Work tasks:
- introduce the techniques and techniques for creating a houseplant;
- introducing children and adults to the ancient art of crocheting;
- create conditions for the formation of a new exciting hobby.

Step by step work.

I found the idea of making violets in the book “Luxurious Crochet Flowers” by Gene Cristanini and Wilma Strabello.

For manufacturing, we need: cotton or woolen threads No. 8 (you choose the color you want to see your flower: lilac, purple, pink, white), cotton or wool green threads (any shades of green for leaves), a hook that matches the yarn (No. 1.5 or 2), steel wire for attaching flowers and leaves, floral tape in a shade to match the color of your leaves and yellow beads (or orange, preferably large) at the rate of 3 beads per 1 flower.

To knit a flower, you need to dial from the appropriate threads (lilac, purple, pink or white) a chain of 5 air loops and close it into a ring. The flower knits very simply and quickly. Row 1: Insert hook into ring and work: *1 single crochet, chain 4, 1 double crochet, chain 4.

Repeat from * 4 more times and close with a half single crochet.

For the stem, take 3 yellow beads, pass them onto the wire and twist, and then pass them over 2 petals.

Weave 9 flowers.

Wrap the stem of the flower with floral tape. The leg can not be completely wrapped, as it will be placed in a flower pot.

Collect 3 flowers together, which will imitate violet inflorescences.

The sheet is also quite easy to knit. From green threads, tie a chain of 8 air loops and close it into a ring. Cut a piece of wire about 15 centimeters long and attach it to the chain of air loops. We knit the next row by tying the wire. This is necessary for the formation of the petiole of the leaf. Round 1: Inside ring, work 1 single crochet, 1 half double crochet, 3 double crochet, 4 double crochet, 4 double crochet. This is the middle of circle 1, this is what your sheet will look like.

We continue to knit the first round: 4 columns with 2 crochets, 3 columns with a crochet, 1 half crochet with a crochet, 1 column without a crochet, close with 1 half crochet with a single crochet. It looks like a sheet in which 1 circle is connected.

2nd round: 1 single crochet, 1 half crochet with snatches, 2 double crochets in one loop 3 times, 2 double crochets in one loop 3 times, 2 double crochets in one loop 3 times, 3 double crochets with 4 double crochets in one stitch, 2 double crochets in one stitch 3 times, 2 double crochets in one stitch 3 times, double crochet 2 in one stitch 3 times, 1 half double crochet, 1 single crochet, cast off 1 half-column without a crochet. This is what the linked sheet looks like.

Knit 4 more sheets. The wire and the rest of the knitting thread can be twisted together.

Wrap the petiole of the leaf with floral tape.
Now you just have to plant your violet. Choose the right flower pot. It can be filled with plaster or plasticine. If you are using plaster, then wait until it hardens well, so do not straighten the plant you have composed yet. We give natural bends to the wire. I decided to close the gypsum with expanded clay (it is used in indoor plants to retain moisture and give a decorative look.

We are looking for a suitable place for your work. I think the blooming violet was delighted with her new neighbor.

I wish you successful work. Let the time fly by unnoticed, and you will get a lot of positive emotions!

Delicate violets for true connoisseurs of indoor plants. Fans of flowering flora and all kinds of miniature plants, as well as neat compositions made from natural materials, will not only rejoice at the sight of this flower, but will admire this plant for a long time to come. Not only does it look beautiful, it also requires absolutely no maintenance! And knitted violets always look fresh and aesthetically pleasing.

To create flowers, you will need pink yarn with pieces of fur or fabric and white boucle (curly) yarn. The leaves are crocheted from an ordinary even thread of green color. We knit all the details with a thin crochet hook (1.8-2.0 mm).

We collect 6 white air loops (in. p), which we collect in a ring. With a white thread, we knit one circular row with single crochets (st. / b. N) and include a pink thread in the work.

She creates chains of 10 c. n, which we fix in every second loop of the white base. In total, you should get 5 petals (half rings).

Then we tie these petals with st. / s 1 n, thereby giving volume to our flower.

We “whitewash” its outline with white st./b. n around the circle and create the same veins between the petals.

For a small pot, 3-5 inflorescences are enough.

We knit the leaves from the usual chain, which we simply tie on all sides. Side transitions should be made smooth (do not jump sharply to the upper or lower side), otherwise the leaf will have the shape of a saucer.

It will become even due to the constant increase in the side columns (where we immediately knit 4 st / s 1 n from one loop).
In the second row, on the tip of the leaf, we make two small holes due to chains of 3 c. P.

At the end, we tie the entire sheet with st. / b. n.

Leaves will need more than flowers. This composition includes 7 green blanks, but there may be more.

Now is the time to get the supplies. It:
a jar of yogurt or a small bottle with a flat bottom;
alabaster;
copper wire for stems (from 3 mm thick);
polymer universal glue;
jute twine;
a small ball of yellow threads to create the core of flowers.

We wind a small hank of yellow yarn and fasten it in the middle by double-rolling the wire. Then we twist both ends of it together, making an elastic and stable stem.

We thread this stem with a voluminous yellow end into a flower and completely “green it”.

We also fix the sheet on the wire, the ends of which are again twisted together.

Each stalk should be wrapped with green thread (as tightly as possible) and always to the very end.

Then you need to prepare a pot to fill it with liquid alabaster and "plant" flowers.

You will need

Yarn 1 (50% cotton, 50% acrylic; 50g/150m); yarn 2 (100% polyester; 50 g/95 m);
ceramic pots with a diameter of 5 cm and cotton wool as a filler;
green decorative or steel wire;
hook number 2.5.

    We collect a chain of five air loops and knit the SS, thereby forming a ring.

    • 1 row: 3 VP, 5 SSN, 3 VP, 5 SSN, SS;
    • 2 row: 1 VP, * in a loop 2 RLS * - five times, under the air loops we knit 2 PSSN, 3 VP, 2 PSSN, * in a loop 2 RLS * - five times, 5 VP, SS. Without cutting the thread, we collect 5 VP and knit along this chain, starting from the third loop 3 SS. We cut the thread.

    Crochet violet flower

    In the ring we knit with white yarn 2 VP, 9 PSSN and tighten it, we knit the SS with lilac yarn.

    In the next loop we knit SS, 2 VP, 2 dc, 1 VP, 2 dc, 2 VP, SS and in the next loop we knit SS. The first petal is ready.

    Each petal starts and ends with SS. We knit SS between them (it turns out that the petals are knitted through one loop). The rest are knitted similarly to the first.
