New exit to the Moscow Ring Road from the federal highway M1 Belarus. Highway M1 fares

I have already traveled to Belarus by car about twenty times. These trips took place over the course of a year. AT different weather and different time day.

Therefore, I decided to write instructions for using the M1 Moscow-Minsk highway.

I must say right away that the M1 highway is one of the best in Russia, if not the best.
On it you can safely go to Belarus and not be afraid of anything.

From Moscow to Minsk 700 km. On the highway this way takes me about 7 hours. With all stops.

All the way, with the exception of the departure from Moscow, a very measured and calculated route.

There are two ways to leave Moscow.
Right on Kutuzovsky prospect, which goes to Minka, it is also the M1 highway or along the bypass, around Odintsovo.

The paid route costs 150 R. The amount is divided into two stages. 100 R. and 50 R. at two checkpoints.

After leaving Moscow, the best road in Russia will open before you. Route M1.

04. The road surface is very good!

But beware of the cameras. In Russia, signs with cameras in front are not installed everywhere.
I also recommend slowing down in urban areas. The traffic police on this route does not sleep.

The cameras themselves hang mainly on bridges. And they look like ordinary cameras all over the country. Small, not noticeable.

When I travel to Belarus, I have two or three stops during the journey.

I always leave with full tank fuel. The car needs to be refueled in the evening. Otherwise, it will be difficult and you can lose a lot of time while looking for a gas station while you stop by.

I buy water and snacks for the road so as not to stop.

The first stop on the way, after 400 km immediately after Smolensk.

You pass the traffic police post (the blue building immediately after the bridge) and there will be a Rosneft gas station on the right. On it you can refuel, buy something, go to the toilet and buy a Green Card there.

A green card is needed to enter the territory of Belarus and Europe. This is normal insurance.
Two weeks on the territory of Belarus and Ukraine (minimum period) it costs 550 R.

They are sold everywhere along the highway. But I found the most convenient way. And refuel and arrange.

Rest for one.

09. Green card looks like this

We have no border with Belarus. There is customs control for trucks. And cars go by without stopping.

Only a modest sign "Republic of Belarus" will tell you about crossing the border.

From the border you will find it just over 200 km to Minsk. With a stunning road and views of the plowed fields.

Roads in Belarus are close to ideal.

Once I went to Belarus right after Germany. So the roads are very close in quality.

Moreover, I traveled almost all over the country. Quality roads almost everywhere! So you can safely drive here in cars with large disks.

There are traffic cameras along the highway. You can't be afraid of them.

And there are cameras that issue fines. But they always come with warnings in advance.

During my travels, I was photographed a couple of times. But the fines never came.
Be careful at the first settlement, which is called Buda. There is a 60 km/h limit.

Almost all cameras, with the exception of one or two, photograph the car from behind.

15. Cameras look like this

The road has entrances to paid sections. But this is also only for trucks. In passenger cars, you drive at a slower speed.

16.

My travel time.

Highway M-1 "Belarus" (Minsk Highway) - a federal road in Russia. Starts in Moscow, passes through Smolensk and leads to state border with Belarus. Further continues under the number M1. The track is integral part European route E 30 and Asian route AH6.

The total length is 463 km.

Stationary traffic police posts are located in Bakovka at 7 km, Golitsino at 43 km, at 82 km of the route, in front of the border with the Smolensk region at 127 km, before turning to Gagarin at 172 km, as well as in settlements: Safonovo at 290 km, Yartsevo at 332 km and in Smolensk at 384 km.

The track is different a large number picturesque views and very good quality coatings. Along the way, the road crosses many bridges over rivers. Well developed infrastructure. Traffic is quite high in the Moscow region, further from the capital, the congestion of the route decreases.

On the section from the city of Odintsovo (16 km) and before the turn to Ruza (84 km), there is an increased accident rate. This is largely due to the large number of freight transport.

Since the beginning of 2014, the Russian side has selectively carried out passport control on the border with Belarus. There is no border crossing. For residents of Russia and other countries included in Customs Union, travel on the highways of Belarus is free. This rule spreads on vehicles weighing less than 3.5 tons.

Number of lanes

4 lanes for traffic along the entire length. The exception is a section about 7 km long with 8 lanes, which starts in the settlement of Solmanovo and ends in the area of the village of Likino.

State

The road is in perfect condition.

Because in recent times Since I often have to travel by car to Europe, and the way there lies through the M1 highway, on which there are a lot of cameras, I decided to record the mileage of the cameras, and along the way, other sights that I meet on the way.

I have traveled on this list three times already, and I will say that it has become much more convenient.

Update Sep 2014: In addition to the list, I also use the MAPCAM INFO service, where there is an application for both i-devices and Android. The program is quite simple, works in the background and does not interfere with navigation. A subscription to camera location updates costs 40 rubles per month (there is also an annual subscription for 360 rubles). I buy a subscription once a year, for 40 rubles, just to update the list of cameras. It works really clearly and the approach of the cameras informs regularly. Based on " people's map”, as well as maps.me, that is, updates appear almost on the day the cameras are installed. It works like all over the world, you just need to download a file with cameras for each country you pass.

Update May 2015: As for the navigation program, to my extreme disappointment, the iGo program for iOS has completely lost ground. The main reason for the frustration was the fact of rare map updates. So in Warsaw in 2012, many new highways and interchanges were built, and on this moment they are still not in iGo. In search of the "best" navigation, I tried several different packages, and Cigyc, and TomTom, and Waze ... Offline navigation always has a problem with the relevance of maps. Online navigation has an obvious problem that there is no Internet on the road ...

The maps.me program was the solution. The most excellent up-to-date offline maps with a lot of details, up to the marked monuments and firing points (bunkers) in the fields ... Recently, the function of building routes within the country, and more recently, the function of building routes through different countries. Now there are some shortcomings, occasionally crashes, sometimes forgets where we are going, but at the moment, I think this is the best program for traveling.

I equipped the CB car with a walkie-talkie a long time ago to be able to communicate with truckers, so there are settlements on the list to know how many kilometers they are and how long they are. Often, information is transmitted via a walkie-talkie like: "Accident on Rodnichka ..." which in the case of an inexperienced driver does not make any sense. With a list now has. I hope this list will help someone not to run into a fine, calculate a place for refueling or plan a vacation spot.

This list in no way claims to be a complete coverage of attractions, everyone will find their own points that are not on my list. So edit, supplement, well, share 🙂

Well, fellow drivers, behave wisely! Life is one and the road is long.

(The list has not been updated since January 14. Cameras have increased a lot since then ... Use mapcam.info.)

BREST

On Wednesday Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. the site reminds you what toll roads are in the Moscow region, how the fare is paid and what are the differences in payment on different routes.

There are three toll highways in the Moscow region:

  • M11 "Moscow - St. Petersburg"

In the Moscow region there is 1 paid section M11 (15–58 km of the route).

The fare on the site ranges from 40 to 600 rubles, depending on the number of toll booths passing by, the time of day, the size of the car, the presence of a transponder and other factors. The fare scale and fare calculator are published on the website of the operator company that collects the fare.

In total, there are currently two toll sections on the M11 highway. The second is located in the Tver region, which allows you to bypass the city of Vyshny Volochek (258–334 km of the route). The cost of the detour will be from 150 to 920 rubles(for cars - 150-240 rubles).

  • M1 "Belarus"

In the Moscow region, there is the only paid section of the route, which allows you to bypass Odintsovo.

The fare ranges from 30 to 800 rubles, depending on the number of toll booths passing by, the time of day, the size of the car, the presence of a transponder and other factors (cars - from 30 to 250 rubles).

Photo: website of the road operator

  • M4 "Don"

In the Moscow region, there is 1 of 7 toll sections of the M4 highway (48-71 km).

The fare on the site is from 15 to 140 rubles (cars - from 15 to 35 rubles). The fare scale has been published on the website of the operator company that collects the fare.

Other paid sections of the M4 highway and the cost of their travel by car:

  • detour of Bogoroditsk (225–260 kilometers) – 35–60 rubles;
  • bypass of Efremov (287–321 kilometers) - 35–60 rubles;
  • bypassing the city of Yelets and the village of Yarkina (330-414 kilometers) - 100-120 rubles;
  • bypassing Zadonsk and the village of Khlevnoy (414–464 kilometers) – 60–80 rubles;
  • detour of Voronezh (492–517 kilometers) – 35–20 rubles;
  • in the Voronezh region (544-633 kilometers) - 50-70 rubles.
By order of the government, a section from 117 km to 225.6 km of the M4 highway is added to these sections. The fare has not yet been set.

Payment Methods:

  • in cash at the toll collection points at the entrance or exit from the sites;
  • bank cards from the operator at the box office. The M4 also accepts smart T-cards;
  • you can pay the fare with a transponder. So far, each highway registers its own separate device. But from the spring of 2016, it will be possible to pay for travel on all toll roads in Russia with one transponder. All operators will work according to combined technical protocols.

A transponder is an electronic device that makes it possible to pay for travel on toll roads remotely. Many owners of toll roads establish a system of discounts for their owners.

Near each highway are installed road signs, indicating the methods of payment for travel. This is necessary in case the payment is not made by any of the methods. For example, on section 416 (Zadonsk) - 460 (Khlevnoye) of the M4 highway, payment by card is not yet provided.

Transponder fare

On the M1 "Belarus" highway, a 5 percent discount is provided when driving through a transponder, and a promotion and a 37 percent discount are valid until the end of the year. For cars with an electronic device, separate lanes are provided, along which you can drive without stopping at checkpoints.

The operators of the M11 motorway are giving drivers the opportunity to save 20 percent of the cost of the trip when using a transponder. There is also a dedicated lane for customers.

There is also a loyalty program on the M4 Don highway. For paid kilometers with the help of a transponder, the driver receives points, according to which he is credited with a discount of up to 10 percent.

MOSCOW, August 10 - RIA Novosti, Sergey Belousov. The M-1 "Belarus" highway is part of the second pan-European transport corridor. It starts in Nizhny Novgorod, passes through Moscow, Minsk, Warsaw, Berlin, Paris and ends in London. From the capital of Russia to the border with Belarus, the route has 456 kilometers, which are transferred to the state company "Russian car roads"(Avtodor). A RIA Novosti correspondent traveled this distance together with the head of the Avtodor Group of Companies Sergey Kelbakh and found out what awaits one of the most important highways in our country.

Payment for travel

Under the wing of "Avtodor" Minsk highway came in 2010. Then the highway reconstruction project was divided into three components: the northern bypass of the city of Odintsovo from the Moscow Ring Road to the 33rd kilometer, the section from the 33rd to the 132nd kilometer and the section from the 132nd to the 456th kilometer. All of them were supposed to become paid, and the segment from Lesnoy Gorodok to the turn to Borodino in the Moscow region (33-132 km) was supposed to start operating in 2018. Due to the crisis, the deadlines had to be shifted by at least a couple of years, the scale of the project was greatly reduced, and the fee was started to be collected only at the new Odintsovo bypass.

So far, they decided to make only one segment payable - from the 33rd to the 132nd kilometer. It was divided into two parts: from the 33rd to the 84th kilometer and from the 84th to the 132nd kilometer, and now Avtodor is looking for investors to implement projects under concession agreements.

"Extrabudgetary investments will play in these projects leading role, - says Sergey Kelbakh. “To put it simply, the government said that we need a road, we have grandiose plans, and the quality of service delivery and safety is at a low level. high level look for funds. We revised the financial model, updated the traffic, offered it to the market, and it reacted quite favorably. Even Western European partners, who are now studying the project documentation, became interested."

The construction of the first 50 km toll section will begin in 2018. Part of the route to the Moscow Small Ring (A107) has already been completed and has four lanes in each direction. The road then narrows to four lanes in both directions. According to Avtodor's plans submitted to the government, the section of the Minsk highway before the turn to Borodino (84th kilometer) will be expanded to three lanes, the road will be assigned category IB, top speed it will be raised from 90 to 110 km / h and a barrier fence will be installed there.

You will need to pay at the 46th and 84th kilometers for the actual distance traveled, by analogy with the Northern bypass of Odintsovo. At the same time, residents of the nearest suburbs and summer residents who go to villages up to the 46th kilometer of the highway will be able to move around for free - they will be able to get off at Mozhayskoye Highway before the first toll booth. Only transit cars will pay for the fare. The commissioning of the section from the 33rd to the 84th kilometer is scheduled for 2020, but due to technical issues, it may be postponed to 2021.

In 2019, the reconstruction of the route from the 84th to the 132nd kilometer will also begin. The parameters of the road there will be similar, and exact date no commissioning yet. According to Kelbach, this will happen after 2021. By that time, the traffic flow should increase from the current 30,000 cars per day to 50,000.

For future generations

While the government is approving the project, and Avtodor is looking for investors, dozens of small construction projects are planned on the Minsk Highway: elevated pedestrian crossings will be erected here, junctions and turning loops, overpasses will be organized. All this will prepare the M-1 for the future transformation into a toll road, as well as increase the safety of movement.

In 2018, construction of an interchange will begin in the Kubinka area near Moscow - this is one of the most important sections of the road.

© Photo: Avtodor Group of CompaniesHighway M-1 "Belarus"

Now Kubinka is becoming a center of attraction for military-patriotic forces: the Patriot park is organized nearby, there is a tank museum, and soon an air show will be held in the vicinity, which will be transferred here from Zhukovsky. Thanks to new interchange transit transport will go past the city, and entry and exit from Kubinka will become free.

Objects on the road are being built taking into account the fact that in the future M-1 will be assigned categories IA (motorway) and IB (high-speed road). It provides for four or more traffic lanes 3.75 meters wide with the mandatory installation of a separation barrier, intersection with other roads, railways, bicycle and pedestrian paths at different levels.

“For the first time, we are doing everything in advance,” Sergey Kelbakh assures. “When relations with Europe improve, we will be ready for the influx of cargo and tourist traffic. It is not difficult to build a straight line - it is more difficult to create interchanges, which we will do.”

The head of the Avtodor Group of Companies assures that M-1 will never be fully paid. An alternative free route - Mozhayskoye Highway - ends at the 107th kilometer, there is actually no further than the Old Smolensk Road. It is possible that in the future separate paid sections will be built to bypass large settlements, such as Yartsevo: it will no longer be possible to expand M-1 in the village itself.

Attention moose!

The new cable barriers that are appearing along the M-1 should reduce the number of serious accidents associated with driving into the oncoming lane. Some sections of the road will be transferred from the second category to the first, but will remain free of charge. This means that in such places, for example, from the 160th to the 196th kilometer, a full-fledged barrier fence will be installed.

© Photo: Avtodor Group of CompaniesHighway M-1 "Belarus"

The Minsk highway, especially the Smolensk region, is a territory where a large number of wild animals are recorded on the road. These are mainly wild boars and deer, but most often elks. Such a meeting entails dire consequences: only in the first half of 2017, out of 44 cases, one led to fatal consequences for both animals and humans. Three other motorists were hospitalized after crashes involving moose.

Wire ropes only make things worse. There was a case when an elk with a calf crossed the road: the elk was able to jump over the barrier, but her cub was not. Mom came back for him, fell under the wheels and died. The elk was driven away, but he came to the same place the next day, they drove him away again, but he returned again and also died. Hunters say that elk cubs return daily to the place of their mother's death.

© Photo: Avtodor Group of CompaniesHighway M-1 "Belarus"

Avtodor identified the places where the migration routes of large animals pass: one of them is located in the Moscow region, three - in the Smolensk region (184th, 218th and 376th km). Instead of useless tunnel crossings (wild animals practically do not use them), ecoducts will be designed there in 2019 - large bridges over the highway, dotted with grass and trees. In the meantime, so-called cascade warnings for drivers will be organized in these places already in 2017.

Following the example of road workers in Finland and Norway, warning road signs, lighting and speed limits up to 60 km/h will be installed in animal migration areas. A two-meter mesh fence will appear on the section from the 160th to the 196th kilometer (the male elk will jump over or break through the fence of a lower height).

With God's help

© Photo: Avtodor Group of CompaniesConsecration of the kiot with Orthodox icons on the highway M-1 "Belarus"

One of Avtodor's know-how is icon-cases at the borders of regions along highways. The first such stele, 11 meters high, depicting the icons of the Smolensk Mother of God "Hodegetria" and the Blessed Matrona of Moscow, already stands on the border of the Smolensk and Moscow regions. According to the idea of the state-owned company, such sites will please not only Russian tourists, but also to attract foreign.

My home is my wheels

Another kiot will soon be built on a recreation site on the M-1 highway 15 kilometers from Smolensk. And it will not be a simple site, but a full-fledged parking lot for campers, read, motor homes.

The Avtodor pilot project is being implemented jointly with the Federal Tourism Agency and the Association of Caravaners of Russia. On the site, designed for 50 campers, it will be possible to fully use the capabilities of such a car: connect it to the power grid and sewerage. In the future, similar parking lots will appear on the highways leading to the south of Russia and Kazan.

What is monotonous is not ugly

Now, even within the framework of one toll highway M-4 "Don", completely different information boards are installed at different toll booths. This is very confusing for drivers. It even happens that high-speed travel for owners of transponders is organized either from the left or from the right side.

“On one of the working trips along the M-4 Don, my driver and I literally solved puzzles,” Kelbakh admits. You can see it. It's a disgrace."

By autumn 2017, Avtodor will develop common standards on the design of information boards, lanes and signs at toll booths on toll roads. After that, the confusion should be cleared up.

Paid Application

About half a million motorists use transponders for quick payment and passage through toll plazas. But those who rarely travel toll roads, are not ready to fork out for a device that they need once or twice a year. Therefore, the company is developing a special application that allows you to pay for travel on the roads using a smartphone.
