Classroom hour. Topic: « Why are holidays necessary?.

(for students in grades 3-4)

elementary teacher classes

St. Petersburg GBOU lyceum 126

Target: - development of the student's reflection with the help of a special

Create an atmosphere of academic cooperation and greater

involvement students in the learning process;

Developing students as independent thinkers

acting personality;

Progress. First block.

The conversation began with the question of why do you need holidays.

- Why does a person need a vacation??

Has anyone thought?

Then to…

The children finish the phrase themselves, naming the action that took place in holiday.

Who would like to talk about their holidays?

The children were asked to first communicate in a group, learn about the summer experiences of their friends and tell about their impressions.

At the same time, the rules of communication in the group were reproduced, the order

speaking and listening to everyone.

After that, the children choose one person from the group, who summarized the performances of the group members and briefly told class about who spent their summer holidays. So everyone could get acquainted with the summer events of their classmates. During the presentation of each of the groups, speakers can talk first about themselves, and then about others. This situation leads to a conversation about an attentive attitude towards each other. Next, the teacher asked the children to choose a word that would characterize holidays from their point of view.

vacation! vacation!. it's time!

Each group was given a piece of paper, where for a certain time, discussing, they wrote down the characteristics of their emotional state summer. Here's what can turn out:

Joyful time;

It's time for rest;

Interesting time;

Favorite time;

It's time for the sun, etc.

Then one person from the group read out his list of words and explained the meaning of the concept that is embedded in it. "For us holidays were ... sometimes ...»

Along the way students asked for clarification of some characteristics of summer. "What did you mean when you said?", "What do you mean... it's time?".

For example:

Why nervous time?

Summer is a nervous time not for children, but for parents. After all, they worry about their children, because the children are alone at home, suddenly they will do something.

It was concluded that holiday- a fun time for children and experiences for parents. The same time is different for different people. The teacher asks question:

Could it be done in such a way that it was good for everyone?

Next, the teacher invites students to express all their sensations, feelings, moods in the form of colored daisies. Children work individually on landscape sheets with paints. Those who wished to explain their range of colors and the sequence of leaves in chamomile. Each color is associated with certain events in the student's life and the moods arising from them. Thus, it turned out to be much easier to tell students about yourself than to answer the question - how did you spend holiday?

Then the teacher invites the children to look at the summer in another form:

A magical garden grew on the board. Why magical? The trees in it are special. One "joyful", other "sad", "amazing", "thoughtful", "happy".

But they don't have leaves! Now let's try "put on" leaves. Remember all those events of the summer, moods and thoughts. Choose the tree where you would like to stick your leaflet, on which you will describe the event that causes you the corresponding feelings.

Children glue their leaves, someone "dresses" two trees at once.

The first stage of reflection was completed with an assessment of the children's motivation, where the children were asked to evaluate themselves according to five rulers.

1. My desire to go to school.

2. Parents make you go to school.

3. I go to school for knowledge.

4. I go to play and run.

5. Chat with classmates and friends.

After that, all levels were marked by children. (see photo)

Set the kids up for learning activities decided for everyone and everyone. The teacher thanks students for work and each other's children.

The second block can be done on the same day as the first block or the next day. This block is more related to the content side. holidays. Suggested question:

Can summer be called summer useful at times and why?

The teacher asks the children, using pantomime, to show what they have learned to do in the summer. Everyone guessed.

And there are questions that "torment" you? What questions would you like answered?

All those who wished to speak their questions. The questions indicated that the students still had much to learn. The entire set of questions was divided into three blocks. The teacher together with the children identified tasks for learning in the new academic year. To do this, first in groups, and then together on the board write down:

I WANT TO KNOW:

1. When did our planet originate?

2. I want to know Russian better

3. Last digit

I WANT TO BE ABLE:

1. Solve problems

2. Write test papers better

3. Write well

I WANT TO BE:

1. Literate

2. Strong

4. Policeman

From the entire list, in each column, the most real and significant tasks for us today stand out. "Informative" reflection is carried out on subjects. It will reveal the level of knowledge subject class, successes that can be relied upon while continuing the course, difficulties that need to overcome.

This reflection of summer holidays- emotional, personal and meaningful state, set the children on a new academic year and helped the teacher to clarify the program of their own pedagogical activities.

Communication Lesson (Classroom hour) : "How I spent my holidays" (6th and 8th grade)

Photo report and story of a social pedagogue Lyudmila Petrovna Anshukova about how the socio-game "directing the lesson" helped the students to discuss their autumn holidays with each other

We didn't have a math teacher at our school today. And I was asked to close the windows in the 6th and two 8th grades.

Since the fall break has just ended, I decided to conduct a “communication lesson” (essentially a class hour) with the goal of helping the children tell each other about how they spent their holidays. Guided by the principle of "133 hares", I chose the idea of "useful deeds" for the "seed". And here's what I got.

Lesson construction scheme

All classes worked in small groups. In the 6th grade, the teams were from "triples". But they arose “at will”, which means that boys and girls are separated (!). Then, in the 8th grade, I tried to divide into teams without deviating from the socio-game principles. Therefore, at first we had several “Scout” rounds (that is, we united in interchangeable pairs for speed and attentiveness). Then all the next line-ups of interchangeable pairs united with each other - it turned out to be fours (which arose "50 to 50": on the one hand, obviously by chance, and on the other hand, out of "contractual" sympathy).

Then all the teams equipped their workplaces and chose names for themselves. Sometimes unexpected and interesting, sometimes funny, and sometimes very catchy.

For example: "Smilies", "Chia's Sweet Home", "The Boys", " Real guys”, “Scrambled eggs”, “Fifa” - this is for eighth graders. And the names of sixth graders are somewhat different. For example: “Maid in Russia”, “Rafaelo”, “Landing”, “Cacti”, “Rabbits”, “Clever”, “Murzilka”, “Magnificent 3”, and even “Trinity”.

I remember once I had a Josephine team in the 6th grade, in which there were 3 girls and one boy. So I had to call him throughout the lesson nothing but Josephine (with complete and universal pleasure).

FIRST block of tasks. On the team lister, in just two minutes (!) You need to list all the useful things that they did during the holidays.

Two minutes later, the messengers figured out by counting whose team would be the first. The herald from this team read out the entire list of activities. The rest of the teams listened and ticked off those cases that had already been heard by the neighbors. The next team read out only what has not yet been named. As well as all other heralds.

On the board under the name of their teams, the messengers brought out two numbers: the first - the total amount of "useful deeds" sounded from all the teams, and through the fraction - how many deeds were read out by their herald, that is, they were not repeated in other lists (see above - photo "at the blackboard").

SECOND block of tasks. For eighth graders: to play a scene for each team on the topic of “useful work”, which they learned about from their neighbors. Everyone else had to guess.

But in the 6th "b" class, the task was different. The teams had to draw the most interesting thing in 4 minutes (but not from their list!). And then for 2 minutes to give to the neighboring team to improve their drawing.

When the drawing sheets returned to their authors, I moved on to the final block of tasks.

THIRD block of tasks. First on the relay (I usually do this with the transfer of " magic wand”), the sixth-graders remembered how to express their feedback, impression, satisfaction from someone else's work.

Then they wrote a review about the work of the artist neighbors, who were supposed to improve their original drawing. Let me emphasize that so far sixth-graders prefer brevity: Thank you. Great. Very beautiful.

At the end of the lesson, the teams read these comments and thanks aloud.

About the specifics of "useful deeds"

I was very pleased that both sixth graders and eighth graders wrote really interesting things about "useful deeds." There were also globalist formulations, for example: “we saved the world” (this is about cleaning up the garbage village) or “experienced the world” (this is about reading and the Internet). But they were quite specific, for example:

- transferred grandmother across the road

- fed stray dogs

- made feeders for homeless(?!) birds

- doing lessons

- read "The Captain's Daughter"

smile at the world

- help grandfather

- sat with small children

- planted oak trees

- helping the elderly

- Protected a homeless kitten

- Rescued the dog.

As a result, the children learned a lot of interesting, useful and instructive things about each other. And I did without frontal methods of conducting a conversation.

What I wish for others, sharing my social gaming experience...

About the business direction of the communication lesson

One of the teams first came up with the name "Robbers". But my children and I managed to convince them that it is better to choose something peaceful for the name. And then, after a couple of seconds, they turned into the Fantastic 4+ team.

When everyone began to remember their "useful deeds" done during the holidays, this same "Fantastic Four Plus" began to list the following: sick, jumping, walking, resting, sleeping, talking, etc.

When reading such a list, other teams began to make comments to them. They began to explain that these deeds were not always “useful” and that they were not “good deeds” at all. Therefore, for the entire list they were awarded only zero points. The team, apparently, really wanted to earn points for themselves, and then they hurriedly began to write those things that they heard about from the lists of other teams: they watered the flowers, went to the store, cooked breakfast, looked after their sister ...

If I had told them that they had previously listed not quite what they needed, it would not have touched them much. But when their classmates were indignant, it turned out to be significant for them. That is, when peers make a remark, understanding comes quickly.

I could only observe, be surprised and rejoice at how the children themselves discovered fundamental disagreements. And how quickly the “four plus” reacted to this. And how, embarrassed, the guys quickly began to correct their mistake (focusing on the things they liked from other teams).

I especially noted that the children were indignant without malice. And those and others. The quarrel disappeared without a trace when the violation of the “gaming agreement”, previously “voluntarily accepted by everyone”, was successfully corrected. And the course of the lesson continued in a business direction.

Sincerely,

Lyudmila Petrovna
