How to do a cat eye manicure

In this article, we will tell you how to apply gel polish with the "Cat's Eye" effect.

This is what the blue color looks like on the nail:

Technique for applying gel polish "Cat's eye"

First stage:
Degrease the nail with liquid for degreasing, apply a base coat and dry it in a UV Lamp for 2 minutes.

Applying gel polish and using a magnet:
Apply cat eye gel polish. This varnish is very thick and one layer is enough to create the desired effect.

A magnet is attached to the varnish, which will create the effect of a cat's eye for us. Metal particles, thanks to the use of a magnet, will rise from the general pigmented mass of gel polish and create the effect of chrysoberyl, which is famous for its middle name - Cat's Eye stone. Translation of the instructions on the magnet - "Bring as close as possible to the surface of a freshly painted nail, hold for 5-10 seconds and quickly dry the result in a UV lamp."

For example, let's start painting the demo display. One coat of varnish is required.

This is what the coating looks like BEFORE applying the magnet.

And now - the magic itself! We bring the magnet as close as possible to the nail (it is necessary 2 times closer, but then the photo would not be so revealing) and hold for several seconds.

Drying.
Here's what we got:

We send it to the UV lamp.
The coating becomes hard under the influence of UV rays.

Final stage:
Next, apply a top coat, dry it in a UV Lamp for 2 minutes and remove the sticky layer with a degreasing liquid.
