  • To form the skill of determining which group by meaning the words of the state category belong to.
  • Develop interest in the Russian language.

Equipment: didactic material, handout, presentation

During the classes

1. Org. moment

Preparing students for active and conscious assimilation of new material.

2. There are 3 sentences on the slide. (2 slide).

Task: name the repeated words, determine their syntactic role and part of speech.

Which suggestion caused the problem?

What part of the sentence is the word warm, is there a subject in the sentence, can it be?

Is it possible to determine the ownership of a word warm to any part of speech without including it in the sentence?

What are words that are spelled the same, pronounced the same but have different meanings? (homonyms)

Teacher's word:

Parts of speech, like people, live their own special lives: each has its own character (morphological features), they have family ties, they go to work in sentences. The adverb, for example, has a twin brother, very similar to it. It is called the word categories of the state. And today we will get to know him.

You will find out what questions he answers, what he means, what work he does in a sentence, and in general, how he is like and not like a brother.

(slide 3), title

Write down the topic of the lesson.

3. Assimilation of new knowledge

What is the purpose of our lesson today? (slide 4)

1) determine the values ......

2) distinguish ....... from other parts of speech

3) to use in speech .....

Without using a textbook, can you tell which words belong to the words of the state category and what do the words of the state category mean? (Not)

Compare the pairs of sentences written on the board. Let's try to parse them:

1) The face darkens from sunburn. 2) It gets dark very quickly in Sochi in summer.

1) Throughout July, the sun burned mercilessly. 2) The whole July was mercilessly hot.

What did they see? In the first sentences of each pair, the grammatical basis consists of a subject and a predicate-verb: the face darkens, the sun is hot. In the second sentences of each pair, the grammatical basis consists only of the predicate-verb: dark, dark.

Thus, we see that in speech there are sentences that do not have a subject.

What are they transmitting? They most often convey the state of the environment, the physical and mental state of people.

We write sentences in notebooks and underline the main and secondary members (one person works at the blackboard):

The morning is sunny and joyful.
The eyes glowed with joy.
The boys were happy in their hearts.

Read the sentences. What can you say about these proposals? (Each sentence contains one common word)

Let's define what words belong to the words of the state category?

- Let's consider the first suggestion.

What part of speech is the word happily in the first sentence? (short adjective).

What word are we asking? (from noun morning)

What question does it answer? (answers a question what?)

What member of the proposal is it? (in sentence is predicate) .

In the second? - adverb, as it denotes a sign of action: Glowing how? joyfully, In a sentence, it is a circumstance.

In the third sentence? Joyfully- at the same time an adjective - after all, it is able to be a predicate (it was joyful) without a subject, and an adverb - it is invariable. A contradiction arises: is this not an adjective or an adverb, does it mean something third, a completely special part of speech? This invariable part of speech is used in a sentence without a subject. This is the word of the state category.

Let's fill in the table on the slide (pupils are called to fill in each column of the table, the most “strong” fills the fourth column). Students work with their table. (slide 5,6,7,8)

Questions short adjective Adverb State Category Word (SCS)
What word does it refer to? Noun Verb Does not depend on other words
What question does it answer? What? What? What? How? Where? How? What is it?
What does it mean? sign

Subject

Sign of action, sign of another sign The state of nature, man, assessment of action
What member of the proposal is it? Predicate Circumstance Predicate in a sentence without a subject
How does it change? By gender, number, cases Doesn't change Doesn't change

So, guys, we filled out the table. And now all the attention is on the theoretical material that lies on your desks. (One of the students reads the material)

Let's carefully consider the words SHAME, PAIN, BITTER from the sentence: "She was ashamed, hurt, bitter." (I.S. Turgenev)

They answer the questions HOW? or WHAT? and represent the state of a person. Please note that next to the words SHAME, HURTS, BITTER there is a verb link WAS, it indicates to us that the state took place in the past. They do not depend on any other words and are predicates in a sentence where there is no subject. These words have a special meaning that does not coincide with any other part of speech, have their own morphological features and their syntactic role, therefore, they can be distinguished into a special part of speech, which is called the category of state (or words of state).

The words related to this part of speech mean:

1) the state of mind of a person: FUN, JOYFUL, BORED, EASY, ANXIOUS, SAD, gratifying. (For example: “In the crowd it was always easy and gratifying for me.” (Turgenev);

2) the physical condition of a person or animal: HUNGRY, Sick, Stuffy (For example: “I feel stuffy and hot”);

3) the state of nature: DRY, COLD, FROSTY, WINDY. (For example: “It was sunny and windy”);

4) assessment of actions: POSSIBLE, IMPOSSIBLE, IMPOSSIBLE, NECESSARY (For example: “You need to learn the rules”).

Guys, let's write in our grammar notebook what the words of the state category mean. (read)

So, let's sum up.

What are the words of the state category.

SCS is an independent part of speech, answers the questions HOW? WHAT? Denotes? Morphological features of the state category - does not change, that is, does not decline and does not conjugate. The syntactic role is the predicate, in what sentences? (slide 9)

Well done. Now let's read the rule in the textbook on page 127.

How do we reason when we find the words of the category of state in a sentence? We read the reasoning on page 128.

And now we must learn to distinguish the category of state from the adjective and adverb. (slide 11)

The short form of the adjective agrees in gender, number, case with the noun being defined, and in the sentence it can be a predicate. The adverb defines the verb-predicate, answers the questions: how, when, etc. and in a sentence is a circumstance. The words of the state category are used in impersonal sentences and are predicates.

4. Fixing.

Exercise 1.

Listen to excerpts from the poetic works of M.Yu. Lermontov and find in them the words of the state category:

And boring, and sad, and there is no one to give a hand to ...
In heaven solemnly and wonderfully,
The earth sleeps in the radiance of blue ...
Why is it so painful and so difficult for me?
Waiting for what? Do I regret anything?

See how the words of the state category adorn the poetic text. After all, poetry is, first of all, an expression of feelings, emotions, experiences. Here you can not do without the words of the category of state.

Let's try to come up with our own sentences using the words of the state category (students come up with 2-3 sentences and voice them).

Task 2.

(Slide 12). Write down sentences in your notebook and determine which part of speech the highlighted words belong to and their syntactic role.

And the Neva was breathing heavily, like a horse running from the battle. (A.S. Pushkin)

"Hey! Let's go, coachman!..” - “No urine: horses, master, it’s hard ...” (A.S. Pushkin)

Task 3.

(Slide 13). Indicate the numbers of sentences in which the highlighted words are words of the state category, short adjectives, adverbs. Divide into three columns.

His face was sad.
He sad smiled.
to me sad.
On him funny watch.
Such behavior funny.
He funny looks.
The writing interesting written.
With him interesting argue.
Competition interesting the composition of the participants.

(Slide 14). Let's check ourselves! Highlighted words - adverbs: 2, 6, 7. Words of the state category: 3, 4, 8. Short adjectives: 1, 5, 9.

Task 4. A 7th grade student sent an assignment marked "SOS" to all schools via the Internet. He is completely confused and asks for help to insert appropriate words for the category of state and title the text. Can we help? We work in the card that is on your desk.

We check.
