Such an organization is headed by a chairman who directs the activities of the trade union committee and students and its presidium.

What does the trade union committee do and is it worth joining its ranks?

Probably anyone holiday, whether it's a KVN game, festivals, beauty contests are not complete without the participation of the trade union committee.

Every holiday: New Year, March 8, February 23 flash mobs, concerts, actions are arranged at the university. Students owe these bright and unforgettable events to the trade union committee. In addition, the trade union committee participates in various city and all-Russian promotions types: "AntiAIDS", "No to drugs", "For healthy lifestyle Life”, “Donor Day”, “Population Census”, etc.

It also manages the organization educational and training activities. It is the trade union committee that helps to bring trainings, seminars, master classes, in order to make studies even more interesting and exciting.

One of the important tasks is development of student self-government.

It is also in charge of overseeing public food students, cooperation with various city public organizations and authorities.

The trade union produces and lawyer consulting , provides information materials on guarantees, rights, obligations and benefits that are provided for by law.

What does the trade union give to the student?

Firstly, by joining the ranks of the trade union committee, a student receives the rights of a member of the trade union committee, but he should not forget about his duties either.

If a student has joined the ranks of a trade union, then he can count on the protection of his social and labor rights and interests by the Trade Union.

The student has the right to take part in the development, discussion and decision-making, as well as to receive information about the activities of the Trade Union. He also has the right to participate in the activities of the trade union committee and make proposals for improving the regulatory framework.

He can elect himself and can elect him to trade union conferences, to elected trade union bodies.

He can participate in meetings, can attend free consultations and legal assistance on issues related to the activities of the Trade Union.

But along with rights come responsibilities. A member of this organization is obliged to take part in the activities of the trade union, to comply with the Charter of the Trade Union, to fulfill the duties stipulated by collective agreements and agreements. Maintaining the authority of the trade union is also one of the duties of the student.

Thus, it is possible and even necessary to join the ranks of the trade union committee.

It may sound pretentious, but the student trade union committee is on guard of your interests, student!

Chairman of the Student Union Eseleva Valeria
(CST Institute, 2nd year)

FROM early childhood In any case, I always defend my position in life. She repeatedly took part and became the winner and prize-winner of scientific, dance and creative competitions, and in 2014 she became deputy chairman of the youth parliament of the city of Kotelniki (Moscow region). This gave me vast experience in organizing and holding city-scale events. In addition, I am fond of horse riding.

I have always been interested and attracted by social work, working with people, working in a team. It's great when people unite and create high-quality, meaningful projects. I get pleasure and joy from this work. Such projects help to move forward - to new opportunities and achievements.

I became the leader of the student trade union organization thanks to a wonderful teacher, the former deputy director for the Cossacks, Boris Lvovich Orlov. He advised me to put forward my candidacy for the post of chairman of the student trade union organization, he supported me throughout election campaign for which I am very grateful to him.

The chairman of the student trade union organization deals with issues that make the life of students at the university comfortable and protected. These are: taking care of a decent standard of living for each student, organizing their leisure and recreation, material support for needy students. One of the significant areas of our organization is the volunteer movement.

Students provide charitable assistance - visit orphanages, rehabilitation centers, animal shelters. This movement leaves no one indifferent. At present, our organization is smoothly and regularly performing its functions, in the near future we plan to unite all students of our university.

Of course, today's youth is more active than before. This is manifested in many ways: students are happy to stay after their studies in various sports and creative sections, join the student council or trade union, take an active part in organizing and holding events, prepare and promote their projects themselves. Many students say that our trade union organization has become one big and friendly family for them. Members of the trade union, trade unionists, leaders of various areas of the student trade union organization not only communicate within the walls of the university, but also arrange meetings outside of school hours. Not a single significant university event passes by without the attention of our student organization and without our most active participation: a large circle Russian Cossacks, Christmas educational readings, various trips, "Kazachiy Stan", donor days, the Rector's KVN Cup, days of national unity - and this is not counting the annual public holidays. My separate project is the Talent Marathon contest. We launched it in 2017, more than 70 students and student teams of our university and college took part in it.

For me, being a student of Moscow State University of Technology and at the same time chairman of the council of a student trade union organization is an interesting and eventful life, a lot of new acquaintances and friends, gaining invaluable experience, acquiring the knowledge and skills necessary for a successful professional start, but just in everyday life.

I wish all university students not to be passive, not to sit still, but to be actively involved in student life, take part in our events, create and promote projects and fully enjoy student life, because student time is the best time when people acquire not only knowledge, but also useful skills, experience, acquaintance with interesting people, but it happens that they meet their soul mate. And, of course, I wish all students to join our trade union organization and become a member of a large and friendly family!

Trade union activists started the year fruitfully on the implementation of intra-university initiatives for the benefit of students. To date, on the basis of MSUTU, the MSUTU film club, the school of club dance, free courses foreign languages, thematic discussion clubs. It is planned, with the support of the Moscow authorities, to organize a "Center for Support and Development of Youth Entrepreneurship" at the university. Our famous KVN team and the football team never ceases to please us with their victories, and this is a considerable merit of the student trade union committee. And in addition to the traditional “Freshman Days” and “Miss and Mister MGUTU”, student activists also have quite standard events - for example, the student action “Bribe Funeral”, where students and teachers give a vow not to take or give bribes. In general, having got into the asset of the trade union committee, you will not be bored. But there are other moments in life when a person needs someone's help and support. And in such a situation, the student turns to the trade union, where he can count on material assistance. This is another, albeit not so cheerful, but very main part the work of the student trade union committee. In addition to the above, the trade union organization of students is a close-knit friendly family, consisting of students of all courses and faculties who know how to work and relax together, who know how to listen to new ideas and implement them together.

Union! In every university, this word sounds proud, especially since it gives students certain powers and privileges. This very important organization, whose membership ensures a carefree student life and also provides unique opportunity see the world.

Yes - yes, it was thanks to the trade union of my university that I once traveled all over Ukraine and captured part of the Russian Federation. Impressions sea, and the memory of travel for life remained.

That is why in my next article I decided to touch on the topic of what a student trade union committee is, and whether this is worthy of attention. social organization. I will say right away - worthy, and here's why!

Student trade union committee as a way to protect students

Speaking of student trade union committee, both students and teachers imply a special local government body that directs and controls the work of faculties, existing public organizations, circles and other creative departments.

To put it simply, the trade union committee is engaged in the trade union activities of a higher educational institution.

The chairman of the trade union committee is in charge of the organization, and the presidium of the trade union committee is selected from all other students on a voluntary basis and on their own initiative.

All members of the trade union committee receive trade union tickets, and monthly make a fixed monetary contribution in favor of their membership.

This is a prerequisite, without which you can become expelled from the trade union for non-compliance with the charter of the organization.

But we'll talk about this later, but for starters, it's worth finding out how to become a member of this public organization?

Student trade union committee and membership in the organization

Let's start with the fact that membership in a trade union is a kind of tradition that our parents and grandmothers started in their time.

Even during the USSR, every plant had trade union organizations, which, first of all, represented the interests of the working class and acted as a kind of opposition to the leadership.

Times are changing, but the task of the modern trade union committee is about the same.

To become a full-fledged member of the trade union, the student group must elect a trade union representative by voluntary vote, who represents its interests at the level of the trade union committee.

Already at the first meeting of this organization (and it will be held in September of each school year) the trade union organization for its entire group receives a form - an application for the student to join the trade union at will.

Students write such a statement only once, and most often this happens in the first year.

There are two copies of the forms - applications, and after filling them out, the future member of the trade union must attach two 3 * 4 photographs to them, and take them all together to the trade union committee or transfer them through the trade union representative of the group.

In about a week you can come for trade union ticket, which, in fact, is as important a document as a student ID card.

So losing it is extremely undesirable.

The trade union committee keeps a card of a trade union member, which lists all the contributions that were made to the organization while studying at the university.

Upon graduation, the student, in the absence of debts, is given this card, filled out only with a black gel (fountain) pen, for further provision to the trade union organization of the enterprise where he will be employed as a young specialist.

The trade union card is not withdrawn, although at work they may offer to replace it, but this is already in accordance with the charter of the individual trade union organization.

Student trade union committee and distribution of responsibilities

Usually, trade union chairman- This is a full-time position, that is, paid from the budget. The question immediately arises, what is the task of such a trade unionist?

The chairman coordinates the work of the entire trade union, in particular deals with the following issues:

1. Sale of concessionary travel cards for students on public transport. In this case, it is about land transport and metro.

2. Providing grants to all needy students. Such social payments are made in individually, and the amount of subsidies may be different and partly depends on the financial capabilities and resources of the organization itself.

3. Signature of bypass sheets. Such a need arises, as a rule, at the end of the fifth year, or rather after the successful defense of the graduation project;

4. Providing preferential tickets or flyers for concerts, theatrical performances, museum expositions, exhibitions and premieres. That is, to lead cultural life and you can develop as a student at a good discount, and all this is thanks to the student trade union committee.

5. Distribution of vouchers to holiday camps, which is especially important in winter and summer periods when the next session is far behind.

6. Provision of travel abroad, as well as active promotion of the student exchange program. However, such issues cannot be resolved without the participation of the dean's office and the leadership of the university.

Now it becomes clear what the trade union committee is doing, and many students consider the existence of such a public organization in the university to be their greatest luck as students; after all, it would seem to be the most inconspicuous trade union card, but it is endowed with so many powers.

Student trade union committee and student problems

If you look at it this way, then without this organization the rights of students can be violated at every step. And so, the union provides:

1. protection and support of the rights of students;

2. organization of recreation and leisure;

3. solution contentious issues in pairs and in a student hostel;

4. comprehensive development of students;

5. promoting intercontinental communication;

6. improvement of students during the holidays;

7. Promotion of students through the line, sports, science or social activities.

It turns out that a student, being a member of a trade union, receives not only social protection, but also legal protection, that is, throughout his studies, his rights will not be violated.

And in case of occurrence conflict situations at the level of the dean's office, the trade union committee will try to smooth out all the "sharp corners".

Student trade union committee and trade union dues

Monthly union dues- this is mandatory payment for each member of the trade union committee, which is officially subsidized by the regulation on the Primary Trade Union Organization of Students and Postgraduates.

Amount withheld Money each university has its own, but today it does not exceed 50 rubles.

But all students care main question, but where does this money go, and a lot of it, given the number of students?
There are several directions, but representatives of the trade union committee can report, as they say, "for every penny."

Here are some eloquent examples, when studying which it becomes obvious that such expenses are not only justified and necessary, but also very humane.

1. Rendering a one-time financial assistance students - members of the trade union, if a fatal event, tragedy or trouble has occurred in their family.

2. Assistance in the development and modernization of the student hostel.

3. Targeted events, including conferences, information work, recreation and health improvement.

Any financial expense is not an individual, but a collective decision, moreover, it is strictly controlled by the Audit Commission.

If members of the trade union committee take a certain amount of money for valid needs, they are obliged to record this fact in writing in order to report to the audit commission and at the planned trade union meeting to all members of the organization if necessary.

So this is a kind of "student's piggy bank" for a rainy day, and if necessary, you can count on some financial assistance from your colleagues.

In addition, if you ignore trade union dues, you can very soon leave the ranks of the members of this public organization, and in disgrace!

Student trade union committee and duties of its members

In addition to the monthly fee, the student has a number of obligations to the student organization, the failure to fulfill which is also fraught with trouble and serious problems.

So, each member of the trade union is obliged:

1. Fulfill the Charter of the trade union;

2. Comply with the collective agreement;

3. Stick to the agreement;

4. Take a direct part in the work of the trade union;

6. Find contact with all members of the trade union organization;

7. Pay union dues.

In general, becoming a member of this public organization is always prestigious, especially since a number of privileges allow you to lead a carefree student life and get a new the right experience which will definitely come in handy in future profession and more than once.

Membership in a trade union organization- this is an opportunity to develop your personal and organizational qualities, as well as to become a sociable, sociable and contact person, gain tremendous experience in teamwork and management, find new friends and make profitable connections.

So it's time to seriously think about such bright and favorable prospects for the future, and immediately take advantage of them!

Conclusion: Every modern student must know what a student trade union committee is, why this public organization is needed, and what are its main privileges.

In general, the organization is useful and in demand, but most importantly, it is a kind of "ticket to life."

On an informative student site, the site is presented detailed information on the this topic so that all doubts and questions will be immediately resolved.

Now you know what is a student union.

Before (conditionally) free education. Among such phenomena are student trade unions. However…

The student union is rather a worldwide phenomenon. Their student associations in one form or another, it exists in the "hotbed of capitalism" - the United States, and in the "stronghold of democracy" - Europe, and in the "country of new communism" - China. Being a member of a union gives you privileges all over the world. And if you decide to travel, take your trade union card with you - with it you will not only get a discount to the Louvre (by the way, it is for all students with ISIC), but you can also count on real help with or participation in the experience exchange program.

A little about the material

Let's not spread our thoughts on the tree, assuring you of the importance of the trade union. In every university, in every trade union committee, they will talk about the protection of rights, bright prospects and help in difficult times. But you are most likely interested in the specifics. Let's talk about her.

How to enter?

Nothing complicated. Take a student card, look for a local trade union representative (you can ask senior students, you can - in the dean's office), fill out the form that he will give, and get a trade union card. All. Now you are a member of the student association.

What is from you?

You only need two things. The first is to make membership dues (what do you think?). The second is to help when asked. Usually we are talking about events - from concerts to small actions. They won’t require anything supernatural from you: anyone can put up ads, distribute leaflets, move props from place to place. Of course, if you decide to make a career within the union, you can take on more, host events, perform songs and dances at concerts. You will gladly be given these responsibilities.

What is for you?

  1. Preferential travel cards for the metro, buses, trolleybuses and any other land transport.
  2. Help with registration social scholarship and other payments (provided to orphans, students from large families, the poor, etc.).
  3. Preferential (sometimes completely free) tickets for cultural events (performances, expositions, concerts, etc.).
  4. Cheap or free vouchers to student camps (including resorts in the Krasnodar Territory).
  5. Participation in programs for the exchange of experience by students, travel abroad (with the participation of the dean's office and the administration of the university).

A little about social

The student union is often seen as a source of material gain- scholarships, vouchers, travel cards. Meanwhile, it was originally created to protect the rights of students. What can one person do? Is he able to resist the arbitrariness of "authority", no matter what we talk about? Alas. By becoming a member of a trade union, you get the opportunity to fight for official level. It was this meaning that was attached to it after the revolution.

A trade union is also a community. The community of students that took place and. By actively participating in the life of the trade union, you will get to know students from other faculties and courses. If you wish, you will acquire connections that will be useful both during your studies and after graduation.

Many students are unionized and pay dues. But does everyone take advantage of the possibilities of this association?
