In any case, this murder, like previous terrorist attacks against well-known commanders of the LDNR, testifies to the trouble in the republics. It was not without betrayal, otherwise the Ukrainians could not get close to highly guarded persons and not carry out their plan. It has been repeatedly said that the LDNR is stuffed with Ukrainian agents, including in law enforcement agencies. Not today or tomorrow, a big war with Ukraine will begin, and a “fifth column” of Ukraine has been formed in the law enforcement agencies of the republics (in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of State Security, in customs), not to mention civilian departments, in the same tax services. Therefore, I think that the killers of Givi will most likely be found, but this will not solve the problem. There will be a possibility of repetition of such attacks in the future.

"SP": - Kyiv will take over this murder? Will the West turn a blind eye? Is it for Minsk?

Of course, this is “not in Minsk”. But what will this change in the attitude of the West to what is happening? If Ukraine allows the shelling of millions of Donetsk with rocket artillery, and the "international community" calls on both sides to cease fire! The West expects manifestations of political Tolstoyanism from the Donbass, up to the readiness to perish uncomplainingly under the blows of Ukrainian terrorist troops. What in this scenario is the death of one person, even such a famous one as Givi? And official Kyiv created a convenient psychological excuse for itself, blaming all the dirty deeds on the uncontrolled Nazis from the “volunteer battalions”. Unfortunately, in many ways this crafty game was facilitated by the completely stupid "diplomacy" of the republics, when the representatives of the LDNR in Minsk themselves stated that it was not the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but "independent volunteers" who were firing at the positions of the republics. Such statements were already made in the fall of 2014 and objectively worked for Ukrainian propaganda. The point here is not in malice, but in the quality of Donbass “diplomacy”.

In addition, the murder of some leader will be an excuse for Kyiv and the Western media to accuse the LDNR of ... disrupting the Minsk agreements! Any terrorist attack is always prepared for some time, preparation cannot go unnoticed. Someone fixes the place, someone studies the escape routes. Someone saw something - it is necessary to report where it should be.

In May last year, in the Luhansk region, the commander of the “Ghost” militia brigade, Aleksey Mozgovoy, was killed as a result of an assassination attempt. Inconvenient, capricious, sometimes intractable field commanders from the very beginning became a bone in the throat of the Ukrainian government, its headache.

The terrible Mozgovoy urged to join forces with the Ukrainian units and make a move not to Mariupol, but to Kyiv. Under his leadership, the Ghost battalion became one of the most combat-ready formations, fanatically devoted to the brigade commander. Then an explosion in the elevator. Then there were rumors that Givi fled, fearing for his life. But no, a day later he gives an interview in which he urges not to speculate on the topic of his friendship with the late Arsene Motorola. “Let them kill,” Givi tells reporters.

Givi was truly loved in the DPR - he was a young personification of the victory of the republic. Everyone in Donetsk can confirm this. Hence such hatred in Kyiv, which has now accumulated the most terrible military mechanisms and is constantly gathering forces for the last push. Givi's death is understandable in this sense.

Of course, speculation about his death will now begin, because it is too easy when the enemy kills. They will look in the DPR, in administrations and apparatuses - some will profit from loud and savory versions, behind the scenes of which Zakharchenko will stand. It would never occur to anyone that Zakharchenko lost his best commander, and Kyiv received an additional bonus in the war against the boys, who, with their exploits, proved the right of the existence of republics as young as they are.

Or is the murder of Givi one thing, and the murder of Oles Buzina “is a completely different matter”?

The terrorist said that "he was always on the side of Russia." He called Russian President Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky his political idols.

The combat path of “Givi” began immediately after the victory of the Revolution of Dignity in Kyiv. In one of the interviews, the terrorist said that on May 1, 2014, “he was already in Slavyansk, where he supported the young republic.” He went there not to fight, but to “defend his country”.

According to the military prosecutor's office of Ukraine, in the period from May 2014 to January 2015, while in Slavyansk, Ilovaisk and Donetsk, being the leader of Somalia, he organized and personally carried out armed attacks on ATO fighters, and also behaved harshly and used torture in relation to captured military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The death of “Givi” was wanted for a long time. The first reports of its elimination appeared in 2014. The attempts to kill "Givi" in March 2015 and April 2016 received the greatest response. In the first case, in the Makiivka area, unidentified persons fired at his car while he was driving to positions at the Donetsk airport. A year later, unknown people tried to blow up the car where Givi was supposed to be.

In the summer of 2015, it was reported that the terrorist died as a result of a wound after a shell from the 95th brigade hit the headquarters of the militants near Donetsk. But later it turned out that it was not Tolstykh who died, but his deputy with the call sign “Nightmare”.

On January 31, People's Deputy Yevgeny Deydey reported rumors about the wounding of a terrorist under the call sign "Givi" - Mikhail Tolstykh, the leader of the "Somalia" battalion.

In his last video message dated February 3, “Givi” spoke about the injury he received in the industrial zone of Avdiivka. He was taunted by the Ukrainian media, who reported that the terrorist had shot himself in the foot.

In three days of fighting, he lost "four of the best fighters."

Givi was destroyed in Donetsk in the morning.

Of course, Givi did not die in battle, like other YouTube heroes, because in reality he did not command anything and did not go on the attack. He was blown up (burned with a flamethrower?) in his own office, according to tradition, everything is blamed on the Ukrainian DRG, which is already ridiculous. Well, or the Ukrainian DRGs in this war have evolved so much that they have learned to quietly penetrate with flamethrowers even into the location of the "Somalia" battalion...

In half of the cases, there is no doubt at all - according to Batman-Bednov and Tsypkalov, the participation of the Ukrainian DRG is excluded, there were 100% of their own. But at the same time, thousands of stubborn madmen continue to support this whole meat grinder and sincerely believe that the "Russian world" is winning, and Putin is doing everything right.

But we are in a zone of turbulence, given the tense situation around Avdiivka, in the Mariupol direction. The second Minsk agreements will soon be two years old. The impracticability will sooner or will have to be recognized by official politicians, but the only alternative to peace agreements can be only a new round of hostilities.

In fact, the processes are very acute, and, of course, they should alert not only the inhabitants of Donetsk or Ukraine, but also the inhabitants of Europe and the Russian Federation, because if there is a subversive war, it will kill people who defend this or that idea in the West , both in Russia and in the CIS. This is a very dangerous phenomenon that can very quickly and negatively affect the lives of ordinary people.

I don't think that Givi's death is related to the recent escalation in the region. You can’t just jump out like a devil out of a snuffbox, launch a thermobaric projectile and leave. All these things - they are prepared carefully, not one month.
