How to make linen flax. Flaxes (linen chips or gozinaki) Master class in photo

Finally, my hands reached the section with flax, I have long wanted to write a review, and here it is.

I have been using flax for many years, mostly I take it, of course, for food, but at the same time I also use it for beauty.

Flax is not an expensive product, and very useful, especially for women. I won’t talk much about its benefits, you can find it yourself =)

The most common linen is brown (dark), there is also white. But I never tried it, only white linen urbech, but there was a suspicion that it was not raw, but fried, so I have no idea what it tastes like raw.

Flax prices vary everywhere. If you buy on the market by weight, it's not expensive. This year I was vacationing in Ukraine with relatives, because flax is generally cheap there, about 9-10 rubles per kg, if taken by weight.

Naturally, I took some with me.

Daily consumption of seeds in the amount of 25 grams will help restore all the losses of nutrients, for the full functioning of the body. This is a natural and high-quality product that does not cause harm if used correctly.

Linen is universal in everything. It is not only tasty and you can cook various goodies from it, but it is also suitable for personal care.

It has such a feature - it is slippery if it comes into contact with water. For some, this is a repulsive property.

At first, I was also not used to it, but soon I got used to it and take this property calmly.

By the way, green buckwheat also has this feature, but its mucus is not so thick.

Flaxseed can be ground or taken whole.

I take it whole, because it's much more useful. When I soak them, they germinate and are nourished, become alive.

I take the required amount of seeds, first I wash them, then soak them overnight. By morning they are already nourished, and in "mucus". You can already make bread in this form, but you can wait a day or until the evening, then they will already begin to sprout. Although the difference is not great, they are already revitalized when nourished.

If you want to sprout them, then you will need to transfer them to a wide plate in a thin layer.

For bread, the consistency of the seeds should be thick.

You can add anything to them, you can make them sweet.

I have dried tomatoes, dried bell peppers, dried herbs, and I add all this to the composition.

1. I take flax seeds already soaked and ready for further action.

Of course, they don’t look appetizing, but that’s what flaxseed is for))

2. I rub the garlic finely (to taste). It is worth noting that when the breads dry out, the smell of garlic is not so strong. I add the garlic to the previously soaked flax and mix.

3. I add pink salt.

4. I partially crush the dried tomatoes with my hands, and grind the bulk in a coffee grinder along with dried bell pepper.

It turns out spicy flour.

I mix all this thoroughly with flax.

5. I add dried herbs to taste. You can also add other seeds, but I do it purely from flax.

6. I spread it on a ceramic surface. You can lay out an even mass, and immediately divide it into pieces, or you can lay it out partially.

I send all this to the battery, for about an hour or two, while the top layer partially dries.

7. Be sure to turn them over, otherwise they will stick, and then they will have to be scraped off. I turn them over, about when the top layer is partially dry, it takes an hour or two, depending on how the batteries are scalded.

8. They dry pretty quickly, by the morning I'm already ready)) And it can take 4-5-6 hours for everything.

You can do it in the oven and in the pan, but as for me it is much more convenient and useful.

Crispbread, and they are also called Flaks, perfectly replace bread, well, and other annoying crispbread, I think fans of chips will like it too))

I just love them, in this form, they fly away just instantly! Once and for all - no, they ate)) Delicious and crispy.

Most people on the planet have become adherents of a healthy diet, as they appreciated the importance of their own health. Eating right is not as difficult and expensive as it seems at first glance. The basis of this principle is made up of ordinary natural products, which you only need to be able to cook correctly. Flax crackers or flax are new to the consumer market. They can be purchased ready-made in many stores, however, many are wondering how to make linen fluxes on their own, so as not to overpay extra money, what components are included in their composition and what is their use.

The chemical composition of flaxseeds

We can talk about the benefits of fluxes based on the substances and trace elements that make up their composition for a very long time.

There is no cholesterol in these crackers, and thanks to healthy Omega-3 fats, they are recommended for people with heart and vascular diseases, as well as for normalizing and activating the brain.

Flaxseeds should be consumed by people who face heavy mental stress, as the B vitamins and vitamin A they contain support the brain system and are responsible for muscle tone.

They are also often prescribed to diabetics, because the flaxes are rich in fiber, which is necessary for the full regulation of blood sugar levels. People who are intolerant to gluten or suffer from chronic bowel disease can replace bread with these crackers.

For those who care about their appearance and skin condition, flax fluxes are a must-have product, because they contain a huge amount of antioxidants that prevent the aging process. Based on such benefits and beneficial effects on the body, everyone who cares about their health should find out what linen flaxes are and the recipe for their manufacture.

In stores, flax crackers are sold with various additives, which is why their calorie content and chemical composition may vary slightly. The energy value of the flax product is from 470.9 to 503.6 kcal. 100 grams of linen flax contains approximately:

In addition, they contain zinc, calcium, iron, potassium, magnesium and selenium.

To whom linen flaxes are contraindicated

It would seem that the seeds from which flaxseeds and crackers are made are useful for absolutely all people, however, this substance has its own contraindications:

  1. Flaxseed crackers should be taken with great caution by pregnant and lactating women. In medicine, there have been almost no experiments on the nature of the effect of flax seed on the fetus and the body of the newborn. This product can affect the tone of the uterus, which is a threat to early pregnancy. The fatty acids that make up the fluxes are not able to be digested by the newborn, so they adversely affect its emerging gastrointestinal tract.
  2. People suffering from various bowel diseases should start taking flaxseeds and flaxseeds very carefully, because they can cause bloating and excessive gas formation.
  3. Flax crackers are known for their strong choleretic effect, so they are not recommended to be included in the diet during exacerbation of cholecystitis, pancreatitis, colitis, as well as stones in the urinary and gallbladder.

Many nutritionists and scientists argue that products based on flaxseed can be very dangerous to health, because it oxidizes very quickly under the influence of oxygen. As a result of this process, the seed releases a real poison - cyanide.

Therefore, it is better not to overdo it with the intake of flaxseeds and weigh the benefits and harm that they can cause to the body.

Linen flaxes in the home kitchen

Every self-respecting housewife cares about the health of her family and tries to cook wholesome and healthy food. Thanks to simple recipes, making linen flaxes in your own kitchen is very simple, because this process does not require special skill and preparation. To do this, you can use the following most popular recipes:

Flax crackers with spices

This recipe is the simplest, but takes a long time to cook. For their preparation it is necessary:

  • half a cup of brown flax seeds;
  • a quarter cup of white flax seeds;
  • 300 ml of water;
  • favorite spices.

All flax seeds need to be infused in water for about 15 minutes with the addition of spices. Dry garlic works best for this. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the whole mixture on it and spread evenly. It must be dried in the oven for an hour at a temperature of 180 degrees. The dried cake should be turned over and kept in the oven for another half hour. When the substance hardens, it can be taken out and cut into small pieces in the form of crackers.

Linen flax mix

Flaxseed crackers can be varied with various additives that will give them piquancy, a pleasant taste and aroma. For this dish you will need:

  • 200 gr. white or brown flax seeds;
  • glass of water;
  • 3 tbsp. l. chia seeds, pumpkin and sunflower;
  • 1 tsp with a slide of salt;
  • 1 st. l. honey.

In advance, you need to heat the oven to 120 degrees and prepare a baking sheet by laying parchment paper on it. Flax and chia seeds must first be soaked in water for 15 minutes. After that, mix the remaining ingredients with the substance until a mushy dough is obtained. The mixture laid out on a baking sheet should be baked for an hour and a half. If during this time the fluxes are not dried to the desired degree, they can still be kept in the oven. After cooling, cut the solid sheet into small pieces.

To maintain your body and saturate it with useful substances and microelements, you definitely need to find out what flaxseeds are and the recipe for making them at home.

Instructions for the use of linen flax

Surprisingly, this product has its own instructions for use. According to her, this product is prescribed for obesity, diabetes, heart failure and vascular diseases, as well as to improve food digestion and optimize the metabolic process. They need to be eaten three times a day, adding to breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Flaxseed flax is not just a type of snack or treat, it is also a product that is prescribed by many doctors as an accompanying ingredient in nutrition for various diseases.

There are contraindications, consult your doctor.

Recently, eating healthy food has become fashionable. People have become concerned about their diet and lifestyle, so many food manufacturers have begun to bring healthy foods to the market. One example is linen flax. These are crackers that consist of flaxseed and some additives used to improve the taste of the product.

Health benefits of flaxseed

Flax flaxes are delicious, and this fact alone is enough to love the product. But they are also good for health. Flax contains a lot. This means that flaxseed crackers may well be a substitute. Omega-3 fatty acids are beneficial because:

  • improve memory, attention, promote the development of intelligence;
  • improve the rheological properties of blood, therefore, reduce the likelihood of blood clots in the vessels;
  • reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke;
  • slightly reduce blood pressure;
  • reduce the concentration of cholesterol in the blood;
  • reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes, as they improve the sensitivity of receptors to insulin;
  • enhance the production of sex hormones;
  • improve mood, useful for the prevention of depression and stress;
  • reduce pain and inflammation;
  • increase physical strength, vigor, endurance;
  • tone the central nervous system;
  • accelerate the rehabilitation of patients after serious illnesses or surgical interventions.

The diet of a modern person lacks omega-3 polyunsaturated acids. Therefore, the use of linen flax will certainly benefit you, unless you live in a coastal region, and if oily fish is not a regular guest on your table. While flaxseeds are not cheap, they are still more affordable than most omega-3 supplements.

We also note that flax crackers contain a lot. Therefore, they are useful for constipation.

Linen flaxes are quite a satisfying product. They can satisfy your hunger if you are far from home. The manufacturer points to another advantage of crackers, stating that they do not contain cholesterol. But this quality is hardly worth considering as an advantage, since cholesterol is found only in animal products.

Benefits of flaxseed for weight loss

Flaxseeds do not help in losing weight. Moreover, they can cause. This product is very difficult to call dietary. Flaxseed flaxes are more than a third fat. Their nutritional value is about 500 kcal per 100 grams. Even pure sugar, which is considered a catastrophically harmful product for the figure, has a lower calorie content than flaxseed.

“But omega-3 acids are healthy fats,” the reader will object. Yes it is. Omega-3 acids are really good for health. Moreover, they are useful for the figure. But omega-3 fatty acids only help you lose weight if you're going to replace other fats with them. In the case of linen fluxes, this is unlikely.

Agree that eating crackers, you are unlikely to give up pork, sunflower oil, cheese and mayonnaise. You're not going to cook by pouring flaxseed flakes into a frying pan, are you? And you can’t fill a salad with crackers. Therefore, you will receive omega-3 fatty acids in addition to other fats, and not instead of them. They will benefit health, but if you are prone to fullness, do not abuse linen flax.

Omega-3 fatty acids are good for health. How useful are other nutrients, because without them a person cannot exist. Nutritionists scold and for the fact that they get fat. But only those people who consume these nutrients in excess quantities gain mass. The same is true for omega-3 fats. If their appearance in the diet leads to an increase in the overall diet, you will get better, despite the usefulness of polyunsaturated fatty acids for the body.

Where to buy linen flax?

Linen flax is sold in health food stores and grocery supermarkets. They can be ordered online. The price is about 200 rubles for 150 g. Is it expensive or cheap? If you think that flaxseeds are crackers that should be consumed only for enjoyment by irritating the taste buds, this is a little expensive.

But let's imagine that flaxseeds are a source of omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids. A package of crackers contains approximately 30 g. Why? It's not hard to calculate. 100 g of flaxseed, according to the information on the package, contains 40 g of fat, which is half linolenic acid. Therefore, 150 g of crackers contain 60 g of fat, 30 g of which are omega-3 acids.

And how much money do you need to pay to buy such a quantity of polyunsaturated fatty acids in a pharmacy? The cheapest drug, fish oil produced by Ruscaps, costs 100 rubles for 30 capsules of 0.5 g each. That is, for 200 rubles we get 15 g of fat, of which only 30% (5 g) are omega-3 unsaturated fatty acids. It turns out that crackers are 6 times cheaper. If you take an expensive drug, such as linen flaxes, it will be ten times more profitable.

True, according to the same indicator, crackers are inferior to linseed oil. It is less expensive if considered solely as a source of omega-3 fatty acids. At the same time, it is obvious that linen flaxes are much tastier. Not every person is ready to drink vegetable oil from a bottle for the sake of economy.

Hello again ... Ka and promised, I share my experience in making healthy goodies!

I made a sweet treat so that instead of sweets and with tea you could nibble.

Variant with apple, orange, honey and cinnamon

1. I poured boiling water over the flax seed (about 3 tbsp) and mixed it ... For 15 minutes, the mixture was infused and turned into jelly thick (added a little more water as needed). At this time, I grated an apple (1/2 of a medium size) on a fine grater and zest from a whole orange, and squeezed juice from half of this orange.

Turned on the oven on the heating mode top + bottom + convection and 70-75 degrees

Then the most interesting begins ... In the recipe, which was given earlier, it is indicated that 1 hour on one side + 40 minutes on the other is enough ... NIFIGA !!! I have this mixture stood for more than 2 hours only on one side ... BUT !!! Here I realized the jamb ... It was not necessary to put the parchment in a baking sheet, but it was necessary just on the grate, because the sheet got wet from moisture and could not dry from below, and there would be a more ventilated space on the grate ... Well, most likely also because that the pulp of an apple + orange zest gave even more moisture ... As a result, I tore off a semi-moist sheet of the mixture for 10 minutes, respectively, it tore from me and I transferred it to the foil (with the dried side) on the wire rack. And ... As a result, I removed the temperature regime to 0, and left the fan on FOR THE WHOLE NIGHT!!!

As a result, in the morning it turned out to be an awesome delicacy, though not as beautiful as on sale, but much tastier ... The kids ran into this yummy like candy ... As for the taste and its consistency, not quite crunchy like crackers, they are more like gozinaki with an admixture toffee ... But in terms of taste, I liked it much more than those that I bought with the taste of apple and cinnamon

All the best to everyone! Your Nastena

But, unfortunately, little is known about how these seeds can be beneficially and tastefully introduced into their usual diet. Today we will prepare flax flaxes - these are breads made from flaxseeds with the addition of other natural and healthy ingredients.

We will cook linen flaxes in, it allows you to dry products at low temperatures, which retains vitamins and beneficial properties in them. Thus, our linen bread will be raw food.

Ingredients:

Flax seeds - 1 cup;

Raw sunflower seeds - 1 cup;

Onions - 2 pcs;

Salt, spices - to taste

We grind flax seeds in a coffee grinder to flour. Pay attention - what smell is formed after grinding them - the smell of fish oil! That tells you how much these seeds have!

Pour into a container where we will knead the dough for the fluxes.

Peel the onion and cut into large pieces to put in a blender. Then we puree it. Add the seeds to the onion in parts and also pierce them with a blender along with the onion mass. We send the entire contents of the blender to flaxseed flour.

Mix everything thoroughly. Add salt and your favorite spices. Some add vegetable oil to such bread, in my opinion, it is superfluous here, seeds already give a strong fat content.

After thorough mixing, it remains to form our fluxes. For their preparation, baking paper (parchment) is needed. Another great cooking option is to use nori seaweed instead of parchment, which will eventually stick to one side of the flakes and give that extra savory flavor. I like the second option, it seems to me tastier, but if there is no nori, then use baking paper. Spread parchment paper on the dehydrator tray and cut to desired width.

Then, using a spoon, lay out the resulting mass. The thinner you can make the layer, the better, as this will dry the fluxes faster. We have a thickness of 3-4 mm. Then, with the help of a spatula, we form grooves - divisions along which we will break off ready-made flax loaves.

If you are cooking on nori, then spread the dough on this sheet, not forgetting the division.

We turn on the dryer. The temperature regime is 40 degrees. Fluxes dry for about 18 hours, you can control this process yourself. If desired, they can be turned over and dried on the other side. After sufficient drying, we take out the linen fluxes and break them into portioned pieces.
