Thinking about where to go in June, the first thing that comes to mind is a trip to the sea, and the best sea in June can be found in exotic countries. Yes, in northern regions Vietnam, as well as in the resort of Nha Trang, hot but dry weather is established. The temperature of +30 °C is easily tolerated due to the low humidity uncharacteristic for this country. During this period, the dry season begins. The water in the sea is kept at a comfortable +26 °C.

Fans of trips to Thailand should go to the coast of Malacca, where at this time the most favorable conditions for recreation are established. Good weather is also in the area of ​​​​the popular resorts of Pattaya. But it is better not to fly to the western part of the country: during this period, heavy winds and storms break down there.

What are these islands? Perhentian(Perhentian Island)?
The Perhentian Islands are located about 19 km off the northeast coast of Malaysia in the state of Terengganu.

These are two islands: Perhentian Besar(Big) and Perhentian Kecil(Small)
Perhentian in Malay means "place of respite" - after all, it was here that merchant ships between Thailand and Malaysia stopped in the old days in order to resupply drinking water and freshen up (in the sense of rest).

How to get to the Perhentian Islands

First, you need to get into Kuala Lumpur- the capital of Malaysia.
Flight tickets to Kuala Lumpur from Russia, Thailand, any other country can be found on the website.

Second, you need flights from Kuala Lumpur in Kota Bharu(KBR).
There are two airports in Kuala Lumpur: international KUL and domestic SZB– be careful – from abroad you will fly to KUL!

Arriving in Kota Bharu, we will take a taxi to the pier Kuala Besut from where we will get to the island by speedboat from the hotel Perhentian Kecil, beach long beach.
Others use the bus service between the airport and the pier, and then buy ferry tickets to the island.

Beaches on Perhentian Kecil Island

I will write more about the beaches after visiting this island, but in preparation for the trip, I looked at the map of the island's beaches: 6 large beaches with housing and many deserted bays with sandy beaches throughout the island.

On the big island of Besar, there are also beaches and a greater choice of housing there, but as they say on Western sites: there is more attention to hotels, not beaches, and therefore there are many pensioners and people for whom the main thing is to lie down on a sun lounger.

Therefore, we will visit the island, but after 3 days on Kecil we will move to another big Island: Pulau Redang.
