The bodies of Rospotrebnadzor, consistently and systematically carrying out activities aimed at ensuring the rights of consumers to the quality of goods, works and services, are forced to state that the production and distribution in our country of knowingly low-quality products is becoming an independent business.

In the current situation, according to the Office of Rospotrebnadzor for the Krasnoyarsk Territory, it is not enough to give an adequate assessment of the conditions and reasons that impede the full realization of consumer rights to the quality of goods, works (services), the main thing is to take comprehensive measures to eliminate them, which ultimately will allow to form among the population confidence in the protection of their rights and legitimate interests in terms of legislative guarantees.

In order to prevent an increase in the number of violations of consumer legislation, the Department is making active efforts to optimize law enforcement activities in the consumer market by improving the forms and methods of preventive measures aimed at:

Prevention of violations of consumer legislation,

Improving the efficiency of control over the safety and quality of goods (works, services) on the territory Krasnoyarsk Territory on the basis of coordination of actions of executive authorities and public organizations;

Perfection legal education and human rights activities in the field of consumer protection;

It is not only about the safety of goods for humans and the environment, but also about the degree of satisfaction with the needs and expectations of consumers.

Most European countries, including in Russia, since 1995 the second week of November has been considered the European Quality Week. The European Quality Week is held to draw public attention to quality issues, as well as to demonstrate achievements in the field of quality.

In 2013, the date of the Quality Day falls on November 14, the week of quality runs from November 11 to 17.

Product quality according to classical definition reflected in international standards, is a set of properties of a product that give it the ability to satisfy conditional or implied needs. This definition is based on the technical and economic nature of product quality, but it does not fully reflect the truly global significance of such a category as quality in the modern world.

The quality of products and services includes the competitiveness of an individual producer and the country as a whole, saving resources and increasing production efficiency, the safety of products and services for humans and the environment, as well as the quality of life.
