Southeast chord project. Northeast Chord

These strange words in the title are the names of grandiose objects road construction in Moscow. Somehow you heard them - Northeast Chord, North-Western Khord and South Rokada. - just an exit from the Schelkovo highway to the temporary storage warehouse in the direction of the Entuziastov highway. And now let's look at these construction sites from the air. The first part on TSW was published by me in May -.

In Moscow, 104 km of roads were built in 2016, which is a record commissioning.

In total, over the past 6 years (between 2011 and 2016), 544 km of roads have been built and put into operation (about 12.5% of all existing street road network cities), including:
- 162 artificial structures (overpasses, tunnels and bridges) and 160 off-street pedestrian crossings were built;
- 8 outbound highways (126 km) were reconstructed, full-fledged understudies were created, as well as dedicated traffic lanes public transport with a total length of 150 km (this is 60% of the entire length of the existing dedicated lanes in the city - 250 km), 350 driving pockets have been created;
- 13 largest and most complex transport interchanges were built and reconstructed at the intersection of highways with the Moscow Ring Road.

In 2017-2019 it is planned to ensure the commissioning of roads with a length of 353 km; build 61 artificial structures and 36 pedestrian crossings.

All aerial surveys completed sturman from urbanoid.pro . He has on channel on youtube you can find many interesting videos.

1. The diagram shows the mileage only by chords: how much has already been done, what is in work, and what is still being designed.

2. Let's start with Southern Rokada, where at the intersection with Warsaw highway, the first stage of construction is in full swing - the construction of an overpass for Warsaw highway.

3. Scheme of the site.

.::clickable::.

4. The second stage, as I understand it, will be the construction of a tunnel for South Rokada. At least there is such a scheme and rendering.

5. We managed to fly, right before the squall.

6. The construction of the tunnel under the railway will be completed, as usual, without stopping traffic.

7. And now the famous T-junction in the air. This is the denouement Southern Understudy Kutuzovsky prospect from Mosfilmovskaya street.

8. Monstrous scheme.

9. Junction of the Southern understudy of Kutuzovsky Prospekt with Mosfilmovskaya Street.

10. In the center of the road, a backlog was left for the continuation of the southern understudy to the center, along the railway.

11. The south understudy will go to the left and the appendix will be connected to it.

12. But very unusual view, certainly.

13. And this is the junction of the Southern understudy of Kutuzovsky Prospekt with South Rokada. It is also shown in the diagram above.

14. The most delicious thing is the construction of a new bridge across the Moscow River in the section of the North-Western Chord.

15. Scheme of the site.

.::clickable::.

16. It is being built parallel to the existing Krylatsky bridge.

17. The superstructure of the old bridge is made in the form of a continuous steel beam with a ride on top, the span formula is 51.2 + 90.0 + 51.2 m. The structure is based on two box-shaped beams 2.5 m high, 2.74 m wide, covered with an orthotropic slab. The beams rest on two common V-shaped supports. The total width of the bridge is 25.4 m, including the carriageway - 18.0 m (4 lanes). As far as I understand, new bridge will be a copy of the old scheme.

18. Section of the North-Western Chord from the bridge to northern understudy Kutuzovsky prospect.

19. And this is the beginning of work on the construction of a 300-meter cable-stayed bridge through lock No. 9

20. He will connect the street People's Militia with Nizhniye Mnevniki over the lock along an oblique line, not far from the existing small Karamyshevsky bridge. At the same time, it is planned to create pedestrian zones and an observation deck on the suspension bridge.

21. View towards the junction of Marshal Zhukov Avenue and Narodnogo Opolcheniya Street.

22. And already in the evening we stopped at the construction of the North-Eastern chord in the area of Festivalnaya Street.

36. Grand construction.

37. Moscow is changing before our eyes

38. In total, 561 km of roads have been built in Moscow over the past 6 years. This is approximately 12.5% of the entire existing street and road network of the city. Reconstruction of 13 transport interchanges at the intersection of major highways with the Moscow Ring Road, 8 outbound highways was carried out. The length of backups and dedicated public transport lanes was about 150 km. In 2017-2019 it is planned to ensure the commissioning of roads with a length of 353 km; build 61 artificial structures and 36 pedestrian crossings.

39. Happy Builder's Day!

On October 2, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin inspected the progress of construction of the section of the North-Eastern Expressway from the Entuziastov Highway to the Moscow Ring Road. This section is scheduled to be completed in 2018.

traffic light highway

The route of the section of the North-Eastern chord from the Entuziastov highway to the Moscow Ring Road, which will be built in 2018, will run from the existing section of the chord at the intersection with the Entuziastov highway, then from the north side of the Ryazan direction of the Moscow Railway to the exit to the ring road.

In this section, the highway will be without traffic lights with three lanes in each direction thanks to five overpasses.

The new section of the North-Eastern Expressway from the Entuziastov Highway to the Moscow Ring Road in the future will redistribute traffic flows and reduce the load on outbound highways - Ryazan Avenue, Highway Entuziastov and Shchelkovskoye Highway, as well as to the eastern sectors of the Moscow Ring Road and the Third Ring Road. Besides, new highway will significantly improve the transport situation in the southeast and eastern parts city, and will also simplify entry into Moscow for residents of the Kosino-Ukhtomsky and Nekrasovka districts and residents of Lyubertsy near Moscow.

In perspective new site chords will provide an understudy entry to Moscow federal highway"Moscow - Kazan".

Pedestrian accessibility

A new underground passage will be built near the Vykhino metro station. It will be located under the North-Eastern chord and will allow you to get to the subway from the direction of Veshnyakov. In addition to local residents, it will be used by those who come to the Vykhino station by land transport.

In addition, during the construction of the chord, two more existing underground passages will be reconstructed - in the area of the Plyushchevo and Veshnyaki railway platforms.

Eco-chord

To local residents the sound of cars did not interfere, a three-meter noise screen will be installed along the route. Of course, cars will be heard, but not more than those that drive along the streets of the area.

Photo: Portal Moscow 24/Alexander Avilov

Noise screens from the chord will protect the Kuskovsky forest park.

Even when designing the chord section, the distance from the highway to the borders of the forest park was increased. This should protect the natural-historical object from the possible impact of construction. Also on this segment it is planned to limit the speed of movement.

In addition, it is planned to plant more than 200 mature trees, 1,800 shrubs, 134 thousand square meters of lawns and 500 square meters of flower beds next to the highway.

From East to North in half an hour

The entire North-Eastern chord will be about 35 km long. She will pass from new track M11 "Moscow - St. Petersburg" to the Kosinskaya flyover - interchange at the intersection of the Moscow Ring Road with the Veshnyaki-Lyubertsy highway. The route will connect major highways of the city: MKAD, Entuziastov highway, Izmailovskoe, Shchelkovskoe, Otkrytoe, Yaroslavskoe, Altufevskoe and Dmitrovskoe highways.

Thus, the North-Eastern Expressway will provide a diagonal connection between the north, east and south-east of the capital, reducing the traffic load on the center, the Third Ring Road, the Moscow Ring Road and outbound highways by about a quarter. In fact, the chord will become an alternate for the Moscow Ring Road and the Third Transport Ring (TTK).

The northeastern chord, 26.6 km long, will connect the southeast and north of Moscow along the periphery. It began to be built as a continuation of the only already erected section of the Fourth Ring Road in the area of the Enthusiasts Highway.

The chord will pass from toll road Moscow - St. Petersburg with west side October railway, along the Small Ring of Moscow Railways to a new interchange on the Moscow Ring Road at the intersection with the Veshnyaki - Lyubertsy highway. The route will connect major highways in the north-eastern part of Moscow: Izmailovskoye, Shchelkovskoye, Dmitrovskoye, Altufevskoye and Otkrytoye highways.

I have somehow got used to the fact that in the area of the Enthusiasts Highway there is an endless construction. Flyovers are erected from above, something is opened or closed there. But that such a construction was unfolding there, I realized only when I saw it from above. Let's look at the section under construction (and partially operating) from the Entuziastov highway to the Shchelkovo highway.

1. General scheme of chord tracing.

2. Interchange under construction from the highway of Enthusiasts.

3. And her scheme.

4. But you understand the scale of this only from above.

5. "Oh." This is what I said when I saw these frames on the screen.

6. A new interchange is being built between an oil refinery, an oil storage facility, and a bunch of railway tracks.

7. General view.

.::clickable::.

8. And what about the two railway tracks on the left that rise to the embankment?

9. Fantastic denouement.

10. Partially traffic on it was opened in September 2012.

11. On the site of the construction complex there is a huge PDF with a diagram of this site. Beware, the file is very heavy and complex.

12. Surprisingly, the Moscow Electrode Plant was not touched. By the way, if you believe the map, then there was a separate railway section on it. It is clear that it is not used, but it is clearly visible in the satellite image.

13. The site that was opened in 2012 rests on such a ridiculous exit to the Second Street of the Izmailovsky Menagerie.

14. Very nice new bridges of the district railway.

15. Ahead - Shchelkovo highway.

16. And there - the highway of Enthusiasts.

17. Here, communications are in full swing. Where it is free or has already been shifted, the construction of a flyover begins.

18. Pay attention to how many pits have been dug for communications.

19. The very beginning of the construction of the flyover.

20. It costs a hell of a lot of money to transfer all these communications :(

21. The bridge of the district railway and the station on it.

22. And finally, the future interchange with Shchelkovo highway.

23. I remember that there were industrial zones and garages here...

24. General view.

.::clickable::.

25. Here the chord of Shchelkovo highway will cross in the tunnel.

26. Interestingly, did the designers of the stall take into account that there would be a tunnel here, or now they had to puzzle over how to untie this knot?

27. Letter Zyu.

28. It's sad here at rush hour. :(

30. Tolerate. Will be completed soon.

31. Former Cherkizon.

33. Former Central Stadium of the USSR. I. V. Stalin. It began to be built in 1932 according to the design of the architect N. Ya. Kolli. The project has been partially implemented. The stadium had to accommodate 100 thousand spectators and was designed in such a way that military parades could be held there. It was assumed that the tanks would be able to freely enter the stadium and leave it in columns. In connection with the beginning of the Great Patriotic War construction was put on hold. According to legend, there is a tunnel from the stadium to the Partizanskaya metro station. As the degree of drinking increases, the tunnel turns from a pedestrian tunnel into a tank one, which goes all the way to the Kremlin. To the question "why?" the narrators were unable to answer.

The North-Eastern Chord is a first-class city main street under construction with a continuous traffic regime. It will run from Businovskaya interchange along Zelenogradskaya street. It will cross the 4th Likhachevsky lane and further to the transport interchange with the Northern Rokada. After that, the highway, crossing the paths of the Oktyabrskaya Railway, will turn east and go along the Small Ring of the Moscow Railway to the Ryazan direction of the Moscow Railway. Further along the railway tracks to the interchange of the Moscow Ring Road with a built section of the new toll federal highway "Moscow - Noginsk - Kazan", which, within the boundaries of Moscow, will be a main street of citywide significance of the first class. Kosinskoye highway will become part of the new federal road.

North- eastern chord will connect the major highways of the north-eastern part of Moscow: Izmailovskoye, Shchelkovskoye, Dmitrovskoye, Altufevskoye and Otkrytoye highways.

The Northern Rocade is a first-class main street of citywide significance under construction with a continuous traffic regime. The Rokada has a joint section with the North-Eastern Chord, 4 lanes wide for both directions - from the Businovskaya interchange to the actual interchange with the temporary storage warehouse at the intersection of the connecting railway line No. 2 of Likhobory station - Khovrino station. Further, the highway, still passing from the western side of the OZD, will have 3 traffic lanes in each direction. After the interchange with the temporary storage warehouse, an exit to Likhoborskaya embankment will be built. Then, crossing the Cherepanovyh passage, the street will continue until the traffic interchange with the North-Western Chord at the intersection with Bolshaya Akademicheskaya Street. After that, it will enter Dmitrovskoye Highway using the existing interchange of the highway with Valaamskaya Street. The exit will have 2 lanes in each direction.

A dividing strip and retaining walls will be provided on the section of the Northern Rocade from Bolshaya Akademicheskaya Street to Dmitrovskoye Highway, taking into account the prospective extension of the highway to Academician Korolev Street.

According to the project, the North-Eastern Chord consists of the following sections (from east to north):
A section of the Veshnyaki - Lyubertsy highway in the Kozhukhovo microdistrict (Kosinskoye Highway)
Section of the intersection of the Moscow Ring Road with the highway Veshnyaki - Lyubertsy (Kosinskaya overpass).
Plot from Moscow Ring Road on the street. Krasny Kazanets to Veshnyakovskiy overpass.
The section from the Veshnyakovsky overpass to the former 4th transport ring along the alley of the 1st Mayovka and st. Anosov.
Section of the former 4th transport ring to the Oktyabrskaya railway line.
Zelenogradskaya street to the Businovskaya interchange of the Moscow Ring Road.

Construction history
In December 2008, the construction of the Veshnyaki - Lyubertsy highway begins.
On October 26, 2009, a 4-kilometer section of the Veshnyaki-Lyubertsy highway was opened from Proektiruemoy proezd 300 to the street. Bolshaya Kosinskaya.
On September 3, 2011, a kilometer section of the Veshnyaki - Lyubertsy highway from Bolshaya Kosinskaya to the Moscow Ring Road was opened and an interchange with outside MKAD.
On November 24, 2011, the construction of the interchange of the Veshnyaki - Lyubertsy section with the inner side of the Moscow Ring Road and the exit to Krasny Kazanets Street was completed.
On March 27, 2013, the construction of an 8-lane highway along Zelenogradskaya st.
On January 30, 2014, traffic was opened on two overpasses of the section of the North-Eastern Expressway from the sh. Enthusiasts to Izmailovsky sh.
On December 24, 2014, traffic was opened along the highway from the Businovskaya interchange to the interchange with Festivalnaya Street.
On March 18, 2015, the construction of a section from Izmailovsky sh. to Shchelkovsky sh. (to be completed in 2017).
On December 29, 2015, construction began on the section from Festivalnaya st. to Dmitrovsky sh. (to be completed by the end of 2018)

The schemes were also posted for review on the first floor of the Sviblovo district administration building. And the public hearings themselves are scheduled for August 20. Reconstruction of a huge area of the north-east of the city is to be large-scale and information about this will be useful not only for cyclists, but also for pedestrians and, of course, motorists.
Here are just a few proposed changes: near the Sviblovo metro station, all surface pedestrian crossings will be removed and a circular car traffic will be made, the street Amundsen want to continue to New Bering right across the square(!), at the crossroads Yenisei and Pilot Babushkin there will also be a roundabout of cars, and a huge six-lane overpass (the same chord) will become a new transit highway in our district. Now about everything in order.

Let's say right away that there is nothing in the submitted materials about the cycling infrastructure. In addition to the sign for bicycle parking near the TPU, on one of the diagrams, but where exactly they will be located, the designer could not answer. Actually, it's expected. However, let's try to parse the information that has already been published.

TPU "Sviblovo"

01. This is how the picture of what they are going to build looks like.

02. Although there are a lot of documents and various schematic images of TPU, it is not easy to figure out what is what.
This is how the plan of the entire territory to be reconstructed looks like

03. Most main document in materials on TPU "Sviblovo" this one: "TERRITORIAL LAYOUT PROJECT OF THE TRANSPORTATION AND INTERCHANGE HUB (THU) SVIBLOVO SUE "MOSCOW METROPOLITEN".
The text is placed inside the file "Approved part. Corrected".

The very essence of what is planned to be done is in the Explanatory Note and it is written in a more or less understandable language.

This "note" will be published in full:

Explanatory note

on the planning organization of the territory and construction, reconstruction of capital construction projects. The territory allocated for the formation of a transport interchange hub is located on multifunctional public territories and sections of the street and road network in the area of the Sviblovo metro station.

The territory for the development of the planning project is 10.23 hectares.

The territory of the transport hub, allocated within the boundaries of the planning project, is 8.27 hectares.

The land surveying area of the transport interchange hub is 10.23 hectares. The formation of a transport interchange hub in the area of the Sviblovo metro station provides for:

  • construction of an underground-overground complex with service facilities with access to bus stop pavilions and the entrance to the metro station;

  • construction of stop pavilions with service facilities associated with the lobby of the metro station;

- construction of a hotel with accommodation on the first floor of an inter-district multifunctional center.

The transport solution of the TPU project includes the reorganization street and road network with a decrease in regulated intersections due to the arrangement of roundabouts at the intersection of Kolskaya, Novy Beringov proyezd, Amundsen and Raduzhnaya streets in accordance with the established red lines. For the convenience of moving passengers, the layout project proposes the organization of sheds over the subway and stop pavilions in order to provide a comfortable connection between the stops of the ground urban passenger transport and the entrances to the subway. At the ground level in the areas of the planned location of the TPU, the dimensions of buildings and structures are determined.

The project provides for changing the boundaries of the PK facility (No. 99-SVAO "Square at the intersection of Snezhnaya and Kolskaya streets") in accordance with the established red lines. The decrease in the area is fully compensated by the inclusion of sections No. 10, No. 11 and No. 14 in the PC with total area 0.40 ha.

04. What is written in this text? Perhaps the most important news is the loss of the square near the metro. The outsideAmundsen"cut" the square, a roundabout car traffic will be made. There is little left of the green zone. The designer's representative assured us in the City Council that the road would "go between the trees". Somewhere here...

05. And here too there will be a road

06. Or maybe you can successfully "embed" car traffic here!? In general, the square, it seems, will no longer exist. It's a pity.

07. Here is an interesting "scheme" from the presentation materials "as if" tells about the problems of pedestrians in this place.
It is not very clear who from the University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs walks along this arrow. On the contrary, they move more on the other side, near Shopping center "Sviblovo". But here the main thing is more red. Like "everything is bad here, but it will be good."

08. Another important topic is pedestrian crossings. This is what human flows look like in design documents.
The diagram is basically correct. That's just the desire to drive pedestrians "into the dungeon" is not the best option.

According to the project, all pedestrian ground crossings near the Sviblovo metro station are being converted into underground ones!!!

09. These land crossings will not be

10. This ground pedestrian crossing will also not be

11. It won't happen either

12. And this ground crossing will disappear. Everything underground!
Probably, car enthusiasts might like it. Well, what will pedestrians, cyclists, people with wheelchairs say?

13. Everything looks great in the pictures in the council. There are escalators to the street, and navigation, and even GROUND CROSSINGS with a zebra and a traffic light (look at the middle photo below)! Strange huh?! According to the plan, only underground passages, but the picture shows a normal passage and a zebra! At our remark, the representative of the designer shrugged his hands: "There are errors in the materials, it's true ... We have mixed up the name of the street on the map ... Sorry."
Although it would be more correct to cross out this photo with a zebra with a large red marker.

14. There is also a presentation in the council about green spaces. It is not clear where exactly this bench will be placed.

15. Probably in place Square a few trees will be left, they will find a place for a bench there.
The fact is that a few years ago, two shopping centers were built at once near the Sviblovo metro station. It is clear that now they will not be demolished, but they will expand roads and build facilities TPU now it is possible only at the expense of the last green territory, that is, at the expense of the Square.
This is what the "public space" at the metro looks like now. Massive malls...

16. Whether the famous "stop with a pine tree" will survive after all this construction "kneading" is also unknown ...

In general, this is TPU "Sviblovo" will build. It is important to have time to make comments and make suggestions. There are many questions: the fence of the house 28th Snowy(something needs to be done with it), hotel, parking lots, location of OT stops, etc.

Northeast chord

17. All information materials can be viewed. It is almost impossible to make out anything on the maps.

But if you download this file to your computer, you will get very detailed map our region and those places where the chord will go. You can look at the map itself and the objects marked on it for a long time: the magnification allows you to see some details...

18. Here, for example, it turned out the new kind street intersections Yenisei and Pilot Babushkin.
Here they want to organize a circular movement of cars

19. Cyclists, of course, are interested in how chord crossings will be organized at popular intersections: with Serebryakov passing through, With agricultural street, with street Wilhelm Pick, with street Snowy etc. By the way, the construction of such major highways always entails the reconstruction of adjacent streets.
For example, 1st Botanical passage according to the planning project for a new residential quarter, it will become a 4-lane highway ...

20. For example, now many cyclists and pedestrians use these ground crossings near the 1st Botanical passage. What will happen after the erection of the chord is unclear.

21. The further cycling route to the side is also important VDNH: under the canvas MKZD and along the construction China Business Center. Now there are few pedestrians and it is convenient to pass by bicycle. How will cycling flows be organized in this section after such a large-scale construction of the chord and TPU "Botanical Garden" not yet reported.

Questions about how car traffic, cycling and pedestrian traffic will be organized should be asked to designers now. As part of the Public Hearings, incl. And considering also the plans of the city authorities to build several more huge residential areas in the north-east of the capital (you can read about this and), it can be assumed that in the coming years both car traffic and bicycle routes and the existing pedestrian infrastructure in these areas of the city can greatly change. In what direction - we will see very soon.

For those who are not on vacation), here are the details of the Public Hearing:

meetings participants in public hearings will be held on August 20, 2015 at 19:00 at the following addresses:

According to the project for planning the territory of a linear object of the road network: a section of the North-Eastern chord from Otkrytoye shosse to Yaroslavl direction Moscow Railways, including the reconstruction of the Bogorodsky overpass.
