unpredictability in actions and purposefulness in life, which Vladimir Volfovich Zhirinovsky possesses.

Parents of Vladimir Zhirinovsky

Zhirinovsky's grandfather - Itsek Aizik Eidelstein, a Jew, - was a well-known industrialist and respected person in the district of Kostopol (then Poland, now the Rivne region of Ukraine). He had his own woodworking factory, where 200 people worked. A railway operated on its territory, along which finished products were sent to Europe. In 1939, after the annexation of Western Ukraine to the Ukrainian SSR, the factory was nationalized. The same fate befell the house where the Eidelsteins lived with their children. And the Germans who invaded the city took out a large amount of equipment from the enterprise. In the documents of the archive for 1944, in the lists of industrial facilities destroyed by the Germans, the factory of Itsek Aizik is also listed. Eidelstein. He was also co-owner of the local Trumpeldor football team.
Zhirinovsky himself does not remember his father and knows about him only from the words of his mother.

Until 1964, Vladimir Zhirinovsky bore his father's surname - Eidelstein, and upon reaching adulthood, he took his mother's surname - Zhirinovsky, they refused to change his patronymic.

It was claimed that Zhirinovsky's father He was a lawyer by profession and graduated from the Sorbonne University in Paris. However, Zhirinovsky denied this information. At a press conference in Tel Aviv in May 2006, Vladimir Zhirinovsky said: “Journalists mocked me: ‘son of a lawyer. And I am the son of an agronomist and a merchant.”
According to Zhirinovsky, his phrase, which sounded during the 1991 election campaign: “Mother is Russian, father is a lawyer,” was the answers to two different blitz questions about the nationality of the mother and the profession of the father.
According to the book of the writer Alexander Namozov "Vladimir Zhirinovsky, a return to the origins" Wolf Eidelstein owned land and grew hops, and also managed the work of three workshops that carried out the primary processing of wood for his father's plywood factory. After the annexation of Western Ukraine, Wolf and his brother Aron were deported to Kazakhstan.

Itzek Eidelstein, his wife Rivka, daughter Reizl, granddaughter Lyuba and other relatives who remained in Kostopol at the beginning of the war were shot in the Lesnichevka tract on August 16, 1941, along with another two thousand local Jewish residents. In total, the inhabitants of 470 houses were killed.
In Kazakhstan, Wolf got married and then was deported to Poland. Then he immigrated to Israel. He was a member of the Likud political movement, worked in a company selling fertilizers and chemicals. He died in August 1983 and was buried in the cemetery in Holon.
In June 2006, according to media reports, Vladimir Zhirinovsky visited his father's grave Wolf Isaakovich Eidelstein in the cemetery of the city of Holon
August 21, 2007 Vladimir Zhirinovsky arrived on a visit to the city of Kostopol and visited the place where the house of his relatives used to be.
Mother - Alexandra Pavlovna (nee Makarova, by her first husband - Zhirinovskaya), Russian. Vladimir was her sixth child. Zhirinovsky has two brothers and three sisters.

Perhaps, to say that Vladimir Zhirinovsky is the brightest and most outstanding personality in the Russian political arena is to say nothing. This man, thanks to his statement, has long become famous far beyond the borders of Russia and the CIS.

Vladimir Volfovich has not been honored with any nicknames and titles throughout his entire political career: from an inadequate clown to a gray eminence. Some believe that he is saying impossible nonsense and absurd things, thus trying to draw attention to his LDPR party. Others, on the contrary, believe that not everything is so simple, and in fact, the government of the country speaks through the mouth of Zhirinovsky, since the top leadership cannot afford to express many things directly. But Vladimir Zhirinovsky can. But such questions are of interest to people close to the circles of power or interested in politics.

Ordinary spectators who witness bright performances, as a rule, are interested in completely different questions. Their attention is occupied by the politician's personal life, many are concerned about the question of who his wife is and how they live, what Zhirinovsky's children do and how their fate turned out.

Brawler's wife

Watching the speeches of the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party on TV, one sometimes wonders how one can live with such a loud person who loves to raise his voice and speak sharply in everyday life and how he can be kept close by every day. Vladimir Volfovich, at first glance, can give the impression of a quick-tempered and slightly unbalanced man. But there was a woman who was able to go hand in hand with him for decades. This is the only official wife of Zhirinovsky - Galina Lebedeva.

Their marriage and relationship with a stretch can be called easy and cloudless, but, despite any adversity, Galina has remained a faithful companion and ally of her husband for many years.

The history of dating and creating a family

This couple met at a fairly young age, when they were both in a summer holiday camp. They say that Galina immediately interested Vladimir. She was quite an interesting slender brunette, a student of the biological faculty of Moscow State University. For almost three years, there were just friendly relations between young people, while all the time Zhirinovsky courted Galina very gallantly. Three years after their first meeting, in 1970, Vladimir made a marriage proposal to the girl, which she accepted. They played their wedding in 1971. And exactly one year later, in 1972, the Zhirinovsky family replenished - their son Igor was born.

Non-standard marriage

Relations in this married couple can hardly be called ideal exemplary, but, despite all the difficulties, the spouses have been living together for almost 45 years. In their life together there was a period of divorce, and this happened in 1978. Vladimir and Galina got back together in 1985, and since then they have never parted. Despite the fact that the couple did not officially formalize their relationship again, on the eve of their silver wedding, as proof of warm feelings and mutual devotion, they got married in the church.

Doubtful divorce

It would seem that today you will not surprise anyone with a civil marriage. People who love each other do not have to prove their feelings in the registry office. But in the case of Vladimir Zhirinovsky and Galina Lebedeva, things are not so simple.

At a certain period of time, the press discussed the topic of the fact that it is beneficial for Vladimir Volfovich to live with his wife unofficially, since then he may not enter her income in his family's declaration. And since Zhirinovsky's wife is by no means a simple woman, then this state of affairs is only to their advantage.

A true friend is not a simple biologist

Lebedev is a biologist by profession, works at the Institute of Virology of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences and has a Ph.D. She studies the problems of HIV infection. But, despite the relatively modest income of a researcher, Galina is the owner of several country residences, Moscow apartments and seven expensive cars.

Lebedeva is also engaged in active social activities. She became the founder of the LDPR Women's Association, which solves various humanitarian issues.

and grandchildren

In a marriage with Galina, the politician had one son - Igor Lebedev. Zhirinovsky and his wife at one time gave the boy his mother's surname on purpose, so that the shadow of his father would not interfere with his life. Today, Vladimir Volfovich is proud of his offspring, because, as an adult, he fully supported the ideas of his father and continued his work.

Just like his father, Igor was attracted to jurisprudence. In 1996, he quite successfully graduated from the law academy in Moscow. Lebedev has been a member for a long time and in a few years he made a good political career:

  • was the State Duma;
  • occupied the position of an expert-specialist of the apparatus of the LDPR faction;
  • was appointed Advisor to the Minister of Labor of the Russian Federation;
  • was elected to the State Duma in 1999, 2003, 2007, 2001.

Based on such a track record, it can be concluded that Igor Vladimirovich's political career has developed quite successfully, however, just like his personal life.

Lebedev's wife's name is Lyudmila, and not too much information is known about her. In his interviews, Igor does not like to answer questions about his wife, in all likelihood, protecting her from the annoying attention of the press. It is only known that young people have known each other almost since childhood. In 1998, their twin sons were born: Alexander and Sergey. Igor says that he really wanted to name one of them in honor of his father - Vladimir, but Zhirinovsky dissuaded him from this idea. To date, both brothers are students of a prestigious boarding house at Moscow State University.

Their grandfather admits that, unfortunately, he communicates with his grandchildren very rarely, at best, once a month, because he is sorely lacking time for everything.

In one of the interviews, he confirmed that the grandfather meets his grandchildren really very rarely, at best, he congratulates them on the phone on their birthday. Basically, grandmothers pay attention to Alexander and Sergey, who have much more free time than Vladimir Volfovich. But there are other children of Zhirinovsky, which are worth talking about.

A relative from Ossetia

Despite the seemingly not quite standard, but understandable to many, the married life of a politician, it turned out that not all Zhirinovsky's children were born with his official wife Galina. And for the first time this became known in 1995. It was then that Vladimir brought a 9-year-old child to one of the local channels and told everyone that this was his son. The boy's name was Oleg, and the politician publicly admitted that he was his own father.

The story of the birth of the boy became known to the general public a little later. It turned out that Zhirinovsky met Oleg's mother, Ossetian Zhanna Gazdarova, in Cuba, where the woman worked at that time. Zhanna was a very bright and beautiful Caucasian girl. A stormy and passionate romance almost immediately began between her and the politician.

Soon she returned to Moscow, where Oleg was born. Zhanna decided to send him to be raised by her mother, who lived in the small village of Chikola in North Ossetia. It was there that Oleg's entire childhood passed, where his grandmother, Rahimat Kardanova, took care of his full upbringing.

How the father introduced his son to the whole country

At the age of 9, he met his own father. It is not known how Galina Lebedeva took this news, but the politician himself publicly recognized his son. And he did it publicly, bringing the boy with him to record the broadcast of one of the central TV channels. After leaving school, Oleg moved to Moscow to his mother. He entered Moscow State University and successfully completed his studies.

Son's wedding, which took place without the presence of his father

The press again sharply remembered and spoke about the illegitimate son of a State Duma deputy when Oleg Gazdarov was 26 years old. It was at this age that he decided to get married. His chosen one was an Ossetian - Madina Batyrova, whom he met at Moscow State University. The wedding attracted the attention of journalists, as it was celebrated on a special scale. The celebration took place in the Ossetian city of Digor. The most prestigious restaurant "Alcor" was reserved for the celebration, the employees of which admit that they have not seen such a luxurious event in the entire history of the establishment. According to the information provided at various forums, about 800 guests attended the celebration. The cost of the bride's dress was estimated at about 200 thousand rubles. There are also rumors that the rings for the young were not purchased anywhere, but from Tiffany. The rite of redemption of the bride took place without undue stinginess on the part of the groom. In general, everything spoke of luxury and the complete prosperity of the newlyweds.

It was no secret to anyone that Vladimir Volfovich took over all the expenses for organizing the celebration. Naturally, all the gathered relatives, and, of course, the newlyweds themselves, were very much looking forward to the arrival of the famous father of the groom. But the meeting never happened. Given the level of daily workload of Zhirinovsky, it is quite possible to assume that he really did not have time to attend this event, but it is quite possible that he did not consider it necessary to be there, believing that his father's duty was fully paid by paying all expenses.

Mysterious daughter Anastasia

When wondering how many children Vladimir Zhirinovsky has, one should not think that everything was limited to two recognized sons. In his numerous interviews, Vladimir has repeatedly said that he also has an illegitimate daughter. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to find detailed information about this girl in open sources. Perhaps she herself does not want to advertise her status. From the words of Zhirinovsky himself, it is only known that her name is Anastasia. In the birth certificate, her patronymic is listed in accordance with the biological father, that is, Vladimirovna. And the name of the daughter of Zhirinovsky is mother's - Petrova.

The history of Nastya's birth is not advertised in detail. At the same time, Vladimir Volfovich says that if Russian laws allowed having several wives, he would have formalized relations with Nastya's mother long ago, and Zhirinovsky's daughter herself would have bore his last name for a long time.

Interesting bills of a charismatic politician

During a certain period of time, Vladimir Volfovich actively promoted one bill in the State Duma. He was supposed to allow Russian men to have several official wives and write down all the children born in these relationships. Of course, many immediately associated this with the fact that not all of Zhirinovsky's children were born in a legal marriage.

One can relate to his political activities as a liberal democrat in different ways, one can not like his often eccentric speeches and scandalous statements, but, on the contrary, one can watch with great interest. But regardless of all factors, Vladimir Volfovich should be given undoubted credit in one thing - he never abandoned his children born out of wedlock with Galina Lebedeva. It is a pity that the general public, most likely, will never know how the official family of Zhirinovsky actually relates to such public confessions of the father and spouse.
