Annotation:The influence of geometric errors of parallel structure mechanisms on the accuracy of machine tools is considered. Dependences are obtained for correcting the errors of such mechanisms and increasing the geometric accuracy of machine tools.
Keywords:geometric accuracy, metal-cutting machine, parallel mechanism, correction

  1. Introduction

The main property of metal-cutting machines and systems is their accuracy, which has a direct impact on the accuracy of the parts machined on them. Of the various types of errors, geometric errors are inherent in all machines for all types, modes and processing conditions.

Increasing the accuracy of metal-cutting machine tools is associated both with an increase in the accuracy of their individual elements, and with the search for new structural solutions, i.e. their layouts. The search for such solutions is associated with both traditional layouts and the use of parallel structure mechanisms in machine tools, as well as their combination - hybrid layouts. The basis of this work is the variational method for calculating the accuracy of machine tools, based on the analysis of their shaping systems. The structures shown in the figure are a development of the forming systems brought into structures, in which the processing of one workpiece is carried out by one cutting tool.

<текст доступен в примере для скачивания>

Figure 1. Structures of shaping systems: a) chain; b) parallel; c) hybrid.

The common feature in the schemes of shaping systems presented in Figure (b, c) is the presence of a parallel structure mechanism, which can have a different number of degrees of freedom - from 2 to 6.

  1. Formulation of the problem

In this paper, the influence of the parameters of the geometric accuracy of the parallel structure mechanism on the indicators of the geometric accuracy of machine tools and the machined part is considered. The shaping function, which completely determines the shaping capabilities of metal-cutting machine tools (without taking into account various kinds of bonds), is a product of the matrices presented in the table.

Table 1. Generalized displacement matrices

Another representation of the shaping function, proposed in the work, characterizes the structure of the metal-cutting system, in general view including: workpiece; preparation device; machine; tool fixture; cutting tool. Here we consider the representation of the shaping functionr 0 , which also characterizes the structure of the metal-cutting system, but reflects its composition, shown in Figure (c):

<текст доступен в примере для скачивания> (1)

where A last.1, A last.2 - the product of the matrices of coordinate transformations (table), serially connected links of the shaping system before and after the mechanism of the parallel structure (Fig.), respectively; A par is the matrix of transformations of the coordinates of the parallel structure mechanism; r l= (x l y l z l 1) t – radius vector of shaping points cutting tool.

Vector error Δ r 0 position of the machined surface point with a radius vector r 0 by expression (1) has the form

<текст доступен в примере для скачивания> (2)

Expression (2) takes into account the effect on accuracy all elements that make up the function of shaping. To establish the influence of the parameters of geometric accuracy of only the mechanism of a parallel structure on the indicators of the geometric accuracy of machine tools and the machined part, we will make the assumption that the remaining elements of the shaping are ideal, i.e. do not have geometric errors, and also that A last 1 = A last 2 = E (E is the identity matrix). The basis of this assumption is the property of additivity of the vector error Δ r 0 .

  1. Analysis of the influence of the parallel structure mechanism on the accuracy of the machine tool

On the basis of the assumption made above, from expression (2) it is possible to single out a component that characterizes the influence on the accuracy of only the parallel mechanism

<текст доступен в примере для скачивания> (3)

Of the entire set of parallel mechanisms, consider the Stewart platform, which has 6 degrees of freedom and is used in the layouts of various machines - hexapods. When compiling the shaping function of such machines, virtual coordinates are used, while the matrix of transformations of the coordinates of the parallel mechanism has the form

<текст доступен в примере для скачивания> (4)

where the components of expression (4) are given in the table, thus

<текст доступен в примере для скачивания> (5)

Since only geometric errors are considered here (the influence of deformations of the rods of a parallel mechanism on the accuracy of processing is considered in), then expression (3) will be equivalent to the following expression:

<текст доступен в примере для скачивания> (6)

where the components of the matrix ε are the geometric errors of the position of the Stewart platform in space: δ x, δ y, δ z– small absolute displacements along the axes X, Y and Z respectively; α, β, γ are small angles of rotation around the axes X, Y and Z respectively.

Then, the components of the vector Δ r 0pm (6) will be equal to:

<текст доступен в примере для скачивания> (7)

Vector balance of geometric errors of the parallel structure mechanism (7) fully characterizes the potential causes leading to machining errors on a machine with a Stewart platform. Here the temptation arises - to determine such values of the parameters of the position of the Stewart platform, which would allow to completely, or partially, eliminate the components of the components of the vector Δ r 0pm

Example 1: an attempt to partially eliminate the influence zl in the Δ component r 0pm (1.1)

<текст доступен в примере для скачивания>

the solutions of this equation are the values of the angles φ= 0 and (or) ψ = ±p/2.

This example shows that such attempts only lead to the appearance of redundant links between the position of the virtual (and hence physical) coordinates of the platform, and, as a result, limit the shaping capabilities of the machine.

This example also shows that the study of the accuracy of machine tools without considering the process of shaping itself is rather abstract. The influence of various processes leading to the occurrence of a processing error cannot be considered separately from main function metal-cutting system - a cutting process consisting of two interrelated processes - shaping and stock removal.

Given the dual nature of the shaping function, all expressions for its definition, given both in and in this work, are based on the fact that it ( r 0), is also the radius vector of the machined surface r 0 = r 0 (u, v), where u, v– curvilinear coordinates of the processed surface. In proposed systems approach to obtain the metrological characteristics of the machined surface based on the normal balance of machining errors, defined as scalar product vector Δ r 0 and normal vectors n to the treated surface n = (n x n y n z 0) t.

<текст доступен в примере для скачивания> (8)

We modify the system of equations (7) in such a way that the following conditions are satisfied:

<текст доступен в примере для скачивания> (9)

where Corr x, corr y, Corrz– corrections made to the workpiece processing program to reduce the influence of geometric errors.

As shown in the above example, the direct application of expressions (9) is associated with the limitation of the shaping capabilities of the machine. Therefore, using the approach , we substitute expressions (9) into equation (8), after which we obtain basic equation for eliminating (reducing) the influence of geometric errors on processing accuracy

<текст доступен в примере для скачивания> (10)

It's important to note here:

1) correction values Corr x, corr y and Corrz are functions all virtual position coordinates of the Stewart platform ( x, y,z, φ, ψ, θ), which in turn are functions of variables ( u, v);

2) it does not matter whether a parallel mechanism is used to move the workpiece or the cutting tool (driven by a separate unit of the shaping system), since this implements a feed motion, therefore all the variables (virtual coordinates) in equation (10) are slow, i.e. compensated - independent of the speed of rotation of the tool.

The last subtlety allows us to recommend the proposed approach to reduce the influence of geometric errors of machine tools with mechanisms of a parallel structure on the processing accuracy. In this case, the matrix of coordinate transformations of the parallel mechanism (4) will take the form

<текст доступен в примере для скачивания> (11)

The transition from virtual coordinates that provide correction according to (11) to physical coordinates (platform rod lengths) is carried out according to the dependencies given in .

Example 2: consider the processing of a flat surface n =(0 0 1 0) t on the hexapod.

Equation (10) implies that Corrz = β x l- α y l- δ z.

The result obtained is similar to the dependence given in , however, there is fundamental difference. The coordinates of some points of the machine node are considered in order to control its geometric accuracy. Here we consider the coordinates of the cutting tool ( x l y l z l), which makes it possible to reduce the influence of geometric errors on the processing accuracy. We also note that in previous studies it was found that not all geometric errors of individual nodes affect the processing accuracy of a particular surface. This means that in a large number of processing cases such errors do not need to be compensated.

The practical application of the results obtained is associated with measuring the characteristics of the working space of the machine before the start of processing the workpiece and making corrections to its position during processing. In the event that a different mechanism of a parallel structure is used in the machine, then expression (4) must be modified (truncated), for example, for a mechanism with 5 degrees of freedom, the matrix of coordinate transformations can look like A steam = A 1 (x) A 2 (y) A 3 (z) A 4(φ) A 5(ψ).

  1. Conclusion

The paper considers the influence of geometric errors of parallel mechanisms used in metal-cutting machines on the accuracy of workpiece processing. An equation was obtained to eliminate (reduce) the influence of geometric errors on the accuracy of processing. It is shown that the obtained results have general character and can be applied to machine tools with various parallel mechanisms.

Publication scientific articles is a process that is subject to certain rules and requirements. In order not to waste your efforts in vain, it is necessary to understand all the nuances of preparing an article for a scientific journal in advance of writing a paper.

What should an article for publication in the VAK journal include?

Article HAC must meet certain requirements. Articles submitted to the editorial office must be related to the thematic direction of the journal, the authorship must be original, the article - not previously published.

The required minimum amount of text for publication in the VAK journal is from five pages.

Requirements for the design of a scientific article (fonts, spacing, margins are usually set out on the website of a particular publisher).

When choosing a topic, the author must clearly understand how the issue has been studied by scientists before. In this regard, it is necessary to familiarize yourself with the main literature related to the chosen topic. To do this, be sure to visit libraries, archives educational institutions, there are also many works, publications, dissertations in the network.

Name choice- a matter no less important than the presentation of the idea itself. If the title is chosen well, you will attract potential readers to your research. Conversely, if the title does not reflect briefly and succinctly what you want to say, the level of reader interest will be much lower.

We will separately consider the structure of the text of a scientific publication. In the introduction, the author should reflect the relevance of the issue under study, justify scientific novelty work, briefly outline the scope of his proposed solutions to scientific problems, highlight the effectiveness of his proposed method.

The main part of the article should be approximately 80-90% of the entire work. Here the author must describe the research methods used by him, describe in detail the stages of the research, the results of the tests.

An article can be theoretical or empirical and this has a direct impact on its structure.

Required content components:

  • analysis of previous research aimed at solving the problem posed, on which the author relies. It is necessary to indicate the specific scientists who dealt with this issue. If it is not possible to list them due to a large number, refer to the most authoritative names in the field.
  • identification of unresolved problems to which this publication is devoted. A feature of your work should be something that has not been studied before: this is a legal gap in the laws, or a periodization of a phenomenon developed by you. The effect of innovation, novelty is important.
  • definition of goals (problem setting).
  • a statement of the main essence of the research with a description of the data collection method is central part Your article, which you should pay special attention to.
  • conclusions and the vector of development of further research in this direction. This part of the article is the most important, because here you summarize all of the above and form your proposals for resolving the issue under consideration.

In other words, the final part should contain answers to the tasks indicated in the introduction. The reader should understand the purpose of your work, for which area of activity your research will be of practical importance.

Attention! The most difficult nuance is that the article is understandable to both a wide range of readers and a narrow specialist.

HAC requirements for scientific articles for dissertation defense

As mentioned earlier, there must be a certain coherent composition of the text - the meaning of each paragraph should follow from the previous one. The work should not give the impression of a chaotic, incoherent monologue. The consequence of this style of presentation is the lack of systematized substantiated conclusions.

Study the publications of venerable scientists, your more experienced colleagues.

Scientific articles, as a rule, are presented:

  1. in an impersonal form;
  2. divided into logical blocks;
  3. all blocks are interconnected;
  4. there is a clear text structure.

If the work contains a small review of scientific monographs, abstracts on the selected issue, do not forget about the correctness in relation to other authors.

In general, there are no special requirements that differ from the requirements of other publications for the articles of the Higher Attestation Commission. As well as any publication, the article of the Higher Attestation Commission should be distinguished by novelty, coverage of methods for obtaining data, and practical significance.

An example of requirements for an article in the Eurasian Law Journal

Eurasian Law Journal(hereinafter - EYJ) is in the List of leading peer-reviewed scientific journals and publications. The requirements for publications in such a journal are very high. If you decide to publish your work in this journal, you should familiarize yourself with the requirements of this publication in advance.

It must be remembered that the EYJ contains articles that correspond to the thematic direction this journal- materials on jurisprudence.

The article must be relevant to modern society, have scientific novelty and significance. You must justify which community your work will be of interest to - judges, lawyers, prosecutors. Otherwise, your article will not be approved for publication.

HAC requirements for the design of scientific articles: Be sure to indicate the name of the author, academic degree, then the title of the article, then the abstract and keywords in Russian and English. It is possible to translate the work into English. After the text of the article, a list of references is mandatory.

A simple failure to comply with the structure of an article, despite its brilliant content, can lead to a formal rejection of publication.

Starting the final stage of work on the "dissertation", which is the design, it is important to take into account all the requirements for the design of the dissertation Vak 2017 GOST. Consider the main thing - for particulars, a larger volume is needed than one article. At the same time, we constantly offer qualified assistance from experienced authors who know everything about GOSTs and are able to complete tasks of any complexity - promptly!
