Department of Economic History. Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus

For the first time, as an independent course, economic theory (until 1992 - political economy) was included in the curriculum of the Gory-Goretsky Agricultural Institute (GZI) in 1859. Later, economic theory (political economy) became a permanent academic discipline of a higher agricultural educational institution and taught in all faculties.

By curriculum in 1923-24 courses on political economy, agricultural economy, agrarian (agricultural) policy and legislation were given at the institute.

In 1927, the institute had 45 departments, including the department of political economy.

In the first post-war years, there was no independent department of political economy. It was rebuilt in 1949.

The department retained the name "political economy" until 1992, since 1992 - the department economic theory.

The further development of the department is connected with the improvement of the content of theoretical economic courses reflecting the synthetic nature of modern economic knowledge, world development trends and the peculiarities of Belarus.

Department staff

Department head- doctor economic sciences, Professor Konstantinov Sergey Alexandrovich(born in 1953). Graduated with honors from the Faculty of Economics of the Belarusian Agricultural Academy (1975), postgraduate studies (1981), doctoral studies at the BelNII of Economics and Information of the AIC (1999). After graduating from the academy, he worked as the chief economist of the Chyrvonydazor collective farm in the Lelchitsky district of the Gomel region, then as a teacher at the Belarusian Agricultural Academy: assistant, lecturer, senior lecturer, associate professor, professor, since 2004 - head. In 1977-.1979 in connection with the election, he worked as a secretary of the Komsomol committee of the academy. In 2001-2002 year. taught at the Kimry Mechanical and Technological College of the Tver Region (Russia), as well as at the branch of the Moscow state university economics, statistics and information. From July 25, 2002 to August 20, 2002, he worked as a leading researcher at the Belarusian Research Institute of Agrarian Economics. He defended his Ph.D. thesis in 1983, the academic title of associate professor was awarded in 1993. Doctor of Economic Sciences (Russia - 2002, Belarus - 2003). Direction scientific activity: study of factors and reserves for improving efficiency Agriculture.

Contribution to science: theoretical provisions on the efficiency of agriculture have been developed, in particular, its criteria and indicators have been specified, patterns of change in the main indicators of agricultural efficiency depending on production volumes have been identified, the essential factors of agricultural efficiency have been identified and systematized, the relationship between various types losses and reserves for efficiency growth, a methodology and methodology for determining losses and internal reserves for the efficiency of the use of production resources have been developed, a methodology for determining optimal size large commercial agricultural enterprise of the country, theoretical and practical advice rational ratio of fixed and working capital in the agricultural sector and optimization of the number of administrative staff, methodological approaches to improve economic relations in the agro-industrial complex are substantiated. Pakush Larisa Vladimirovna- Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary (born in 1943). Graduated from the Belarusian Agricultural Academy (1965). From 1965 to 1983 she worked at the BSAA as an assistant, senior lecturer, associate professor of the Department of Political Economy. She defended her PhD thesis at the Leningrad Agricultural Institute in 1972, the academic title of associate professor was awarded in 1975, in the period 1991-1996. worked as an assistant professor at the Department of Economic Theory of the Mogilev Pedagogical Institute named after. A. Kuleshova; 2006-2007 - Dean of the Faculty of Economics, BSAA; then at the Academy of Management under the President of the Republic of Belarus, at the State Agrarian and Technical University (Vice-Rector for Scientific Activities, Vice-Rector for Educational Work), in 2009-2016. Head of the Department of Economics and International Economic Relations in the AIC.

For a long time she worked in responsible political and government positions. Doctor of Economic Sciences of Kazakhstan and Belarus (2003), Professor (2008), Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus (since 1997 - lifelong diplomatic rank). She worked at the department in 1966-86, 1996-97. - in this period. Head of the Department of Economic Theory, since 2016 - Professor of the Department of Economic Theory. The area of ​​scientific interests is economic and mathematical modeling, conceptual approaches and mechanisms for improving trade and economic relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Kazakhstan. docent. Graduated from the Faculty of Economics of the Timiryazev Agricultural Academy, in 1998 she defended her Ph.D. She worked as the chief economist of the Ploskovsky state farm in the Smolensk region.

She has been working at BSAA since 1981. During this time she has held the positions of an assistant, Art. lecturer, associate professor, dean of the faculty accounting correspondence department, head of the department of statistics.

She has been working at the Department of Economic Theory since 2018.

Research interests: sustainable development of rural areas. Monographs, regional, republican recommendations and more than 35 articles have been published on the topic (140 publications in total).

Chausova Svetlana Konstantinovna- Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor (born in 1958). In 1981 she graduated from the BSAA, in 1991 - the Institute of Political Science and social management majoring in Theory of Socio-Political Relations (with honors)

In 1996, she defended her Ph.D. thesis at the Belarusian State University on the topic “Socio-economic foundations and functions of the family”, scientific specialty 08.00.01. - political economy. In 2005, she was awarded the academic title of associate professor in the specialty "Economics". After graduating from the academy, she worked as the chief specialist of the collective farm of the Krichevsky district, then as the second secretary of the Klichev district committee of the Komsomol, later as an instructor in organizational work, head of the social security department and deputy chairman of the Krichevsky city executive committee. Since 2000, she worked as a senior lecturer, then as an associate professor at the Department of Economics and International Economic Relations in the agro-industrial complex of the EE "BSAA". Since 2018 - Associate Professor of the Department of Economic Theory. He has 63 scientific publications (including 32 educational and methodical works).

Eismont Irina Tikhonovna-senior teacher (born in 1971)

She graduated from the Faculty of Economics of the Belarusian State Agricultural Academy in 1996. After graduating from the academy, she worked as an engineer at the ULC of the Belarusian State Agricultural Academy. Since 1997, she has been employed at the EE "BSAA" at the Department of Economics and International Economic Relations as an assistant. In 2000-2005, she studied full-time postgraduate studies in the specialty 08.00.05 "Economics and Management of the National Economy" at the EE "BSAA". Since 2005, she has been working as a teacher at the Department of Economic Theory. In 2009, she was elected to the position of senior lecturer at the Department of Economic Theory.

More than 40 works have been published, including 6 methodological developments. Research interests: problems of organization and management marketing activities, improvement of an effective commodity distribution network at the processing enterprises of the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Belarus.

Lagun Marina Alexandrovna- senior lecturer (born in 1982)

In 2004 she graduated from the Faculty of Economics of the Belarusian State Agricultural Academy. After graduation, she worked as an accountant at ZAO Niva, Shklovsky district, Mogilev region. In 2010-2013 studied at the postgraduate course of the EE "BSEU" at the Department of Economic Theory, specialty 08.00.01 - economic theory, scientific qualification "Researcher" was awarded. She has more than 40 publications, 6 of them are methodical. Research interests - externalities, state regulation of agriculture, internalization of negative externalities in the agricultural sector.

Shandrakova Marina Gennadievna- Senior Lecturer (born in 1984). In 2007 she graduated from the Faculty of Accounting of the Belarusian State Agricultural Academy with a diploma with honors and an honorary diploma of a student scientific society. She was a postgraduate student from 2007 to 2020. In 2008-2019 worked as a deputy Secretary of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union, since 2010 a teacher, and since 2016 - a senior teacher.

Published 55 articles and abstracts in Belarusian and foreign publications (Poland, Russia), 26 of them - own, 29 - in co-authorship with students. Areas of professional interest - the competitiveness of potato products, cluster organization and problems of cluster management efficiency.

Kivulya Daria Sergeevna- teacher (born in 1984). In 2005 she graduated with honors from the Kursk Institute of Management, Economics and Business with a degree in World economy»

The direction of scientific activity is the realization of property rights to Natural resources, sustainable development. Garusova Olga Sergeevna-teacher (born in 1987). Material and technical base

The department, starting from the post-war years, has been engaged in the selection of educational and methodological literature. There are about 3000 publications in the book fund of the department. More than 2,500 students, graduate students and teachers independently work with the literature of the department every month. technical support educational process and scientific activities of the department are provided by laboratory assistants O. V. Gordeenko and E. A. Borikova.

The department has a student scientific circle "Sustainable Development".

Within the framework of the project "School active citizen”, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Economic Theory and Law Korennaya N.P. met with schoolchildren of 8-11 grades of secondary school No. 196 in Minsk. What is the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus? When and why was it taken? What does it mean to be a citizen of the Republic of Belarus? What rights and freedoms are guaranteed to us by the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus? These and other questions were discussed at the meeting.

For better assimilation of knowledge, as illustrations for the answers, Natalya Petrovna used posters of BSATU students - participants in the exhibition dedicated to the Constitution Day of the Republic of Belarus, which took place at our university on March 14, 2019, and said that studying at BSATU is very exciting and entertaining. Students also asked questions about career guidance. Natalya Petrovna showed a presentation about BSATU and drew attention to the peculiarities of admission and interesting moments education at our university. 25 years ago, on March 15, 1994, the main law of our country was adopted - the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus.

On its basis, the entire system of current legislation is formed, it determines the competence of the highest authorities and officials. Today, constitutional norms are firmly established in Everyday life Belarusian citizens. The honorary title of a citizen of the Republic of Belarus gives us certain rights and obligations fixed in the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus. Based on the provisions of the Basic Law, the country creates the necessary conditions for the realization of the creative potential of the individual, ensuring the well-being of each person. Our high civic duty is to respect the Constitution, strictly follow its provisions, and improve the legal culture of society.

On this day, in order to increase the level of legal awareness, legal culture and literacy of students, to form their respectful attitude to the Basic Law, the lawyers of the Department of Economic Theory and Law of BSATU Korennoy N.P., Danilchik O.V., Zabrodskoy Yu.V. together with the students-members of the Council of People's Commissars in Law at the Department of Economic Theory and Law as part of the SNES "SAPIUNT" at the Department of "Accounting, Analysis and Audit" (students of the supervised group of the 3rd year of the FPU 10im), an information and educational campaign was organized, dedicated to the Day Constitution of the Republic of Belarus. As part of the action, an exhibition of thematic posters of BSATU students was presented, depicting the basic rights and obligations of citizens of our country. The interest of the guests of the exhibition was also aroused by the broadcast videos, the participants of which were students of our university.

On this day, students and teachers participated in a competition for knowledge of the anthem of the Republic of Belarus and the symbols of the state, drew up a scheme for governing our country, and also participated in a quiz, where they were asked to answer a number of questions that reveal the essence of the articles of the Basic Law of our country.

The Department of Economic History was recreated by the decision of the Council of the Belarusian State Economic University on October 29, 1991 (minutes No. 10). This day can rightly be considered a birthday modern department economic history, which from 1991 to 2004 was headed by Professor Valery Ivanovich Golubovich. Under his leadership, textbooks "Economic History of Belarus", "Economic History of Foreign Countries" were published and repeatedly republished. The last of these publications has repeatedly been recognized as a bestseller in the market. educational literature, without reference to which none of the textbooks on the course of the history of the economy in the post-Soviet space can do. The staff of the department also developed teaching aids: “History of Tourism” (Associate Professor G.F. Shapoval), “History of the Financial and Credit System of Belarus” (Associate Professor Yu.L. Gruzitsky), “Monuments of the Cultural History of Belarus” (Associate Professor A.F. Samusik ), "History of the World Economy and International Economic Relations" (Associate Professor T.I. Povalikhina), etc.

From September 2004 to April 2017, the head of the department was Doctor of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Yury Nikolayevich Bokhan, who specialized in the study of historical and economic problems urban settlements of Belarus in the period of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. Since April 2017, the head of the department is Doctor of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Poletaeva Natalia Ivanovna.

There are 10 full-time teachers at the department, among them: 1 doctor of historical sciences (N.I. Poletaeva); 1 candidate of historical sciences, professor (V.I. Golubovich); 6 candidates of historical sciences, associate professors (G.P. Bushchik, T.V. Voronich, T.I. Povalikhina, A.F. Samusik, A.M. Sasim, D.N. Cherkasov); 2 assistants (G.V. Aleksashina, I.I. Satsukevich).

The department maintains long-term close ties with the Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and with educational institutions The Republic of Belarus, Russian Federation, Ukraine, Republic of Lithuania. Department staff together with colleagues from other scientific centers prepare publications on the history of Belarus, speak at numerous scientific conferences.

INTRODUCTION

Doing coursework in macroeconomics is one of the most important forms of independent work of students at a university, providing them with the opportunity to deeply and seriously understand certain pressing economic problems. Thoughtful work contributes to the systematization of knowledge and more successful preparation for the exam in the course of economic theory.

Analysis of complex economic problems in the course of course work will allow students to acquire skills in working with special literature, statistical and factual materials; to develop the ability to draw up and use tables, charts, graphs on the basis of statistical reference books and collections; based on the generalization of the phenomena of economic life, to make theoretical and practical implications. In the course of this work, the ability to clearly and logically express one's thoughts, use reasoned criticism and give a comparative description of different views on individual economic issues is acquired. In addition, students are involved in scientific research, gain experience in preparing reports and public speaking, preparing abstracts for conferences and scientific papers.
