The order is passing. My life in the army

Admission to the higher military educational institution fundamentally different from entering a civilian university. Acting, yesterday's schoolchildren should be aware that the next 5 years of study will be held away from relatives and people close to him. Thousands of school graduates who want to serve the Motherland must go through the initial stage of admission to various military institutions of the country.

Military "Abitura"

"Abitura" (admission) starts from the beginning of July and lasts until the end of the month. First stage includes the training of future military personnel.

Young guys become familiar with such concepts as: morning work-out, sports mass work, marching in formation, a clear daily routine, a drill step and much more, without which most people are accustomed to doing without in the “civilian”.

Several dozen guys live in the same room, called the barracks. They are preparing to pass entrance exams, to professional selection, which will show who is ready to serve in the armed forces of the Russian Federation and who is not.

After 2 weeks, future cadets undergo a thorough medical checkup, as a result of which persons with a deviation in health will be identified.

Passing exams takes place in accordance with the faculty in which the applicant wishes to study, and in the future he will serve in this specialty. As a result of the delivery entrance examinations the applicant is enrolled in the university, puts on military uniform, is cut short in accordance with the charter and receives cadet shoulder straps.

CCM or Young Fighter Course

It starts from the end of July and lasts until the end of August. At this stage, the future soldier undergoes initial training. It includes: outfits, “sacred” military rituals (getting up, morning inspection, evening verification, lights out), studying the articles of the charter, training in the drill step, march throws, performing according to the standard of putting on a gas mask and OZKA.

Fire and physical training is an integral part of the training of any soldier.

The order in the barracks is ensured by the cleaners, who are appointed every morning before the start of charging.

The duties of the cleaner include: sweep the dust from under the beds and bedside tables, sweep between the rows of beds, wipe the floor with a damp cloth if necessary, take out the trash, wipe the dust from all flat surfaces.

Each cadet has his own bedside table, where he can store washing accessories, brushes for cleaning shoes and clothes, handkerchiefs, collars (hemming material), small items personal use, notebooks, educational books, charters.

Many guys, former schoolchildren, who are used to sneakers and other civilian shoes, quickly rub calluses on their feet. Per medical care they can go to the medical center - infirmary.

Upon completion of the KMB course, all personnel are redeployed to places of further education (academy, university). Upon arrival at the academy (university), cadets receive dress uniform clothes. You need to prepare it for use on your own: the guys themselves sew shoulder straps, sleeve chevrons, insert emblems into the lapel of the collar. They also polish their shoes to a shine, smooth out the arrows on the trousers.

Three days later, in a solemn atmosphere, the main military ritual takes place - the oath. The oath is one of the most important significant events in the life of every soldier, which makes him personally responsible for the defense of his country.

Cadets weekdays

The daily life of a first-year cadet, as well as subsequent ones, follows the same daily routine: getting up, morning formation, exercises, on which future servicemen improve their skills. physical training, morning toilet, building for morning inspection, where it is checked appearance, breakfast, divorce for classes. Mandatory passage of a solemn march, where the cadets show their combat skills and the coherence of the unit as a whole. Classes according to curriculum, lunch, self-study, in which cadets prepare homework and repeat the charter, dinner.

In the evening, personal time is given when you can chat with relatives, girls, write a letter home, prepare a form for the next day.

The day ends with the formation for the evening verification, during which the personnel of the course and the list of persons forever listed who died the death of the brave are read out. Hang up.

Outfit

Without exception, all military personnel go to outfits. The outfit is assigned to maintain internal order, protection of personnel, weapons, ammunition, military equipment, premises. And also to monitor the state of affairs in the unit and take timely measures to prevent offenses.

At the beginning of each month, a list of outfits is created, which indicates the dates on which this or that serviceman goes to the outfit.

Outfits are external and internal. The inner outfit is on course, the outer one is patrolling.

military partnership

According to the cadet of the All-Russian Military Academy named after Mozhaisky, thanks to whom I was able to write this material, the military team is a family! “Almost all my service takes place in this family,” the third-year student said. - Everyone helps each other in studies, sports and other activities. Today you helped him, and tomorrow he will help you. This is one big team, different from study groups in an institution that lives, breathes, interacts. "One for all and all for one!" - this is the motto of the military brotherhood.

Dismissal

In high school, layoffs are not that common. But if you have no comments on the service, on violation of the uniform, debts and unsatisfactory grades in subjects, then you have the right to receive a dismissal for a day. You can spend this time with your family, loved ones, friends, with your girlfriend. Leaving for the city and putting on a civilian uniform, a cadet should not forget about the status of a military man, about the rules of conduct in the city and military courtesy.

Summing up, the young man, he is also a cadet of the VKA named after Mozhaisky (as it was written above), said the following:

The life of a cadet is very diverse and full of bright events that are radically different from the usual student life. Years of service at the academy cannot be described on paper; The former military never happens - it goes through our whole life. In the army, a guy becomes a man. A man, a defender of his Motherland, a defender of his relatives, his family, his future children.

Those who are going to join the Armed Forces Russian army, their friends and relatives are undoubtedly worried about the question of what is an outfit in the army? Of course, television makes it clear that this is not new form, but a certain kind of work for a delinquent fighter and, therefore, something unpleasant and difficult.

There are different

But it turns out that the idea of a layman who is not familiar with military life, about what an outfit is in the army, is not entirely correct. This is really labor, but it is mandatory for all fighters, and it becomes a punishment when a soldier receives it out of turn for some kind of oversight. AT modern army it has already been cancelled. The types of outfits in the army are very diverse. They differ in the place of passage and duration in time, as well as the number of people needed.

The usual thing

What does it mean to be in the army? This is work on the territory of a military unit, which includes a kitchen, utility rooms, an agricultural yard, and so on. The fighters who received it are sent there. But, in addition to work, they must undergo training, engage in military training Therefore, they can work no more than 4 hours a day. What is an outfit in the army is well represented by those soldiers who were on combat duty. In this case, they perform their duties under martial law.

A soldier also needs a rest

Also, the outfit can be for the protection of military equipment, warehouses, banners and military personnel who are subject to disciplinary punishment. This is called the object guard. A patrol or garrison detachment is necessary in order to maintain public order in the territory of the garrison in which the military unit. Soldiers need to protect and take care of this on their own. Therefore, the daily outfit does this for 24 hours, and the next day it rests for the same time.

Specific Responsibilities

In order to cope with such work, you need to know how and what to do. To do this, the soldiers before the daily outfit are given to prepare for 3 hours and rest for 1 hour. Then they are instructed.

The structure of the daily outfit includes the duty officer and his deputy. These are usually officers. They are responsible for everything that happens in the unit during their time on duty. Soldiers are on duty at the headquarters, at the checkpoint. In addition to security functions, the outfit maintains cleanliness in the premises. It's no secret that the army has always loved cleanliness. The hardest thing is for the soldiers who are on duty "on the bedside table."

Not easy, but necessary

Many military personnel recall that standing in one position for a long time is the most difficult thing to do in an outfit in the army. And this happens at night too. There is very little sleep. But we must remember that he protects the company from outside visits, and this is in war time save the lives of his comrades. Yes and in Peaceful time the territory of the unit can be penetrated by the enemy. Therefore, in order for the soldier not to relax, but to serve as he should, and not sleep at his post, the duty officer checks his condition several times during the day.

What changed?

Many, imagining what an outfit is in the army, see in their imagination a soldier who peels a mountain of potatoes in the kitchen. But today you don't see such a picture. Fighters are exempted from such work, and there are no outfits in the kitchen.

Prepares and cleans in the dining room specially hired staff. So the current soldiers are deprived of the opportunity to test their gastronomic abilities. But on the other hand, they still have time to take turns visiting other outfits, of which there are still many in our army.

Some Features

But some unconscious individuals simply refuse to go there. This is due to the fact that the legal protection of a soldier in recent times increased. The prosecutor's office and the Committee of Soldiers' Mothers vigilantly see to it that the calm life of the army is not disturbed in any way. Therefore, it is forbidden to send the same soldier to the same outfit, otherwise he may complain of excessive exploitation. It has become easier to refuse the outfit these days because before allowing the performance of this type of work, the fighters are examined by a medical worker. Poor health of a soldier is the reason for this. To get into the guard, you need to be tested by a psychiatrist, who will determine whether a person is ready to perform such duties.

It became difficult to punish disobedience, because the only effective method- guardhouse, became practically inaccessible. To send a soldier there, you need to go through a judicial procedure, and before that, collect a lot of papers.

Therefore, the command tries not to do this, but to influence the violator with its own example, reprimands and orders. Statistics are kept of detected offenses in the unit, so the officers will not make it public that there are disciplinary violations in it. But military personnel must remember that they are in the service of the state, and behave appropriately, maintaining their own dignity and following all the orders of their commanders.

Outfit in the army- this is one of the official duties of military personnel, regardless of rank and position. The outfits in the army, contrary to popular belief, are far from always punishments for the guilty soldiers - in addition to kitchen, cleaning and agricultural work, the outfits mean ensuring the safety of military equipment and strategic facilities, and most importantly, the safety of personnel.

Outfit in the army: what is it

Decree of the President of Russia "On the approval of the general military regulations of the armed forces of the Russian Federation" No. 1495 dated November 10, 2007 imposes certain official duties, which includes the carrying of outfits.

The outfit in the army is nothing more than the performance of these duties in accordance with the order. General provisions The charter contains several types of outfits:

  • work order;
  • garrison attire;
  • daily outfit;
  • combat duty;
  • object guard.

Important: out of turn, that is, as a punishment for any offense (most often expressed in violation of the Charter), a serviceman may be subjected to a work outfit or a daily outfit.

Features of each type of outfit in the army

work order

Military personnel are involved in various work in a military unit, including utility, kitchen, agricultural, cleaning, etc. The duration of such an outfit cannot exceed 4 hours a day.

Important: the execution of a work order is allowed only in free time from training and combat activities.

Don't know your rights?

Garrison Outfit

A more common name is patrol. That is, the involvement of military personnel in the protection of public order outside the territory of the military unit, but within the garrison (that is, the region in which the unit is located).

Daily outfit

An analogue of the garrison, but without going beyond the boundaries of the military unit. The task of the daily duty is to ensure the safety of personnel, the protection of equipment, weapons, etc.

The duration of the order is 1 day, while the next day the military personnel are released from training sessions or service.

Combat duty

Second name - military service. It is carried out in order to solve specific combat missions, as a rule, at training grounds, when transporting military personnel or under martial law.

Object Guard

Security, and if necessary, defense, warehouses with weapons and ammunition, battle flags, equipment. Another type of guard is the protection of military personnel held in disciplinary military units.

Most often, the duration of guard duty is 12 hours - night and day shifts.

“Ivanov, the outfit is out of turn!”

Have you heard this phrase often on TV? Surnames, of course, can change, but the frequency of pronouncing this phrase from the screens is unchanged. Personally, I already remembered it from my youth thanks not only to popular army Soviet films, but also well-known at that time serials like “Soldiers”, “Kremlin cadets” and the like.

Let's analyze the true essence of this expression and the very concept of "outfit in the army." What's this? And most importantly, does it carry a positive or negative connotation?

The first thing I like to start these explanatory articles with is a definition. Let's take a look at the theoretical part. Namely, in the meaning of the word "outfit".

Outfit in the army- a unit, a group of servicemen in a military unit, on a ship and in a garrison, assigned to carry out internal, guard and garrison services, as well as to perform household and other work; these works themselves.

I want to draw your attention to the following: there are two meanings of this word. The first is a group of military personnel, and the second is the work for which these same military personnel were assigned to the outfit.

It turns out some tautology. The outfit was assigned to the outfit. But for the army, this is absolutely normal, friends. In the army, in general, what is abnormal in civil life- fine.

Therefore, just remember that the word attire in the army is used both to refer to a group of military personnel (for example, when the commander says the phrase: “Daily outfit, get out of order”), and to refer to work (for example, while saying the phrase: “Tomorrow at the outfit is assigned…”)

What do you think this article will end with? That I have nothing more to tell you? No, my friends, it is not so at all! All the fun is just beginning.

As a teenager, my grandmother, mother and uncle (who served in his time and took part in the hostilities in both Chechen campaigns) told me: “Learn to peel potatoes, Vlad, you will feel comfortable in outfits in the army.”

For the life of me, I still remember these phrases from each of them. And thanks to this, I really got the impression that the outfit in the army is the outfit in the canteen, during which you need to cook breakfast / lunch / dinner for your unit.

And that there are no other outfits at all!

Interesting information: However, in reality, everything turned out to be completely different. I learned through the army that there are a huge number of types of outfits. For example, an outfit for a company is one of the types of outfit. By the way, considered the main. Let's talk about it in more detail.

Outfit by company

It consists in the fact that a company duty officer is appointed from among the old-timers. It is allowed to appoint one of the sergeants and well-trained privates as duty officers in the company. In 90% of cases, duty officers (in our country, for example) are appointed from among three junior sergeants-conscripts. And only on weekends are contract sergeants on duty. But more on that later.

Let's get back to the topic. What does the company duty officer do and why is he needed at all?

In order to most accurately answer this question, we will need to refer to the Charter and read the article on the duties of a company officer on duty. And it sounds like this:

The company duty officer is appointed from among the sergeants and, as an exception, from among the most trained soldiers. He is responsible for the exact implementation of the daily routine and compliance with other rules for maintaining internal order in the company, for the safety of weapons, ammunition boxes, company property, personal belongings of soldiers and sergeants, and for the correct performance of duty by orderlies. The company duty officer is subordinate to the regiment duty officer and his assistant, and in the order of internal service in the company - to the company commander and foreman of the company.

The officer on duty must:

When an alarm is declared, raise personnel, notify military personnel passing military service under the contract, before the arrival of the company officers or foreman of the company, follow the instructions of the regiment on duty;

Monitor the exact implementation of the daily routine in the company, at the set time, carry out a general rise of personnel;

Know the location of the company and the procedure for calling it, the presence of people in the company, the number of people on duty, sick, arrested (in custody), dismissed from the regiment or sent as part of teams, as well as the presence and exact consumption of weapons;

A whole bunch more.

To summarize, the company duty officer must know everything that is happening in the company, and even keep an eye on everyone.

In order for him to do this effectively, he has assistants - orderlies. There are as many as 3 people in one outfit. These guys are appointed from among us, the military personnel of the new replenishment. Spirits, let's face it.

They basically do all the dirty work in the barracks. They monitor the cleanliness in the location and demand its observance from each soldier.

The orderly on the nightstand is a soldier who stands near the entrance to the barracks and calls the company on duty if necessary. In addition, he answers phone calls and issues commands according to the daily routine.

I have already written a separate article about the daily routine in the army. There you can get acquainted with the main commands that the orderly gives throughout the day. And from the teams known to all - this is “Company, rise”, “Company, lights out” and so on ...

The orderly does not have the right to leave the nightstand empty, that is, at any given time, one of the three orderlies must stand on the nightstand.

Therefore, they change in order to prevent their legs from completely “numbing”. Each outfit decides for itself how much they stand on the nightstand. There are no norms for the time each orderly must stand. My advice is half an hour. Not more.

And yes, I will immediately answer one of the most FAQ on this topic. They stand at night too. In turn. Thus, each orderly sleeps no more than two hours a day.

Well, the outfit for the company - the main outfit in the army, we sorted out in some detail. Now I will briefly talk about other types of outfits that exist in the territory of my unit.

There are quite a few types. I'm sure I don't even remember everything. However, among them are:

  • Outfit for the educational building.
  • Outfit for the sports complex.
  • Outfit in the park.
  • Headquarters squad.
  • Dining room outfit.
  • Outfit for the infirmary.
  • Warehouse order.
  • Etc.

As you understand, there are many types of outfits. In general, I want to say that in addition to the various duties of these outfits, they also differ in the number of people who enter the outfit.

It can be one person, as in the case of the canteen outfit, or 2 people, as in the case of the headquarters outfit (on duty and messenger). The standard number of people in a dress is 3.

If we return to the story at the beginning of the article about peeling potatoes and along the canteen, then I would like to say that in the modern army, soldiers do not peel potatoes. What’s more, they don’t cook for themselves either.

The soldiers themselves prepare only for Navy. And in other types and branches of the Armed Forces, they are serviced by the Slavyanka company.

In general, I can say that the duties of the outfits depend on what work they are assigned to. If you go to the outfit, then you will not necessarily be orderly or on duty. And you can do a lot of different things.

For example, the same outfit in the dining room is one person who, at each meal, compares the number of people who came with those who were supposed to come. He also makes sure that the order of food intake by military personnel is not violated, and silence reigned in the dining room and, again, order.+

And you don't even have to peel the potatoes! ;-)

Pros and cons of outfits

it main question, which I personally can not figure out so far. So is it good or is it bad to wear an outfit?

The fact is that I communicate with almost every soldier who enters the outfit in one role or another. And with those who were in the corps, and with those who interceded in the company, of course. Yes, with everyone!

The people were divided into two parts. For those who gladly go to the outfit and volunteer there, and for those who try to avoid the outfit.

I have compiled my top pros and cons of outfits, which I want to show you right now.

I will immediately make a reservation that the lists are compiled on the basis of communication with comrades, as well as my own experience. All pros and cons are subjective. So let's go.

Advantages of the outfit in the army:

  1. You can communicate a lot with your junior sergeant (the company on duty in your outfit) and show yourself to your superiors.
  2. You can charge and even use your phone.
  3. You can read a book or do some of your own business when you finish all the tasks of the orderly for the night.
  4. You are given a bayonet-knife.

Cons of an outfit in the army:

  1. You get physically tired from the fact that you have to clean a lot. And most importantly, stand on the nightstand.
  2. Calluses are rubbed on the legs. In some cases, the legs simply swell.
  3. Little sleep. 2 hours a day is very little.
  4. Doing dirty work. Namely, you clean, wash, clean and so on.

Of course, this is not all the pros and cons that the guys express, and which I noticed.

Nevertheless, I will leave each reader the right to choose his own answer to the question: “Does the concept of “outfit” in the army have a positive or negative color for you?”

Yes, someone will say that it all depends on where you step into the outfit. Yes, someone will say that a lot depends on which junior sergeant and officer you have to work with for the whole day.

Outfits! After the oath, they began:
ATTRACT FOR THE COMPANY- the dumbest outfit, usually they get into it for flights or according to the schedule of outfits - three orderlies in a company and one on duty. To the duty officer, even more or less, he steers the orderlies, issues weapons, know your duties and who is where. And on orderlies lies the whole order in the company, giving commands, standing on the bedside table, cleaning the take-off and the toilet. If you are just going to join the army, then it is better to immediately learn the duties of an orderly, they will be constantly asked. A little more about cleaning toilets - scrubbing glasses in the army is the dumbest thing to do, so there is a special person in the company, he is assigned the position of “chief glassesman”, after lights out he locks himself in the toilet, and by morning the glasses always shine. If a fighter has removed his glasses at least once, there is no turning back for him. If you don’t want to do the army wolf rule yourself, force someone else. They also told how, in the call 1-9 / 2-9, as a punishment, the guy was put on a short rope with a needle around his neck, with which he was forced to clean urinals, in the past. And a little soldier's creativity about this outfit - It's better to drown in a swamp - than to go to the squad for the company. Ass in soap, mug in sweat, we are orderlies in the company.

Once every nine days, the company steps into BIG OUTFIT:
GARRISON ATTRACT- the most thieves outfit (some even pay money to get there - it used to cost 50 rubles). You dress in dress uniform and walk around the city, look at a civilian and enjoy life. Some managed to go to the movies.

GUARD- not bad either, you get weapons, armor and a helmet, you step onto the tower and look at both two hours, after which you go down to a comfortable room with a TV, newspapers, books and wait for your shift to come again. Another of the pluses is double rations, and of the minuses it’s winter - 35 and a blizzard then you put on everything you can wear and on top a pea coat with such a collar that you can only see the sky.

HEADQUARTERS- three messengers and a duty officer, the same as the outfit for the company, only instead of the headquarters barracks. Of the pluses, you know everything that happens in the unit.

checkpoint- you open the gate all day and drag the hedgehog in front of them, if you stand at the checkpoint on Sunday, you usually don’t go to the dining room - everyone returns from dismissal - they treat you.

PATROL- breathe fresh air, you walk around the territory entrusted to you, sometimes with a club, sometimes in heavy rain.

DINING ROOM- if the outfit is full of grandfathers and few young people, then for the latter the outfit turns into hell. Bringing food from the warehouse is a mountain of food on a cart that barely budges, especially if old-timers climb onto it. Vegetable cutter - the whole outfit is standing and cutting cabbage, carrots, beets. Reception of dishes or "disco" - you receive trays and take them to the sink. Washing - you collect water, plug the cork, add a cleaning agent, lower the dishes, wipe them, take them out - and I don’t care that after the two thousandth plate the water in the sink turns into slurry and the inlet plate is cleaner than the outlet. After this outfit, your appetite disappears for a long time after you have seen enough of a fish that has worms in its intestines, how cooks throw dough then collect it from the floor and bake buns, how rats and cockroaches run along trays with cutlets or a bread cutter slaughtering a rat with a knife no matter how Whatever happened continues to cut the bread.

There are also all sorts of outfits for the baths, the protection of equipment - there is nothing interesting there. In the outfit, a lot depends on the service life, if the grandfather is put on duty for jambs, then the young one will still work for him.
