The performance of the final qualifying work is a comprehensive check of the preparation of a specialist for practical activities, as well as the most important form of implementation of the skills acquired in the process of learning the student's creative, independent work. The defense of the final qualification work is one of the types of attestation tests provided for by the state final attestation.

The main objectives of the implementation and WRC protection are:

  • development of skills for conducting independent theoretical and experimental research and design and technological work;
  • gaining experience in processing, analyzing and systematizing the results of information and experimental research, carrying out theoretical and engineering calculations;
  • gaining experience in public defense of the results of their activities.

VKR can be a completely independent work of a student, and also be an independently performed part of the research or development work of a creative team, carried out under the guidance of a teacher of the graduating department with an invitation, if necessary, a consultant from among the employees of the higher educational institution or third parties.
