Sign is a materially expressed replacement of objects, phenomena, concepts in the process of information exchange in a team.

Symbol- this is a sign, an image of some object or animal, to indicate the quality of the object; symbol any concepts, ideas, phenomena.

Sometimes a sign and a symbol differ, because, unlike a sign, a deeper social-normative (spiritual) dimension is attributed to the symbol.

Symbols and signs are an integral part of esoteric secret knowledge, which is ambiguous and accessible to a few. It is based on the principle: he will understand who gets the maximum from the minimum, i.e., he will understand who can read in the language of symbols and signs. Symbols are the language in which the Gods speak to people. For example, the simple symbols "cross" and "circle" embody the global idea of the creation and evolution of the world.

What is symbolism? Symbolism is the visible expression of an idea or thought. The original letter had no signs and the symbol expressed a whole phrase or sentence. The symbol is not an indication, but a hint. Not a cheat sheet, but a charade. Not a rule, but a search. Symbol is internal state transmitted by something or someone at any given time.

There are symbols in everything, but each symbol is interpreted differently by different people, for each person has his own key of symbolic interpretation. The multiplicity of meanings of the same symbols is an integral rule of symbolism. The symbol is necessarily lower than the thing it symbolizes.

Every day we all see thousands of signs around and do not always think about what meaning they hold in themselves and what impact they have. The world speaks to us in its own language - the language of symbols, colors, shapes, smells, the language of events and states. A person perceives the world in the language of the picture of the world that he has developed for himself and accepted as true. First, we perceive the world in the language of mythology and fairy tales, then in the language of science and culture.

State symbols of countries, symbols of flowers and plants, symbols of color, car emblems, currency signs and signs of the zodiac, logos, pentagrams, religious symbols accompany us everywhere and all the time. Symbols and signs have a history of tens of thousands of years. The secret language of symbols is the most valuable spiritual heritage of bygone eras, the wisdom of millennia, encrypted and conveyed to us in conventional signs.

Each character is fraught with some encoded information. The symbol is the key to the mystery.

Many generations of people different eras and cultures in the language of symbols expressed their state of mind, their worldview, their understanding of the great truths and secrets of being.

Sometimes the meaning of the symbol is quite obvious, such as the emblem of a heart pierced by an arrow, symbolizing love.

But what does the magic pentagram or the eye in the triangle mean? And in everything that a person does not understand, he is inclined to see a threat or experience fear in relation to the incomprehensible. But is it worth it to fence off the world with fear, or is it better to understand what he wants to say...

What does the insect want to tell us with its stripes or dots, what does the flower want to say with the size and color of the petals, smell and shape, what does the plant say with the size and shape of its leaves or the thickness of the trunk. The behavior of plants is natural and subject to the laws of life, conditions environment- the amount of sun and moisture to which it is adapted. But plants have also developed defense mechanisms - needles and thorns, poisonous juice and smell ...

The signs and symbols of humanity are sometimes the subject of a common agreement, and sometimes they hide knowledge and information rather than make it publicly available and understandable, or are information only for those who know and are initiated.

Humanreactsemotionally.

What is the reaction of a person when they see a sign or symbol? The person reacts emotionally, sensually. He does not comprehend the information, he feels it, and immediately, without critical evaluation and reflection, a state is born associated with the information perceived as a whole. Emotions are our response to the current situation, the task of a general strategy. Emotions determine the main direction: attack or hide, attack or flee, enjoy life or fall and play dead.

And the deepest and most intimate reason for this or that reaction to the influence of the outside world lies in the deep mechanisms of the work of human consciousness. The archetype in late antique philosophy is a prototype, an idea; the original, innate mental structures, images (motives) that make up the content of the so-called collective unconscious and underlie the universal symbolism of dreams, myths, fairy tales and other creations of fantasy, including art. According to Gödel's theorem, it is impossible to independently know anything that is more complex (smarter) than oneself. And this means that the archetypes are of extraterrestrial, non-human origin. A person has conceptual (symbolic) thinking. With the advent of archetypes-symbols, the humanoid became a rational person. The age of the archetypes is no less than the age of humanity.
Archetypes are things that can be expressed without words through gestures, interjections, allusions, or cues. Understanding them and knowing how to deal with them, you can encode the collective unconscious (our subconscious, soul) and provoke anything. It is a powerful and irresistible psychotronic weapon. With your thought, you can form trigger impulses in the information field (our subconscious) so that the same thoughts come into the heads of many people. This is not a fantasy.

ATliterature: A symbol in literature is primarily a connection. It combines the physical picture and its transcendent, metaphysical meaning, which suddenly, suddenly begins to “shine through” through the ordinary real, giving it the features of a different, ideal being. In other words, a symbol in literature is a sign or an object that obscures some other object, expressing its hidden essence and at the same time being a conductor of a system of ideas or ideas about the world that are characteristic of the one who uses this symbol; conditional expression of the essence of a phenomenon through the appearance, shape of another object, or even its internal qualities, in which case also becoming a "shape".

Objects, animals, well-known phenomena, for example, natural (“Thunderstorm” by Ostrovsky), signs of objects, actions, etc. can serve as a symbol in literature. Here are examples of symbols that have been stable in the history of culture: scales - justice, orb and scepter - monarchy, power; dove - peace, goat - lust, mirror - another world, lion - strength, courage, dog - devotion, donkey - stubbornness, rose - female beauty, lily - purity, innocence (in France, lily is a symbol of royal power).

All these objects, beings, and phenomena are given a symbolic character by culture. Due to him, they are also the basis of such an artistic device as allegory.

Lotus is a symbol of the deity and the universe among the Hindus. Bread and salt is a symbol of hospitality and friendship among the Slavs. Serpent - wisdom on the one hand and sin (Old Testament) - on the other. Cross - crucifixion, Christianity. Parabola - infinity. Morning symbolizes youth, blue color - hope (in the subject system, its symbol is an anchor). There are various series of symbols (objective, color, geometric, etc.). In different cultural systems, different signs can take on different meanings. So, in the gospel system, fish is a symbol of Christ, in Newest time they acquire a sensual, erotic meaning. Artistic images of heroes literary works due to their value existence in culture, they also acquire the character of a symbol in literature (for example, Prometheus, Odysseus, Orpheus, Hamlet, Don Juan, Casanova, Don Quixote, Munchausen, etc.).

Structurally, a symbol is close to an allegory, also consisting of two parts, however, both of its components (both what is symbolized and what symbolizes) exist in reality, while in allegory one component is usually a product of fantasy. A symbol always hides a hidden comparison, the connection of a transformed phenomenon with a domestic situation (object), a historical event (phenomenon).

AT fiction it can be considered one of the varieties of the artistic image, but usually it is perceived independently. It can be either an individual creation of one or another author (for example, Gogol’s “bird-troika”) or common to two or more authors (Balmont and Brodsky have a poet’s speech as a symbol of his personality as a whole), or a universal cultural unit. Thus, the symbol of the connection between life and death is the journey to the underworld and the return from it, which occurs in the works of folklore of the most ancient peoples and appears in the works of the authors of the New and Modern Ages. This symbol was used, for example, by Virgil, Dante, J. Joyce, Bryusov and other poets. In addition to the connection of the two polar worlds, it means the initiation of the soul due to the receipt of a complex spiritual experience, its immersion in darkness and further purification, awakening.

Inside the main symbol, poets develop their own particular symbolic system (it can also be considered as a system of metaimages, see Image). Such, for example, is the “swallow” in Mandelstam’s poetry, associated with a journey to the afterlife and with the search for a lively poetic word (see the poems “What the Grasshopper Clock Sings”, “Swallow”, “When Psyche-life descends to the shadows ... ").

The same symbols in literature can appear in different authors, introducing new shades of meanings that are transmitted from one poetic generation to another. For the authors, they add up to a single system in which each link is connected with others, each time repeating an artistic logic that is different from the ordinary.

How many mistakes have you made in your life? Can't count? Basically, like everyone else. Often people think that it was possible to turn onto a different path, which just led to happiness. And there has been a turning point. Now we have to disentangle erroneous decisions. We return in our memory to the past, trying to understand what could be corrected in order to get around the trouble. Do you know that there were always signs of fate nearby? How to recognize such unusual clues? Let's figure it out.

What are signs of fate

How to recognize the secret question, by the way, is not particularly difficult. It is important to understand first of all what they are.

After all, not knowing that gold has value, a person will pass by, stomp on ingots and never bend down to pick it up. This is what we do when fate comes. We simply do not notice them, like some kind of barbarians. What to do, society does not consider it necessary to educate their children, talking about the important, about what really helps in life. Fortunately, there is now a turn in this sense. More and more information about what signs of fate are, how to recognize their essence and use them, appears. It's great that people perceive it, assimilate it, try to use it. Fate gives signs to a person in the most unusual ways. It depends on upbringing and worldview, even on the type of character. There is a right clue for everyone.

Where do the signs of fate come from

The theoretical aspect of the problem is far from being of concern to everyone. However, their application will be more meaningful if you understand who (or what) forms them. It is believed that wizards (the Lord, Angels or Higher Powers) are watching a person and at the right time throw up “signs of fate”.

How to recognize such a "message" is not at all clear, if we proceed from such a postulate. In fact, everything is much simpler and more complicated. Man himself is not the way we are accustomed to perceive him. In addition to consciousness, there is also a higher "I" (if not to complicate). So it takes on the role of an Angel, throwing up such clues that consciousness can understand. These are the signs of fate. How to recognize them, of course, you need to ask him. Namely, listen to intuition, which constantly quietly whispers its advice.

What to pay attention to

Now let's move on to practice. After all, it is she who interests those who wish to understand the secret signs of fate. The first thing you will need is to learn to control your perception of reality. One has only to remember once the case when this “sign” was fixed by consciousness, but did not take into account how everything would fall into place. I'll have to dig into my memory.

For example, Pierre-Simon, a well-known mathematician, told such a story. He was often robbed by street swindlers. He was fond of statistics and noticed that troubles occurred when his slippers did not turn out to be in the right place at night. He linked these two events, different in meaning, into one cause-and-effect series. Conclusion: the disappearance of slippers is a sign that on this day someone's thieving hand will get into his pocket. This is pretty much what happens to every person. Of course, slippers are not signs of fate for everyone. How to decipher your own "clues", you need to figure it out yourself, like the mathematician given in the example. Namely: observe and compare.

Unforeseen delays

Pay attention to annoying misunderstandings and accidents if you want to understand the signs of fate. How to recognize such events, we will show with an example. One American scientist conducted a study of the statistics of air crashes. He found that about fifteen percent of the passengers simply did not show up for the flight.

When they began to be questioned, it turned out that some of them were simply late, others did not motivate their behavior, and still others suddenly changed their minds. However, they all saved their lives! So think after such a study, what are unforeseen delays, if not signs of fate? How to decipher and apply similar clues in own life- clear. Don't be nervous if you get delayed. Know that there is no need to travel. Fate wants you to avoid a certain event. It is necessary to believe in it. Some researchers have even developed a system of rules that allows, if not recognizing, then correctly using “signs of fate”.

Confidence

You must understand that your plans are not always correct, desires are useful. If they encounter obstacles, then follow "fate", do not be stubborn. Those who seriously think about how to understand the signs of fate have come to a very simple conclusion-rule. It sounds like this: "whatever is done, everything is for the better." You have probably heard this many times and said it yourself. Make this principle fundamental, then life will seem more pleasant and comfortable. Also, the opposite often happens. Opportunities come when you don't expect them. Of course, they must be used. If you are made an unexpected offer that does not correspond to your current plans, remember if this is what you dreamed about five (ten, fifteen) years ago? Most likely, then you were more sincere and better understood what you truly want.

Mood

It is believed that optimism and enthusiasm are the real signs of fate. If what you are currently doing uplifts your mood, evokes pleasant emotions, then everything is going “as it should.” And vice versa. If doubts arise, the mood tends to the abyss, then stop, reconsider the motivation of your intentions. It is fate that speaks to you in such a refined language. You will begin to delve into these "subtle matters", listen to your mood, you will not have to figure out how to read the signs of fate. They are all the time in "your field of vision", even if only internal.

Information from outside

Sometimes clues come in the form of conversations or the printed word. If you remember a phrase uttered by a stranger, or an ad in a magazine, do not think that this is some kind of whim of the brain. This information did not come by chance. You need to think about what she is telling you. This can only be done by the person himself, based on specific life circumstances. No tips or advice will help here. It is important to understand that memory is selective. Since a certain word is “stuck” in it and does not leave, then it must be analyzed. It also happens that a person is worried about a certain problem. He constantly thinks about her, not daring to take a responsible step, to choose a course of action. At this moment, he can hear the conversation of third-party people, which will push him to "enlightenment".

Just be careful. Words come from strangers, from TV or computer screens. Sometimes these are not even phrases, but feelings that help create the right atmosphere for making a decision.

Signs of fate on the body

Another interesting moment. Fate is believed to be born with us. Some of her clues are encoded in the human body. It is customary to refer to such signs as moles, the shape of nails or eyebrows, and other individual features. There are even theories about how the fate of a person is connected with the color of eyes and hair. Not all of this is true, of course. But some features, of course, carry certain important information. These include They appear in those who are marked by the Lord. For example, if you have a triangle, in each corner of which there is a small mole, then reveal your talents! You definitely have them!

If you ask a simple layman what he can mean by the concept of "symbol", then he, most likely, will begin to give examples from life that are closest and most understandable to him, such as, for example, Mukhina's well-known sculptural group "Worker and Collective Farm Girl", symbolizing our Soviet yesterday, etc. And this is all true, but most do not even realize that the symbols in our lives can have a hidden esoteric or magical meaning. And it doesn’t matter whether a person knows about it or not, such a symbol will still affect him.
The choice of symbols for the state is especially important. In ancient times, the symbols were different, and they were chosen taking into account the impact on the psyche. Later they came into use as something inalienable and served to strengthen the statehood.
There are many symbols, but very few are currently known to be potent. There are varieties of magic that describe or at least mention such symbols. So, for example, images of flowers, plants or animals were used. Take a lilac or mustard flower. The shape of such a flower coincides with the shape of the cross, the most ancient, even pre-Christian, symbol. Therefore, the action of the form of such a flower is similar. At the sight of a mustard or lilac flower, a person (and even an animal) has a subconscious reaction of the body, laid down in ancient times, similar to the reaction to the symbol of the cross. Sometimes it is enough for a person to remember God, if he believes in him, of course, or about the cross, or simply cross himself. In all cases, the power of the cross will not be long in coming.
Other symbols have their own properties - images of flowers. Five-petalled flowers, usually from the borage family, greatly reduce the iodine content in the body. The effect is so significant that even a small amount of forget-me-not flowers can cause severe memory loss. Who knows this property of forget-me-nots, when giving, sometimes says: “Take flowers for joy, but look, don’t forget at least your name!” Knowing this extraordinary property of the five-petalled flowers of the borage family to reduce the iodine content and stupefy a person, the slave owners of ancient Rome hung five-pointed stars in places where slaves gathered. The slaves were so stupid that they could not even agree to organize protests. Later, five-pointed stars were further used as elements of symbolism, but it is unlikely that their harmful effects are known today.
Six-petalled flowers, on the contrary, strengthen the endocrine system and the body's defense against poisoning and the harmful effects of bacteria. Six-pointed stars have a very beneficial effect on the overall development of human society.
Eight-petal flowers, like stars, have an even more beneficial effect on the general condition of a person. They increase in him not only strength, dexterity, but also spirituality, and confidence in every business, and even in a life-threatening struggle.
There are symbols that depress the human psyche and even lead to illness and death. So, the skull and crossbones is a symbol of death. This symbol was once used by pirates.
According to some reports, the trident symbol first appeared in Egypt as a sign of the power of the sun god Ra, who was protected by three elements: Heaven, Earth and Sea. He left his son as his viceroy on Earth (the son of God Ra, or Ra, the founder of the fifth dynasty, the priest of Heliopolis, i.e. the viceroy of the Sun God). The image of the son of God Ra is presented in Egypt in the form standing man who turned his palms to the sky, elbows at shoulder level, forearms parallel to the body. In other words, the son of God Ra is depicted as a trident, the trident and the pose of a man - the son of God Ra - are one and the same. When the power of Egypt spread to almost the whole world, the symbol of obedience to Egypt was the appropriation of a trident as a coat of arms. It was placed on all shrines, stones, banners. Subsequently, Egypt became close to Rome, but the symbol of the power of Egypt spread not only in Italy, it also appears in the Crimea. Of course, it means sunshine, and people under the coat of arms of the trident can be called solar residents, i.e. strong, strong-willed, militant. The symbol, no doubt, is positive, but in the form in which Ukrainian artists draw it, it cannot be used. He still has a host and energetically feeds the egregor of Egypt. Therefore, it would not hurt to modify it at least a little, preserving in it the meaning of sunshine and life-affirmation.

Every symbol is multi-layered. The first semantic layer of the Moscow coat of arms is very unpretentious: the alien George the Victorious strikes a snake, which is a symbol of earthly forces. The second meaning is even more transparent: we will still show you all "Kuzkin's mother"! And the third is the triumph of righteousness over untruth, faith over unbelief, Orthodoxy over heterodoxy. The fourth semantic layer is the eternal overcoming of Satan, the enemy of God, and the defeat of the Earthly and underground Forces by the Heavenly Forces, similar to the defeat of Python by Apollo, Indra - Vritra, Shiva - Apasmara. God overcomes the Devil. The spear here symbolizes a celestial ray that strikes lightning. In other words, the coat of arms symbolizes the victory of the Forces of light, knowledge over the Forces of darkness, ignorance.
The coat of arms was invented and executed by Christians, who, as a rule, think in terms of “friend or foe”, “white-black”, i.e. a system of binary oppositions, and it is desirable that there be only one's own, white, light, goodness, etc. The idea of creating a magnet with one pole or the eternal pursuit of it, to tell the truth, has been around for many centuries, but more than one generation has grown up sawing the magnet and marveling at the indestructibility of the other pole.
The rider's spear is a celestial ray, lightning, the vajra of the Indians, but also the axis of the world, which is generally depicted vertically, the Diamond axis, on the poles of which are the Upper world, the Sky, and the Lower world, the underworld. We live in the middle. But there are no people on the Moscow coat of arms of the world. The coat of arms of Moscow captures the image of the victorious war of Heaven against the Underground Forces.
In addition to all that has been said, the stylized George the Victorious is a symbol of one of the Masonic societies and, serving as one of the elements state symbols, energetically de-energizes the pineal gland, and this, in turn, is reflected in the culture of the language and, by and large, in the national culture.
By the way, a good example negative impact Masonic symbolism is the symbolism of the one-dollar American bill. The energy emitted by this little piece of green paper is truly capable of making a person lose the ability to think soberly, when the very possibility of owning these banknotes sometimes makes people overstep such values as health and even life itself. Perhaps the secret lies in the symbolism and inscriptions located on the one-dollar bill.
For example, on the left side of the banknote there is an inscription: “The New Order for Ages”, and it is visually represented in the form of a Masonic truncated pyramid, over which a separate peak dominates, indicated by the symbol of the Masonic deity - “The Great Architect of the Universe”. Thus, it is given to understand which god the motto inscribed in the center of the banknote refers to: "We believe in God." The truncated pyramid itself, consisting of thirteen brick tiers, where each brick stands for a separate nation or state with its coin, symbolizes the incompleteness, inferiority of humanity without the all-powerful "top". The symbol of the dominating "top" - the triangular eye of the "Great Architect of the Universe" - is crowned with a Latin inscription of thirteen letters: "Annuit Coeptis", which unambiguously emphasizes that the chosen class is predestined to rule the world. This is also evidenced by the inscription below in English: “The Great Seal”, symbolizing, in accordance with a number of traditions, the ownership of the wealth and energy of the people’s labor by the owners of the Seal (see illustration).
Thirteen arrows in the left paw of the eagle on the right side of the banknote symbolize the knowledge and powers designed to pacify and, if necessary, kill enemies (rebellious subjects), therefore each of the thirteen arrows ideally threatens one of the thirteen tiers that form the pyramid of enslaved humanity.
Masonic symbols are also present on the Ukrainian five hundred hryvnia banknote, and - no wonder. After all, back in 2003, a scandal broke out in Ukrainian government circles, as a result of which several high-ranking officials were fired. The reason for this scandal was that the facts of belonging of many state officials of Ukraine to the Masonic Lodge of St. Stanislav were revealed to the public.
Here are just some examples of the use and influence of certain state symbols. The coat of arms and the flag are the very necessary symbols for the state, which should harmonize, biologize society and put it on the path of recovery, and the creation and use of such symbols should be treated responsibly.

Tatyana Timofeeva, practicing psychologist. You will find interesting articles about things and phenomena that we encounter every day and which we do not always attach importance to.

Symbols are signs that carry a certain meaning and influence us whether we believe in it or not. There are universal signs that came to us from ancient times and their use has been noticed in many cultures of the world. They carry a similar meaning, that is, symbolism, therefore they can be used by all peoples, and are called archetypal. For example, circle, cross, trident, swastika, pentagram...

There are also relatively young signs, which are based on archetypal symbols. These are religious: Catholic and orthodox crosses, Islamic crescent, Jewish star of David, Buddhist wheel of law, etc. Religious signs benefit only those who understand them and practice certain spiritual exercises (mantras, meditations, prayers).

Archetypal signs are used by all the big companies of world and national importance. For example, Microsoft, Mercedes, Toyota, Columbia, MTS. The symbols underlying their logos strengthen their leadership positions and ensure stability in the market of services and goods.

The world of symbols is unusually large. However, they are all expressed in basic geometric shapes. We draw your attention to their symbolic meaning.

If you want to balance your life, surround yourself round shapes, and also apply the technique of K. Jung: draw, paint or create circles. It calms, helps to concentrate and find a solution, as well as to feel secure. Signs placed in a circle are gently enhanced.

A triangle is good for business - a symbol of leadership, dynamics, strategy. Stimulates to action, discipline, declares superiority and success.

The square is stability and stability, order, balance. Figures placed in a square acquire security from chaos and unrest.

Rhombus - purposefulness, growth, "Napoleonic plans." This sign must be in an upright, standing position.

At the heart of the cross is life, protection. It has many variations of forms and meanings, among which is the swastika.

The ancient sign of the crescent is favorable for balancing emotionality, as it symbolizes inner world and growth like the waxing moon.

Vital forces are symbolized by a spiral. It is often used in hypnosis and psychedelic clips, awakening power, stimulating activity. It also affects the will, so you need to be careful with those who use the sign.

Often people intuitively know which symbol is favorable for them. Therefore, when choosing, listen to the inner voice, which will definitely tell you what is relevant for you in this period of life. Usually the call of the soul is manifested in the sensations of an incomprehensible attraction or rejection of a sign.

Symbols are the most international and timeless language. We see them every day and roughly know what they mean. However, symbols in the course of their thousand-year history could change their meaning to the opposite.

Yin Yang

Appearance time: According to the famous Russian orientalist, Dr. historical sciences Aleksey Maslov, the symbolism of yin-yang may have been borrowed by the Taoists from Buddhists in the 1st-3rd centuries: “they were attracted by Buddhist drawn symbols - and Taoism had its own“ mandala ”: the famous black and white“ fish ”yin and yang.”

Where used: The concept of yin-yang is the key to Taoism and Confucianism, the doctrine of yin-yang is one of the foundations of traditional Chinese medicine.

Values: In the Book of Changes, yang and yin were used to express light and dark, hard and soft. In the process of development of Chinese philosophy, yang and yin increasingly symbolized the interaction of extreme opposites: light and dark, day and night, sun and moon, sky and earth, heat and cold, positive and negative, even and odd, and so on.

Initially, "yin" meant "northern, shady", and "yang" - "southern, sunny slope of the mountain." Later, "yin" was perceived as negative, cold, dark and feminine, and "yang" as positive, bright, warm and masculine.

Being the main (fundamental) model of everything that exists, the concept of yin-yang reveals two provisions that explain the nature of Tao. First, everything is constantly changing. Secondly, opposites complement each other (there can be no black without white, and vice versa). The purpose of human existence, therefore, is the balance and harmony of opposites. There can be no " final victory"For there is nothing final, there is no end as such

Magen David

Appearance time: It is authentically known that the hexagram was widely used in Bronze Age(late IV-early III millennium BC) on a vast territory: from India to the Middle East.

Where used: AT ancient india the hexagram was called Anahata or Anahata-chakra. The six-pointed star was known in the ancient Near and Middle East. In the Islamic tradition, in Mecca, the main Muslim shrine - the Kaaba - is traditionally covered with a silk coverlet, which depicts hexagonal stars.
They began to associate the six-pointed star with Jewry only in the Middle Ages, and in medieval Arabic books the hexagram is found much more often than in Jewish mystical works, and for the first time images of the hexagram appear in Jewish sacred books in Muslim countries, only in the XIII century reaching Germany. The six-pointed star is found on the flags of the Muslim states of Karaman and Kandara.

There is an assumption that the hexagram was a family symbol of the family of David al-Roi, who lived in Iran, one of the contenders for the role of Mashiach. This is sometimes used to explain the origin of the accepted name of the hexagram: Magen David, or "David's shield".

The Rothschild family, having received the title of nobility, included Magen David in their family coat of arms. Heinrich Heine put a hexagram instead of a signature under his newspaper articles. Subsequently, it was adopted as a symbol of the Zionist movement.

Values: In India, the Anahata hexagram symbolized the attic chakra, the intersection of the male (Shiva) and female (Shakti) principles. In the Middle and Near East, the hexagram was a symbol of the goddess Astarte. The six-pointed star is included in the symbolism of Kabbalah: two triangles superimposed on each other are considered as a visual symbol of the Sefirot.

In the twenties of the twentieth century, Franz Rosenzweig interpreted Magen David as a symbolic expression of his philosophical ideas about the meaning of Judaism and the relationship between Gd, man and the universe.

The connection of the six-pointed star with the Jews was finally established as a result of Nazi policy in Germany. Yellow Magen David has become a symbol of the Holocaust.

Caduceus

Appearance time: The exact time of appearance of the caduceus is unknown. Obviously this is very ancient symbol. It is also found on the monuments of Ancient India and Ancient Egypt, Phoenicia and Sumer, Ancient Greece, Iran, Rome and even Mesoamerica.

In the occult, the caduceus is considered a symbol of the key that opens the limit between darkness and light, good and evil, life and death.

Since the 19th century, the image of the caduceus has often been used in a number of countries (for example, in the USA) as a symbol of medicine, which is the result of a common mistake due to its resemblance to the staff of Asclepius.

The image of the caduceus as an attribute of the god of commerce is traditionally used in the symbols of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry in a number of countries around the world, including Russia.
Before the revolution and in several periods after it, crossed caduceuses were used as a customs emblem.

Today, the caduceus, crossed with a torch, is included in the emblem of the Federal Customs Service and is one of the heraldic symbols of arbitration courts, the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation and the State Tax Service of Ukraine. Since September 2007, the caduceus has been used in the emblem of the Russian Federal Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund.

It is said about Mercury that with his staff - which has since been considered a symbol of peace, harmony - he separated two fighting snakes. Fighting snakes are a mess, chaos, they need to be divided, that is, to distinguish, see opposites and unite, overcome them. Then, having united, they will balance the Axis of the world, and around it from Chaos the Cosmos, harmony will be created. Truth is one, and in order to arrive at it, one must follow the straight road, which is symbolized by the axis of the caduceus.

Caduceus in the Vedic tradition is also interpreted as a symbol of Serpent Fire, or Kundalini. Wrapping around the central axis, the snakes are connected at seven points, they are associated with the chakras. Kundalini, Serpent Fire, sleeps in the base chakra, and when it wakes up as a result of evolution, it ascends along the spine along three paths: the central one, Shushumna, and two side ones, which form two intersecting spirals - Pingala (this is the right, masculine and active, spiral) and Ide (left, female and passive).

A number of later researchers saw in the letters P and X, enclosed in a circle, the ancient pagan symbol of the Sun. For this reason, Protestants, as a rule, do not recognize the labarum as an original Christian symbol.

However, the buddhologist Yevgeny Torchinov noted that the syllable "Om" and similar syllables ("hum", "ah", "hri", "e-ma-ho") "do not have any dictionary meaning" and pointed out that these syllables, unlike from other syllables of mantras represent "sacred untranslatability" in the Mahayana tradition.

According to church tradition, during the period of persecution of Christians, the pagans hung an anchor around the Pope's neck and drowned him in the sea. However, the sea waves soon parted, exposing the temple of God at the bottom. In this mythical underwater temple, the body of the holy champion of the faith was allegedly discovered.

What were the meanings: There are several theories about the origin and interpretation of the emblem of the Olympic Games. The first and main version says that the Olympic rings symbolically depict the unity of the five continents, which was invented by Baron Pierre de Coubertin in 1913.

Until 1951, there was a belief that each color corresponded to a separate continent. Europe was designated in blue, Africa in black, America in red, Asia in yellow, green in Australia, but in 1951 they decided to move away from this distribution of colors in order to move away from racial discrimination.

Another version says that the idea of five multi-colored rings is taken from Carl Jung. During the period of fascination with Chinese philosophy, he connected the circle (a symbol of greatness and vitality) with five colors, reflecting the types of energies (water, wood, fire, earth and metal).

In 1912, the psychologist introduced new image Olympic competitions, because, in his opinion, each participant in the Olympic Games had to master each of the five sports - swimming (water - blue), fencing (fire - red), cross-country running (ground - yellow), equestrianism (wood - green) and shooting (metal - black)
The emblem of the five rings hides a deep meaning that reveals the essence of the sport. It contains the idea of popularizing the Olympic movement, the equality of each participating country, fair treatment of the athlete, healthy competition.

Values: In this emblem, the Compasses depicts the vault of heaven, and the Square - the Earth. The sky is symbolically connected with the place where the Great Builder of the Universe draws his plan, and the Earth is the place where man does his work. The compass, combined with the Square, is one of the most common symbols of Freemasonry.

Values: The name "dollar" has more than just meaning. Its name contains the word ... "Joachimsthaler", a coin of the 17th century, which was minted in Czech city Joachimsthal. In Denmark, due to the peculiarities of the language, the name of the coin was pronounced as “daler”, and in the UK it was transformed from the more familiar “dollar” to us.

If everything is clear with the name, then the origin of the $ icon is still a mystery. The following version is considered the most similar to the truth: the Spanish abbreviation "P" s, which once denoted the currency of Spain, the peso. The letter P presumably left a vertical line, this allowed to increase the speed of writing, and the letter S remained unchanged. There is also a conspiracy version, along which two lines are the Pillars of Hercules.
