Ekaterina Rozhdestvenskaya started a new life. Ekaterina Rozhdestvenskaya: biography and personal life Achievements and recognition

The daughter of the poet Robert Rozhdestvensky published a book of memories of childhood and family, so it happened that a few weeks earlier on Channel One, the series about the sixties "Mysterious Passion", based on the novel of the same name by Vasily Aksenov, triumphantly passed. After the presentation at the Moskva store, Ekaterina celebrated the event in a narrow circle in her Beryozka cafe, which her son recently opened on Prospekt Mira. Colleagues noted how Rozhdestvenskaya lost weight and got prettier.

Among those invited was Andrey Malakhov, who at first thought that he was invited as a journalist, but it turned out that they were waiting as a friend. Singer Valeria and Iosif Prigozhin arrived straight from the filming of New Year's Light. The director and TV presenter Alexei Pimanov and his wife, actress Olga Pogodina, joked and spoke warm words to the hero of the occasion, despite the troubles - the day before it was discovered that about $500,000 had disappeared from Pimanov's cell at Gazprombank. opera diva Lyubov Kazarnovskaya and her husband were worried that Dmitry Hvorostovsky canceled his performance at the Bolshoi Theater due to illness. The toastmaster of the evening was the actor Euclid Kurdzidis, and Yulia Rutberg helped him, who, as in childhood, suddenly stood on a chair. The guests quietly envied Maxim Averin - in two weeks of touring Israel, the actor acquired a chocolate tan. Make-up artist Lyudmila Rauzhina was also among the guests, she works on all of Ekaterina's photo projects, Evgeny Margulis, Tamara Gverdtsiteli, Olga Lapshina, Nikas Safronov, Anna Yakunina.

All those present were impressed by the presentation of the book and gladly sorted out several copies in order to familiarize themselves with the new creation of the writer in a relaxed atmosphere.

“A fun evening turned out in the company of wonderful and very talented people,” Prigozhin wrote in his microblog.

Apparently, the fans of the journalist and fashion designer were delighted with literary work Christmas. They were sincerely interested in the plot and rewarded Ekaterina with thunderous applause and compliments.

Despite the workload, the daughter of the famous poet finds time not only for creativity. Five years ago, Rozhdestvenskaya became interested in creating her own line of scarves, which she named after her father.

Good quality, size egg. She probably squeezed the blood vessels, which is why the father lost consciousness. “She could have been growing for twenty years,” the doctor told us. “It’s just that now it has grown and began to put pressure on the brain.” My father's outlook has changed. He became somewhat questionable. At any time of the day, he was equally interrogative. Deep and weird. The father stopped eating. I lost a lot of weight. From Paris, our friend Alex Moskovich sent special nutritious cocktails with different flavors - chocolate, vanilla, orange. For breakfast - one, for lunch - another, for dinner - the third. 200 grams each. And that's it. Moskovich suggested that we find the best neurosurgeon in Paris to operate on my father. And he promised to pay for this operation.

We were all so happy, as if half the battle was already done! We immediately started to prepare documents. This "urgent" stretched out for quite a while. long term. And my father got worse. We put him in the Central Clinical Hospital. He was tormented by monstrous headaches, some incomprehensible cough began. And no one could find the reason for it. He was exhausted, lay in intensive care, could not get up, often fell into unconsciousness. People were dying every day. This chamber was a direct route to the cemetery. Severe diagnoses, heavy smell. Almost everyone is unconscious. No future. I was sure: the sooner we get my father out of here, the longer he will live.

Finally, all the documents were ready, visas were received, tickets were bought. Father was dressed in a knitted cap and coat, loaded into a car. At the exit from the hospital, the ambulance stopped, they took him out into the air - our whole family came to say goodbye to him.

Everyone grabbed his hands (the hands were very cold), shed tears. We did not believe that we would see him again.

The three of us - mom, dad and I - went to our saddest Paris. From Charles de Gaulle airport we were immediately taken to the hospital. Within a few hours, Rob was played on all possible devices. The operation was delayed due to aspiration pneumonia. Long before leaving, he choked on semolina. This porridge got stuck in his lungs and caused inflammation. Because of this, he coughed. He began to be treated. I remember how I carried him, emaciated, in my arms - his legs did not hold him at all. With my father's height of 185 cm, I easily lifted him and carried him - for x-rays, from x-rays ... On the day of the operation, we were asked not to come to the hospital.

But of course we went, sat at the elevator next to the operating room. At the end of the sixth hour of waiting, my mother could no longer look at her favorite cigarettes, and I was already sick of automatic coffee. But then our doctor friend came out and said a single word: “OK”. What does it mean? And the details? "Don't worry, the reflexes are preserved, come back tomorrow night and see."

In intensive care, two nurses in green were sitting next to Roba. They rushed to my mother and me as if we were family. "It's good that you came! We need to check how he executes commands! Ask him to squeeze your hand." We surrounded the bed on both sides. "Roba, can you hear us?" He immediately squeezed our hands… Several months passed after the first operation, and we returned to Moscow. But there was no talk of any quick amendment, which we so counted on.

On July 17, 1957, Ekaterina Rozhdestvenskaya was born in Moscow. Her father is Robert Rozhdestvensky (famous Soviet poet). Mother - Alla Kireeva (literary critic).

The beginning of the labor path

Ekaterina Rozhdestvenskaya, after graduating from school, entered MGIMO. She worked for the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company. After that, she made translations of works of art from French and English. The list of more than a dozen novels includes works by John de Carre, J. Steinbeck, Somerset Maugham, Sidney Sheldon and others. She didn't work for a while. Ekaterina raised children and did housework.

creative idea

Publisher Dmitry Biryukov and his wife Ekaterina Rozhdestvenskaya were invited to the TEFI award in 1998. Biography of a woman, starting with this memorial day has undergone significant changes. Many people attended the ceremony star artists, shining with their luxurious outfits.

Looking at celebrities, Ekaterina Rozhdestvenskaya noted that there is a certain similarity between some of them and the characters in famous paintings. Her creative idea was supported by her husband.

professional work

Ekaterina Rozhdestvenskaya took up photography seriously in 1999. She published her first works in a magazine called Caravan of Stories. Currently, she is the author of more than three thousand photographs.

All of them were created for projects such as "Kin" and "Tales", "Private Collection" and "Vintage", as well as "Associations", "Classics" and "Still Lifes" and for many others.

"Private collection"

Photographer Ekaterina Rozhdestvenskaya has a peculiar business card. She is her first and most voluminous project, called "Private Collection". The main idea was to recreate the paintings painted by the great artists of the past.

Ekaterina Rozhdestvenskaya, whose "Private Collection" was a great success, invited to become the heroes of the filming of famous Russian stars theater and TV, cinema and science, as well as the sports sector. Since 2000, Ekaterina Rozhdestvenskaya has submitted her work for publication in the Caravan of History magazine every month. The old canvases in this project sound in a new way, and the scenery and makeup help them in this. At the end of 2001, the "Private Collection" collected photographs of more than two hundred famous people in the country and far beyond its borders.

As Catherine herself admitted, she built her first project on fantasy in the field of great works of art. The accuracy of make-up, costumes and scenery revived the works of painters. An important factor in the success of the work was the charm of the stars, who shocked with their similarity to the originals and forced to look at history with a share of irony. Ekaterina Rozhdestvenskaya, whose work made it possible to create complex and multifaceted images, revealed her contemporaries by drawing an analogy with personalities from the past. Elena Obraztsova and Vladimir Spivakov, and Lyubov Kazarnovskaya, Anatoly Karpov and Valentin Yudashkin, Iosif Kobzon and many other people known to us took part in this project.

Rozhdestvenskaya Ekaterina Robertovna began to shoot stellar personalities in a way that no one had done before her. She found the necessary props by visiting antique shops. Sometimes necessary things were bought abroad. Photo portraits made by the author are juicy, bright and spectacular. They are made in the format of large paintings. The works are printed on canvas. The top layer is varnish.

Relatives

Browsing is a favorite activity of many people. Of particular interest are those photographs that capture several generations of the genus.

The project of Ekaterina Rozhdestvenskaya "Relatives" aroused great interest among the audience. She dressed the Menshovs in costumes that were worn at the beginning of the twentieth century. The image of a hippie suited the Presnyakovs perfectly. Zapashnye captured by a photo artist in the arena of the Colosseum ancient rome in the form of gladiators taming tigers. The family of Vladislav Tretyak looks great in the costumes of France in the early eighteenth century. There is a work in the project "Kin" that depicts Artemy Troitsky with his wife, son and two daughters in the image of the Adams family. The photo is a counterbalance to the dreary everyday life of modern society.

In all these works there is a share of self-irony, as well as pride in one's family, combined with respect for traditions. For many very busy members of the tribal clans filmed by the author, participation in the project has become an opportunity to be close to their loved ones, and to do this in an unusual setting.

Men and women

The following project of a famous author is very popular with viewers. This is a series of photographs "Men and Women". Star actors wished to participate in the project as Russian show business, and foreign, because it is very tempting to transform for a while, appearing in front of the audience in a completely different guise, and then turn out to be yourself again.

Within the framework of this project, Nikolai Baskov, as well as Sergey Makovetsky and Sergey Zverev, were involved in the role of women. Men's images were created by Irina Allegrova, Tina Kandelaki and Tamara Gverdtsiteli.

Movie stars

Movie stars of past decades Ekaterina Rozhdestvenskaya dedicated her new project. She called him "Film Divas". The collection of Ekaterina Rozhdestvenskaya includes images of great actresses who shone in the thirties and sixties of the twentieth century. Among them are Lyubov Orlova and Greta Garbo, Vera Kholodnaya and Audrey Hepburn, as well as Ada Gardner and Marlene Dietrich. These languid blondes, spectacular brunettes, and fatal red-haired beauties were role models. Their style, make-up and hairstyles were copied by numerous fans.

In the Film Divas project, well-known Russian women “tried on” the images of movie stars of the past. Among them are Valeria and Elizaveta Boyarsky, as well as Kristina Orbakaite and Olga Drozdova, and others. The works, made in black and white, allow viewers to see celebrities from very unusual angles. At the same time, they arouse the viewer's interest in classical art, as well as in the history of costume and fashion.

Vintage

This project of the famous photographer allows all viewers to plunge into the half-forgotten world of fashion of mothers and grandmothers. Admiring the magnificent works, each of us will make a journey into the recent past, looking at models of skirts, coats and dresses, as well as hairstyles depicted on the canvases of fashion models. The fashion trends of the forties and eighties of the last century pass before the eyes of the viewer. The photographs reflect things that women pass on from generation to generation, carefully taken out of old chests and stored, despite the transience of time.

History of underwear

The entire twentieth century is covered in the new interesting project. Ekaterina Rozhdestvenskaya called it "The History of Linen". A special cut of natural amazing fabrics, yellowed lace from time to time - all this brings back memories and slight sadness to the viewer. Each work by Daria Dontsova has unique texts.

Pin-Lip Collection

Just like in "The History of Linen", this project demonstrates the spicy side Everyday life the last century. All photographs are made in the style of American posters intended for men. They depict beautiful girls with a minimum of clothes, standing in seductive poses. All photographic works of the project are a real visual delight.

Fruitful work and personal life

Ekaterina Rozhdestvenskaya shoots her photos for the cover of a magazine called Caravan of Stories, as well as for the popular newspaper Seven Days. Today, her collection contains more than three thousand works. always based on the paintings of the great artists of the past.

Famous Russians - stars of theatre, cinema, TV, science and sports become the heroes of the works of the photo artist,

which, with the help of make-up, costumes, scenery, makes old canvases sound in a new way.

Everything comes from childhood

“My family was unique, even in childhood I understood that it was impossible to repeat this.

There was an amazing relationship between the parents.

The relationship between mom and dad was built on great love, mutual respect, patience, etc.,

but it was all so unintentionally, smoothly, naturally and reverently...

They lived together for forty years.

It was not a holiday every day, but a great daily work.

"They came to us interesting people Our doors were always open.

Favorite thing was poetry evenings.

My parents and I read poetry, discussed films ...

I cooked in this, was brought up, absorbed this culture ... "

The famous surname helps in life or hinders?

“... I have never been embarrassed that I am the daughter of Robert Rozhdestvensky - I think this is happiness and pride,

I don't know how you can be embarrassed.

But I also complexed very much.

If at school in literature I answered the “four”, then I immediately heard

“You’re the daughter of Rozhdestvensky, how can you not memorize the ninth chapter of “Eugene Onegin”?!…”

“... everyone expected the same from me as from my father.

All the time they asked me if I write poetry, asked me to read something ...

And, of course, it is more difficult to break through when there is such a burden behind good sense, naturally.

I felt that I needed to justify my last name all the time, but I didn’t always understand how to do this ... "

“You always have to keep the brand and keep the honor. I'm responsible for the surname."

How did it happen that a professional translator,

graduated from the most prestigious Moscow institute, took up photography?

“…probably due to stress.

In 1998, our house burned down. Everything has disappeared cleanly - the archives of the father, family photos, the documents.

The house was wooden and burned very quickly, it was impossible to save anything.

Yes, they miraculously survived.

And then I suddenly realized very clearly that for me the most important thing in life is children and a husband.

I even experienced some kind of purification when I felt it ... I wanted to start new life to do something new.

And the first thing that came to hand was a camera.

If something else came across, maybe I would do something else…” “…the main thing is an idea.

Everyone has family albums at home, and everyone can consider themselves a photographer.

Therefore, an idea is needed.

You also need perseverance, a desire to work and do just that.

Because there are many photographers, but there are few photographers.”

“But it all came together well. My husband Dmitry Biryukov heads the Seven Days publishing house,

which includes the magazine "Caravan of stories". So I work for my husband.

Game or art?

“This is a game based on art.

And people fit in so well. Get involved, play with me.

Well, they get great pleasure from it, just like me.

"Private Collection" is based on art.

Basically, I take paintings by old masters and work with them, which is very fun and enjoyable.”

“There are a lot of paintings, and new celebrities appear all the time.

Pictures don't end and people don't end.

Amateur or professional?

“Of course an amateur.

I didn’t study anything specifically, I didn’t finish anything, I’m not too versed in technology ...

I will disassemble and assemble the camera easily, but then there will be a lot of superfluous.

After that it won't work for sure. That's what I don't have, but I don't think it's necessary.

The main thing is to see.

“Photography is a professional hobby. But if I have been earning money for them for a long time, then this is already a profession.

Mastery Secrets

“There are no special secrets and secrets.

Mystery is a good team.

And a high quality digital camera.

Desire, patience.

Self confidence.

Self-criticism, of course.

Mastery is a delicate thing, it comes with experience, but not always.”

Pleasant and difficult to work

“It's about connecting with people.

Not always found mutual language with a model. Here you need to be a psychologist.

So that the result will live up to expectations.

Recipe for Happiness

“To be happy, you need to do something.

I remember that in the period of developed socialism they sold perfumes - first Klima, then Mazhi Noir, and Zhe Oze.

When I began to learn French, it turned out to be "Zhe ose" - "I dared."

Which I really liked.

A very true name for our life.

It is necessary not to sit - to boo, I can’t do anything, my husband is an alcoholic fool, there’s no sense in him, he can’t do anything,

won't make money...

We must try to do something ourselves, and then everything will work out, if not with a camera, then with a jigsaw,

not with a brush - so with a ladle!

Recipe for family happiness

“I got married at 17. My husband and I have been together for 35 years.

The fact that we have been together for so many years also comes from my family, from my childhood.

I can't stand running back and forth."

"When a person is successful in business, he is happy in the family."

"Don't interfere with each other. Listen.

For a very long time I was such an outlet, a "hole", where all the negative information is thrown off according to the principle -

I do not know what to do.

Here is such a problem ... I listened, figured it out, and together they came up with something and somehow got out of the situation ... "

Four men of Catherine Rozhdestvenskaya

senior, middle, junior

“The last child was more than a conscious step. It was an attempt to have a girl.

But the fact that a boy was born who is the best is a great happiness!

“All my children are my favorite.”

"A large family distracting, helps and, helping, distracts."

I don't like photographers

“Of course, my colleagues tried to shoot me! Some kind of horror happened!

To be honest, I don't like photographers. I don't like being filmed. I don't always like everything.

And even for my "Private Collection" I would not make exceptions.

I can't imagine myself in any way.

Because, really, my place is behind the scenes.

I feel more comfortable behind the lens than in front of it.”
