International project “Ecological culture. Peace and harmony
Non-Governmental Environmental Foundation named after V.I. Vernadsky invites you to take part in the International project “Ecological culture. Peace and Consent"
The project is aimed at identifying implemented projects and ideas that have practical application in the field of formation and development of the ecological culture of the population. Its purpose is to preserve a favorable environment, ensure environmental safety, maximize the rational use of natural resources, and popularize the principles of ecological culture.
Every year, more than 400 organizations from the Russian Federation and neighboring countries become participants in the Project. In 2018, the project is being implemented in the following areas: environmental education; ecological education and enlightenment; conservation of natural complexes and biodiversity; environmental culture in industry and energy; mass media and ecological culture; health ecology; social initiatives aimed at developing ecological culture.
The result of the project implementation will be the transmission of positive environmental experience to the regions of the Russian Federation. The best projects will be announced on Ecologist's Day, during which the winners and prize-winners will be awarded.
In 2012, the V.I. Vernadsky, the Interregional Public Organization "GREENLIGHT", the Interregional Ecological Public Organization "GREENLIFE" established and implemented the International Project "Ecological Culture. Peace and harmony".
The purpose of the International Project is to identify and popularize completed projects aimed at:
- development of ecological thinking and worldview among various target groups;
- information work on environmental protection, environmental safety and development of environmental culture;
- restoration and strengthening of the health of the population through the improvement of the quality of the environment;
- introduction and development of innovative technologies in the field of environmental protection.
The project is carried out on a charitable basis and does not provide for entrance and organizational fees.
The international project is carried out in the following nominations:
- environmental culture in industry and energy;
- ecological education and enlightenment;
- environmental education;
- mass media and ecological culture;
- conservation of natural complexes and biodiversity;
- social initiatives aimed at developing ecological culture;
- health ecology.
In 2019, the jury of the International Project received 650 applications, which is a record figure in the entire history of the project. The geography of participants also expanded significantly - representatives of 73 regions of the country took part in the 2019 competition.
The most active participants of the contest “Ecological culture. Peace and Accord” were representatives of the following constituent entities of the Russian Federation:
Ivanovo region
Krasnoyarsk region
Kursk region
Moscow
Nizhny Novgorod Region
Novosibirsk region
St. Petersburg
Tomsk region
Khabarovsk region
The largest number of applications came from the Kemerovo region, which received the "Most Active Region" award.
Results of the International Project “Ecological Culture. Peace and Accord” were announced during the solemn ceremony in honor of the Ecologist’s Day on June 5, 2019 in Moscow, at the House of the Unions. 44 projects became winners and prize-winners of the competition. The high level of projects that did not win prizes was marked with gold and silver certificates. Gold certificates and a commemorative prize are sent to participants by Russian Post, silver certificates and participant certificates - by e-mail.
