Due to the busy schedule, not so much. Yesterday I managed to get a manicure and pedicure for the first time in the last month and a half. I like to take care of myself, but there is not always enough time for this. If there is a couple of free hours, then I'd rather spend them with the children.

What cosmetics do you always carry in your bag?

Hand cream. Toothbrush and paste. All. Here is my entire set.

You, as an athlete, for sure strict regime, proper nutrition and healthy lifestyle life. But maybe there are still some weaknesses that you cannot refuse?

You know, any self-respecting and self-loving person adheres to the principles proper nutrition and the regime, you just can sometimes afford something in moderation, and a glass of champagne has never killed anyone. Everything in moderation, everything is only good for the body.

I also like rhythmic gymnastics, but one can say that my mother completely guessed the sport when she took me to figure skating, which she herself once dreamed of doing in her youth. When I was four years old, an indoor skating rink was built in our city and, of course, there were no questions about which section to send me to. This is the right set of circumstances.

Did you like figure skating as a child?

Many people ask me about this. Yes, I've always liked it. For me, the biggest punishment was the inability to go to training. But, of course, the decision to send me to figure skating first of all belonged to the parents, because at the age of four, a child simply does not understand this yet and cannot make a decision on his own. But it just so happened that I liked it.

Have you ever had a desire to scroll back in time and connect your life not with sports at all?

No, there has never been such a desire. The only thing I would change in my life is that I would never let my mother get the rights if I knew that everything would end so tragically. This is the only thing I would change in my life, nothing else.

Have you already put your eldest daughter on skates?

Yes, for a while she enjoyed going to the skating rink. Later this interest disappeared. And this summer, when we worked for four months in Sochi with the musical "Carmen", she was engaged in rhythmic gymnastics in the section. We try to have sport in life, but not in a crazy way.

That is, you will not insist on a sports career?

No, we want to invest in the child to the maximum, give education, knowledge of languages ​​- everything that was once in tsarist Russia. A girl should be a girl: to be able to do a lot of things, to know a lot of things, but at the same time behave with dignity.

In addition to rhythmic gymnastics, are there any other classes?

Of course. They have a compulsory sport in school primary school- swimming. That is, this is all at a serious level, they even pass some tests. Plus dancing and gymnastics. She really wants to ride horses, but, unfortunately, she has a wild allergy to animals, so this is impossible.

What about some creative hobbies?

My daughter draws well and loves it. We don’t send her to art school – it seems to me that classes at home are enough. In a year, maybe he will start playing music.

With a little mini-gymnastics I do, it is useful for her. And the eldest is already a very active child, she runs all the time. They have school schedule from eight-thirty in the morning to six in the evening, and during this time they have time to walk, run, play and let off steam.

If we are not present on a certain day of their life, then we will definitely make a morning, afternoon and evening call. There were even moments when I read them books on Skype. My second pregnancy was wonderful, but the final was a little premature - I flew away, Lisa ( eldest daughter Tatyana Totmianina and Alexei Yagudin - ed.) was not ready to be left like this. So we woke up together on Skype, read books on Skype, there were such moments. And so, of course, to read a book, take a walk together - all this is there.

They love to visit an amusement park with dad or go to the movies. So there are rituals. The biggest ones are the birthday and the New Year, because, it seems to me, these holidays are very much postponed in the memory of children, so we try to be together, to do something special these days.

In parenting, which one of you and your husband is the "good cop" and which one is the "bad cop"?

Our father is a gingerbread man, our mother is a whip. So that's how it turned out. But we initially had an agreement that even if someone does not agree with the opinion of the other, it is impossible to contradict each other. That is, if I tell the children that something cannot be done, then Alexei does not come up and does not say that, on the contrary, it is possible. We try to blow on the same tune, but at the same time, our dad is a "good cop."

I can’t say that the principle has changed, but I have become a little calmer. With my first daughter, I always wanted everything to be perfect, there was wild perfectionism. Alexei: Tanya and I are used to living for today, rarely when we plan far ahead. But about the second child, I confess, I often spoke, dreamed that someday we would have another daughter. Tanya answered this: “Give birth again? Never!” I understand. Liza, our eldest, was not easy. Tanya had a caesarean section, so the birth of her second child also required an operation. However, I was sure: time will pass and she will change her mind. Actually, we want three children.

Tatiana: The birth of Lisa is largely my initiative. I started talking about wanting a baby. Perhaps Lesha dreamed of the same thing, but at first he clearly doubted whether it was too early, whether he was ready to take responsibility. and Lesha wanted another daughter. Here I was in no hurry. Not that the birth itself scared me - I experienced a fear of a different order. Lisa was born the same year my mother passed away. I left the hospital in complete confusion: how to live? who will help us? I didn't even want to think about a second child. I have a daughter and it's great! But time passed, our friends and acquaintances had second, third children, and this influenced Lesha. Once he told me: “That's it, we need a second child, period!” I had to combine our work schedules in order to see each other more often. (Laughs.)

Alexei: Yes, at some point I insisted. We were going to give birth in the summer, when there is a pause in the ice projects and the skaters are resting. After all, Tanya skates in a pair with Maxim Marinin, and we had to guess so as not to set Maxim up, not to deprive him of his job. No matter how hard they tried, it didn’t work out in the summer - the daughter was supposed to be born in November. But... Michelle was born two months earlier. Alexei: Of course, I was worried. But in general, I'm always positive. My fellow figure skaters even called me Luck Man, and if, say, we are late for the flight, they say to each other: “Don’t worry, Yagudin is with us, so we’ll make it.” And we really make it. Somehow, I am absolutely sure that everything will turn out the most in the best way. Probably, this inner feeling helped Tanya and me to survive the first, most difficult months of Michelle's life.

Why was the baby born earlier? Tanya, did you work to the last? Little rest?

- On the contrary, already on the 12th week she went on maternity leave: all our projects ended at that time. Enjoyed life, walked, did yoga. There were no signs of complications.

Alexei: Tanya was in France with Lisa (the Yagudins have a house not far from Paris. - Approx. "TN"). And suddenly, in SMS, she tells me that she doesn’t feel well. The question of where to give birth - there or in Moscow - did not even stand, and although the deadline had not yet come, I asked Tanya to urgently fly home. You never know! I met her at Sheremetyevo, and in the evening I went to Sochi for a performance. By the time she got there, she had already been admitted to the hospital. I should be next to her, but in our ice show I have no replacement. I felt completely powerless, I understood that

I can’t influence the situation in any way, so there was only one thing left: to drive bad thoughts and believe that everything will work out. Frankly, I was not aware of how dangerous preterm labor is. And Tanya (what a character!), Having learned from the doctor that urgent hospitalization was required, she got behind the wheel and drove to our country house to feed the dog and attach it somewhere for a while - and only then returned to the hospital.

Before the evening performance, she called me and said that she was being taken to the operating room. I can’t express the emotions with which I skated that evening! That same night I flew to Moscow and immediately went to the hospital.

Tatiana: Lesha did not realize the complexity of our situation. Well, I didn’t explain - I didn’t escalate the situation, I wanted him to maintain his characteristic positive. Lesha rushed when Michelle was already born and she was placed in intensive care, as it should be for a premature baby. I myself was in the intensive care unit, I was not allowed to get up, and I asked Lesha to go and take a picture of our girl. Five minutes later, he returned, saying: everything is bad, the child is wrapped with wires from head to toe, all in tubes ... Michelle was connected to an artificial respiration apparatus, and Lesha felt sick there. At the same time, he continued to piously believe that everything would work out, you just need to be patient. He was so happy about the birth of his daughter that almost at every corner he told everyone about it. And I, on the contrary, closed myself: I didn’t want to discuss the health of the child with anyone. Doctors openly said that the condition was serious. As soon as I was allowed to walk, I began to visit the children's department every two to three hours. She asked the nurses: “Well, is she breathing on her own?” - "No, not breathing ..." And so for six days in a row. Doctors are superstitious people: even when they see an improvement, they don’t talk about it, they don’t give hope. When they removed at least one tube from Michelle,

I noticed this and rejoiced, considering it a victory. And then, finally, I come to her, and a young nurse says from the threshold: “Your one is breathing!” I burst into tears ... Lyosha did not know about all this. I sent him photos of Michelle with notes that everything was fine. Well, what could he do to help?

The hope that the terrible was left behind was strengthened on the 11th day, when the child was transferred to the so-called second stage of rehabilitation - weight gain. Even then, anything could happen at any moment. For another three weeks, my daughter was in the clinic under the strict supervision of doctors, and I was discharged and even went on the ice. We took her quietly, without advertising this event. Lesha played "Carmen", after which we went to the hospital at night and brought our daughter home, where every centimeter was disinfected the day before.

- Probably, did not leave the child for a minute?

Tatyana: I am a restless mother, but I immediately assigned Michelle to her room. Lesha and I are against children sleeping with their parents in the same bed and not getting off their hands.

Alexei: When we got Lisa, I let her know that no one was going to react to her every squeak. If she - well-fed and clean - burst into tears, we did not approach her. Tanya, of course, was torn, but I just didn’t let her. As a result, we have an independent child, who always knows how to occupy himself. We did the same with Michelle. She lets us sleep at night.

- How did Lisa react to the fact that now she is not alone with her mom and dad?

Tatyana: When we said that she would soon have a brother or sister, she got excited. She followed me with her tail and kept saying: “Maybe

Alexei: The first time she saw Michelle was in the hospital. She was not allowed into the ward, Liza had to stand behind the glass and watch Tanya feed the baby. At the same time, she anxiously asked me: “Dad, why is mom looking at the baby so tenderly ?!” I tried to explain that this is not an outsider girl, but her Native sister, said: "You will love her too, you will play together, be friends." I understand that this is hard to believe when a sister is the size of a loaf. Lisa suffered from jealousy and fell ill the day we brought Michelle home.

How has your second child changed you?

Tatyana: Sometimes I just stand over my daughter's bed and I'm afraid to move away: it seems to me that she will feel bad. Lesha drives: they say, get out of here, she has everything

in order. I can't let anyone near her! Within a week, I fired three nannies - it seemed to me that they were doing everything wrong. Complete schizophrenia! (Laughs.) Now, if we are leaving together, my dad, a doctor by education, helps out, I completely trust him. And when I need to go away alone on business, Lyosha remains with the child. He is a fearless father. He coped with little Lisa better than me: he bathed, and swaddled, and fed. I was afraid to take the child in my arms. It seemed that the girl was so fragile that I would inadvertently break something for her. He does a great job with Michelle too.

- Alexey, what was the most difficult for you in double paternity?

Alexei: Almost nothing but global control for the movement of relatives around the world. I draw a graph in a notebook, in which the blue squares are Lisa (she spends a decent part of her time in France, where she goes to school), the red ones are Tanya, the green ones are myself. And then there is Michel, Varya (our dog)… Since Tanya and I are busy with different projects, it’s not easy to calculate everything, book tickets clearly. The wife has other concerns. There are also a lot of them: complementary foods, nutrition, vaccinations, Lysine's allergy ... When it turned out that our eldest daughter was covered with a rash from the hair of any animal, things increased. A year before her birth, I gave Tanya a Yorkshire terrier - Varya. Luckily for me, this breed's coat is similar in structure to human hair, and Liza does not react to it. I can't imagine what I would do if it were another breed. I love dogs and have always wanted to have a lot of them. But at the time of my childhood, my mother and I lived in a communal apartment and could not afford it.

— Alexei, are you not afraid that long separations with parents can injure Lisa? After all, she spends a lot of time abroad ...

Alexei: There is no separation as such. We are always next to Lisa, at least in turn - either me or Tanya. Many people ask us why our daughter is studying in another country. Why not? XXI century in the yard! For Tanya and me, a good education is a priority. smart person easier to live. Sport is great, only one in a thousand achieves success in it. Physical education is present in Lisa's life - skiing, swimming, skating - but as an element of recovery. How much time do you give your child to play? Or are you downloading in full?

Tatyana: Liza is at school from half past ten in the morning until five in the evening, and at 20:30 she has a lights out. Free time, in my opinion, is enough: three and a half hours. Enough to watch cartoons, read a book.

"Only three hours?" Do you feel sorry for the child?

Tatiana: Don't be sorry. Lesha and I lived in an even tougher schedule, and thanks to the perseverance and perseverance of our mothers, something turned out of us ... Alexey: I am not lying when I say that I am extremely happy and grateful to Tanya for giving me daughters. I would go crazy if a boy was born. Don't ask me why. Don't know! (Laughter.) This is apparently a selfish position: I can't imagine a boy running around this house, a little man.

Tatiana: When I got pregnant for the second time and Lesha and I went for an ultrasound scan, he said: “If it turns out that we have a girl, I will give you a watch.”

Tatiana: For the first time, Lesha did not dream about his daughter as much as he does now. But when we were waiting for Michelle, he even began to panic: “What if the son ?!” We have a house full of boxes with things for the girl. We collected Liza's things, hoping that they would come in handy. And the names of the girls immediately came up with. And there was a problem with men - they didn’t remember a single suitable one.

- Alexey, at the very beginning of yours with Tanya life together everything was not easy. Either you packed your bag and left home, then she ... Two children and finally a stamp in your passport changed your relationship a lot?

Aleksey: We really got used to each other for several years, looked for approaches, tried different options for coexistence. Why I got up and left one day for no reason, I don’t even remember. That was a long time ago. It is absolutely certain that I left just like that, not to someone. It seemed strange to me that everything was too calm and good between us. We moved in several times, then moved out again.

Tatiana: Basically I left. Perhaps because she did not want Lesha to do it first. Thinking about how to behave? what's next? So far, no one has written a book that answers all these questions. And how much easier it would be for everyone.

Alexei: And I had many questions, but there were no answers. But somehow we managed: on April 9 it will be nine years since we have been together.

Tatiana: Children appeared, and there was less time for unnecessary thoughts. We have absolutely no time to sort things out.

- Tanya, now you are more confident in your beloved man?

You can't be sure of anyone, not even yourself. I don’t want to be overly arrogant - they say, I gave birth to two children to Yagudin and now I can do what I want and twist ropes out of him. Of course not. Of course, mentally we have become closer to each other, but this does not mean that we have stopped taking care of relationships, working on them. Even Olympic figure skating champions fall on the ice if they stop training. The same thing happens in family life: you spit on how you look, what you say, in what tone, and ... love passes.

Alexei: And I am one hundred percent sure of my beloved woman, and of myself. It is clear that anything happens in life, but I will say this: I feel very good with Tanya, and I am grateful to fate for having such a wonderful family that we created together with her. I am not a fan of compliments, but why be disingenuous: Tanya is a gorgeous woman, and I am glad that everything is going so well with us. In many ways, this is Tanya's merit. She worked on herself, broke herself, found the strength to change, become softer, learned to evade arguments and so on. Although it is not easy, we have tough characters, otherwise we would not have achieved anything in sports. As a result, Tatiana with whom I started dating nine years ago and whom I have known for twenty years is not at all with me today. But I also tried, I learned to admit mistakes and apologize. Alexei: So that they no longer ask the question: “Why don’t you get married ?!” Tired of answering! (Laughs.) But seriously, there is no particular reason, everything has its time. Before, it wasn’t that I was against the wedding - I just didn’t see a reason to register a relationship. And now I wanted to. Tanya did the right thing by never raising this topic. - Tanya, do you consider yourself lucky?

Tatyana: Recently I was walking down the street with children. I'm taking a stroller, next to Liza jumping, Varya runs. And such pride took me! I think: “I'm awesome! After that, Alexei changed his mind and never spoke about it again.

Sports career

Yagudin's first coach was Alexander Mayorov, a student famous Alexei Mishina. Under his guidance, Alexei studied until the age of twelve. Then Mayorov went abroad, and Mishin himself became Alexei's coach. At the same time, another athlete Evgeni Plushenko was training in the group.

Thanks to studies with a renowned mentor, Alexey has achieved unprecedented success. At the age of 13, he finished fourth in the junior championship. And after only three years, the skater has already become the champion of this competition.

But the young skater did not want to stop there either. In 1997, Alexei participated in the European Championship and took an honorable third place. In 1998, Alexei moved to the coach, the famous coach gladly took patronage of a talented athlete. In the same year, he had to leave for the United States, where he continued to play sports.

Tarasova's patronage brought unprecedented success to the young athlete: Alexey became the winner at the World Championship and the European Championship. However, in Russia, Evgeni Plushenko managed to get ahead of him.

After the examination, it turned out that the athlete had a congenital bone defect, and the injury only aggravated the situation. In 2003, Yagudin officially announced the termination sports career, however, he never parted with the ice arena.

After the end of his sports career, Alexei Yagudin decided to devote his life to his family, wife and children.

The figure skater since 2006 began to appear on various ice shows despite the unbearable pain in the hip. He could go on the ice only after taking painkillers.
