When will the reconstruction of Novorizhskoe highway be completed? Highway enthusiasts did not add enthusiasm.

In the spring of 2017, a new stage in history began at VDNKh - the revival of the Exhibition. A reconstruction program is being implemented on its territory, which has not been carried out on such a large scale since the mid-1950s. According to its results, VDNH will become the most modern museum, educational, entertainment and park complex not only in Moscow, but throughout Russia. The reconstruction program will turn VDNKh into a world-class attraction.

Modernization of engineering networks of VDNKh

By the end of 2017, a comprehensive program for the modernization of engineering networks at VDNKh was completed - in total, more than 130 km of underground utilities were replaced and modernized, which now meet all modern requirements.

The sewerage, water and heat supply systems were completely updated, and overhead wires were removed underground as part of the Clear Sky program.

The engineering infrastructure of VDNKh has not been updated since 1954. Heat and electricity networks, water supply and sewerage lines were not only worn out, they had completely exhausted their resources and did not meet safety requirements.

Outdated communications required constant repair. This led to shutdowns of water, heat supply, electricity, and affected the operation of the complex as a whole. Pipe breaks turned into erosion of lawns and asphalt failures, threatening the foundations of buildings.

Without modernization it was impossible to hold exhibitions international level: due to the inconsistency of engineering networks with modern standards, it is simply impossible to place expositions with valuable works of art in the pavilions.

Upgraded:

  • 130 kilometers of engineering networks
  • 26.9 km of wires removed underground as part of the Clear Sky program
  • 20 km of new pipes laid
  • 11.5 km – sanitation of rain sewerage

New technologies and materials make it possible to operate them without replacement for 20 years.

Among other things, the updated cable infrastructure will provide the entire territory of VDNKh with high-speed wireless Internet.

The entire active territory of the Exhibition will be covered with video surveillance, which will make walking around it even safer.

Most of the pavilions of the Exhibition have not been restored since they were built. In 2014, the first renovation work began. Some of the pavilions that need a comprehensive renovation are already being restored, and a total of 37 historical pavilions are planned to be restored.

After a comprehensive scientific restoration of the Cosmos pavilion, the largest museum and educational center Cosmonautics and Aviation was opened in it in Russia and the world. The facades of the "Central" and "Agriculture" pavilions, the restored "Kazakhstan" pavilion, the arches of the Main and Northern entrances have already been restored. Pavilions No. 16 "Hydrometeorology", No. 27 "Physical Culture and Sports", No. 28 "Beekeeping", No. 36 "Cinema Museum" were opened after a major overhaul. They house new museum, exhibition and leisure centers.

The famous VDNH fountains were built in 1952–1954 and have not been extensively restored since then.

14 fountains of the Central Alley have already been restored, which are located in octagonal bowls lined with red granite. Engineering equipment was replaced in the fountain complex, concrete bowls and pits were repaired, and the granite lining was renewed. All work was carried out in strict accordance with the 1954 project.

After a 30-year break, the Golden Ear, the most spectacular fountain of VDNKh, has been restored and launched. These are 66 jets of water, 30 of which reach 25 meters in height.

The Kamensky pond, over which the Golden Ear rises, was also put in order. It was cleaned for the first time ever. As a result, the depth of the pond increased by 0.79 meters - 18 thousand cubic meters of silt and clay were taken out of it. Additionally, a bridge for feeding fish was updated here.

The restoration will also affect the world-famous VDNKh fountains "Friendship of Peoples" and "Stone Flower". Both the architectural elements and the engineering infrastructure of the fountains, which have fallen into disrepair over more than 60 years, will be restored.

After the completion of the reconstruction program, the concentration of various museums on the territory of VDNKh will be the highest in the capital, and the Exhibition will become the largest museum complex countries.

AT Pavilion No. 36"Product processing Agriculture”the Central Museum of Cinema operates, where you can trace the evolution of cinema from the very first films to the present day.

Center "Cosmonautics and Aviation", which is located in the historical pavilion No. 34 "Cosmos", shows the past, present and future of Russian space and aviation science and technology.

The Space Museum consists of three zones. Space Boulevard houses full-size mock-ups spacecraft from first satellite to modern missiles. In the "Design Bureau" you can learn about space medicine, planetary research, get acquainted with the space industry. And the "Cosmodrome of the Future" presents pictures of the future of astronautics, drawn by science fiction writers and futurologists in collaboration with scientists.

AT pavilion No. 28"Beekeeping" created the Bee Museum. The pilot launch of the museum and exhibition exposition is planned for September 2017.

Updated Book Pavilion(pavilion No. 516) is another example of how a Soviet building is rethought in the 21st century, returning the original functions of a public space for intellectual leisure. In fact, the House of Books at VDNKh has already become a modern reading club open to everyone.

Museum and educational platform of international level, dedicated to the history, present and future of Russian literature, will open in the pavilion No. 58 "Agriculture".

On the base pavilion No. 19"Mechanization and electrification of agriculture" will be a national museum center dedicated to the nuclear industry.

After restoration in Pavilion No. 66"Culture" a museum and exhibition space will be created - the ROSIZO Gallery, which will represent Russian art XX-XXI centuries.

Completed this summer improvement of the Central Alley: over 120,000 replaced square meters asphalt and 15.5 kilometers of curb.

In the parterre zone of the Central Alley, a large-scale restoration of VDNH flower beds has been completed. The flower gardens were restored to their historical appearance of the 1950s, when the landscape design of the VDNKh territory was considered a masterpiece of gardening art not only in the USSR, but throughout the world.

Based on archival materials from the 1930s–1950s, unique compositions of annual plants and roses were recreated, more than 4,000 of which were planted along the perimeter of the suite of fountains. Also, 12 thousand flower beds are divided between the bowls of the fountains. In the summer of 2018, VDNH guests are delighted with white allimus, cannes, blue verbena, gray cineraria and blue sage - more than 20 thousand flowers in total. Here, as well as along the entire length of the lawns and flower beds of the central alley, more than 20 thousand cubic meters of fertile soil were laid to make the planted flowers and plants feel comfortable.

In the summer season of 2018, unique rose gardens were restored at VDNKh - the northern and southern ones. The first one is located near the Grand Walking Alley, and the second one is next to the Central Pavilion.

Behind the Central Pavilion, between the fountains "Friendship of Peoples" and "Stone Flower", the flower parterre has been renovated. Its patterns were also restored according to the drawings of the 1950s. In total, about two million flowers and 18 thousand shrubs were planted on the territory of more than 170 thousand square meters.

The Kamensky pond, over which the Golden Ear fountain rises, was also put in order. It was cleaned for the first time ever. As a result, the depth of the pond increased by 0.79 meters - 18 thousand cubic meters of silt and clay were taken out of it. Additionally, a bridge for feeding fish was updated here.

After reconstruction, the territory of the Exhibition will include seven park zones: Central Alley, Amusement Park, Landscape Park, Crafts Park, Knowledge Park, EXPO exhibition area and Ostankino Park. In addition, VDNKh will have a large promenade on the basis of the Ring Road, which will connect the remote parts of the Exhibition.

All future zones will be adapted for people with limited mobility. The pavilions will be equipped with ramps, lifts, wide openings that will make them accessible to visitors with disabilities.

With the end of the program for the revival of the Exhibition, attendance at VDNKh will increase from 25 million to 40 million people a year, and the number of Russian and foreign tourists will increase by at least a quarter.

In New Moscow, work continues on the reconstruction of the Kaluga highway - the main highway in the annexed territories. All work at the facility is carried out by the ARKS group of companies.

The four-lane road no longer meets its new status as the main thoroughfare of New Moscow. And taking into account the fact that soon the population in the annexed territories will grow to 1.5 million people, the modernization and renewal of Kaluzhka has become extremely relevant.

"Bandwidth After reconstruction, the Kaluga highway should grow by 2.5 times, which will make it possible to successfully cope with the ever-increasing traffic flows," the ARKS Group of Companies noted. First of all, the reconstruction of the highway is designed to create all the necessary conditions for buses and trolleybuses. Specially for public transport additional lanes were erected in each direction.

In addition, conditions for motorists are improving. As noted in the Organization Center traffic Moscow, the speed on the renovated highway will increase by 20%. For example, now about 35,000 cars a day pass from the section from the village of Sosenki to the village of Minzag. After the completion of the reconstruction of the Kaluga highway, this figure will increase by at least 12 thousand.

Not less than important task is the formation of transport links between the quarters adjacent to the highway, noted in the ARKS Group of Companies. "For this, alternate roads are being built along the main passage. They allow to significantly relieve the highway, because residents of nearby microdistricts do not need to go to the main highway, drive for several kilometers, and then turn back onto the intra-block passage," the company said.

The first stage of work on the highway was completed in May last year. Builders have reconstructed the main course of the highway from Moscow ring road to the Sosenki village. About 26 kilometers of roads were built and modernized, including eight of them - the main highway of "Kaluzhka", as well as 4.5 kilometers of traffic intersections, 12 kilometers of side roads.

There were four transport tunnel with a total length of more than 2.5 kilometers, three bridges across the Sosenka River and the same number of overpasses. Pedestrians were not forgotten either: two elevated and five elevated crossings were built for their safety.

In December last year, as part of the second stage of the reconstruction of the highway, ARKS Group of Companies completed work on the section from the village of Miloradovo to the science city of Troitsk - a total of 14 kilometers. New overpasses, bridges and noise barriers have appeared here.

The first overpass is located at the intersection with the entrance to the Arkhangelskoye rest house, its length exceeds 32 meters. The second is a reversal, it is located near the bridge over the Desna River. The length of the flyover is 76.02 meters.

The builders erected the third overpass in the immediate vicinity of the rapidly developing area of Novye Vatutinki. Among the other two, it is the longest - more than 307 meters. Despite the fact that, according to the terms of the contract, the site was to be commissioned in 2018, the builders managed to complete it before the end of 2017.

Currently, work continues on the construction of the Vatutinki bypass. Thanks to the traffic lightless traffic along the main course and the exit from the old Kaluga highway to the new one, the traffic situation in this area will significantly improve. "At the initial and final sections of the bypass, two-level traffic interchanges will be built, the fourth and fifth overpasses will open. A bridge across the Pakhra River will also be built," the construction company said.

Work continues to ensure safety and comfort for pedestrians, as well as peace and tranquility for residents of nearby houses. The site reconstruction project provides for the construction of three underground and eight overground passages, as well as 30 noise barriers. Their installation began just a few days ago.

"At the moment, concrete work has been fully completed, and we have begun glazing the facades of four elevated pedestrian crossings across the Kaluga highway in the area of the village of Knyazevo, the village of Desna, ST Rakitki and in the area of \u200b\u200bthe 34th kilometer of the highway," said the press secretary of the ARKS Group Irina Vasilyeva.

Work on the installation of metal structures of elevated pedestrian crossings in the area of the village of Zarechny does not stop. Concrete work has been completed near the Desna River and the 36th kilometer, preparations are underway for the installation and glazing of facades. In addition, concrete work has been completed at all underground pedestrian crossings.

The complete reconstruction of the Kaluga highway should be completed in October 2018. Residents of New Moscow will receive a first-class highway that fully complies with modern safety standards. As Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin noted, thanks to the renovated Kaluzhka, New Moscow is becoming an integral part of the capital.

If you have not been to VDNKh for a long time, then already near the entrance you might think that you won’t be able to walk around the exhibition. The entrance arch is covered with scaffolding and green mesh, the central alley to pavilion No. 1 is fenced off.

Today, construction is history tomorrow, - the VDNKh press service will say lyrically. - In fact, pavilions, cafes work at the Exhibition, events are held. There are some inconveniences, but this is temporary.

14 fountains and 37 pavilions

Restoration of the pavilions began three years ago, and in 2017-2018, a large-scale restoration of 14 fountains and 37 historical pavilions is planned, which for the most part have not been repaired since they were built. A major overhaul with the restoration of facades will be carried out at the Green Theater and the Cosmos pavilion.

Most of the fountains have not been restored for over 60 years. The legendary fountains "Friendship of Peoples", "Stone Flower" and "Golden Ear" in the dam zone of VDNKh also need work. It is necessary to completely update the water supply and sanitation systems, as well as re-create some historical decorative elements, - they said at VDNKh.

Amusement park

Construction is about to start theme park attractions. It will be located in the southern part of VDNKh. The park will be open all year round. The project is being carried out by the Italian company that built the famous Disneyland in Paris.

The new park will have five unique rides. Glass towers will appear throughout the territory, which will architecturally repeat the objects of VDNKh - as if parallel to Moscow. A cable car will also be created here, along which “flying” buses, trams, airships will move. It will also be possible to fly over Moscow on giant butterflies or go on a trip on the Time Metro. Tickets for attractions will be from 300 rubles.

And the main feature of the renovated VDNKh will be the highest 140-meter Ferris wheel in Europe, which will be 5 meters higher than the famous London Eye in the UK. The park is scheduled to open in autumn 2018.

New pavilions and museums

After reconstruction, new pavilions will be built at VDNKh on the site of abandoned outbuildings. At the intersection of Sirenevaya Alley and Okruzhnaya Road, the Model of Moscow pavilion will open at the end of 2017.

It will be an oval building with panoramic windows and an internal hall where you can look at 9,000 miniature buildings, streets and squares of Moscow. Inside this pavilion there will be an area for lectures, master classes and workshops.

Also, a pavilion of the state corporation Rosatom will be created on Industry Square, where there will be the largest museum dedicated to the development of the nuclear industry in Russia. The builders will try to introduce the idea of "lack of visible borders" into architecture and create a huge glass "showcase".

Work continues on the creation of 11 museums, including the State Central Museum of Cinema in pavilion No. 36, the Cosmonautics and Aviation Center in the Cosmos pavilion, an international museum and educational platform dedicated to the history, present and future of Russian literature in pavilion No. 58 " Agriculture”, the Bee Museum in Pavilion No. 28 and others. Also, a museum will appear right inside the main entrance of VDNKh, dedicated to history and development of the Exhibition.

BY THE WAY

11 museums will open

Among them:

State Central Museum of Cinema in Pavilion No. 36,

Center "Cosmonautics and Aviation" in the pavilion "Cosmos",

Museum and educational platform of the international level, dedicated to the history, present and future of Russian writing in pavilion No. 58 "Agriculture",

Bee Museum in Pavilion No. 28 and others,

Museum dedicated to the history and development of the exhibition (inside the main entrance of VDNKh).

Moscow. Early morning. East of the capital. The traditional traffic jam on sh. Enthusiasts. People are rushing to work. This auto-apocalypse has been going on for years. Someone is used to it, someone cannot accept it. We have written many times in the media, posted posters, discussed on forums and networks, and nothing!.. Nothing has been happening for several years. This is in reality, but according to documents and statements in the media reconstruction in progress long-suffering highway. Only the picture does not change. All the same pits, potholes, islands in the middle of the road made of concrete blocks and dull fences made of green nets.

The author of these lines happened to work for about a year as a driver. And I used to be in this part of the city in different time days. Alas, the highway of Enthusiasts did not increase my enthusiasm. The crowd on the road is almost always present. When I had to stutter about this road in front of my colleagues at the helm, in response I heard heavy sighs, curses, saw contrite shakes of my head. So, during my work as a driver, the reconstruction did not improve the situation on the highway. Only potholes and accidents became more.

The situation is no better for pedestrians. In general, everything looks good, but there are still reserved places with spontaneous construction storage areas, pedestrian barriers and places where the sidewalk turns into a path with chomping mud (see photo).

Usually, all major reforms, changes, transformations are made in order to improve the current situation or avoid deterioration. This is accepted all over the world, but not in Russia! Road repair in our country is akin to oil production. Building well and for a long time and on time is not in our traditions, simply because it is inconvenient to steal the allocated money. Therefore, builders often change the project, put asphalt, remove it, put it again. They play into the hands of the protests of the residents of the surrounding areas and car owners. Then it turns out that due to a change in the project, there was not enough money, the reconstruction is suspended or frozen, and so on ad infinitum.

Everyone understands this very well, as they understand that patience is not eternal even with God. With this in mind, Andrey Bochkarev, Head of the Moscow Construction Department, said: "The reconstruction of the Enthusiasts Highway will be completed by the next City Day, while it is possible that some sections of the route will be opened in the spring of 2017." But believe in exact dates promised by the builders in our time is like bowing to Satan. And Bochkarev made it clear that not everything is so simple: “We hoped that everything could be done more or less quickly, but it did not work out. Nevertheless, we will make every effort to hand over this object by City Day 2017, and we will probably open something for traffic in the spring.”

It is difficult to say how, when and under what circumstances this road-building nightmare will end. In preparing the material for this article, I personally traveled by car and walked around all the problem areas of this object, and only in isolated cases did I see sluggish work. The remaining repair areas were simply empty and, at best, were fenced off. This can be seen from the photographs posted on various sites and forums. At the same time, the amount of imperfections is simply amazing. At such a pace, Bochkarev's words about the deadlines for delivery may turn out to be a mere shaking of the air.

Analyzing what problems the builders faced during the reconstruction, you understand that all of them could have been taken into account even at the preparation stage. Highway of Enthusiasts is surrounded by industrial zones with large enterprises. In order to carry out communications, it is necessary to carry out a survey of a federal property site, decide which part of the enterprise’s equipment to dismantle, transfer to the register of liberated territories, then to the property of the city of Moscow. Only then on this square. But Russia is strong in hindsight, so construction problems are solved as they arise, including design estimates. All the same, without this road, which runs through industrial zones and enterprises, there is nowhere to go. And in the budget, money will be found one way or another.

Still, I want to believe that the Moscow authorities will pay attention to such a heavy long-term construction, the wailing of motorists and residents. A road is not a building that can stand unfinished for years. The comfort and well-being of the capital, and not only car traffic indicators, directly depend on this facility. The Highway of Enthusiasts should become a normal road that lives up to its name, and not a possible source of income for corrupt circles.

In New Moscow, work continues on the reconstruction of the Kaluga highway - the main highway in the annexed territories. All work at the facility is carried out by the ARKS group of companies. The builders are gradually turning "Kaluzhka" into a safe, comfortable and convenient road. Dni.Ru decided to find out how the work is progressing at the moment.

New Moscow will be seven years old this year. The annexed territories are actively developing: housing and social infrastructure are being built, and major transport projects are being implemented.

One of them is the reconstruction of the Kaluga highway. The four-lane road no longer corresponded to its new status as the main thoroughfare of New Moscow. And taking into account the fact that soon the population in the annexed territories will grow to 1.5 million people, the modernization and renewal of Kaluzhka has become an extremely urgent issue.

The ARKS group of companies is one of the leaders in the construction market of the Moscow region. Reconstruction among the largest objects Kashirskoe highway, a transport interchange between the Moscow Ring Road and the Veshnyaki-Lyubertsy highway, the reconstruction of the Dmitrovskoye highway, as well as a number of other large city projects.
