More than eight hundred graduate students are trained in seventeen scientific specialties. In its composition, the department has nine faculties and institutes, where up to sixty departments function, and there is also a branch and research departments in Obninsk. Every year, the SUM courses improve the qualifications and retrain four thousand managers of various enterprises and their specialists. For almost a century of its existence, the university has produced more than one hundred thousand professional managers for various sectors of the economy.

About the university

Where does the feedback about the SUM come from: applicants, students, and teachers write. At its core, all reviews are grateful, but sometimes there are also constructive ones - with suggestions. It is felt that all those who wrote know and love the GUU. Open Doors Day gathers applicants from all over Moscow and the Moscow region. Although it is well known that it is not very easy to enter here, and studying is either difficult and expensive, or simply difficult, but interesting. The university is formed as a multi-level educational and research complex. The education he gives is rightfully considered one of the most thorough, and more than one comment came about the State University of Management as a system-forming university in the Russian Federation.

Bachelors at the university are trained in many areas: ecology and nature management; applied mathematics and informatics; advertising and public relations; jurisprudence; economy; sociology; personnel Management; management; state and municipal administration; business Informatics; Applied Informatics; innovation. The master's program has the following areas: economics; jurisprudence; finance and credit; management; personnel; tourism.

International activity

Positions of the world educational and scientific process supports active International activity conducted by the GUU. For example, for a long time and successfully this university has been participating in the European Foundation for Management Development, in the International Association of Universities, in the American Management Association and many others.

Applicants and students

SUM has a fairly large number of budget places, especially in the departments of economics and management. For example, in the second direction there are two hundred and sixty-four plus thirty places in a special quota. For comparison, you can look at the data of other universities - obviously the SUM budget is not small. There is also management and paid, at the same time six hundred people study there and another two hundred and sixty master two-diploma international programs. Quite a few students supply SUM Moscow and the Moscow region, they all live at home, so students from other cities have a very good hostel. Full-timers are entitled to a deferment from the army.

It always depends on the number of budget places. Of course, in GUU points high. For example, in jurisprudence for three subjects you need to get one hundred and forty-five points: foreign language and social science - fifty, forty-five - for the Russian language. There are slight discrepancies in some other specialties, but basically the passing grades do not fall significantly lower in the SUM. The cost of training varies depending on the choice of direction. For example, for obtaining an education in the specialty "State and municipal management" you need to pay 221,500 rubles a year for a full-time department and 84,300 for a part-time one. And education in the direction of "Document Science and Archiving" will cost 126,500 rubles a year.

With the appointment of the rector of United Russia Lobanov, who has no experience in the educational field, and his only merit is his acquaintance in the highest echelons of power, the introduction of standard methods of Russian "effective management" began. As in all, without exception, "effective state institutions" like Skolkovo, Rosnano, Roskosmos, the newly-minted "effective managers" are fluent only in the art of cutting and rolling back. First of all, the salaries of a teacher were reduced to a minimum ...

I am very satisfied with the work of the admission campaign in 2018 at SUM. Everything is well organized. Everyone will explain. The whole process is divided into stages. At each stage, they will meet, check and direct to the next. They were afraid of huge queues, they are not there. Although they submitted documents at the very peak -3 July. At the last stage, the conclusion of contracts, 13 tables work. Before that, 5 years ago, they submitted documents to MATI with their son, and there was a complete mess there. I hope that the educational process at the SUM will be organized no worse than the host company.

Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, Lecturer at the Department of Philosophy of the State University of Management. I was lucky to join him for a PhD course in History and Philosophy of Science in 2018. A wonderful person and teacher, one of the few "whom" even graduate students go to. Classes were built in the form of a conversation, which is good for people who are not the first time studying philosophy. Candidate exams were passed by everyone who went to classes or prepared on their own. Igor Nikolaevich himself offers to participate in the conference and publications, which ...

Unfortunately, in our country there are too many universities that issue only certificates of completed education, but at the same time do not provide any knowledge. This university (if it can be called the highest educational institution, and not vocational school or, as it is fashionable to say, college) just belongs to this category. What can we say about the quality of education received there, when a woman of 70 years old is teaching computer science on antediluvian computers with terrifying monitors? At the same time, the teacher told several pairs in a row ...

Received a bachelor's degree from GUU. About corruption. All my friends and I took all the tests and exams ourselves for 4 years, we did not pay. There were those in the group who bought whole sessions, but did not finish their studies. My girlfriend entered and guu on the budget through someone from above (giving a bribe) and is now entering the magistracy in the same way. According to teachers: for 4 years, well, 30 percent were strong, somewhere around 50 were average and 20 were simply disgusting. If you play for the guu team in any sport, then you will get an increased...

I entered SUM in 2014, and to be honest, my first opinion was not the best, because I got to the university through local small shops and arches where ordinary people, not students in guu. Upon admission, everything was very organized both when submitting documents and from the beginning of study. There are many good teachers in guu. The quality of education is, of course, a level lower than in more prestigious universities Moscow, but a student who wants to study will not hurt!

My son entered the State University this year. I will not write about the successful organization of the host company again. I would like to write a few words about my son's first days at SUM. The first thing that struck me was that a meeting was organized for the first-year students even before the start of educational process. It was not a boring meeting or "subbotnik", but a meeting well organized by curators at fresh air with competitions and quizzes where children could get acquainted. I quote my son's review: "This is cooler than graduation at school!" Next with...

Good afternoon. My daughter is not yet studying at the State University of Management, but has just entered. I can say right away that the first impression of the Admissions Committee is extremely important for me. Everything here was organized highest level. I myself am a top manager of a large holding and I can evaluate any action from the point of view of a competent organization :) A crowd of anxious applicants with crazy moms (like me) and dads, especially those who didn’t write the exam very well - this is a very difficult audience! Always a lot of the same questions and errors...

Nobody is responsible for anything! For all 6 years, they have not provided a single practice! Money tear up is not small, but zero sense! Talentless teachers who cannot even explain their core subject! Deans change like gloves! The buildings are in ruins! One projector for the whole building, no normal canteen, no cash desk. Machines with coffee do not work "UK" Semenovsky! The curator of the group was disgusting! Everyone doesn't care! 6 months could not explain the standards of writing a diploma! Schedule mess...

There are a lot of reviews about the State University on the Internet, I will add my own) I love my university. Yes, there are overlays here, some teachers are annoying, but where is it different? Here they give real knowledge, and not just extracts from books of the third grade. Do you want to study? You will be given maximum knowledge, and if not, your problems. Getting the specialty of a manager on the Ros-Brit program, I am very pleased with the choice, I will immediately make a reservation: no one forces you to go to England by force) Moreover, the university has absolutely real opportunities ...

Hello forum members! I plan to next year enroll in the magistracy of the State University of Management in the direction - Management. Is there anyone out there already doing this kind of training? Is it possible to get all the knowledge that is mentioned on the university website? I would be glad to hear all your opinions - Pros and Cons.! Thank you in advance.

He graduated in 1980. The knowledge gained at SUM is still enough for scientific and practical work. Until today (2015) I have been successfully cooperating with the university. I work in the specialty I received to this day in the system of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, doctor, professor. Relations at the university are very benevolent and democratic. A large number of my classmates have achieved significant success in science, business, public administration. The education provided by SUM can be called fundamental...

Graduated from school with a gold medal! I dreamed of entering MESI, but once I visited the State University of Management, I decided that I would only enter here! Satisfied with my choice! Excellent teachers! (many have worked in enterprises before and have experience, which means they can perfectly share their knowledge with us). Classes are often held in a fun way (playful), which stimulates the pursuit of knowledge! Doing various projects and then defending them in front of a fairly large audience allows you to develop public speaking skills ...

Dear parents, do not send your children to this "State University of Management". It's just awful! The hostel simply does not shine for your children, and prepare money, a lot of money. It is a shame for our country to have such universities. The housing commission does not work, the children have not been settled for six months. Only promises that cannot be trusted and a lot of lies.

If a person studied with you and is a friend, this does not mean that he is a good leader. Our entire country is working on an outsourcing system, maybe it will be more profitable for your manager.

I am a student mother. The son finished school well (without triples), a high USE score. He graduated from the 1st course of Moscow State University of Civil Engineering, evening department at the branch in Lyubertsy. But the branch decided to close. They wanted to transfer to the SUM for a fee. Called the admissions office today. Apparently an old klusha is sitting there, who immediately began to accuse that my son was probably kicked out and no one would take him. After talking with her, I received a lot of negativity. Although I contacted the dean's office by mail and they wrote back that there would be no problems. It looks like the GUU is not needed ...

I want to remind everyone that when you graduate from school, you become adults who will fight their own way. I did not study at other universities, but after graduating from school with a gold medal, I entered the State University of Management at the Institute Information Systems(Management). My institute is much more difficult than others: the course of mathematics, design and programming is about 70%, the rest is the same subjects as other institutes: management, finance, logistics, psychology, sociology, a foreign language (2 years), etc. When ...

In this institute, so to speak, they don't teach anything. Solid theorizing of people who have not come into contact with real business even an inch. All training in this institution consists in: 1) Payment of considerable sums in the bank "Dalena". For example, on the State management price tag - 270 thousand rubles. in year (!). It's not realistic to get on the budget. Only thieves come. Nothing has changed in 2 decades; 2) Sitting at meaningless lectures, where they read material, firstly, adapted for the states, according to American ...

I am a student at the State University of Management, who entered there in 2013, at the faculty of personnel management. In the first half of the year we studied the subject - computer science. It would seem a very necessary and correct subject. But what really happened? Lectures and seminars were conducted by an 80-year-old old woman, it was impossible to listen to her lectures, everything was incomprehensible to them, she told it in a poignant tone, she didn’t care about anything. Further seminars, I did not miss a single seminar, I completed all the tasks, but nevertheless, when ...

The story of how the life credo of 15,000 students becomes the words: Guarantee, Confidence, Success.

SUM today is the largest management university, where more than 15 thousand students study in 17 undergraduate programs, 8 master's programs, 24 specialties and 55 specializations. More than 800 people are undergoing postgraduate training in 20 scientific specialties. About 1.5 thousand specialists and heads of enterprises and organizations undergo retraining and improve their skills annually. Being a good manager today is a chance to become successful in one or another field of activity, but becoming a manager with a SUM diploma is the key to the doors of the largest and most prosperous companies. Well, now more about what the State University of Management is.

Admission.

You can enter the State University of Management as USE results as well as internal examinations. The competition is quite high, the passing score too. The university offers a wide range of educational programs in such popular specialties as management, economics, law, state and municipal administration, and much more.

How is the training going?

The learning process is not as scary as it seems to the first-year student. During the first semester, everyone is afraid of the session, but then they realize that if they "get involved" in the process in time, then everything will go "excellent". Further, the complexity increases, since each specialty requires a deeper knowledge of subjects of a narrow focus.

Guushniks study in 2 shifts. For some it is very convenient, for others not so much. It is worth noting that each semester is a surprise in terms of the shift in which the guys will study.

Starting from September 1, 2013, for all students, starting with a new enrollment, a point-rating system of education was introduced. That is, a student's grade in the exam is made up of many factors, for example: attendance, work at seminars, homework, etc. For them, points are given, which, in turn, form the rating of students.

Training day of the guushnik.

Couples at the first shift start at 8.15. Terrible stress. Classes end at 15.10. The second shift is from 11.35 to 18.30. In fact, there are very few fully loaded days in the school week. In both shifts there is a 40-minute break to have a snack, since there are a lot of places for this in SUM.

Homework.

The main part of homework is continuous reports and abstracts literally at every lesson. With the exception of such subjects as higher mathematics or accounting, where you need to solve and defend various laboratory work and tasks. Plus, it's two or three coursework per semester. And, of course, every student of SUM, by the last year, is a professional in creating presentations. Be prepared that each teacher will ask you to make a presentation and accompany it with a couple of memorable slides.

Sport.

Sports development in SUM is included in the framework of physical culture. At the beginning of each semester, the student chooses the sports direction in which he would like to engage. And there are plenty to choose from: from ping-pong to wrestling. You can get into the university team if you show yourself well or confirm your sports merits with diplomas, medals, categories ...

Extracurricular activities.

Student life at SUM is not only about studying, but also about being active outside of it. Here you can give free rein to your talents and ambitions. The main extracurricular student body is the SUM Student Council, where you can prove yourself in such areas as: social, cultural, patriotic, educational.

We hold annual projects: "Miss GUU", "Mr. GUU", "Successful Leader Course", "Donor's Day", "GUU Meeting Place". Along with them, there are innovations: a project where, having thrown your phone the farthest, you get an Iphone 5 in return - “Take more, throw further”. And such projects of the SUM Student Council as the music competition "Vinyl" are aimed at cooperation with other universities in Moscow. All these activities are coordinated by student activists themselves.

Also, KVN is widely developed in our university. Our teams participate in leagues of various levels. Any student can assemble his own team and start by participating in the GUU KVN League, or become part of an existing team.

In addition to all of the above, the SUM has a large number of various sections, in such areas as dance ("STUDos"), business ("Case-club"), photography (photo club "Objective") and many others.

Hostel.

There are 2 dormitory buildings on the territory of the SUM, each with 18 floors. The location is very convenient - to any educational building no more than 2 minutes. It is important not to miss the check-in, because the queue of people who want it is very long. The living conditions are comfortable, the price is quite reasonable.

instead of a conclusion.

Having entered the State University of Management, you realize that you are already an adult, a person responsible for yourself. Of course, there are difficulties everywhere and always, and our university is no exception. But each of our students knows one thing for sure: the education given at SUM is a guarantee successful career, confidence in the future, success in the formation of personality.

Welcome to the State University of Management!
