How the team was created

Two red-haired Samara brothers Konstantin and Boris Burdaev have been fond of music since childhood. From the age of eight they began their journey in the magical world of music. And already in 1998, the Brothers Grimm group was created. The family band was gaining popularity in his native Samara. The first concert was given at the local Medical and Technical Lyceum. Every year the band's song baggage grew. The guys decided to "take" the capital.

Three years later, the guys rolled to Moscow and performed with their Bossanova Band project. The real popularity came by chance. Several recordings of musicians fell into the hands of Leonid Burlakov. Within a few days, the cheerful twins were at their meeting future producer. From that moment on, everything began to spin as if by a wave. The guys had already recorded several songs for a week and began to give live concerts.

Clips and songs

From 2005-2010 The Brothers Grimm released 4 albums: Brothers Grimm, Illusion, Martians and Wings of Titan. During this period, six clips were recorded for the most popular songs. The guys received the Golden Gramophone award, became the laureates of the Song of the Year and received the Popov Prize as the most rotated band. The group became the best according to the radio "Maximum".

The success story was simply mind-blowing for the Brothers Grimm. The group, whose clips were as extraordinary as the performers themselves, conquered all the country's TV channels.

The popularity was enormous. Today, recalling those days, Konstantin Burdaev says that he was even exposed and he is ashamed of some of his interviews and arrogant actions.

In 2009, being at the peak of popularity, the team ceased to exist. Why the Brothers Grimm broke up, no one knew. According to the official version, the guys quarreled over the name of the group. Some fans thought the brothers decided to go their separate ways amicably, but that wasn't the case. Under the onslaught of problems in the team, Boris decided to take a sabbatical. And Kostya continued to perform, and a few days after the departure of his partner, he performed solo in one of the capital's clubs. During the year, the group worked in an updated line-up and even changed its name to "Grimm". But due to the rejection by the fans and the organizers of the new name, Konstantin had to return to old version the name of the group, so it is called to this day.

In 2010, Konstantin Burdaev's wife, Lesya Krig, suddenly died. The musician went deeper into creativity.

Brother Boris remained in Samara all this time, he even created the LIRRIKA team. But you can't call it successful. In 2014, a quarrel between the brothers turned into a public conflict. Boris decided to claim the rights to the band's first three albums, insisting that they were written by him. But the manager of the Brothers Grimm group announced that he would go to court and defend his rights.

The Brothers Grimm today

For six years of independent performances, Kostya, together with his colleagues, presented the audience with six video works and one album. The current composition of the team has become much more compact and updated almost completely. It consists of only four people - these are Konstantin Burdaev, Dmitry Kondrev, Stas Tsaler and Valery Zagorsky. So the Brothers Grimm musical group, which in just a few months managed to become a legend of domestic pop-rock, has almost completely changed. The repertoire of the "brothers" has also changed. The music has become lighter and even more positive.

In 2015, the guys recorded a new album called "The Most Favorite Music". The new album did not repeat the former success, despite the similarity. Perhaps, having reunited again, the brothers will be at the peak of popularity. Although there is no certainty in such a development of events, the real fans of the group hope for the reconciliation of their idols.

The Brothers Grim group was created in Samara in 1998 by twin brothers Boris and Konstantin Burdaev. In Moscow, with the help of producer Leonid Burlakov, they achieve real popularity. In 2009, your band broke up due to creative differences. What did the brothers Grim not share?

Konstantin (Brothers Grim Group):
The fact is that our group has not completely broken up. The Brothers Grim group is not two twin brothers, two twin brothers were the founders of this group. And since one founder left, the second remained, the group continues to exist. We recorded the fourth disc "Wings of Titan". The group exists, the group continues to write songs, there was a small castling. Instead of my brother, his ex-wife Katya Pletneva came to the group.

You recorded your second album in New Zealand, was there really no high-quality recording studio in Moscow?

Konstantin (Brothers Grim Group):
There are many high-quality studios, but in music, mood decides a lot. When you come to a studio in New Zealand, in a completely unfamiliar and unusual country, then you start to relate to the composition and the songs themselves with a different mood. It turns out a different result.

Were you not afraid that after your brother left you would be loved less?

You never know what you can do till you try. Naturally, many fans took this situation with hostility, then they realized that there could be no other situation, because my brother left the group for good at the moment. He goes about his business in the city of Samara, and we continue to move on.

AT creative plan I acquired myself, because before that the main songwriter and vocalist was mostly my brother. I had to take this burden entirely on myself. I doubted and looked at myself from the side for a long time. But I succeeded.

Katya, how does your husband feel about the fact that you spend more time with his brother?

We are old friends, because Katya Pletneva participated back in 1999 in the Brothers Grim group, she played the acoustic guitar, sang backing vocals, so she did not join the group, she returned. Katya is like a sister to me, I have known her for a long time, and we are connected by one musical karma.

I remember myself at that time, I treated people differently, for some reason I decided that it was my merit that what happened. In fact, this is the merit of the Lord God. I am ashamed that I somewhere said something wrong, looked at someone wrong. I'm ashamed of it.

It's no secret that my wife, with whom I spent 9 years together, passed away. It was a sudden death of a young girl, her heart could not stand it ... I still do not know what has changed, because too little time has passed. I feel like she is helping me now.

Let them call it whatever you like, the main thing is that we play these songs. Pop, rock, what's the difference, we are the group "Brothers Grim"!

In March 2009, you decided to return the name to the Brothers Grim group. Have you thought about changing the band's name to "Brother Grim"?

Konstantin (Brothers Grim Group):
The Brothers Grim is a famous group and famous brand. Confusing people, listeners, fans, program directors is a completely stupid thing to do. It doesn't matter where we went, even when our group was simply called "Grim", the posters said "The Brothers Grim", we could not fight it in any way.

The wife of the lead singer of "The Brothers Grimm" Kostya Burdaev Lesya Krieg died in the morning last Thursday at the Sklifosovsky hospital.

We are already in the same apartment as husband and wife. When Kostya left for Moscow, I honestly told him: I am not the wife of a Decembrist, I will not go after you and I will not wait for you by the window. He took his passport, met me at work, and we went to the registry office. Then Kostya left for the capital, and I stayed in Samara. Didn't want to move. Everything that I had in Samara, I achieved on my own. And losing it seemed unbearable. Moscow, which I used to love, at that moment I hated, because she took Kostya from me!

Once the landlady of the apartment that I rented said that I needed to move out urgently, Lesya continued. - It was a sign. I quit my job and went to Kostya. The year that we spent apart gave a lot to our relationship. There were many hours of nightly telephone conversations, during which time I wrote many poems and stories. But the most important thing is that I finally realized that my relationship with Kostya is more precious to me than my ambitions. - There is a romance - “She had no rivals,” the girl said. - Maybe it sounds arrogant ... I look at the fans condescendingly. I look and think: “Wow, what kind of Kostya I have!”. Although sometimes, to be quite frank, they strain me. Kostya Burdaev's wife asked to be buried in a pink coffin

This week marks 40 days since Lesya KRIG, the wife of the soloist of the Brothers Grim group Konstantin BURDAEV, passed away. She died on December 16 at the age of 30 from heart failure. In an interview with Express Gazeta, Kostya said that his wife had a premonition early death, therefore, categorically refused to have children. The songs of the artist, released by him on the last disc, turned out to be prophetic.

Lesya Krieg (real name Khudyakova. - N. M.) and Konstantin Burdaev met in Samara, where the 19-year-old beauty came to get a job on the radio.

Lesya became a star on the air, - says Kostya, - and I read the weather and news. We had an office romance with overnight stays under the window, letters and serenades, although both of us at that time had second halves. I dated a girl for four years, Lesya had a boyfriend - a party host Dmitry Pavlov. A prominent man who enjoys the attention of ladies. This jarred Lesya, so she chose me. I didn't have time to tell my girlfriend. She just saw us together and understood everything.

Khudyakova for a long time could not decide which of the men was dearer to her. When once again Dmitry came home, Lesya took the keys from him and immediately dialed Burdaev's number to consult if she got excited.

- Where did she get the pseudonym Krieg - war?

It suited her. I have never seen such a riot of character in any girl! She knew how to be a bitch. But at the same time she had kind heart. Lesya wrote poetry and dedicated many of them to me. Our relationship was stormy. It happened that the dishes were beaten, but they soon put up. Recent times we were not separated 24 hours a day.

- Was she a believer?

In the end, yes. She had a premonition that something bad might happen to her. Once I joked: "In your old age you will bury me." And Lesya suddenly said seriously: “No, Kostya, you will bury me. Remember, I want a pink coffin." When she died - suddenly, from heart failure, then I was looking for this for a long time. Found white with a pink tint. I always wanted a child, but my wife seemed to foresee that this should not be done. Of course, Lesya understood that she had a weak heart, which could not withstand during childbirth. At the same time, she smoked a lot: two or three packs a day. I tried to wean her, but my beloved was adamant. I remember she said: “I look at this world and I want to fly to Laos.” True, she promised to return. The last thing she gave me was a black shirt. I don't usually wear these, but unfortunately I soon came in handy.

That's bullshit. Her heart failed. Often the pulse went off scale. I offered to go to the doctor, but she refused. In character and energy, she was stronger than me, she could crush me with her arguments. I don't blame the doctors for her death, only myself. Maybe if I had found her in the bathroom earlier... I miss her warmth and care so much. There are still books with recipes written by her. I learned how to cook thanks to her. I dream of Lesya almost every day. In my dreams, she is happy. When I wake up and realize that she is not there, I think it would be better not to open my eyes at all. The only thing that saves me is the thought that my wife gave a lot of strength to the revival of the Brothers Grim group, and I don’t want to let everything go to dust. She will be offended if I now drop everything and go after her. I am 29 and will continue to live. And love Lesya for the rest of her life.

Doesn't it bother you that out of the two "Brothers Grim" only one remained in the group? Boris seems to have gone to Samara forever?

As for Boris, the man is tired. The "copper pipes" through which we passed made themselves felt. He no longer adequately perceive himself. Now he does what he loves. I do not think that Borya will return to the group.

- It is true that you took him as a keyboardist ex-wife- Katya Pletneva?

She is not for us. new person, as she has been with the group since 1999. Then we decided to make a purely male team. After her brother left, Katya was left alone, and I supported her.

Six years after they met, in 2004, they got married.

I came to visit him in a rented apartment, and one day I just stayed. But over the years, Borya has changed a lot. He became nervous, his outlook changed. He began to come drunk, and I never scolded, because I loved and forgave everything in advance. Once in Samara, Boris was so jealous of a friend of mine that he broke my glasses.

Who made the decision to leave?

Borya. He went on tour with his suitcases and never returned. I called, trying to understand what happened. In response, she heard: “I want to be free from everything. I don't need someone to live for me. I want to go outside and understand that I am alone.”

- How did you survive the breakup?

Kostya supported me. Pulled out of depression, offered to return to the group - I play several instruments. Although they are twins, they are completely different. In 2009, my husband and I filed for divorce, and I never saw him again.
