In 1969, Grachevsky became a student of the correspondence department of VGIK, passing documents for the specialty "Organization of film production." He received a diploma of higher education after 23 years.

Yeralash

In 1974, A. Khmelik, who held the position of deputy editor-in-chief at the film studio, began to look for a suitable candidate for the role of director in the newly organized film magazine Yeralash.
