The Quran is all about scripture. Reading the quran is a way to learn arabic

1. Ya. Syn.
2. I swear by the wise Quran!
3. Verily, you are one of the Messengers
4. on a straight path.
5. He was sent down by the Mighty, the Merciful,
6. that you warn people whose fathers no one warned, because of which they remained careless ignoramuses.
7. The Word has come true concerning most of them, and they will not believe.
8. Verily, We have put fetters on their necks up to the chin, and their heads are lifted up.
9. We set up a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and covered them with a veil, and they did not see.
10. They don't care if you warn them or not. They don't believe.
11. You can only warn those who followed the Reminder and were afraid of the Merciful, not seeing Him with their own eyes. Rejoice him with the news of forgiveness and a generous reward.
12. Verily, We revive the dead and record what they did and what they left behind. Every thing We have counted in a clear guide (of the Preserved Tablet).
13. As a parable, bring to them the inhabitants of the village, to whom the messengers came.
14. When We sent two messengers to them, they considered them liars, and then We reinforced them with a third. They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to you."
15. They said: “You are the same people as we are. The Merciful One did not send down anything, and you are only lying.”
16. They said: “Our Lord knows that we have indeed been sent to you.
17. Only the clear communication of revelation is entrusted to us.”
18. They said: “Indeed, we have seen in you an evil omen. If you do not stop, then we will certainly beat you with stones and you will be touched by painful sufferings from us.
19. They said: “Your evil omen will turn against you. Do you consider it a bad omen if you are warned? Oh no! You are people who have crossed the boundaries of what is permitted!”
20. From the outskirts of the city a man came in a hurry and said: “O my people! Follow the messengers.
21. Follow those who do not ask you for a reward and follow the straight path.
22. And why should I not worship the One who created me and to whom you will be returned?
23. Shall I worship other gods besides Him? For if the Merciful wishes to harm me, their intercession will not help me in any way, and they will not save me.
24. Then I will be in obvious error.
25. Verily, I have believed in your Lord. Listen to me."
26. He was told: “Enter Paradise!” He said, "Oh, if only my people knew
27. why my Lord forgave me (or that my Lord forgave me) and that He made me one of the honored!”
28. After him, We did not send down any army from heaven against his people, and We did not intend to send down.
29. There was only one voice, and they died out.
30. Woe to the slaves! Not a single messenger came to them that they did not mock.
31. Do they not see how many generations We destroyed before them, and that they will not return to them?
32. Verily, all of them will be gathered from Us.
33. A sign for them is the dead earth, which We revived and extracted from it the grain on which they feed.
34. We made gardens of palms and vines on it and made springs flow in them,
35. that they eat their fruits and what they have created with their own hands (or that they eat fruits that they have not created with their own hands). Won't they be grateful?
36. Exalted is He Who created in pairs what the earth grows, themselves and what they do not know.
37. A sign for them is the night, which We separate from the day, and now they are plunged into darkness.
38. The sun sails to its place. Such is the arrangement of the Mighty, the Knower.
39. We have ordained positions for the moon until it again becomes like an old palm branch.
40. The sun does not have to overtake the moon, and the night is not ahead of the day. Each floats in orbit.
41. A sign for them is that We carried their offspring in an overflowing ark.
42. We created for them in his likeness what they sit on.
43. If We will, We will drown them, and then no one will save them, and they themselves will not be saved,
44. unless We show them mercy and allow them to enjoy benefits until a certain time.
45. When they are told: “Fear what is before you and what is after you, so that you may have mercy,” they do not answer.
46. Whatever sign of the signs of their Lord comes to them, they will surely turn away from it.
47. When they are told: “Spend from what Allah has given you,” the disbelievers say to the believers: “Shall we feed the one whom Allah would feed if He wished? Verily, you are only in apparent error.”
48. They say: “When will this promise come true if you are telling the truth?”
49. They have nothing to look forward to, except for one voice that will strike them when they quarrel.
50. They will not be able to leave a will or return to their families.
51. The horn will be blown, and now they rush to their Lord from the graves.
52. They will say: “Woe to us! Who raised us from the place where we slept? This is what the Merciful promised, and the messengers spoke the truth.”
53. There will be only one voice, and they will all be gathered from Us.
54. Today, no injustice will be done to a single soul, and you will be rewarded only for what you did.
55. Verily, the inhabitants of Paradise today will be occupied with pleasure.
56. They and their spouses will lie in the shadows on the beds, leaning against.
57. There is fruit for them and everything they need.
58. The merciful Lord greets them with the word: “Peace!”
59. Separate yourself today, O sinners!
60. Haven't I commanded you, O sons of Adam, not to worship Satan, who is your open enemy,
61. And worship Me? This is the straight path.
62. He has already deceived many of you. Don't you understand?
63. Here is Gehenna, which was promised to you.
64. Burn in it today because you did not believe.
65. Today We will seal their mouths. Their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will testify to what they have acquired.
66. If We will, We will deprive them of their sight, and then they will rush to the Path. But how will they see?
67. If We will, We will disfigure them in their places, and then they can neither move forward nor return.
68. To whom We grant long life, We give the opposite form. Don't they understand?
69. We did not teach him (Muhammad) poetry, and it is not befitting for him. This is nothing but a Reminder and a clear Quran,
70. that he should warn those who are alive, and that the Word might be fulfilled concerning unbelievers.
71. Do they not see that out of what Our hands (We Ourselves) have made, We have created cattle for them, and that they own them?
72. We made him subject to them. They ride on some of them, and feed on others.
73. They bring them benefit and drink. Won't they be grateful?
74. But they worship other gods instead of Allah in the hope that they will be helped.
75. They cannot help them, although they are a ready army for them (the pagans are ready to fight for their idols, or the idols will be a ready army against the pagans in the Hereafter).
76. Don't let their words make you sad. We know what they hide and what they reveal.
77. Can't man see that We created him from a drop? And here he is openly bickering!
78. He gave Us a parable and forgot about his creation. He said, "Who will revive the bones that have decayed?"
79. Say: “The One Who created them for the first time will revive them. He is aware of every creation."
80. He created a fire for you from a green tree, and now you kindle a fire from it.
81. Is He Who created the heavens and the earth not able to create like them? Of course, because He is the Creator, the Knower.
82. When He desires something, it is worthwhile for Him to say: “Be!” - how it comes true.
83. Exalted is He in Whose Hand is power over every thing! To Him you will be returned.

The Koran or, as it is also called, Al-Kur'an is a sacred book for every Muslim, recognized as the uncreated Word of God, a copy of the Tablet stored in heaven and created even before the creation of the world. Today, the most reliable is Quran in Arabic, because it was originally written on it, which means it does not contain translation inaccuracies.

In accordance with the teachings of Islam, the Koran is a full-fledged continuation and replacement of two more ancient revelations: the Torah and the Gospel. By the way, I will mention my knowledge of Arabic, in which the names of the revelations sound like Taurate and Injile.

Although the Holy Scriptures of Muslims are absolutely not like the Bible, there are references to the prophets from the Old Testament and Jesus Christ in it. From its pages, people learn about the story of Adam and Eve, about Cain, who killed his brother Abel, about Noah's ark, about Moses, Abraham, Ismail, Solomon and other prophets, prophets not known to Christians are also mentioned: Shuyab, Zul-Qarnayn, Salih and Zul -Kifl.

The Holy Quran is the Word sent down by God, and not a story about Him. It was transmitted through the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in Arabic. It is believed that for many centuries the text of the Koran in Arabic has not changed and still remains unchanged, although many question the accuracy of the presentation, which I will mention below.

Al-Kur'an can be called the cornerstone of the Muslim world, because it is the basis of the state, legal, social and economic structure of countries. To live according to the Koran is to follow the will of the Almighty, and the ideal society is one in which all prescriptions are observed. God is one and only, he is omniscient and omnipotent.

Allah repeatedly sent prophets to people, but no one was heard to the end, and the Koran is the last chance for people to submit to the will of the Almighty.

How did the Arabic Quran appear, and why is there so much controversy around it?

The name of the holy book comes from the word "kara`a", which means "read" in Arabic. Muslim mythology says that the Word was transmitted to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) through Jabrail, one of the heavenly archangels.

However, the Prophet himself did not write down the sermons, as he was not literate and considered the oral transmission of knowledge more reliable. Instead, the students did it, they wrote down the sayings on everything that came to hand: pieces of skin, bones, leaves and parchment, memorized speeches by heart and passed them on to people.

Forty people are mentioned in historical sources as writing down the revelations. However, during the life of the prophet, a single collection did not appear, perhaps because there was simply no need for it.

Later, all the records were still listed in one book, but without any systematization. The first copy of the scripture was called "Muskhaful-iman" and was kept by Hafsa, the wife of the prophet and daughter of the first caliph Abu Bekr. Interestingly, outside of Arabia, disputes immediately broke out about the accuracy and order of the narration, but the Arabs did not have a shadow of a doubt, it was known to everyone there.

Although it is considered that Quran in Arabic never corresponded, but scientists have their own opinion.

  • Firstly, the Quran is a work of many authors, which is confirmed by the lack of a single style, in order to understand this, one does not need to be an expert, it is enough just to read the texts.
  • Secondly, it has been established that the final edition of the Koran in Arabic appeared under Caliph Osman, who ruled in 644-656. In those days, a lot of work was carried out, during which the editorial commission streamlined the Koran as a collection of mandatory religious and everyday rules.

The rest of the collections, even those collected by the relatives of the prophet, were burned. When the Qur'an of Osman was completed, each member of the commission, assembled from the close associates of the prophet, swore that all parts of the text were arranged and presented correctly.

If today you decide to buy the Quran in Arabic, it will definitely reproduce this particular canonical text. I suggest watching a very interesting documentary film about the Holy Scriptures:

The structure of the Quran in Arabic: verses and juz

The Qur'an consists of 114 suras (they are also called "juz"), that is, chapters, each of which is endowed with a special meaning and conveys a revelation consisting of verses or verses (signs, miracles). In modern editions they are numbered, but traditionally marked. One of the most important suras is Al-Fatiha (Opening). It summarizes the content of the Qur'an and is sung by believers during the five daily prayers (namaz).

Often the thoughts and suggestions contained in one chapter do not agree with each other and do not even correspond to the title of the chapter. Perhaps this is due to hasty editing and omissions, or the deliberate destruction of portions of Scripture. For example, the second sura is called Al-Baqarah (translated from Arabic as "The Cow"), but the title is in no way justified by the content.

Of the 286 verses that form the second chapter, the word "cow" is accidentally mentioned in only four. That is, the name does not at all correspond to the text, which tells about the basic principles of religion. And half of the suras were named after the first word they begin with. As a rule, these words also do not reflect the content.

Traditionally, it is customary to prefix the names with the name of the place where the revelations were sent down: in Mecca or Medina. Meccan suras are often short, dynamic and emotional. The Medina suras are more prosaic, containing information about the worldly affairs of the Muslim society.

On the Stylistic Features of Holy Scripture

The condensed and figurative style of the Qur'an is beyond comparison. Often in one sura it contains different rhythmic patterns, abrupt transitions from one topic to another and from the first person to the third person, repetitions of what has already been said and allusions to subsequent chapters.

The rhymed passages do not coincide with the poetic metrics of the Arab countries, so they cannot be called poetry, but they are not prose either. Quran in Arabic- this is not an ordinary literary text, but a creation unique in its kind, it is absurd to expect from it the usual European turn with a climax and a denouement. Each reader must himself be imbued with the deep meaning of Scripture.

As early as the 10th century, the special style of the Koran was defined as ijaz, expressing its incomparability. The Quran has not yet been 100% translated, therefore, regardless of nationality, Muslims must be able to read the holy book in the original. Of course, for a more complete understanding, you can use ready-made translations, but the translation of the Quran is only a subjective attempt by the translator to explain his own understanding and vision.

It is not enough to buy the Koran in Arabic, you need to be able to read and understand it!

It is correct to read the Qur'an - not pronouncing each sound, but singing it (awaz). There are seven ways of reading the Scriptures, called kyrats, they concern exactly the pronunciation, but practically do not affect the semantic accents. I myself studied beautiful reading for a long time, and even made some progress. But, most of all I love the beautiful reading of the Arabists. Listen for yourself, isn't it wonderful?

The Holy Quran will always be relevant and in demand among believers, because time has no power over the Word of the Almighty, it refers to the essence of a human being and cannot be changed.

Choose Quran in Arabic!

Peace to your home! Sincerely, Ali Askerov.

Everything that exists in the Universe and everything that happens in it is connected with the Koran and is reflected in it. Mankind is inconceivable without the Quran, and all science, in the true sense of the word, is only a small fraction of the knowledge contained in the Holy Quran.

Mankind is inconceivable without the Quran and therefore the hearts of people freeze when they hear this beautiful word.

People want to know more about the Quran and are looking for everything related to it.

With the advent of the Internet in the search lines, millions of people are typing the words: Quran, Quran + in Russian, download Quran, listen to the Quran, language of the Quran, reading the Quran, read the Quran, Quran + in Russian, suras + from the Quran, translation of the Quran, online Quran, Quran free, free Quran, Quran Mishari, Rashid Quran, Mishari Rashid Quran, holy Quran, Quran video, Quran + in Arabic, Quran + and sunnah, Quran free download, free Quran download, Quran listen online, Quran read + in Russian, beautiful Quran, Quran interpretation, Quran mp3 etc.

On our website, everyone will find the necessary and complete information related to the Quran.

The Koran in Russian is not the Koran. The Holy Scripture was sent down to humanity in Arabic, and those books that we see today as translations of the Koran in different languages, including Russian, cannot be called the Koran and they are not. How can a book in Russian or another language that a person has written be called the Quran? This is just an attempt to translate the word of God into different languages. Often, something similar to computer machine translation is obtained, from which it is difficult to understand something, and even more so, it is forbidden to make any decision on it. The publishing of books in different languages with a translation of the sacred text and with the inscription "Quran" on the cover is an innovation (bid'a), which was not in the time of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and after him during the time of the companions, their followers and the Salaf Salihuns . If such a thing were necessary, then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would do it and command others. After him, the companions also did not publish "Qurans" in Persian, English, German, Russian and other languages.

Thus, they began to "be glorified" only in the last 200-300 years. And the 20th century in this regard was a record, when the Holy Quran was translated into Russian by several people at once. They did not stop there and began to translate even into national languages.

Anyone who wants to understand the true meaning of the Qur'an must read hundreds and hundreds of volumes of interpretations of the sacred text, which were written by the greatest scholars of Islam in their time.

All Islamic science is the explanation to the people of what the Holy Quran calls for. And thousands of years of continuous study will not be able to give a person a complete understanding of the meaning of the Holy Book. And some naive people think that by taking the translation of the Koran into Russian, they can make decisions and build their lives on it and judge others. This, of course, is dark ignorance. There are even those who look for arguments in the translations of the Koran and, finding nothing there, oppose the world-renowned greatest Islamic scholars.

Koran- the eternal, uncreated speech of Allah Almighty. The Holy Quran was sent down to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) by the Lord through the archangel Jibril and has come down to our days unchanged through transmission from generation to generation.

The Qur'an includes everything necessary for humanity until the Day of Judgment. He collected everything that was contained in the previous Books, abolishing the prescriptions that applied only to certain peoples, thus becoming a source of answers to pressing questions until the end of time.

The preservation of the Qur'an was taken over by the Lord. It will never be distorted and will be preserved in the form in which it was sent down, for Allah Almighty says (meaning): “Verily, We (Allah) sent down the Qur’an, and We will definitely keep it” (Sura Al-Hijr, verse 9 ).

quran listen

Listening to the reading of the Quran calms a person, normalizes his psychological state. Medical institutions even practice therapeutic therapy, when people suffering from stressful and depressive conditions are allowed to listen to the reading of the Koran, and experts state a sharp improvement in the condition of patients.

﴿ وَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ مَا هُوَ شِفَاءٌ وَرَحْمَةٌ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ﴾

[سورة : الآية 82]

"I send down from the Qur'an that which is healing and mercy for those who believe."

Quran Language-Arabic, the most beautiful language in which the inhabitants of Paradise will communicate.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Love the Arabs because of three reasons: because I am an Arab, the Holy Quran is in Arabic and the speech of the inhabitants of Paradise is Arabic.”

Reading the Quran

You only need to read the Quran correctly, it is not a simple text that can be read with errors. It is better not to read the Qur'an at all than to read it with errors, otherwise a person will not receive any reward, and on the contrary, he will commit a sin. To read the Quran, you need to know well the rules of reading and the pronunciation of each Arabic letter. In Russian there is one letter "s" and one letter "z", and in Arabic there are three letters similar to Russian "s" and four to "z". Each is pronounced differently, and if you pronounce it wrong in a word, then the meaning of the word completely changes.

The correct reading of the Qur'an and the pronunciation of letters is a separate science, without comprehending which it is impossible to pick up the Qur'an.

Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The best of you is the one who studies the Qur'an and teaches it (to others) ”.

Quran + in Russian. Some people who do not know how to read the Koran, wanting to receive a reward from the Almighty, promised to those who read the sacred text, find an easy way for themselves and begin to look for the text of the Koran written in Russian letters. They also write letters to our editorial office with a request to write this or that sura to them in Russian letters in transcription. Of course, we explain to them that it is simply impossible to write the verses of the Quran correctly in transcription and reading such a text will not be reading the Quran, even if someone reads like this, he will make many mistakes, that the Quran itself will curse him for the mistakes he made .

Therefore, dear friends, do not even try to read the Quran in transcription, read from the original text, and if you do not know, then listen to the reading in audio or video recording. The one who listens to the Qur'an with humility receives the same reward as the reader. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) himself loved to listen to the Qur'an and asked his companions to read it to him.

“Whoever listens to the recitation of one verse from the Qur'an will receive a reward increased several times. And the one who reads this verse will become a light (nur) on the Day of Judgment, illuminating his path to Paradise ”(Imam Ahmad).

Suras + from the Quran

The text of the Quran is divided into suras and verses.

Ayat - a fragment (verse) of the Qur'an, consisting of one or more phrases.

Sura - chapter of the Koran, uniting a group of verses.

The text of the Koran consists of 114 suras, which are conventionally divided into Meccan and Medina. According to most scholars, everything that was sent down before the Hijra belongs to the Meccan revelations, and everything that was sent down after the Hijra belongs to the Medinan revelations, even if it happened in Mecca itself, for example, during the farewell pilgrimage. The verses sent down during the migration to Medina are considered Meccan.

Surahs in the Qur'an are not in the order of revelation. Surah Al-Fatiha, sent down in Mecca, is placed first. The seven verses of this sura encompass the basic principles of Islamic dogma, for which it was called the "Mother of Scripture." It is followed by long surahs sent down in Medina and explaining the laws of Sharia. Short suras sent down both in Mecca and Medina are at the end of the Qur'an.

In the first lists of the Qur'an, the verses were not separated from each other by signs, as is done at present, and therefore some disagreement arose between scholars about the number of verses in Scripture. They all agreed that it contains over 6200 verses. In more accurate calculations, there was no unity between them, but these figures are of no fundamental importance, because they do not concern the text of the revelations, but only how it should be divided into verses.

In modern editions of the Koran (Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iran), 6236 verses are distinguished, which corresponds to the Kufi tradition dating back to Ali bin Abu Talib. There is no disagreement between theologians regarding the fact that the verses are arranged in the suras in the order that was dictated by the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).

Quran Translation

It is not allowed to make a literal, verbatim translation of the Qur'an. For it, it is necessary to give an explanation, interpretation, because this is the word of Allah Almighty. All mankind will not be able to create like this or equal to one sura of the Holy Book.

Allah Almighty says in the Quran (meaning): If you doubt the truth and authenticity of the Qur'an, which we sent down to Our servant - the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), then bring at least one sura similar to any sura of the Qur'an in eloquence, edification and guidance, and call your witnesses besides Allah, who could testify if you are truthful...» (2:23).

A feature of the Qur'an is that one verse can have one, two, or ten different meanings that do not contradict each other. Those who wish to study this in detail can read Baizavi's tafseers "Anwaru ttanzil" and others.

Also, the peculiarities of the language of the Qur'an include the use of words that include many semantic meanings, as well as the presence of many places that require explanation by the Prophet himself (peace and blessings be upon him), and without this one can understand differently. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) is the main teacher explaining the Qur'an to people.

There are many verses in the Qur'an related to the life and life of people, sent down as answers to questions, according to the situation or place. If you make a translation of the Koran without taking into account those specific situations or circumstances, then a person will fall into error. Also in the Qur'an there are verses related to the sciences of heaven and earth, law, law, history, customs, iman, Islam, the attributes of Allah and the eloquence of the Arabic language. If the alim does not explain the meaning of all these sciences, then, no matter how well he knows the Arabic language, he will not know the full depth of the verse. This is also why a literal translation of the Quran is not acceptable. All translations that are currently available in Russian are literal.

Therefore, one cannot translate the Qur'an except through interpretation. In order to make an interpretation (tafsir), certain conditions must be met. The one who makes a translation of the Qur'an or its tafsir in the absence of at least one of them, then he himself is mistaken and misleads others. .

Interpretation of the Quran

There can be no errors in the Qur'an and hadiths, but in our understanding of the Qur'an and hadiths there can be plenty of them. We saw this in the example given in the first part of this article, and there are thousands of such examples. So, the errors lie not in the sacred sources, but in us, who are not able to correctly understand these sources. Following the scholars and mujtahids protects us from the danger of mistakes. Understanding sacred texts is also not an easy task. Praise be to Allah, who gave us scientists who explained, interpreted the sacred texts of the Koran, based on the hadiths of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and on the statements of righteous scientists. .

Beautiful Quran

quran mp3

Material prepared Muhammad Alimchulov

There is no other language in which only three letters can form a sentence with great meaning, and this is present in Arabic, where only three letters form the greatest sentence of Islam, this is: "There is no god but Allah." After all, it sounds in Arabic “La ilaha illa-Llah”, and three Arabic letters are repeated in it: Lam, Alif and Ha.

The language of the Quran is Arabic, and there is no doubt about it. This is emphasized in many verses of the Qur'an: (193). A faithful spirit descended with him

(194). upon your heart, so that you may be among those who warn,

(195). in Arabic, clear. (26:193-195)

And in another sura:

(37). Thus We have sent down the Qur'an with a law in the Arabic language. If you begin to indulge their desires after knowledge has come to you, then no one instead of Allah will become your protector and protector. (13:37)

It is not in vain that Allah Subhanahu wa Tagala emphasizes that the language of the Qur'an is Arabic. This may be a call to preserve the Qur'an in its original language. The Qur'an must be preserved regardless of the nationality of those who read it (Arab in their native language, or non-Arab).

Why is the Quran in Arabic? What language do you want the Quran to be revealed in? In English?

The very formulation of the question is wrong, because there is no one international language on the globe. If there was one such universal language, and the Qur'an was revealed in another language that not every person knows, then this question would be appropriate.

Allah Subhanahu wa Tagala reserved the right to choose to which area and to which people (with which language) to send an envoy. This is not the decision of the nations, but the decision of Allah alone. This is stated in the following verse:

(124). And when a sign comes to them, they say: “We will not believe until we are given the same as was given to the Messengers of Allah.” Allah knows best where to place His message. Humiliation before the Lord will come upon those who have sinned, and severe punishment for the fact that they contrived! (6:124)

Someone says that Allah Subhanahu wa Tagala sent the Qur'an as "We sent down the Qur'an by law in Arabic", and you want to live according to it in England, in America?!

But here the language of the code is emphasized, and not its direction. If I use a Japanese microphone in Russia, you won’t tell me: “How can you live in Kazan and use a Japanese microphone ?!” Its origin is irrelevant. The Koran is Arabic in language, in its origin, but not Arabic in its direction.

Allah Subhanahu wa Tagala does not say that Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was sent only to the Arabs:

(107). We sent you only as a mercy to the worlds.

The Qur'an is in Arabic, but the language of the message does not mean that the Qur'an is directed only to the Arabs.

This is the most appropriate answer to the question why the Quran is in Arabic.

But some scientists tried to explain what was the difference between the Arabs of that time, what are the possible reasons for choosing the language of the Koran in favor of Arabic.

The answer to this question can be divided into three groups:

1. Feature of the place of residence of the Arabs (Arabian Peninsula);

Features of the Arabic language;

features of the Arab people.

What is the geographical feature of the residence of the Arabs?

1. The Arabian Peninsula was in the middle of the large continents of the world that were active at that time. Three parts of the world were recognized: Africa, India (in modern Asia), Europe. The Arabian Peninsula had a very favorable location, unlike the above, it occupied a central position between these parts of the world.

2. The Prophet was sent down to the city of Mecca, where people who came from different countries made pilgrimages. And at a time when there was no telephone or Internet, communication between peoples took place either through trade or in such mass movements of people as the Hajj. Every year, people from the countries of the Arab world came to Mecca to make a pilgrimage, and Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used this, waiting for visitors and calling them to Islam. So, some people from Medina converted to Islam and, returning to their homes, began to call for Islam in Medina.

3. It was the inhabitants of Mecca who were surrounded by the desert. What did it lead to? There was no strong influence of other civilizations on this people, for example, Persians or Greeks. Even until today, when colonization began and the Arab world was divided among European countries. Let's say France took Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Algeria, Morocco, Great Britain took other countries, but there was no direct occupation of the Arabian Peninsula, Saudi Arabia, which was in Libya, Lebanon, etc. And this is because of such harsh living conditions.

Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was not the author of the Qur'an. One of the proofs is that the Qur'an describes some scientific data obtained only recently. If Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) had the opportunity to communicate with civilizations who were interested in medicine, geography, etc., there could be some doubt whether Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) took ), this information from someone.

What are the features of the Arab people of that time?

A strong memory that allowed memorizing poems from the first time, consisting of hundreds of lines. And this was necessary for memorizing the Qur'an at a time when printing was not widespread.

Patience. The Arab people are a people who live in the harsh conditions of life in the desert and are used to any difficulties. If these people lived in apple and apricot orchards, in comfort, and a prophet came to them, because of whom they are tortured and driven out, they would say: “Why do I need this? I will sit under the apple tree and eat apples...” Therefore, the Arabs were very patient. Bilyal, may Allah be pleased with him, was dragged through the desert (whoever was on the Hajj knows that when it’s 50 degrees, you can’t even step barefoot on the sand), a stone was placed on his chest and ordered to renounce Islam. Bilal, may Allah be pleased with him, said:

Allah is One, Allah is One.

When the Muslims released him, they asked why he always insisted that Allah is One, to which Bilal, may Allah be pleased with him, replied:

Believe me, I knew nothing about Islam, except that Allah

If this people were not accustomed to this harsh life, they would not be able to carry the burden of Islam.

The Arabs were far from different philosophies, their heads were not filled with questions that would prevent them from acting. They did not think about whether a person is a rational being or an animal, the soul of a person is in the legs or in the head, what is death, what is life, if I think, then I exist, etc.

Loyalty in promises is also a feature of the Arabs of that time. If you were promised to take you under their protection, then no one will be able to touch you as long as at least one of the family of the person who took you under protection is still alive.

Sometimes Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was forced to take protection from someone. And the Arabs did not break their words. If someone has a guest, no one has the right to touch this person, otherwise there will be revenge on the part of the owners of the house (offenders of their guest), etc.

What is special about the Arabic language?

Each language has its own characteristics. There is even such a proverb that one speaks German with an enemy, French with a lover, etc.

One scholar expressed himself very beautifully when speaking about the peculiarities of the Arabic language. He said that there is no other language in which with only three letters you can make a sentence with great meaning, and this is present in Arabic, where with just three letters the greatest sentence of Islam is composed, this is: "There is no god but Allah" . After all, it sounds in Arabic “La ilaha illa-Llah”, and three Arabic letters are repeated in it: Lam, Alif and Ha.

Arabic is the only language that has a clear distinction between feminine and masculine in all forms of the verb. Let's take Russian. Past tense plural: "went." Who went: women or men? In Arabic, it can be understood from the verb that it was women (or men) who walked, and this in all numbers and times. Also in English: once I was shown several texts of English songs, in which it is impossible to know by the forms of words whether this song is sung by a woman for a man or a man for a woman.

And when it comes to the Book, which reflects the laws, one cannot joke here: “Male or feminine, what difference does it make! They are all human!" There's no such thing.

3. Arabic has a dual form. Moreover, it can be understood whether the two referred to in the sentence were men or women.

When we talked about the properties of Allah, we had an example when the meaning of the verse was explained due to the use of the form of a dual number by Allah.

Because of the Arabic language, the Qur'an has seven types of recitation, which we have already discussed.

And this could not be with Russian or any other language. It will never be possible (reading the same handwritten text written in Russian is so great between each other). In Arabic there are three letters "x", two "g". If you remove the dots from "ha", "hya" and "ja", then they will look the same. And these dots are an innovation in the history of the Arabic language, during the time of "Uthman, may Allah be pleased with him, there were no such dots, and "alif" did not always stand.

I hope that in Russia there will be guys who will be experts in reading the Koran in all these seven ways.

Who the prophet will be is Allah's decision, but we can try to find some reasons for this choice.

Quran in Arabic. And why, when we want to receive a reward from each letter, should we read the Qur'an only in Arabic? Why can't you pray in your native language? Why are we forced to read namaz in Arabic?

If we take the translations of the meanings of the Koran by Krachkovsky, Kuliev, Porokhova, al-Muntahab, how many Korans will we get? I do not oppose translations, but one should not abandon the Qur'an in its original form in favor of translations, because as a result of any attempt at translation, some thoughts are lost, because it is impossible to replace the Arabic text of the Qur'an with a full translation of it into another language. If the original language of the book is lost, it will one day be impossible to sort out obscure matters. When we read different translations of the meanings of the Qur'an, we see great discrepancies that we cannot remove without the Qur'an in its original language. We see that the other Books of the Prophets have been changed to translations and therefore there is no mass reading of the Bible in its original language.

Therefore, when we are obliged to read the Koran in Arabic, this is not to make life difficult for us. Someone does not want to read tarawih and does not come to the mosque, saying: “What am I standing if I do not understand anything?” If we allow the reading of the "Quran" in any language, then in a hundred years I do not guarantee that there will be at least someone who will read the Koran at all.

Sometimes you read a translation and think: “Where did he translate from?” And this applies not only to the Arabic language. Translate any text from one language to another, some thought is lost. And the mood of the work and the shades of meaning are lost, wanting to express which the author of the work has chosen special words.

And Allah Subhanahu wa Tagala does not miss any moment in the difficulty of studying the Qur'an, and, depending on the difficulty, increases the reward. If a person who is having a hard time overcomes difficulties on the way to the study of the Qur'an, Allah Subhanahu wa Tagala will give him a great reward. Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “A person who recites the Qur’an and finds it difficult is rewarded twice as much.” Therefore, I congratulate you that you are Tatars, not Arabs.

Although, if a person feels the importance of the Arabic language for understanding the Qur'an, he will strive to study it for the pleasure of Allah Subhanahu wa Tagala.

There was a Persian writer who said: "If you scold me in Arabic, it will be better than praising me in Persian." This is not because he has forgotten his nation and language, Islam does not require this, but the Arabic language is the language of the Koran.

Today everyone strives to know English because they feel useful in this language. And if we felt the benefit of the Qur'an, it would not be so difficult for us to learn the language of this Book. The famous scholars of the Arabic language were non-Arabs. Among them, one can single out the scientist Sibavai. When Sibaway spoke about the grammar of the Arabic language, all the Arabs silently listened to him. He was not an Arab, but he is a famous scholar of the Arabic language.

When Sibavai was lying on his deathbed, his son came to him and asked his father: “Beating that son, am I abyatah?”, i.e., “What testament (parting word) will you give me, father?”

And he pulled the word "bimya", and this is a mistake.

The dying Sibaway replied:

I bequeath to you: be afraid of Allah and do not pull the "bimya" anymore. Pulling the "beam" is illiterate, and this is a manifestation of disrespect for the Arabic language.

I emphasize once again that the decision to which nation to send a prophet belongs only to Allah. But it has meaning and benefit.

The Qur'an is sent in Arabic, but this Book is for the entire globe and the religion of Islam is for all people.

One khazrat, either in jest or seriously, asked me:

Do you know the Tatar language?

I don't know, I replied.

And how will you get to Paradise, because you need to know the Tatar language. Some ask: "Can I be a true Muslim without knowing Arabic?"

And the answer is definitely yes! A person may well get acquainted with Islam and observe everything that it obliges to do without knowing the Arabic language.

(286). Allah does not burden the soul with anything but what is possible for it... (2:286)

And Allah Subhanahu wa Tagala does not want any hardship for her. Allah says in the Quran:

(185) ...Allah wants relief for you, and does not want hardship for you... (2:185)

But one cannot become a scholar in Islam without knowledge of the Arabic language. Even an Arab who does not know Arabic grammar perfectly cannot become a scholar. Therefore, the four great scholars of Islam, Imam ash-Shafigy, Abu Hanifa, Imam Malik, Imam Ahmad, were very competent in Arabic. Al-Shafiqiy is even considered a scholar of the Arabic language, and among his students there are also great scholars of the Arabic language.

And a non-Arab, especially, cannot become a great scholar in the Islamic religion without having an excellent knowledge of the Arabic language, because he will be forced to resort to translations of the Koran and books with translations of the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and this will make him a hostage to the translators of these Books, who have laid down their own understanding in their translations, and this is unacceptable for a scientist.

  6. from jinn and humans

Description of Surah an-Nas

Surahs from the Qur'an have been sent down for this mankind. From Arabic, the word "an-Nas" is translated as "People". The Almighty sent down a sura in Mecca, it contains 6 verses. The Lord turns to the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) with the requirement to always resort to His help, to seek only protection from evil from Allah. By "evil" is meant not so much the sorrows that accompany the earthly path of people, but the imperceptible evil that we ourselves commit, following the lead of our own passions, desires, whims. The Almighty calls this evil “the evil of Satan”: human passions are a genie-tempter who constantly tries to lead a person astray from the righteous path. Shaitan disappears only at the mention of Allah: that is why it is so important to read regularly and.

It must be remembered that the devil uses to deceive people those vices that are hidden in themselves, to which they often strive with all their hearts. Only an appeal to the Almighty can save a person from the evil that lives in him.

Sura "Dawn" Allah sent down to the Prophet in Mecca. The prayer contains 5 verses. The Almighty, turning to His Prophet (peace be upon him), requires him and all his followers to always seek salvation and protection from the Lord. A person will find salvation from Allah from all creatures that can harm him. “Evil of darkness” is an important epithet that denotes the anxiety, fear and loneliness that people experience at night: such a state is familiar to everyone. Sura "Dawn", insha Allah, protects a person from the instigations of shaitans, who seek to sow hatred between people, cut off family and friendly ties, instill envy in their souls. Prayer, insha Allah will save from the wicked, who lost the mercy of Allah because of his spiritual weakness, and now seeks to plunge other people into the abyss of sin.

Surah Al-Ikhlas

Very short, easy to remember, but at the same time, extremely effective and useful sura. To listen to Al-Ikhlas in Arabic, you can use video or MP3. The word "Al-Ikhlas" in Arabic means "Sincerity". Sura is a sincere declaration of love and devotion to Allah.

Transcription (phonetic sound of the sura in Russian):

Bismi-llayahi-rrahmaani-rrahiim

  1. Kul hu Allah ahad.
  2. Allah s-samad.
  3. Lam yalid wa lam yulad
  4. Walam yakullahu kufuan ahad.

Semantic translation into Russian:

  1. Say: "He is Allah, the One,
  2. Allah is self-sufficient.
  3. He did not give birth and was not born,
  4. and there is none equal to Him.”

Description of Surah Al-Ikhlas

Sura "Sincerity" Allah sent down to the Prophet in Mecca. Al-Ikhlas contains 4 verses. Muhammad told his disciples that once he was mockingly asked about his attitude towards the Almighty. The answer was Surah Al-Ikhlas, which contains the statement that Allah is Self-sufficient, that He is One and Only in His perfection, that He has always been, and there is no one equal to Him in strength.

With the requirement to tell them about His God, the pagans who professed polytheism turned to the Prophet (peace be upon him). The literal translation of the question they used was "What is your Lord made of?". For paganism, a material understanding of God was common: they created idols from wood and metal, worshiped animals and plants. The answer of Muhammad (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) shocked the pagans so much that they abandoned the old faith and recognized Allah.

Many hadiths point to the benefits of Al-Ikhlas. Within the framework of one article it is impossible to name all the advantages of the sura, there are so many of them. Here are just the most important ones:

In one hadith it is said how Muhammad (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) turned to people with the following question: “Isn’t each of you able to read a third of the Qur’an in a night?”. The townspeople were amazed and asked how this was possible. The Prophet replied: “Read Surah Al-Ikhlas! It is equal to one third of the Qur'an." This hadeeth suggests that in the sura "Sincerity" so much wisdom is concentrated, how much can not be found in any other text. But not one thinking person is 100% sure that this is exactly what the Prophet said, word for word, so peace be upon him, even if this hadith (the word "hadith" is translated from Arabic as "story") is good in meaning, because if he (peace be upon him) him) did not say so, then this is a slander and a lie on the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

It is important to know: all these hadiths may not be reliable. Hadiths must be looked at for their correspondence with the Qur'an. If a hadith contradicts the Qur'an, then it must be discarded, even if it somehow manages to be put into collections of reliable hadith.

Another hadith retells the words of the Prophet to us: “If a believer is fifty times every day, then on the Day of Resurrection a voice from above will be heard over his grave: “Arise, O praiser of Allah, enter Paradise!”. In addition, the Messenger said: “If a person reads Surah Al-Ikhlas a hundred times, then Almighty Allah will forgive him the sins of fifty years, provided that he does not commit four types of sins: the sin of bloodshed, the sin of acquisitiveness and hoarding, the sin of debauchery and the sin drinking alcohol." Saying a Surah is a work that a person does for the sake of Allah. If this work is done with diligence, the Almighty will surely reward the one who prays.

Hadiths repeatedly point to the reward that is received for reading the sura "Sincerity". The reward is proportional to the number of readings of the prayer, the time spent on this. One of the most famous hadiths contains the words of the Messenger, demonstrating the incredible significance of Al-Ikhlas: “If anyone reads Surah Al-Ikhlas once, he will be overshadowed by the grace of the Almighty. Whoever reads it twice, then he and his whole family will be under the shadow of grace. If someone reads it three times, then he himself, his family and his neighbors will receive grace from above. Whoever reads it twelve times, Allah will grant twelve palaces in Paradise. Whoever reads it twenty times, he [on the Day of Judgment] will walk with the prophets like this (saying these words, the Prophet joined and raised his middle and index fingers) Whoever reads it a hundred times, the Almighty will forgive all his sins for twenty-five years except for the sin of bloodshed and the sin of default. Whoever reads it two hundred times, the sins of fifty years will be forgiven. Anyone who reads this surah four hundred times will get a reward equal to the reward of four hundred martyrs who shed blood and whose horses were wounded in battle. Whoever reads Surah Al-Ikhlas a thousand times, he will not die without seeing his place in Paradise, or until he is shown it.

Another hadith contains a kind of recommendation for people who are going on a journey or are already on the road. Travelers are instructed to recite Al-Ikhlas eleven times while grasping the doorposts of their house with both hands. If this is done, then the person will be protected on the way from shaitans, their negative impact and attempts to instill fear and uncertainty in the soul of the traveler. In addition, the recitation of the sura "Sincerity" is a guarantee of a safe return to places dear to the heart.

It is important to know: no sura in itself can help a person in any way, only Allah can help a person and believers rely on Him! And many hadiths, as we see, contradict the Koran - the direct speech of Allah Himself!

There is another option for reading Surah Al-Ikhlas - in combination with Al-Nas and Al-Falak. Each prayer is said three times. Reading these three suras is a protection from evil forces. As the prayer is said, it is necessary to blow on the person we want to protect. Surah is especially useful for children. If the baby cries, screams, kicks his legs, there are signs of the evil eye, be sure to try Al-Ikhlas, Al-Nas and Al-Falak. The effect will be stronger if you read the suras before going to bed.

Sura Yasin

The greatest surah of the Qur'an is Yasin. This sacred text should be taught by all Muslims. You can use audio recordings or videos to make it easier to remember. The Surah is quite large, it contains 83 verses.

Semantic translation:

  1. Ya. Syn.
  2. I swear by the wise Quran!
  3. Indeed, you are one of the messengers
  4. on a straight path.
  5. He was sent down by the Mighty, the Merciful,
  6. so that you warn people whose fathers no one warned, because of which they remained careless ignoramuses.

  8. Verily, We have put shackles on their necks up to the chin, and their heads are lifted up.
  9. We set up a barrier in front of them and a barrier behind them and covered them with a veil, and they do not see.
  10. They don't care if you warn them or not. They don't believe.
  11. You can only warn those who have followed the Reminder and feared the Merciful, not seeing Him with their own eyes.
  16. They said, “Our Lord knows that we have indeed been sent to you.
  17. We are only entrusted with the clear communication of the revelation.”
  18. They said, “Verily, we have seen in you an evil omen. If you do not stop, then we will certainly beat you with stones and you will be touched by painful sufferings from us.
  19. They said, “Your evil omen will turn against you. Do you consider it a bad omen if you are warned? Oh no! You are people who have crossed the boundaries of what is permitted!”
  20. A man hastily came from the outskirts of the city and said: “O my people!
  24. That's when I find myself in an obvious delusion.
  25. Verily, I have believed in your Lord. Listen to me."
  26. He was told: "Enter Paradise!" He said, "Oh, if only my people knew
  27. why my Lord forgave me (or that my Lord forgave me) and that He made me one of the honored!
  28. After him, We did not send down any army from heaven against his people, and We did not intend to send down.
  29. There was only one voice, and they died out.
  30. O woe to the slaves! Not a single messenger came to them that they did not mock.
  31. Do they not see how many generations We destroyed before them and that they will not return to them?
  32. Indeed, all of them will be collected from Us.
  38. The sun is sailing towards its location. Such is the arrangement of the Mighty, the Knower.
  39. We have ordained positions for the moon until it becomes again like an old palm branch.
  40. The sun does not have to overtake the moon, and the night does not lead the day.
  46. Whatever sign of the signs of their Lord comes to them, they certainly turn away from it.
  47. When they are told: “Spend from what Allah has given you,” the unbelievers say to the believers: “Shall we feed the one whom Allah would feed if He wished? Verily, you are only in apparent error.”
  48. They say, "When will this promise come true if you're telling the truth?"
  49. They have nothing to look forward to but a single voice that will strike them when they quarrel.

  53. There will be only one voice, and they will all be gathered from Us.
  54. No injustice will be done to a single soul today, and you will only be rewarded for what you have done.
  55. Indeed, the inhabitants of Paradise today will be occupied with enjoyment.
  56. They and their spouses will lie in the shadows on the beds, leaning against.
  57. There is fruit for them and everything they need.
  58. The merciful Lord greets them with the word: "Peace!"
  59. Separate today, O sinners!
  60. Haven't I commanded you, O sons of Adam, not to worship Satan, who is your open enemy,
  61. and worship Me? This is the straight path.
  62. He has already misled many of you. Don't you understand?
  63. Here is Gehenna that was promised to you.
  64. Burn in it today because you didn't believe."
  65. Today We will seal their mouths. Their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will testify to what they have acquired.
  66. If We will, We will deprive them of their sight, and then they will rush to the Path. But how will they see?
  67. If We will, We will disfigure them in their places, and then they will not be able to move forward or return.
  68. To whom We grant long life, We give the opposite form. Don't they understand?
  69. We did not teach him (Muhammad) poetry, and it is not befitting for him. This is nothing but a Reminder and a clear Quran,
  70. that he may warn those who are alive, and that the Word may be fulfilled concerning unbelievers.
  71. Do they not see that out of what Our hands (We Ourselves) have done, We have created cattle for them, and that they own them?
  72. We have made him subject to them.
  79. Say: “The One Who created them the first time will revive them. He is aware of every creation."
  80. He created fire for you out of green wood, and now you are kindling fire from him.
  81. Is He Who created the heavens and the earth not able to create like them? Of course, because He is the Creator, the Knower.
  82. When He desires something, it is worthwhile for Him to say: “Be!” - how it comes true.
  83. Exalted is He in Whose Hand is power over all things! To Him you will be returned.

Sura Yasin Allah sent Muhammad (peace be upon him) in Mecca. In this text, the Almighty informed the Prophet (sallallahu ‘aleihi wa sallam) that he is the messenger of the Lord, and from the moment of revelation, his task is to enlighten, teach and exhort the people, vegetating in the abyss of polytheism. The sura also speaks of those who dare to disobey the instructions of Allah, who refuse to accept the Messenger - these unfortunate ones will face severe punishment and universal censure.

“Allah (God, Lord) ... There is no god but Him, the Eternally Living, Existing. Neither sleep nor slumber will overtake him. He owns everything in heaven and on earth. Who will intercede before Him, except by His will!? He knows what was and what will be. No one is able to comprehend even particles from His knowledge, except by His will. Heaven and Earth are embraced by the course (Great Throne) of Him, and He does not bother to care for them [About everything that is in our galactic system]. He is the Most High [by all characteristics above everything and everything], the Great [His greatness has no limits]!” (see, Holy Quran, sura “al-Baqarah”, ayat 255 (2:255)).

Ayat Al-Kursi is included in Sura Al-Baqara (translated from Arabic - a cow). According to the account in the sura, ayat 255th. It should be said right away that many prominent theologians believe that Al-Kusri is a separate sura, and not an ayat. Be that as it may, the Messenger stated that the verse is the key one in the Koran, it contains the most important statement that distinguishes Islam from other religions - the dogma of monotheism. In addition, the verse gives evidence of the greatness and infinite nature of the Lord. In this sacred text, Allah is called "Ismi 'azam" - this name is considered the most worthy name of God.

It is important to know: you should not read the Quran loudly in a chant, and even more so compete in it - while listening to such melodies you will fall into a trance and you will not understand the most important thing - the meaning that Allah conveyed to mankind to observe the Quran and meditate on His verses.

Surah Al-Baqarah

- the second and most voluminous in the Qur'an. The sacred text contains 286 verses that reveal the very essence of religion. The sura contains the teachings of Allah, the instruction of the Lord to Muslims, a description of how they should behave in various situations. In general, we can say that Surah Al-Baqarah is a text that regulates the whole life of a believer. The document says almost everything: about revenge, about the distribution of inheritance among the relatives of the deceased, about the use of alcoholic beverages, about playing cards and dice. Much attention is paid to the issues of marriage and divorce, the trading side of life, and relations with debtors.

From the Arabic language "Al-Baqara" is translated as "Cow". This name is associated with a parable, which is given in the sura. The parable tells about the Israelite cow and Musa, peace be upon him. In addition, the text contains many stories about the life of the Prophet and his followers. In "Al-Baqara" it is directly stated that the Koran is a guide in the life of a Muslim, which is given to him by the Almighty. In addition, in the sura there is a mention of believers who have received favor from Allah, as well as those who have angered the Almighty with disobedience and a tendency to disbelief.

Let us remember the words of the Great Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him): “Do not turn your houses into graves. Shaitan flees from the house where Surah al-Baqarah is being recited. This exceptionally high assessment of the Surah "The Cow" allows us to consider it the most important in the Koran. The great significance of the sura is also emphasized by another hadith: “Read the Qur'an, because on the Day of Resurrection he will come and will intercede for his own. Read two blooming suras - suras "al-Baqara" and "Ali Imran", because on the Day of Resurrection they will appear like two clouds or two flocks of birds lined up in rows and will intercede for their own. Read Surah al-Baqarah, because there is grace and abundance in it, and without it there is sadness and annoyance, and sorcerers cannot cope with it.

In Surah Al-Baqarah, the last 2 verses are considered the main ones:

  • 285. The messenger and the believers believed in what was sent down to him from the Lord. They all believed in Allah, His angels, His Scriptures and His messengers. They say, "We make no distinction between His messengers." They say: “Listen and obey! We ask for Your forgiveness, our Lord, and we will arrive to You.
  • 286. Allah does not burden a person beyond his capacity. He will get what he has acquired, and what he has acquired will be against him. Our Lord! Do not punish us if we have forgotten or made a mistake. Our Lord! Do not place on us the burden that You placed on our predecessors. Our Lord! Do not burden us with what we cannot afford. Be kind to us! Forgive us and have mercy! You are our Protector. Help us to prevail over unbelieving people.

In addition, the sura contains the verse "Al-Kursi", which we have quoted above. The great meaning and incredible importance of Al-Kursi has been repeatedly emphasized by leading theologians who referred to famous hadiths. The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, calls on Muslims to read these verses, teach them, teach them to their family members, wives and children. After all, the last two verses “Al-Bakar” and “Al-Kursi” are a direct appeal to the Almighty.

Interesting facts about Surah Al-Fatiha

Undoubtedly, the sura "Al-Fatiha" is the greatest sura of the Koran. This is confirmed by the epithets that it is customary to designate this unique text: “Opening Book”, “Mother of the Quran”, etc. The Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him!) repeatedly pointed out the special significance and value of this sura. For example, the Prophet said the following: "Whoever did not read the Opening Book (i.e. Surah al-Fatiha), he did not perform a prayer." In addition, the following words belong to him: “Whoever makes a prayer without reading the Opening Book in it, then it is not complete, not complete, not complete, not finished.” In this hadith, special attention is drawn to the threefold repetition of the word "not complete." The Prophet framed the phrase in such a way as to increase the impact on the listener, to emphasize that without reading Al-Fatih, prayer may not reach the Almighty.

Every Muslim should know that the Al-Fatiha sura is an indispensable element of prayer. The text deserves the honor of being in front of any sura of the Qur'an. "Al-Fatiha" is the most read sura in the Islamic world, the verses from it are pronounced constantly and in each of the rak'ahs.

One of the hadiths claims that the Almighty will reward the reader of the Al-Fatiha surah to the same extent as the person who read 2/3 of the Koran. Another hadith quotes the words of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him!): “I received 4 things from the special treasures of ‘Arsh (Throne), from which no one ever received anything. These are Surah Fatiha, Ayatul Kursi, the last verses of Surah Bakara and Surah Kausar. The colossal significance of Surah Al-Fatiha is also emphasized by the following hadith: “Four times Iblis had to grieve, cry and tear his hair out: the first when he was cursed, the second when he was driven from heaven to earth, the third when the Prophet (sallallahu ' alayhi wa sallam) received the fourth prophecy when Surah Fatiha was sent down.

“Muslim Sharif” contains one very revealing hadith, which cites the words of the Great Prophet (may Allah bless him and be present”: “Today one of the doors of heaven opened, which had never opened before. And one angel descended from it, who had never before descended. And the angel said: "Receive the good news about two nurs that have never been given to anyone before you. One is the sura "Fatiha", and the second is the end of the sura "Baqarah (the last three verses)".

What is the first thing that comes to mind in this hadeeth? Of course, the fact that the suras "Fatiha" and "Bakara" are called "nurs" in it. Translated from Arabic, this word means "light." On the Day of Judgment, when Allah will judge people for their earthly path, the read suras will become a light that will attract the attention of the Almighty and allow Him to separate the righteous from the sinners.

"Al-Fatiha" is "Ismi A'zam", that is, a text that should be read in any situation. Even in ancient times, doctors noticed that the sura written in rose oil on the bottom of porcelain dishes makes the water exceptionally healing. The patient needs to drink water for 40 days. In a month he will feel relief, God willing. To improve the condition with a toothache, headache, pain in the abdomen, the sura must be read exactly 7 times.
