Description:

This story is about David, who I sincerely think is an amazing guy despite everything he's done. And also - about those with whom, voluntarily or involuntarily, our destinies crossed.
I am interested in unraveling and sorting out the complex knots of personal tragedies, conflicts, relationships. Communicate with various creatures, learn to get along with each other and accept the Other. So we have everything mixed up: drama, humor, and psychology. And even, in some places, everyday life. Everything is like in life, only with immortality and xenomorphs!

Dedication:

Dedicated to friends from the "first" and "second" reality, as well as colleagues in intelligence work (a scout on Alestra's Earth and now with us - the one who resurrects the dead and helps them adapt to a new life).

Author's notes:

This story is a chronicle of live communication with those who are dear to me, but with whom I can communicate only mentally, see - with my "inner eye". Diary-between-worlds.
Therefore, I sincerely hope that it will never be completed.
It is closest in style to documentaries and field notes.

I live there with some part of myself. I have almost unlimited possibilities there, and not only me. The priority is communication and help, and all "superpowers" are just nice tools. There are many tools: revival of the dead, materialization of objects, telepathy and teleportation. It is convenient - just as convenient as a mobile phone, the Internet and Ambulance. The attitude to this is the same - we can and use it.

On the love relationship mostly just hints. There will be no sex scenes. In general, this whole epic is about relationships, about help, about acceptance and love, about interest in the interlocutor and the world. About establishing contact with the Other. But it was the love lines that were not in the foreground.

There will be lacunae and original characters that appear sporadically. Some things I just won't share because they're too personal for me or the other members. Explanations will not be everywhere, but you can also ask the author. And even, theoretically, not only for the author, but also for other participants in the events. And even get an answer "from the other side."

I expose it in open access as a gesture of support to those who also want to live fully in their worlds, but are used to the fact that everything needs to be squeezed into the generally accepted framework.

Grade: 83

There are people who meet and change everything. And it doesn’t matter who they are: from flesh and blood, living with you in the same reality, or heroes of films and books, or contactees from lucid dreams, or beings from the worlds-inside-the-head. The main thing is that they are alive: amazingly alive, unique. There are people whose meeting makes you suddenly actualize all the accumulated experience. Recall all the key events of your life. All friends and acquaintances, communication with which left a mark on the soul. All the books I've read, all the movies I've seen, all the music I've heard. It's like reassembling yourself at the point of crystallization and testing for strength. Shake off the dust from those stale layers of personality and memory that have not been used for many, many years. There are people next to whom you live in an incredible tension of all internal forces, in full force. You feel alive. Strong. Bright. And this communication requires a huge resource, but returns a hundredfold ...

This story to the unprepared reader may seem strange and confusing. Not a novel, not literary work, although perhaps it could be. If you add a beautiful fiction, fill in the gaps, remove all the "superfluous". Turn the priceless experience of live communication into a product ready to use. Unfortunately, or fortunately, I don't have the time or resources for that. These are diaries that are as candid as it is reasonable to be candid in the public domain. Because they are sometimes chaotic, sometimes without explanation. Diaries of communication with the world inside, with the "second reality", with the Land of Fantasy, if you like. This phenomenon has many names. For those who do not understand at all how it is, it can be compared with lucid dreams or, at worst, with a role-playing game. Of course, I don't physically move anywhere.. I see the events "with the inner eye". All conversations take place in thought space. Unlike simple fantasizing, events cannot be changed and corrected after the fact, what happened is irreversible for all participants. People from the “second reality” manifest their own will, and my task, first of all, is to hear them, and not my own interpretations. In this space, I have great opportunities - telepathy (although more like a thought-telephone), teleportation, the ability to return the dead and materialize objects. And even tune in different loci different speed time. However, as in the first reality, my ability to think and process information is limited. I cannot be an "omnipotent psychologist", know the content of all the books in the world, and so on. Alas, in order to know something, you need to let it pass through yourself, and this takes time. Even in a world where you are theoretically omnipotent. I also cannot use some forms of communication that are available to my friends from the "second reality". For example, I cannot be part of the Hain telepathic network, since the analysis and interpretation of such volumes of data is an impossible task for me here. And, of course, no foresight, no planned plot twists. Just like I don't know what will happen to me tomorrow in this our common world. Events that have already happened cannot be changed. The spoken words have already been spoken. But, as in the first reality, mistakes can happen. Especially in the interpretation of facts. In addition to "characters from the movie" in this story there are also my acquaintances from the Created Worlds (what is commonly called “origins” here). As a child, I did not separate “my own” and “foreign” characters, although I always had plenty of my own stories, everything that really hooked was reflected in my Created Worlds. Then I did not know the word "fan fiction", however, this is for the best: natural form Interactions with favorite characters for me were communication, and not just observation from the outside. And it was this communication, and not the opportunity to write a nice story, that was really important for me. Over time, under the influence public opinion, I somehow decided that it was undignified. A "real author" should only have originals. And you need to live this strange part of your life quietly and not show people (or better, probably, even forget and cross it out for yourself personally? ..) It took a lot of time to outgrow these prejudices and return to your real self. Recognize that it's the same main part my life, like everything else. Since then, things have become more difficult, but I have definitely become happier. And I can no longer imagine life without meeting and communicating with Zander from Logan or David from Testament. Specifically, this part of the diaries, "Everyday Scout", is about communication with David, but the direct background is "Friends-X". In general, "Everyday Scout" can be read separately. As for the people from the Created Worlds, you can read about the brightest personalities here (“Biography of Harro”, “Blackie”, “Black Demon”). For whom and why am I writing this? First of all, for myself, and here I am not dissembling: to keep this memory, to reread about significant events in my life damn nice. In the second - for those with whom I discuss our adventures and misadventures in personal correspondence or in a closed diary. This gives a complete feedback, discussion of current problems, the opportunity to ask for advice and get help and support both for myself and for my friends from the “second reality”. Naturally, no likes and reasoning about the plot, style and characters will replace this. Finally, this text is for those who have a similar experience, including the experience of sincere, lively communication with the heroes of their own Fantasyland, films, books, etc. Not for some practical benefit/popularity, not for putting on a literary form. And because without it it is impossible to imagine your life. Little is written about this, and someone should choose openness and frankness instead of hiding in a closet. What will you find here? Basically I'm interested in people. The fate and relationships of those about whom I write. Despite the fact that the story is told in the first person (since I am full member events), in general, I am more interested in what is happening around than I am a loved one. If at first there are quite a lot of me-beloved (but this is natural, the period of stormy acquaintance cannot be otherwise), then later in some chapters I generally only observe and talk about what is happening. So I definitely can't call myself the "protagonist" of this story. The main world in which most of the events take place is Paradise, the planet of engineers. All other worlds only casually intersect with the stories of "Prometheus" and "Covenant". You will meet here some acquaintances from the X-Men universe, Roy Batty from Blade Runner, and God knows who else it will occur to me or our other scouts to revive. Yes, for our story, the warnings “resurrection of the main character” and “resurrection of the main character” are more suitable for our story. minor character". Often death is just the beginning. The level of violence is high in places, but there is no savoring of tin for the sake of tin. Action also happens, and some more, but not for the sake of it. He comes to us rather than we ask for it. Good news for those who are interested in learning more about the race of engineers - we have already begun to dig about them, and we will dig further. And about the pathogen too. Of course, this is "not canon", but it does not contradict any canon events already shown on the screen. Also, expect acquaintances from all four classic parts of the Alien saga. Started with Bishop and Newt, continued with Ash and Ripley. And they got a sniff. Regarding genres and warnings: this thing can be attributed to the genre "Popadantsy" very conditionally, but there are no more suitable options anyway. In this interaction with the “second reality”, I do not go on quests and do not save the world. To the best of my ability and experience, I try to make the lives of people and other creatures that I encounter a little better. I communicate and observe. I don’t disguise myself, I don’t play the “hitman”, I honestly inform my interlocutors about who I am and where I come from, if such questions come up. To those with whom I have personal contact, I honestly tell about myself, about the world in which I live, about the events that take place in my life. Let me emphasize again: first-person narration is not a literary device. I am in the very literally I. All that is. And I don't know what I am. It's just right, like that Doctor, to ask myself if I'm a good person. But honest recording of events makes it possible to look back and think again: could you have said and done something differently? What would change? What are the conclusions? And also - it allows you to see how much the attitude towards people, the idea of their motives sometimes changes ... "Marty Sue". Since for many the author, who is personally present in the work and has almost unlimited possibilities, this is a kind of red rag and diagnosis, then I decided to be honest, not to wag my nerves with a collision with these people. I don't see anything wrong with great opportunities. Just tools that help to live and work. *** Well, if you are still not intimidated by such an introduction, I am glad to have you among my readers. This part of the story is about David from The Testament, who I sincerely think is an amazing guy. Yes, cruel, yes, broken wood, and yet amazing. Strong, free, determined, with an indestructible self-esteem. He taught me a lot, and I do not regret this meeting for a minute, about our communication, even if I had to almost fall out of reality for the whole spring and summer. There are people who are worth it. There are people who change everything. ***

Alien: Covenant hits theaters this week, and while it has some great moments, it also has some sort of weird moments. The film contains numerous revelations about what happened after " ", puts forward some big ideas that are important for the entire franchise, and also raises many questions, but not all (or even many) of which are answered at the end of the film.

Some questions are related to the franchise, others are related to the Testament.

How did the Covenant colonial mission miss the planet of the Engineers?

Somehow, the mission didn't find her when they were looking for planets that could support human life. And the Planet of the Engineers has been present for a long time. The Engineers were a highly advanced, cosmic species that arose much earlier than the rest of humanity. David and Elizabeth landed on their planet ten years before the events of Alien: Covenant and have apparently been receiving distress calls from the Engineers' Planet ever since.

MORE RELATED:

So, given that the planet has been habitable for humanity, and has been sending out signals for a decade, how could they have missed it when the Weyland-Yutani Company was looking for a place to colonize? Did David change the atmosphere to make it habitable after he arrived there for Elizabeth. Possibly, but unlikely, as we know from Prometheus that the Engineers can inhale the same atmosphere as us. Another possibility is that the Covenant was in space more than 10 years ago, before Prometheus completed its own mission, although this only explains the missed signal and not the missing planet as a whole.

Or maybe Weyland knew everything about the planet and its inhabitants and decided to stand by until she could come up with a decent plan to deal with it. On the other hand, a simpler explanation could be that the Engineers simply hid their planet from outside scanning.

How did Elizabeth fix David?

At the end of Prometheus, Elizabeth boards the Engineers' ship with David's head in a bag. We also hear short shots and see her take his body from another Engineer ship. In the promo prologue for The Covenant (a version of which appears in the film), we see her attaching a head to what appears to be his original body using some sort of Sonic Screwdriver type welding device. Unlike the moving parts of David's body, the new body does not appear to be solid.

MORE RELATED:

The prologue states that Shaw is not entirely competent at the job (with minimal tools), but in The Testament, David is in excellent condition.

How did Shaw manage to do this? She could partially fix it, then let David do the rest, but given the limited resources and not very advanced science of the time, we probably have to write it off as magic wand"Engineering technology helped rebuild it in a way that human technology couldn't." There is no evidence that this happened, but there is no other explanation.

Why did David kill the Engineers?

After long journeys to the Planet of the Engineers, David and Elizabeth have the distinction of killing everyone almost instantly. David expressed no desire to kill the Engineers before the voyage began. So what happened? This is not genocide on a whim. There seem to be three reasons. First, he wanted a clean slate from which he could continue his research without interruption. His quiet hatred of humanity intensified after Prometheus. David had a plan for the destruction of humanity, and he needed the Engineering Planet itself (and its technology) to carry out his plan. Even though the Engineers seemed to have a goal in Prometheus: "no more people". After killing Wayland and taking off David's head, it's unlikely that they would have been cooperative. Secondly, David probably wanted revenge for having his head torn off.

Thirdly, we know that David's hallmark is now to assert dominance over his creator. Most of all he hates the idea of being a slave to someone. The engineers, as the creators of his creator, represented the final version of his least favorite thing, and so they had to go.

Why did David kill Elizabeth?

David tells us (he's lying) that Elizabeth died during the ship's accident (which actually didn't happen). We know that she must have stayed healthy long enough to send out this distress signal, but she is absent from most of the film.

MORE RELATED:

Although later we see images of her body being dismembered and vivisected. At the end of the film, David says that he "will do to her what he did to Elizabeth", but what is that? It is believed that he kept Elizabeth alive for some time in order to extract human DNA and matter for use in his genetic engineering experiments.

In order to create xenomorphs and neomorphs, he probably needed some kind of human genetic material, given that the raw engineered "virus" is at least partially present in the host's body. This is stated in the movie, but we can also see it in the original Alien films, where Xeno takes on a smaller, more animalistic form when born to a dog (or bull, depending on the movie version) in Alien 3. Just ignore Shaw's baby squid in Prometheus. After all, "Prometheus" does not make much sense.

How does David have time to impersonate Walter?

Before a fight with his brother and arriving back at the Covenant, David took the time to melt his arm and repair his voice box. He needed to do these things in order to impersonate Walter in final act"Covenant". AT last time when we see him before deception, he is equipped complete set limbs, and Walter slapped him so hard that his voice took on that tremulous tone that reminded him of Ash and Bishop's final moments. However, a few minutes later he is wearing Walter's clothes, his arm is missing, and his voice sounds completely normal.

MORE RELATED:

The first two factors are understandable. A quick change of clothes is no problem, and in order to destroy the hand, David probably took some acidic blood from one of the many alien samples that lay around. But voice change and timelines are tricky. The first is because the Engineering Center has a really good universal repair technology, but the timing is more problematic. Although in fairness, it must be said that the meaning of time and place is not strengths"Covenant". Things just happen when the story needs to.

How do xenomorph eggs end up in Alien?

It seems that the aliens were not created by the Engineers, but by David. And no matter how you feel about it, this topic raises some big questions. For example, if the xenomorphs are David's creation and in fact his individual favorite monsters do what he wants (mostly kill humanity), and David has already killed the Engineers, then how do the E.T. eggs end up on the Engineers' ship at the beginning of the movie Alien 20 years later?

There are two options. Either the Engineers aren't all dead, maybe some survived, or they exist somewhere else. And at some point during the next two prequels, they will swoop in again to stop David's plan (despite the separation common purpose), steal his supply of eggs and send a warning message to planet 426 to protect the worlds. Possibly, but it doesn't make much sense at this time based on what we know about the characters' current motivations.

Maybe it's Daniels. It is possible that this is still a functioning Walter, who was repaired by the same technology Elizabeth used to fix David (although that would require further revelation that androids can be infiltrated with facehugger material). Of course, this last theory also has a major problem, that there are at least a third more Engineers than humans or synthetics.

In principle, there is no way to attach this storyline in existing knowledge about Aliens. These facehugger embryos, obtained by David at the end, explain how the Xenos come into the world, but it doesn't explain how the Engineers possess the Aliens. Although there may be a workaround, due to another issue that the "Covenant" raises. Namely:

How did David create the Aliens?

Is the creature that is born from eggs the ultimate, full xenomorph we know from the original movies? Nothing in The Testament contradicts this, but there are a few points to think about. For example, the eggs of facehuggers seem larger than those we are used to seeing, and the adult Alien himself feels more graceful and slender. Perhaps this is an almost finished prototype, which David will improve a little in the next two films. Again, Alien biology is capable of evolving a bit, so the differences may not be very large.

David Cronenberg is one of Canada's most celebrated directors, a forerunner of body horror and a favorite of art house fans around the world. His filmography is very unusual and varied. We have selected 5 films by David Cronenberg that will open the door to the dark and fascinating world of the director.

Like Tobe Hooper and George Romero, David Cronenberg made a name for himself with a series of low-budget horror films that shocked and astonished audiences with their sheer audacity and intelligence. But unlike the previous two filmmakers, Cronenberg managed to break out of that narrow genre category. Consistently studying the same topics in his works, the director managed to create his own, unique vision of cinema. Cronenberg's films have an amazing ability to delve into the collective unconscious of society and dig out all the twisted, repressed desires. modern life. His world is characterized by grotesque deformities, hallucinatory mutants and lust coming from the very beginning.

THE BROOD (1979)

After his early body horror films Convulsions and Rabies, Cronenberg decided to push the genre further and directed The Brood. it misterious story about a series of gruesome murders that involve a family whose mother is undergoing an experimental form of psychotherapy. In 1979, the film especially stood out for its bloody conclusion, but let's not forget the colorful characters: Oliver Reed as the sinister Dr. Hal Raglan and Samantha Eggar as the hysterical Nola Carveth, a woman who gives birth to her insane offspring through unbridled rage.

VIDEODROME / VIDEODROME (1983)

A long-time cult film, this film is best known for its vivid shots of James Woods' mutated hand and a seductive anthropomorphic TV. But there is more to this film. It was Cronenberg's reaction to the disgusting fear of videos that appeared in the early 80s. The film is a very nasty exploration of what can happen if viewers copy the extreme video of sex and violence available to them on tape. James Wood is great in the role of a television worker who wants to get to the bottom of the truth. But the movie's real star is Videodrome's dark philosophy, as it constantly asks provocative questions about society's relationship with entertainment technology.

THE FLY / THE FLY (1986)

The film that made history in the horror genre. The repulsive and at the same time mesmerizing visual effect of Seth Brundle's transformation, performed by Jeff Goldblum, not only amazed the viewer, but also earned the picture an Oscar in the category "best makeup". Despite the incredible visualization for those years, this is perhaps the least interesting part of the film. Like the previously filmed Dead Zone, The Fly is a tragedy in which life and relationships deteriorate as a result of an ill-fated scientific experiment. Brundle's demise plays out as fatal disease, slowly destroying it and leaving only a reflection of its own life.

CAR Crash / CRASH (1996)

A film that, in theory, should have been a huge commercial success, because on the screen you constantly see sex and cars. Based on the controversial book by James Ballard, Cronenberg's film is about a group of people who have developed a taste for the extreme fetish of car crashes. Visually reminiscent of pornography, this film sets a voyeuristic tone that is aesthetically cold and emotionally explosive. And although this picture is not as deep and sensual as some of Cronenberg's other films, "Crash" is a kind of hypnotic review of pleasure and modern sexuality, which is attributed to machines.

EVIL FOR EXPORT / EASTERN PROMISES (2007)

The brutality shown in "Vice for Export" is perhaps the natural culmination of Cronenberg's obsession with the subject. From the ruthless murder of a member of the Russian mafia, shown already in the first scene, to the magnificent fight in the bathhouse, the violence here is less common than in other films of the director, but more poignant and shocking. The characters' appearance is illustrated by the battle scars and tattoos they get through humiliation. And although the film does not show those ugly reincarnations and deformations that were in "The Brood" or "The Fly", inner world of these heroes is no less disgusting than appearance characters in his early work.

POV David We continue to walk through the tunnel and yet the nerves continue to "naughty". - It's minus 12. - Why doesn't the water freeze? Maybe it's not water. - Urine of the Martians, or what? - Is this your scientific theory? - Yes, theory. - It's something collagenous. Perhaps some precipitation. I close the detachment and I come across strange writings on the walls, a substance that covers them. Quite sticky to the touch and similar in perception to sulfur and methane. Quite unpleasant in smell to human perception. But the sensors can't recognize the exact composition. The language of the writings is in many ways similar to our language groups. Translation will be very interesting. “Impressive,” comes out of my mouth. Still, I am very similar to people ... I try to run my hand over the hieroglyphs in a certain sequence and suddenly ... The space begins to change, the air literally vibrates from vibrations, which caused panic among the crew. - What was it? - David?! - Miss Shaw. She's worried about me for some reason, - David?! – almost frightened, - What's there? - David? - Dr. Holloway can not stand it, because they feel the growing tension and strange sounds that are heard simultaneously from all sides. - David!!! This is nothing but a hologram showing people running towards me... of people? Definitely, they are somewhat similar to them. Only much larger and taller, and their bodies seem to be sealed in an exoskeleton. I stand still, trying not to miss a single detail and fixing what I saw in my memory as accurately as possible. My research potential has increased a hundredfold, as if the image of the creator on the hologram that ran through me added a new point to me. priorities. These impulses are akin to human, childish ones. Feelings of a pioneer. Creators existed. Elizabeth Shaw was right. I will find them. For her. - What was it? - It's good that we didn't take weapons. The team immediately rushes after the fleeing holograms. - Come on, let's go! - Demons! Faster! There! - Wait, where did he go? Elizabeth tries to find them by moving her flashlight down the hallway. “There it is, there it is,” says Dr. Holloway. - God, John. We found them. - Who is theirs? I come closer to the end of the corridor and carefully examine the body lying on the damp floor. He is dead. And a very long time ago. - They were. It looks like a door. And she beheaded him. - David, can you read this? Dr. Holloway asks. "Perhaps," I answer evasively. We are still rivals. Now it's my turn to show everyone, including you, that you should laugh last. - No, I'm out of here. - Hey, Fifield, where are you going? - Miss Elizabeth is unhappy that he does not obey her orders, but this is not worth my attention. Now my triumph. - What? - rather aggressively, but not enough to distract me, - Look, I'm a geologist, I love rocks. I love them. And you two obviously don't care about rocks. And you seem to be only interested in giant corpses. But as a scientist, I have nothing to contribute to the study of giant corpses! - he literally spits it in her face, - I'm returning to the ship. Do you mind? Is anyone coming with me? Are you staying? - No, I'm with you. - We're coming back. I congratulate you, you met with the forefathers, - the nerves passed and he leaves us along with another member of the team. A primal fear takes over. "Thank you," Miss Shaw says unwaveringly. - Pull yourself together! - the doctor tries to stop them, but Fifield and Milborn are inflexible, - I thought you were psychos, and you ... The thirst for knowledge drives us all forward: to know the unknown, to embrace the immense and to do something inexplicable, which later may be make legends. - Do you have a device? - All Elizabeth's attention belongs to the dead body, and mine is to decipher the symbols on the wall. - How long has he been dead? Even I am interested in the answer to this question. - About two thousand years, - it's hard to believe, but the hope of meeting the living is still unshakably glimmering in them. - What are you doing? - Now Miss Shaw's attention belongs to me. - I'm trying to open the door, - I answer with a slight smile, and continue to select the code for the lock on the door. - Wait. We don't know what's behind her - suddenly panic seizes her, and her eyes light up with a flash. Like an explosion with a capacity of hundreds of megatons. I like him. “Oops… Sorry.” The door opens, blasting steam at everyone gathered around it. I think I brought better prey to the female than Dr. Holloway. Let's see which one she prefers. - Look, here. This is the head, - now all attention is again given to the corpse, - How well preserved ... Just amazing ... - Let's take it. - Yes. We begin to inspect the discovered premises. - Strikingly similar to a man - after the words I uttered, Elizabeth carefully examines the room. On its threshold is a huge head, almost like a human. And then - a lot of strange vessels from a solid, metal-like substance. - Beautiful painting, - I remark, pointing to the vaults of the ceiling. "It's a fresco." Miss Shaw can't take her eyes off her, just like everyone else. I approach one of the hundreds of vessels, wanting to touch it. - No, no, don't touch! Elisabeth stops. “Sorry,” I say calmly. It's nice that, no matter who I am, she addresses me as her own kind and with respect. Worried about my "life". Strange heat is generated in the biofiber, although the sensors did not register a rise in temperature or pressure. “Please don’t touch anything,” Dr. Shaw repeats urgently, but without losing politeness. - It releases moisture, - I say, - Organic, - one of these flasks is a must, take it with you to the ship. “Oh my God, Charlie, the frescoes are changing,” Elizabeth says fearfully. “We must be influencing the atmosphere in the hall. Charlie, are you listening? - rushes to the exit, - Head! Ford, help me pack my head! - The search team, this is Janek, - the voice of the captain is heard in the radio speakers, - Come back. How do you hear? There is a storm, the speed of 200 kilometers per hour. Your suits won't hold. - You understood. But we're not done yet,” Elizabeth says. - I'm closing the lock in 15 minutes, - adds Miss Vickers, putting an end to this conversation, - I hope you have time. - Charlie, David, we must go! Elizabeth is picking us up. - It's just a grave ... - Holloway says clearly disappointed. - David? It's nice that I'm not forgotten. - All right, let's go. - David, we're leaving! - I might not remind, but the main thing is to take one of the flasks. We quickly move towards the all-terrain vehicles, not being distracted by anything on the way back. - Faster! Don't delay! - Search party, your time is running out. I repeat, your time is running out, - the captain reminds me somewhat irritably of the ultimatum delivered by Miss Vickers. - All right, we're going. - Come on, hurry up! We are trying to outrun a sand firestorm on an unknown planet, because if the team is even a minute late, the airlock will be closed. A test of strength for both people and technology. But then one of the most terrible, unforeseen things happens ... A gust of wind blows Elizabeth off the closing hatch, and she does not hold the container with her head. - Charlie, head! she shouts and rushes to the side, but cannot resist the alien hostile element. - Eli! What are you doing? - he rushes on the all-terrain vehicle after him, and now I have to save two already. I open the side door and, having secured myself with a long cable, I follow them. - David! First I insure Elizabeth, and then the doctor. I do it clearly and harmoniously, she should not be afraid or suffer. If she had been with me, this would not have happened. Now it remains only to pull them out and push them on board. How could you Eli? - Holloway shouts at her, - I almost ruined the whole operation! I'm not saying that you almost died yourself! - Are you okay? I ask in a calm and friendly tone. - Yes, - she nods, and a little later, catching her breath and returning to normal, she adds, - Thank you, David. - Please. - So guys, glad you're with us, but where are Milbourne and Fifield? - the voice of the captain reports the absence of two crew members. But they don't worry me. Elizabeth is alive and not badly hurt. This is the main thing. For some reason, right now, a poem I read pops up in my memory:

Her eyes don't look like stars

You can’t call the mouth corals,

Not snow-white shoulders open skin,

And a strand twists like a black wire.

With a damask rose, scarlet or white,

You can not compare the shade of these cheeks.

And the body smells like the body smells,

Not like a violet delicate petal.

You won't find perfect lines in it

Special light on the forehead.

I don't know how goddesses walk

But the darling walks the earth.

And yet she will hardly yield to those

Who was slandered in lush comparisons.

Right now, when no one cares about her, I understand how in a short two years I have become like chained to her. To my Elizabeth.
