Biography

On September 7, 2012, Sergey Dolya opened his restaurant in Moscow with the name Dolkabar. In the same year he established an autonomous non-profit organization"Changing the World".

In the summer of 2014, he headed the Exprussia expedition project, the purpose of which was to draw a huge inscription "Russia" on the map of the country using a GPS track. The expedition lasted two months, and its participants traveled 22,000 km.

He received a position as a specialist in the promotion of sound systems. For 2 years of Sergey's work at Philips, the brand's accessories have taken the highest lines in sales in Russia.

In 1998, Dolya left the firm to start his own business.

Company Soundline

Sergey Dolya started entrepreneurial activity immediately after leaving the Phillips. In 1998, he founded Soundline, which became the official distributor of Philips products in Russia. Maria: First of all, I want to note that you and your wife are a very beautiful and happy couple. You travel a lot as a whole family, and separately from each other. How do you manage to maintain harmony in relationships, especially at a distance from each other?

Sergey: My wife and I just love each other very much, and the children simply adore us, because we never scold them or quarrel ourselves. We all like to support each other. When you find yourself in an unfamiliar environment, an unfamiliar city, you always want someone close to you, that's why it's so nice to travel not only separately, but also together.

Maria: How did you find each other?

Sergey: I was a disc jockey in Dubna, every five dances we put on a slow track. I saw beautiful girl in the hall and decided to invite her to dance. We needed to start a conversation with something, and I asked her who she was according to the horoscope. As it turned out, both she and I are scorpions. And when I asked what date her birthday was, I realized that fate itself seemed to bring us together, we have a birthday on the same day - November 13th.

Maria: Many of our readers are wondering how to get married and be happy couple. What prompted you to get married? How did you propose?

Sergey: I had a different situation. Before the wedding, we lived together for probably three years, and I started making an offer a year later. For two years, she told me: “Come on, maybe we’ll wait, we’re already fine, maybe we don’t need it.” But in the end I convinced her!

Maria: How to achieve deep sincere trust in each other?

Sergey: Any family is hard work and hard way. Of course, in the beginning there were some compromises, we tried to understand each other. Now we trust each other - my wife understands that they can't keep me in a cage, otherwise I'll just fly away. She also often goes on trips without me, sometimes alone, sometimes with children, and I am absolutely calm about this.

Maria: Maybe you can give advice to women who want to create a happy relationship, but maybe they are doing something wrong?

Sergey: You don’t need to put pressure on a man, you don’t need to regard him as your property. Men are freedom-loving individuals, and at least the appearance of this freedom should be given to them.

Maria: Many women do not know how to start a relationship, how to approach, whether to take the first steps. Maybe you can give them some advice.

Sergey: The first steps, of course, need to be taken, but not overdone. Highly it's important to make a first impression, what matters here is how a woman looks, how well-groomed she is. She must also be able to communicate.. Just looking pretty is not enough.

CRITIQUE IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS

Maria: It's nice to see a man woo a woman. And now I would like to talk a little about travel. Is this your hobby or work?

Sergey: Definitely a hobby, I travel because I enjoy it.

Maria: People sometimes do not dare to realize what they dream about, because dreams seem unrealizable to them. How did you get started on your journey towards achieving your dreams?

Sergey: The main thing is not to be afraid!!!

I started traveling because I was very afraid of flying. Once a month I had to fly on business trips, and I began to notice that when I fly three times a month, I'm already less afraid. I decided for myself: To overcome your fear, you must overcome it. I decided that I would fly once a week, the direction didn't even matter - that's how my travels began. Now I love to fly, fly anything, including propeller stools. Now I travel not to be afraid of flying, but because I like to explore the world and discover new places.

Maria: What countries are your priority?

Sergey: I love northern countries, beach holiday- not mine. Although twice a year the wife has to walk on the sea. When I'm alone, and for example, I come to the ocean, I don't even go swimming.

Maria: And why the northern countries?

Sergey: There are usually few people there, vast expanses and cold landscapes - they attract me very much. You go to the top of the pass and you can shout and feel that there is no one around, only mountains, and this is the most pleasant thing that can be.

Maria: You take amazing pictures. They need good technology, equipment and much more. This hobby requires a lot of investment. How did you know it was yours?

Sergey: At first I came to photographic equipment. At first he participated in trophy raids. We had a huge SUV, with huge wheels, and we drove through the swamps. We had good results, we were fourth in the championship of Russia and the first in the international team of Russia. I somehow began to take a camera with me to photograph our competitions. There were other guys with cameras nearby, and I began to notice that their photos were much better. I came to the conclusion that my photographic equipment was not good enough. I began to buy more and more expensive, and then, when I had the most expensive set that could be on my hands, and the photos were still worse than theirs, I realized that it was not in photographic equipment, but in hands. Then I began to study and learn what photography is.

Maria: Where did you study?

Sergey: I didn't complete any courses. I acted in two ways:

1. I bought books by famous photographers, looked at the photos and read the descriptions of how they were taken. Thus, he put his knowledge into practice.

2. There are many different photo sites, forums, and I sent my photos there and asked for criticism. There are good photographers there - people who understand, they criticized me, I drew conclusions and next time I photographed differently. That's how I gradually learned.

KNOCK UNTIL YOU REACH THE GOAL

Maria: Can you give parting words to those who still do not dare to take the first steps towards the realization of their dreams?

Sergey: The main thing is not to be afraid. I had a very good experience: the first job that I got as a student was that I came in the morning and they gave me a bag with various graters and said - this is the street, your right side. So I walked along this street and went into every door that was open. There were institutions in which I broke through the guards, went into the offices and said that I have a presentation, we sell graters, let me show you which ones. Then I realized that if there are a hundred doors in front of you and the first one did not open, you should not be afraid to go further. The first, the second may not open, but the thirty-fifth will open, and everything will work out. Don't give up - that's all.

Maria: On such an inspiring note, we conclude our interview, because I urgently need to go and knock on doors, perhaps it is behind the 35th door that there will be a key to my dream ... or maybe even earlier.

Even 10-15 years ago, the word "content" was used in narrow circles and for most people remained a highly specialized term. Childhood and youth

Sergey was born in the city of Kharkov, then still in the Ukrainian SSR. It happened on November 13, 1973. A year later, the Doli family moved to the science city of Dubna (about 120 km north of Moscow). Sergei jokes that he did not want to move, but due to his age, no one took into account his opinion. In 1980, Dolya began to study at Lyceum No. 6 named after Academician Georgy Nikolaevich Flerov. Sergei studied well, although he was not an excellent student. The last thing he liked at school was writing essays.

“I didn’t like writing essays and flying on planes,” Share admitted in an interview.

Who would have thought that after a while it would become his main occupation. After graduating from the Lyceum in 1990, Sergei applied to the university, but he was destined to become a student only a year later. And in the interval from the autumn of 1990 to the summer of 1991, he works as a mechanical assembly fitter. The salary is not satisfactory, so free time Share moonlights as a DJ on the main dance floor of the city and as an administrator in a video rental salon.

In 1991, he re-submits documents to Tverskaya State University– successfully this time. From September 1, he officially becomes a student of the department of magnetism of the Physics and Technology University. In the same year, the faculty foreign languages enters it future wife Larisa. 1996 becomes a landmark year for Sergei - not so much because of receiving a diploma, but because of joining the Philips company, which will determine the future of Sergei.

After working for two years under the wing of the company, Dolya decides to take a serious step - to leave Philips in order to become a distributor of its products in Russia. The idea turns out to be successful, and Sergey begins his entrepreneurial activity. At first, he works on his own, but with an increase in orders, Dolya is forced to start recruiting. In 2001, the first line-up of his team was formed, in which there was a place for four former colleagues from Philips.

Photo

As Dolya himself admits, photography and travel are his main hobbies in life. It is worth noting that Sergey began to photograph and travel at the same time - during business trips abroad in 2007.

The first camera is the Olympus E-10. After photographing her for six months, Sergei began to seriously study photography. The result of these studies was the transition to Canon cameras, of which Dolya remained a fan for a long time.

The transition from Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II to Nikon was a matter of chance: during the next trip, Sergey noticed that weather prevent him from taking the necessary picture, while his friend with the Nikon SLR has no such problems. After evaluating the situation on the market, Sergey decides to sell his Canon cameras and lenses to upgrade his personal photo park.

Now Dolya takes pictures with two Nikon D4 cameras, using optics with different focal lengths: 14-24mm, 24-70mm, 70-200mm and 200-400mm. This kit is expensive, but with it the probability of missing a good shot due to the lack of the right glass is reduced to zero.

In addition to photography, Sergey is also engaged in video production - he shoots a vlog. Two-thirds of the footage was shot with action cameras. The first such camera purchased by Dolya was the notorious GoPro Hero 4. She did not satisfy Sergey's interests and was replaced new model- "GoPro Hero 5". The results of "Hero 5" were also not encouraging, so it was decided to purchase the "Sony FDR-x1000v", which was used by familiar youtubers.

However, here too, Dole was disappointed - due to the non-standard form factor for action cameras, and also due to the lack of a screen on the Sony FDR-x1000v, the videos were obtained with a serious defect in the form of a “littered” horizon. This caused a return to the GoPro Hero 5, but only until the release of the Sony FDR-x3000 4K, which Sergey still uses today.

Also in 2017, Sergey's collection was replenished with a full-fledged Sony HandyCam AX53 video camera with a whole set of Sony accessories. When asked why Sony and not SJCam or Xiaomi Yi, Dolya answers simply: his company distributes Sony products, so he is confident in their quality.

Blog

Sergey rightly calls himself the most popular travel blogger in the country, since he started on the LiveJournal site, which he does not leave today. It publishes articles and photos from expeditions and travels. Also, some photos are located on the Shares page in "Instagram", and vlogs and other video material on the YouTube channel.

Nevertheless, after the NeForum of Bloggers-2017, Sergey published a video in which he admitted that LJ was dying, and there were no options for his rehabilitation. For this reason, Dolya openly stated: by the end of the year, the Virtual Travelers Page blog will be completely relocated to YouTube and Instagram.

Personal life

Sergei has a wife, Larisa, who graduated from the same university as him, but in the department of English philology. The couple has two children - Sergey and Dinya. Both boys inherited their parental passion for creativity: the older one, like dad, is a photographer, while the younger one is fond of playing the guitar.

On the Internet, information slipped that Share divorced Larisa in order to marry a certain Natalya Kosharel, but this is not true - Sergey was and remains an exemplary family man.

Since the first days of autumn 2017, Sergey has been participating in the #MamontCup project. By the way, during this project, a sensational rescue of a whale (and not a simple one, but a Greenland whale belonging to an endangered species) was carried out, stuck in a channel of Lake Salt on Bolshoi Shantar Island.

On his personal YouTube channel, Share showed how the information that everyone watched from TV screens or read on the Internet differs from the truth, and who actually saved marine mammal. In his free time, Sergey decides the affairs of the company or holds meetings in own restaurant"Dolcabar". Also, Dolya likes to relax with her family in an apartment on the Krylatsky Hills, listen to The Beatles and Queen or read a good book.

A change of scenery helps to avoid health problems - Sergey follows this after two cases of atrial fibrillation (after the first Dole lost 40 kg), one of which even led to cardiac arrest.
